Re: Fighting In Fields Of Gold [Closed]

Kaminari gave a weak smile as he tried helping her. As he apologized, she was actually sort of excited to have him show that he might care about her well being. The moment he stopped and let her go, a saddened look entered her eyes and she just looked away. He started talking again, and she looked back towards him. Kaminari watched him and was able to ignore the pain she felt in her chest for a short while. She took in a deep breath and took note of his advice. She nodded and couldn't agree more about ending the training where they were now. Finally she felt like she was able to relax after a lot of information was forced into her brain.
Kaminari held her stomach and began walking towards the rocky tunnel they had entered this place with. She was moving slowly, thinking rather hard when suddenly a voice came to her head. "KAMINARI!" she heard a family voice scream out. She raised her hand to her head and closed her eyes. Visions of Lira shot through her mind. Memories of that horrifying day, the day she lost her best friend because of something she could not stop or control.
"I.. can't... stop..." she mumbled under her breath where he could NOT hear her and straightened her back. Her posture quickly became more erect and she turned back to him with a new found determination in her eyes. "I won't stop." she thought to herself and walked back over to him. Stopping three feet away from him, she looked up at him and shook her head. She wanted to continue. Pushing her right foot back, she brought up her fists, showing that she was still ready to fight. She refused to back down now.

Kaminari heard only a few words being spoken as she stepped back towards him, but didn't know who he wast talking to. It only took her a second to realize he was speaking to his Zanpakutō, but this only made her smile and she still went to stance. Kaminari was never the type of girl to get angry or jealous because someone was able to do something that she was not. These were actually the type of people she preferred to keep as friends and learn from. Still, she didn't have or try to make friends, so she wondered whether he'd want to be one.
As he so suddenly dashed towards her, she tensed slightly and her eyes widened. She definitely was not expecting him to grab her hands and placed them down at her side. Trying something different, she didn't mind that either. She watched as he brought out his Zanpakutō and placed it into the ground. She reached back behind her and grabbed onto the hilt of hers. As she unsheathed it, this time it did not separate into the two swords it normally would. She prevented this and mimicked his movements by placing her sword into the ground as well. She stared down at her Zanpakutō for a second with a look of confusion, but smiled happily when she realized what they were going to do.
"My Zanpakutō Ability? My Shikai?!" she thought to herself in a burst of realization and felt a rush of excitement fly through her. She did her best to contain herself, fighting the urge to jump at him and hug him as a way of thanking him. She didn't know how he would react, so she just stood there with excitedly wide eyes and waited for him to tell her what she needed to do. She tried to bring out her Shikai a few times before, but failed miserably at it, so this was slightly refreshing. It was nice to have someone so willing to teach her.

Kaminari watched him with curiosity, and once signaled to she moved closer to him, stopping on the part of the ground he had patted. She turned towards her Zanpakutō and took in a deep breath, letting it out through her nose. She kept her eyes on it for a moment and assumed that it was able time for her to start. She straightened her posture, keeping her back straight as she rested her hands on her knees. Closing her eyes and relaxing, she began to concentrate on connecting herself with her Zanpakutō, trying to get it to speak with whom ever it may be.
While trying to concentrate, she thought it was going to be silent, but it was not. A certain person was walking around her, making noise and doing something she had yet to take a look at. She opened one of her eyes just barely to see him circling her. "Eh..." she thought in a rather irritated way, but calmed herself down and moved on. Soon, she felt he was not going to stop and opened her eye once more, watching him for a second with a glare in her eyes and then closed her eyes again. "Stop iiiiit. I can't concentrate when you do that Redd..." she thought to herself again and then took in a deep breath, trying to push out any sound from her mind.
For a moment she thought that she was close to doing it. She felt something pulling at her for a slight moment and got slightly excited and unfortunately caused her to lose her concentration. Getting slightly irritated now, she suddenly felt a foot touch the back of her head. She jumped to her feet as quickly as she could and pointed rather evilly at him. Her eyes were wide with annoyance and she looked like she wanted to say something, but she refused to.
Kaminari paced back and forth for a moment in frustration, raising her arms over her head. She shook her head rapidly like this was just not going to work and then allowed her body to fall backwards. She landed in a patch of the golden flowers again, the pedals shooting up and over her body. A breeze carried them away. Seeing those flowers kept her mind at peace, but she was still frustrated. She turned her head to face her Zanpakutō, staring at it and wondering what she was doing so wrong.

Kaminari sat up when hearing his words and moved closer to her Zanpakutō. She decided that it was about time to try something. He said to concentrate. She had been doing that. Calling out for her Zanpakutō's name. She had been doing that as well. She assumed that it must have been the connected that kept them apart. So, she took a deep breath and stood up on her knees. She placed her forehead against the hilt of the sword and slowly let it out. She once again began concentrating and using her heart, mind, and soul to call her Zanpakutō forward. This time the pull was much stronger. She almost felt like her body was being pulled by some sort of current, yet she did not move.
Kaminari slowly opened her eyes and looked around. She was no longer in the place that she and Redd were training in. This land was much different. It was dark, painted with dark reds and pinks. The land was like a grass-less valley. Off in the distance she saw dead trees and other shapes. She took in a deep and relaxing breath once a nice cool breeze blew through the area. This comforted her, even though she was slightly confused by the way this place looked. "Is this really my inner world?" she thought to herself, sort of confused. She always thought she was more of a light person, but seeing this she began to wonder.
On the outside, in the 'real' world, her body dropped back down to the floor into a sitting position. Her arms hung limply down by her sides and her head was dropped forward the moment she entered her inner world. Finally she was in.

Kaminari kept looking around until she saw anything of life. There was nothing. At least that was until she laid her eyes on a young woman with white hair and glowing green eyes. She seemed to be fond of a flower that she had took in the scent for and then placed it in her hair. As the woman walked closer towards Kaminari, she glanced her up and down, taking in the designs of the beautiful kimono that the woman wore, along with her posture and demeanor. She was taken slightly aback by the look in the woman's eyes, still wondering how this would be her inner world and this intimidating woman being her Zanpakutō's Spirit.
When studying at Shino Academy, she had learned that the Zanpakutō's spirit, power, and especially the inner world were supposed to, in some way, reflect the inner soul of the person wielding them. Was this woman and herself more alike than she first assumed just because of the way she looked? Oh well. This was her. She was definitely going to do what she could to learn from her and hopefully become powerful. She turned her body fully to face the woman and took in a deep breath. She listened to her words and then slowly let a breath out.
"What is your name?" Kaminari asked in her usual calm voice. She was in control at the moment, which was obviously not very intimidating at all. She spoke in a raspy whisper, her voice seeming as if it was rarely used, which obviously it wasn't. At this point she just truly wanted to know the name of her Zanpakutō.
