An arrancar had snuck past the karakura barrier. It had escaped detection with its reiatsu suppression. It snuck past the hotspots of shinigami activity and anyone who could find him. It had come in search of a meal and was capable of annihilating lives with such speed that chaos could break out before anyone even knew what was happening. The arrancar now sat atop a streetlight, looking down at the busy people. His eyes were predatory, looking for a perfect target. How many lives would he take tonight? How many souls would be part of him before he was stopped?

The answer, of course, was absolutely none.

Desalmado was looking for candy today. He had run from the wastelands right into the hart of Karakura town, an act that risked his own life if anyone found him, because he wanted some candy and this was the best place to get it. People thought it was safe here. Such people think it's a good place to raise children. Where there is children, there are bribes for children to calm down and be obedient. Candy shops full of complicated confections. Jawbreakers the size of your fist. Swirly lollipops bigger than your head. Jelly beans of over one hundred and seventy five flavors. Gummi worms two pounds heavy and three feet long. Sour gel so sour it would pucker even the most enthused fans. Caramel apples still warm. Brownies with five kinds of chocolate. Chocolate dipped chocolate cookies with chocolate sprinkles on top. The little boy, like all little children, wanted it all at once.

Luckily for him, he had no parents to tell him no. No mother to berate him. No father to offer a less decadent treat instead. He had no budget constraints. He'd never get full and he'd never get cavities. Absolutely no downfalls... except for that small detail that he would be risking his life just from existing here. That, however, was a small and insignificant detail to the rewards offered. He was literally a kid not just one candy store, but all the candy stores of this city.

Desalmado looked up to his companion, eager to begin his raid.

One small detail though. He'd have to steal it all.

Well today was a suposed normal day in the life of Zero, a S-class ziamachi working for the Yayjuu within Karakura but to be exact, Zero couldn't define what normal truly meant because he was a very powerful being that was trying to act like a normal teenager within a big city like this one. But through out his life it hasn't been normal one bit as he's gone from being a orphan with a single friend to being mentored by a evil Arrancar to being free again as a orphan to being controlled by a evil spirit that made his lose his memory that also seemed to be part of his old mentor and after all that he regained his memory, gained back his only friend to join the Yayjuu with him. Buit this wasn't the end of his not normal life as just a while back he had to stop a madman at Karakura High that said that he felt a power that wanted to destroy the building and had to fight him and it ended with the school actually destroied and that madman captured. But the school was rebuilt rather quickly and most things reverted to normal but it would only last so long as a paradise to him.

He now walked along the sidewalk like a average citizen and he looked around him seeing so many around him knowing that each of them had their own normal life. Eventually Zero came across a bench to wait for a bus or taxi to stop at to pick him up and he watched now for a vehicle to passby but none seem to came so far so Zero tried to focus on other things on the moment and strangely he found himself in the part of town that was a child's paradise with 2 two video game stores, 3 toy stores, 2 playground sets and 3 candy stores all grouped together in one central location. Zero was in a strange mood and wondered if he could leave his spot for a bvit dfor some candy but instead of moving he found himself just staring at building across from him that was a candy store. Mayybe with the money on hand he could get some candy but then again he could always keep his spot and get some candy later but then he might forget when he got to the Yayjuu base and he would have training and studying to do anyway when he gets their but hopefully school would eventually end for a break. After all it was getting to be that time isn't it.

"Well I guess it's time I made my choice." He told himself and The Voice.

"Indeed it is Zero." The Voice responded

With that permission, Desalmado was free to consume. He grinned at Aramand and hopped on down, avoiding the people and running to the closest candy store. The first thing to be snatched was a bag of sour gummi worms. With his quick speed, it looked like it was gone in one moment when it was there just a second ago. He ripped open the bag with his sharp teeth and stuffed the contents into his mouth, swallowing. He choked a bit from the excitement, a couple worms coughed back up from slipping down the wrong hole before being swallowed back down.

Next he took powdered flavored sugars, stuffing them down five tubes at a time and tossing the wrappings to the wind. He grabbed candied chestnuts and rice crackers, stuffing them both down. Crumbs and bits of sweets went flying everywhere. He snatched a chocolate bar and crunched down to consume the whole thing, caramel filling coating his face and hands. What he couldn't stuff in his mouth he stuffed into a bag he stole.

He paused once, wrestling with a giant swirly lolipop. His perquisa picked up another person, close. It was sharp like an arrow prickling all over his skin. He crunched the lolipop, feeling it out better and focusing. Desalmado could recognize this one. Throwing the stick away, he scooped whole packages of spongecake and sweet-filling buns.

His subconscious told him to run, whatever that feeling was meant he shouldn't be here. Of course, he shouldn't be here anyways, but he should still leave. There soon grew to be a small commotion as stores realized some of their stuff disappeared faster than they could keep track of. They didn't want to cause a commotion of course, that would frighten their child customers and upset the patron mothers. Wehn Desalmado's bag had been filled and he stuffed his hands of candy, he leapt back to his friend, a mess.

He grinned, his teeth stained red and blue and green and a rainbow of colors. The arrancar was possibly the happiest child alive at this moment and no one could say otherwise. His sonido went with a sound of loud static, though alien to those that could detect him in the first place, it was unmistakably the sound of an arrancar. He didn't worry too much though, he worried about nothing at all.

Desalmado offered a lolipop to Aramand while chewing on a candied walnut, the honey covering his mouth and hands along with chocolate, caramel, sugar crystals and god knows what else. He was a happy mess and was proud of it.

"Eat eat! Tasty! Candy!" Desalmado was not about to eat something alone. When one had so much wealth, one should share it with all his friends! This included, of course, stolen confections as well.

"Now is my choice." He stated.

"Wise choice." The voice replied within him.

Zero moved from the bench and moved across the street with ease as no one was coming by and how quickly he moved as well. He eventually entered the front door of the candy store to find himself in what seemed like a candy wonderland that you would dream about as a little child. He looked around for a little bit but then he spotted a rather large lollipop that he thought would be perfect for him to have. But the oddest thing happened as he reached for the candy it disappeared from it's spot and was no longer there althrough it was just there a second ago. It puzzled him for a second but he figured out after a second that someone was being sneak and quick at robbing this candy store of some of it's treats. The little kid wouldn't escape someone like him as he quickly moved out of the shop and quickly jumped while he was unnoticed by people but he didn't just jump a foot or two no he jumped on top of the candy store's roof. With that completed he released his power showing all those around that a powerful person was among them and something was about to happen. Quickly the entire nearby area for two miles went into silence making everyone not able to speak or even make a noise within Zero's silence zone not even himself. Quickly he removed the silence zone to reveal the sounds of mass panic as everyone within the area now paniced into fleeing the area or just plain hiding somewhere.

With that complete Zero moved to phase two of his plan which forced him to create 49 clones of himself made from generated sound and his own energy that were all controlled like puppets by his ziamachi, The Voice. Now was phase three as all 50 of them split up and went in different directions and three of them went in the direction of the park that wasn't very far away and they began to scan the area for anyone with a odd amount or candy or was trying to act too calm for all that was happening. While 3 of them were there the 46 others and Zero were in a different nearby area but would be able to come to assist any of the clones since they are all controlled by one single spirit. The thing that made these spirits odd from the orginal Zero was that they were echos and as they normally moved they left afterimages also as they spoke they could repeat words or have multiple words being said at once. If the two didn't move as one of them passby then they would be spotted by the clone and then everything would be swarming on them as they still had their candy probably. Eventually one would pass them by first and then if they hide and paid attention the second time they would passby there would be two Zero walking side by side at the moment. It was their choice how they acted towards these clones and if showed any energy the clones would pick up on it and so would probably all the others as well swarming on the scene. This was now almost like a test as these two had to avoid the Zeros in the area and enjoy their candy while making there next move or escaping the city depending on the situation.

This was going to be quite a difficult task to avoid Zero the Sound Master but it was not imppossible and with all the signs in front of them the two theives should be able to notice that someone with a large amount of power was on their tail and wasn't going to give up so easily on a search.

Desalmado grinned at Aramand. He seemed to be worried about being caught, though it was an understandable worry. Desalmado however shared no such worry. He didn't fight his friend about it though. Despite being a hollow and being a creature born from violence and bloodshed, he was a surprisingly pacifist character. So he simply followed Aramand, sucking on his candy coated sleeve. It tasted wonderful.

As Aramand crunched his candy, Desalmado grinned in appreciation. Even adults could enjoy a child's treat, it seemed. One had to wonder why more adults didn't enjoy children's treats. Sometimes he heard adults talking about purposefully abstaining from sweet and decadent foods. Such logic was insanity to the child. Such logic was insanity to any child. At least this adult, this Aramand, could see the logic that candy was good, so one should eat all the candy they can find.

It was when the duo attempted to acquire a peaceful settlement in the park that there was a huge blast of power. It was the same power Desalmado recognized. His lips drew back to a snarl again, defensive. Aramand may even hear an animalistic chittering sound escape his throat. Kikikikiki. The centipede clamoring his face began to rattle with warning, though it made no sound from the silence that overwhelmed them. Then the silence lifted into panic. People ran and hid and Des, instinctive, hid with them.

The child arrancar moved more instinctively than with thought leapt into a nearby tree, curling up with his bag of candy. He made no move to try and also help his friend, was how instinctive it appeared to be for him. His snarl was still wide and his eyes flitted around an even more panicky manner than they usually did. It was akin to a startled feral kitten, really. Then the clones happened. He could sense them. They felt different. They didn't feel real, but he could feel their realness. It made him snarl more, appearing afraid but his mouth was set in a tense, huge grin.

He just wanted some candy.

Zero hadn't really moved from the candy store's main area and had actually returned to the roof by the time that Zero informed about someone that had requested for him. It seemed that the person was quite pissed off by how Zero revealed himself to the population around him. With the message sent Zero used Sonido to move immeaditely to location of the man and told the Voice to move the clones to where the were facing each other and then between them, he had arrived and both of them faded away to reappear else where to continue searching. Zero looked at the man in front of him and studied him for a bit trying to learn what he could about him but there wasn't very much so he decided it was best to speak now and get him into a conversation.

"I'm S class ziamachi Zero, I'm sorry for causing the disruption but I believe that I've stumbled on a child that is quite powerful, fast, and a thief that could be robbing more than just what I saw and he needed to be stopped so I released my power to clear the area, intimidate, and hopefully scare him away. But he or even she may of just gone into hiding and will continue after I leave. But before I continue explaining who are you and is there anyone else here with you?" He told the man.

This was quite a unique situation and he wondered who this man was to be requesting for him like this and he had to have some kind of power to try and pull such a thing. Zero's next move would be decided on how this man answered him and was certain that he wouldn't be able to rest easy knowing that such a person so powerful was out there. Zero wondered through how someone like this was not recorded and kept track of so another question is where a theif like this would come from in the first place.

Desalmado's perquisa felt this man oddly. He felt close in relation, but at the same time so very, very far. Beastly, like... but... yet not as beastly what he was familiar with. He couldn't put his finger on it. Aramand was in front of him, large and protective. Adults sure were useful for some things... He remained, his fixed cheshire grin stained with candy dye. Aramand called this man out, this man who was multiple men, He appeared before them, curious.

Introduced himself as 'S class ziamachi'. The arrancar didn't know what that was. He had spend almost all his time in hueco mundo, stealing candies when he could from the human world. This was unfamiliar territory to him and he was curious. What was a ziamachi? He was tempted to go and ask, but that commanding aura all adults had was around Aramand and Desalmado was under his spell. The hand told him to stay and be calm. So Desalmado stayed.

Adults sure were useful after all. His grin began to lessen slightly, but still tense. He wasn't here for a fight, after all. He was here for candy. The little arrancar stood still in the branches of the tree, watching with intensity but, for once, silent.
