A Meeting Of Strangers [Closed]

"Oh darn..." was all she said when she realized that she wasn't able to do any damage to the hollow she had hit with her Kidō. "Forget it..." she sighed and reached back to the hilt of her Zanpakutō. She took hold and pulled it out rather quickly. For a slight moment, the sword became transparent and seemed to defuse with another more longer sword, showing that her Zanpakutō was actually a duel wield. "I can't do anything with my Kidō, so I'll have to use this..." she thought as she tossed her Zanpakutō from her right to her left hand and quickly focused.

At that moment the small hollow jumped over to her right and swung at her. She turned to the side, her left arm now closer to him, allowing his arm to move easily passed her mid-section. At that moment, she swung her left arm up, the blades edge slicing easily through the white mask of the smaller hollow. This had obviously been a distraction because the larger hollow howled, that familiar scream echoing through the forest as his mouth opened. Her eyes widened as the hollow suddenly shot out a blue goo towards the two of them. "Aoi! Look out!" she shouted as she jumped back out of the way of the goo. She looked over to Aoi to see if he had gotten hit.

After checking his status, she narrowed her eyes at this hollow and then ran forward towards him. Out of nowhere, her foot was swept out from under her. She slipped on some of the goo and fell to the floor, right into a small puddle of it.

"Okay... This has to be the worst thing.. that has ever happened to me." she sat up and raised her arms, looking at the goo that now covered most of her body. "I'm covered in hollow mucus!" She honestly felt rather disgusted, but once she heard the hollow running at her, she looked to him. At first she stayed still, which she immediately realized was a mistake when she saw that the hollow was not slipping on his own filth. "Oh no..." she thought to herself as her eyes widened and the hollow swung a large arm around to strike her.

After his little tangle with the hollows around him he gathered some chaos power in to his hands and let it form an aura around his body, he looked up to see a big wall of goo come towards him, he swiftly rolled out of the way, landing some 10 yards away from it. As he looked up he noticed Kaminari stuck in the goo, upon seeing this he launched himself in to a teleport and came out with his shoulder lowered at the hollow.

Upon landing on the ground with the hollow he laced his legs to pin down it's arms and too one hand with some chaos energy in it striking down for it's mask. Aoi usually wasn't this aggressive towards a being but he didn't want to see Kaminari hurt, so he took his protectiveness to the next level ensuring that this hollow would not even exist anymore.

After landing a quick blow to the hollows mask he formed his bow and arrow aiming right in to where the teeth were on it's mask, he charged up a bolt so bright it was almost blinding to those besides Aoi. He held it there breathing heavy ready to release this massive way of chaos energy. As he paused more energy was gathering in to the bolt, a dangerous amount for the hollow. At this rate even a near miss would obliterate it, but he kept charging staring down at the hollow through his emotionless eyes. He muttered the words," I will not let you hurt another one of my friends you foul despicable beast."

Her eyes widened with how quickly that Aoi was able to move. He had protected her without any hesitation and she officially felt like she might actually have a new friend, but that was to be decided later. She wasn't one to easily give her heart and friendship away to someone that she just met, but she did trust him. She went to stand up to try and help him out, but slipped in the goo again and this time fell on her back, last time having falling on her stomach. "This... is officially the worst thing that has ever happened to me..." she thought in frustration to herself. It wasn't true of course. There was still that one even that happened that nothing could be worse than.

Giving up on the idea of standing, she pushed herself to sit up and looked at Aoi. The bow was collected loads of some kind of energy that she did not really understand. She knew that it must be the chaos energy she had read about, but had never gotten to see it up close and at this magnitude. She blinked a few times as she watched this in complete awe, and waited for Aoi to fire the arrow. She really wanted to see what exactly was going to happen to the hollow once an arrow that strong was fired at him, but at the same time she wondered, "Is it possible for it to hurt me at such close range?"

As Aoi released the bolt nothing but a quick snap was heard from the energy finding it's way through the hollows mask. At first it appeared as if only a tiny hole had just appeared on the hollow but a few fractions of a second later an enormous light flashed from inside of the hollow, making it turn a pure white color for that second. Aoi took a second too look over and see that Kaminari was still watching, he knew the power would be too much for her to withstand the shock wave, and that the other hollows would be coming for her as she was sitting and watching. He jumped over and slid on the goo, the thought of this was disgusting but when trying to protect someone you didn't really mind a bit of laundry. He grabbed her and forced her down as he shielded her from the massive amounts of Chaos Energy released in to the hollow.

As he made it to her the blast finally happened, a huge cloud about 20 feet high rose and an explosion rocked the nearby area sending some branches from the trees falling to the ground, a thunderous boom was heard and the hollow was gone. Nothing left of him, Aoi had underestimated how much energy would be needed to destroy him. A few moments after the explosion the other hollows seemed a bit uneasy but still aggressive, Aoi watched them carefully as they regrouped.

"Are you all right Kaminari?"Aoi asked with true concern. He turned to face her and noticed she was covered in the same goo which he had slid in which made him chuckle a bit. Even though this was combat and the situation was certainly not laughable, he found this moment pretty funny. As much as he didn't want to, he had to laugh. He then stood up, slipping a bit, but remained upright. He decided to use this goo to his advantage. He waited and watch the Hollows waiting for the next one to commit to an attack.

The blast from the explosion caused by the large amount of chaos energy, startled her. As if by reflex, she reached out and clung to Aoi, her hands grasping tightly onto his shirt until the blast stopped. Once it was done, she peaked around him and blinked a few times, but still kept the other hollows in mind. She looked around, her hands letting his shirt go as she turned towards the three that remained.

"One large... two small are all that's left." she thought to herself and then pushed herself to her feet, being as careful as possible. Grabbing onto Aoi's sleeve, she did her best to catch her balance. At that moment the hollows decided to attack. The two small ran in first, one attacking at each of them, while the larger one went last. Obviously the smaller ones were diversions, but the larger one wasn't playing games. His arm was about three feet thick and ten feet long.

The two smaller hollows ran around them and tried charging in. Kaminari pushed herself back to dodge a strike from the smaller one, causing herself to move in closer to Aoi. She glanced back to him, being caught off guard while the other small hollow was attacking him. Once the large one was in range, it raised it's arm and swung it around horizontally towards the two of them. She was lucky enough to see this coming and raised her Zanpakutō to block the hit. Unfortunately the goo below them caused her to slip and she was pushed backwards and good ten feet, sliding across the ground like an ice skater. She quickly looked up to see what had happened to Aoi when the small hollow attacked and then the large one right after.

Aoi was usually sly and cunning in these fights, but he got hit bad this time. After suffering a low strike to his legs sending him up off his feet momentarily, the bigger one punched him back. As he went flying backwards he spun in to a back flip. He landed right beside Kaminari on his ass as he looked at the bigger hollow.

Aoi pulled his chaos energy back in to his hand as he formed the bow again, this time though he formed about 20 good bolts and released them all at the same time in an x formation, heading straight for the smaller hollows the bolts began to fire up in intensity. Most of them just looked like flash bangs simply letting off a bright flare, but the one that he intended all along to be a direct hit smacked dead center in to one of the smaller ones.

As the explosion from the bolt rocked the ground he looked over at Kaminari. Aoi at this point was starting to feel a bit fatigued, he had used quite a bit of Chaos Energy and began pulling some for the surroundings to fuel himself. His seishin buki /did/ have more than enough for him, but if he used it he couldn't hear Kaminari talk. He decided he would try and make it on his own power and kept his focus on drawing it from the surrounding area.

As he was thrown back, she held out her right arm and did her best to help him not fall. Kaminari glared over to the large hollow and then looked back to Aoi. She was able to tell that he was getting tired. “Probably because of how much energy he is using...” she told herself and then looked around to find something to fight these jerks back. The large hollow began to charge again, running at them at full speed. At that moment, she saw the tree behind her and had an idea.

“Push me up.” was all she said in hopes that he would understand what she meant. She moved towards the tree and pressed her foot against the trunk to push herself into the air. Turning perfectly to land on his shoulders, she used this extra height to jump from his shoulders and over towards the hollow, now higher than it. She raised her Zanpakutō over her head and sliced down vertically, flying easily through the large hollows head. It's body fell to the ground and she landed behind it. She glanced over to it's body and smirked when she saw that it was disintegrating like the other three that had died before him.

“One left...” she looked towards the small hollow and to her disdain, it was jumping above her head and swinging it's tail around her neck. Catching her off guard, it grabbed her and landed behind her, but it did not stop there. “AOI!” she screamed as her body hit the ground. It ran off, it's tail wrapped firmly around her neck, she was now being dragged along the floor and towards the forest. She clenched her hands around her Zanpakutō and tried cutting the hollow, but it's tail was too long and it was just out of her reach. His tail tightened around her neck and she began to choke as she continued being dragged along the ground of the forest.

As she was being dragged no one saw exactly how Aoi did it, all that was seen was a dark flash which was odd enough, but then a black bolt went through the tail of the hollow. The hollow screamed as the tail disintegrated. Aoi appeared to have a extremely dark aura coming from him, though he did not seem to be in a maniacal or evil state.

What really had happened was Aoi had morphed in to his Hybrid form 1. This was the first time anyone had ever seen him go in to this phase, and it was sure to be an awesome sight. He was emitting a purple glow and though it was unnecessary for him to use this state on one small hollow, he decided it was best so that his chaos energy would double.

After watching the hollow collapse Aoi ran to Kaminari's side. " I believe you would like to kill this one correct?"He noted with a smile. While it seemed like his power was tapped in to his chaos energy and he was more powerful, he still didn't lose his cool and maintained his usual demeanor. He offered a hand to help Kaminari up then as he faced the screaming hollow.

Although she saw a strange black bolt shoot out and hit the hollows tail, she didn't think too much of it at the time. The moment the tail was gone and she stopped being dragged, she rolled over onto her side and held her throat with both hands. She was coughing hysterically from having her throat held in such a way. Hearing the hollows howl, she pushed herself into a sitting position and looked to it. When she dropped her hand from her throat, she'd reveal deep red grooves from the hollows tail. Coughing a couple more times, she looked to Aoi feeling slightly out of it.

"Thank you... Aoi" she spoke and then smiled, but unfortunately she did not realize that her voice was no longer being covered by his power. She knew that it had a limit, but she didn't really know when. At this point she was talking in her normal voice, and even the hollow seemed to cry out in immense pain. It thrashed around for a moment and then just stopped moving in all. Soon after, it disintegrated and was completely gone from their sights. Realizing what had happened, she looked to Aoi with wide eyes to see his reaction. The normal voice, being at such close range, and the fact that she was not even attempting to control it at this time would not be good for him. Some would even pass out at something like this, but she hoped that the chaos energy around his ears had not completely gone yet.

As he watched the hollow disentegrate, he pondered why they were even here. He thought about how he could have ended the fight before it even really began, and preventing his friend from betting hurt. He heard her tal andhis enhanced chaos energy had still covered some of his ear, but seeing as his chaos energy was flickering a bit of the normal sound she emitted began to ring in his ears.

Not much else was heard from Aoi as his Chaos energy stopped functioning, and his hybrid stage one presence ceased. The combination from fighting and then hearing Kaminari's unfortunate curse, sent him in to a spiral of dizziness, he dropped. He looked up and tried to grasp what was going on but all he heard was a loud screeching, he didn't bother covering his ears to ease the pain as he knew it wouldn't help.

After a few moments after Aoi collapsed he rolled to his side and faced Kaminari, his eyes looking directly at her vicinity but not quite able to focus on her. "Ka...Mi...Na...Ri...Are you...ok?" His words were stuttered and he was obvious weak and in need of chaos energy. He looked around a bit scanning for a good source and wandered if he could draw some from the surrounding plants.
