Daily Routine [Open to Sqaud Four Members and injured pateints]
Sat Jun 02, 2012 1:07 pm
The Squad Four barracks had a wonderful garden in which patients could walk around and relax in to help aid them on the road to recovery. It was filled with flowers and small koi ponds, so the scent of flowers and the sound of gently flowing water filled the air. This made it the perfect place to meditate.
It was for that reason Aya took an hour out of her day everyday to come her and meditate. The day was bright and sunny with a gentle breeze flowing through the air. It blew the woman's bound hair around a bit, but the girl didn't notice. She just sat there legs crossed, sword across her lap, and with her arms laying on her legs. Her eyes were closed and the look on her face was so peaceful that it looked as if she was sleeping.
However, inside her mind the atmosphere was anything, but peaceful. The woman stood on a stone pillar in the middle of a storm. Peals of thunder boomed and lighting streaked down from the sky to crash against nearby pillars and destroy them. The woman didn't flinch as she stood on her pillar getting soaked by the constant rain.
The wind lashed her and tore off her her hair bind, letting her long hair fly about her giving her a wild appearance. She ignored that too. Instead she stared straight ahead at a crackling pillar of energy. The pillar of energy amazingly stared back at her with golden eyes. A cavernous maw opened up, but no sound came out and all she heard was thunder.
"I can't hear you! Why can't I hear you?" The maw continued to move, but still she heard nothing issue from it. The beast spread huge wings that bowled over stone pillars as if they were toys and started to fly at her. It seemed to be roaring, but she couldn't here it. "What are you trying to say?!?" As it neared her Aya readied for a fight, but as soon as she drew her blade a peal of laughter from the garden startled her out of her trance.
She looked up at the sun noticing its' position. Her hour was up. She sighed and stood up fixing her cloths and readjusting her sword. It was time for her to go about her duties for the day.

She walked by the patient and her care taker who had broken her concentration. They didn't notice her since they were to engrossed in a game they were playing and chatting away happily. She didn't want to disturb them since the patient had finally managed to open up to someone after her traumatic mission to Hueco Mundo. She slipped by and entered the barracks heading for the burn ward.
It was one of the most sterilized places in Seireitei since burns had a nasty habit of getting infected. The smell of burnt flesh wafted up to her nose, but she had long since gotten used to the smell of decayed or burnt flesh. It was still unpleasant, but it didn't make her gag like it once did. She walked up to her first patient of the day. He had a run in with a Hollow that could breathe fire and had barely escaped with his life.
"Well, your certainly lucky Mr.Ito. These burns are rather light compared to some we've recently seen. It won't take long to heal up at all." The man grunted obviously thinking he wasn't all that lucky. She gently lifted the antiseptic bandages of his back to start working on the red skin. She placed both her hands over his back and focused her energy into her hands.
A sigh of relief was heard as the healing energy started to heal the burnt flesh of the man's back. The flesh slowly started to fade to it's normal color until it was a vivid pink. She continued this process until the whole of his back was covered in a pink splotch that marked the where the burn had been. "There you go. I'll let the rest of it heal naturally. We're going to observe you for a little while longer Mr.Ito, so just relax alright."
The man mumbled out a thanks as Aya lowered the bandages back down. "Try not to get burned again Mr.Ito. The next time you might not be so lucky." With a brief wave she was off again.
