Viviana Leonhardt [Approved, 2-1; Knight]

Sugiura Template
Basics
Name: Viviana Nerine Leonhardt
True Age: 3,842
Gender: Female
Personality: Viviana, on the outside, is an iron fist. She shows no signs of emotion aside for annoyance and anger. It is hard to get Viviana to smile while she's in public. All of this goes back to an inferiority complex she has with her sister. Yes, Viviana Leonhardt feels that the only person that metters, including her family (which means herself as well), is her older sister, Arturia Leonhardt. Viviana feels that Arturia, as King of the West, deserves to be as strong as powerful. Viviana would rather give up her potential for Arturia to have any more, as she feels that Arturia will always do what's good for her people with that power. Viviana also has a misguided thought that what is good for Arturia is what's good for her people. This can get dangerous for Viviana, as sometimes she'll sacrifice sleep, eating, drinking, and even using the bathroom to help Arturia in any way possible. At those times, she has to be ordered by her sister to do whatever it was she wasn't by being near Arturia.
However, one of the biggest things people will notice about Viviana when she is in public is simply how resolute she is. If one didn't know better, they'd say she was as strong and as firm as her sister (which she calls her 'sibling' in public, since no one really needs to know that Arturia is female). To those that actually know her, they laugh inside at the fools that think they're equal in resoluteness. Viviana is far weaker in private than in public. This is because as much as she denies it, Viviana is still a young girl. Unlike Arturia, Viviana didn't have a "duty" to uphold, so she wasn't forced to do nearly the same things Arturia was. Thus, Viviana still has her childhood wants and such. However, she's on the receding end of childhood and is seeing the world in a more mature view.
When it comes to her other sister, Jeanne, Viviana has a much different relationship. Viviana does respect Jeanne, but nothing like Arturia. Rather, Jeanne and Viviana have the typical big-sister-little-sister relationship. Jeanne will tease Viviana occasionally, especially about her slightly larger bust (which normally results in Jeanne grabbing them to 'make sure there are't pads'). Viviana, being the insecure child she is, doesn't like when Jeanne teases her and will immediately jump away from her, blushing hard. However, Jeanne is also there to be a strong shoulder to lean on. Viviana feels like she can talk with Jeanne about anything, except for how she feels about Arturia.
Viviana and Ketheldrein have a bit of a different relationship. Viviana feels like she has to be the mature one between her and Ketheldrein, especially since Ketheldrein likes to walk around in the nude. When she does, Viviana will chase her around, carrying a robe for her to put on. However, Viviana does like it when Ketheldrein is the mature one and treats Viviana as her little sister. However, one thing about Ketheldrein Viviana is always amazed at is her modern, almost-rebelious attitude.
If you do happen to be close to Viviana, her childish, feminine mannerisms are almost predictable at times. She adores flowers, and she will go out of her way (while in private) to look at flowers. She's rather positive and can be seen smiling around those whom she cares about. One person in particular she cares dearly for is Daigoro Ito. She feels like he is a brother to her, even though he isn't even engaged to Arturia yet. She is there to support him when he gets depressed and she halfway expects the same, but she would be fine if he didn't return the favor. Viviana is, however, protective of anyone close to her and her sister. She will lash out, even in public as long as Arturia isn't around, if someone says anything ill of any of her close friends and family, especially Arturia or Daigoro. Viviana also never gives anyone nicknames and will always call them by that person's full preferred name (such as her calling Daigoro by his name, Daigoro, and not Dai).
General Appearance
Appearance:
Viviana is not like her sisters in appearance in many ways. Viviana's hair slightly changes from a more yellow-ish blond to a lighter shade that more resembles her sisters'. Unlike any of her other sisters, Viviana has let her grow to her lower waist to differ herself from all of her siblings. However, one trait that she has that is the most different is her eyes. She has a form of heterochromia which changes the shade of both of her eyes from a golden yellow to a turquoise. She has no tattoos across her body, and actually hates the idea of getting tattoos or piercings, mainly because of a fear of needles.
Animalistic Traits: Viviana has only one trait that can be attributed to her being a Sugiura. Her fingernails are as hard as steel, and they can only grow to a certain length before they stop growing.
Appearance Age: 19-ish
Height: 150 cm
Weight: 40 kg
Three sizes: B75/W56/H79
Natural Abilities
Techinques: N/A
Magic: Viviana doesn't have much training in magic, so her spells have a 50% chance of failing.
Sacred Weapon: Viviana's sacred is something of an honor. The Leonhardt family is one known for its monopoly of Holy Sacreds. The primary one is Excalibur, but only Arturia can wield that sword. The sword Viviana recieved is known as Joyeuse. Joyeuse is the youngest of the Holy Sacreds, as it was the actual sword of Charles the Great, or as he was more commonly called, Charlemagne. The sword is only a Holy Sacred as it has part of another Holy Sacred inside of its pommel. The very tip of the Lance of Longinus is embedded within the pommel, giving Joyeuse a "shining legend." However, Joyeuse is not a long blade by no means. The sword, upon the will of its owner, is capable of condensing itself into a foot-long dagger. It has a single wing-like protrusion that acts like hilt guard. Viviana never takes it out of its short form, however.
Other Weapons:
Guardian Beast
Origin: Normalcy
Guardian Beast:
Bedivere is a former Knight Sugiura who served under Viviana's father as his most trusted knight. However, Bedivere was killed after protecting her father from an assassin. Because of his legendary status as a knight, he was easily able to be reincarnated as a Guardian Beast. Bedivere is extremely loyal to his "Dame du Lis." He is soft-spoken and normally reserved, but he will give advice to Viviana when she asks for it, but no other time. Bedivere usually does not force himself out of Joyeuse, as he finds it extremely rude to do so. However, if Viviana is threatened, he might act against her will and manifest himself if Diarmuid is not around. Bedivere's main weapon is a replica of the Holy Sword, Excalibur. This may have something to do with something in her last form...
Guardian Beast's World: Camboglanna. The legendary site where the Battle of Camlann took place. The area is a hilly world, with sparce trees and grass never too tall. The grassy plain is not all that is in Bedivere' world. At the center is a large fort. The fort's walls are cracking and overgrown, but the inside of it has no blemishes. The plains, however, are not bare. Scattered throughout are rusted swords, spears, arrows, armor, and other weapons of war from Camlann. Of course, they'd shatter upon picking them up, so using them is pointless.
Joushou
[b]Joushou Appearance:
Joushou: Viviana's Joushou is nothing special. Viviana can unleash a small blast of energy capable of collapsing a small office building on a full release. The release is actually controllable. This means that the energy can be a shear release or it can be shaped. However, Viviana is not capable of really changing its shape. Viviana's main version of attack is what she calls "spores." These are small, marble-sized spheres of reishi that explode with the force of a few sticks of dynamite each. Viviana can have hundreds of these tiny spores at once, though she can only release them three times per thread with a three post cooldown. Viviana can now summon armor reminiscent of Arturia's armor, albeit white. However, Viviana can not keep Joyeuse in its dagger form.
Invisible Air: Bounded Field of the Wind King (風王結界(インビジブル・エア): A sheath of wind that covers Joyeuse and conceals it so that it cannot be easily recognized as her Sacred when she is in public. It is made up of multiple layers of wind compressed into super-high pressure air with a massive amount of reiatsu, which distorts the refraction of light and renders what is inside completely invisible. Upon Joyeuse, it takes on the shape of the blade and renders it as an invisible sword that doesn't appear even as sparks fly off of it. It isn't used for any particular strength, but it is easier to use in battle than Joyeuse and it is a trump card that can bring about victory if used well. It is rather simple in execution, but it proves tremendously effective in hand-to-hand combat. The barrier isn't a vacuum, so the air constantly whirling around the blade is essentially a weapon. It increases the damage and cutting power of an attack, and the amount of reiatsu released from each strike is high enough that it is visible to the eye. It also provides for an increased accuracy and defense against opponents unfamiliar with the nature of her weapon, as it is difficult for the opponents to parry lunges and thrusts from Viviana. They cannot discern the length, width, reach, or trajectory of the blade, or even the fact that it is even a blade until they actually make contact with the weapon, which leaves them constantly on guard due to having to rely solely on Viviana's movement to decipher her attacks. They are confused both offensively and defensively, only allowing them to approximate the movements of the strikes and keep outside of her range to avoid being easily struck down.
Strike Air- Hammer of the Wind King (風王鉄槌(ストライク・エア): Acting like a hammer made out of wind, it creates a gale made out of super high pressure condensed air that is powerful enough to easily crush and blow away armies and fling a stone slab weighing several tons into the air as if it were nothing. It can also be used to accelerate her own body towards her opponent, allowing her to travel at three times her normal speed. By holding the sword in a backward wide stance, she releases the air and changes into a supersonic bullet that charges towards her opponent. If working together with another person, the partner can use the vacuum left behind by the attack to immediately rush in behind it by using the surge of air taken in by the vacuum as a slipstream. After releasing it, she can recall it by compressing the surrounding air to reform the barrier.
Zenou
[b]Zenou Appearance: In Zenou, Viviana loses her armor. However, Viviana feels that past the first release, she does not need to armor herself. Rather, Viviana's confidence merges with that of her Alter's the more she releases. In Zenou, Viviana has a "I can make her approve of me" attitude.
Zenou Abilities:
Veil of Petals: The main ability of Viviana's Zenou. Veil of Petals creates a three-layer wall in front of Viviana. The wall is slightly curved, giving it the appearance of about 1/3 of a sphere's top. The wall appears to be made of simple flower petals, but that is not what the wall is made of, per se. The wall is actually made of the petals, but they are held in place by Viviana's reiatsu. However, these things are not still. The petals are shifting up and down like a shredder. If someone were to stick their hand in it, it would be like shoving it into a wood chipper. Strong physical attacks can penetrate the wall, as well as strong energy attacks (Cero and higher). The barrier is immobile and lasts until it is destroyed or Viviana exits Zenou.
Fount of the Saint: One of the three auto-activated abilities for Viviana's Zenou. Viviana is nearly immune to attacks with a 'Divine,' 'Light (non-physical),' and 'Dark' attributes thanks to this ability. All damage that could be done by these attacks with attributes is lowered to 25%. However, there is a major drawback. The damage done by fire-type abilities is increased threefold. If an ability has fire and a light, divine, or dark attribute, then the attack does normal damage.
Fount of the Healer: One of the three auto-activated abilities for Viviana's Zenou. In Zenou, Viviana has enhanced healing. However, she does not gain self-healing. Essentially, Viviana's body is more accepting of outside healing, and thus the effects of the healing are enhanced twofold.
Fount of Chronos: One of the three auto-activated abilities for Viviana's Zenou. In Zenou, Viviana can not be forcibly moved from her location in a sense. Rather, Viviana can not be teleported to a different area as long as she is in Joushou. Reality Marbles are on a different type of ability, thus she can be absorbed into a Reality Marble.
Artillery Applause:
Thunderous Applause:
Kyuu Kyou
Kyuu Kyou Appearance:In Kyuu Kyou, Joyeuse is not the only thing that changes, but the true change of Joyeuse will not come about until her final move. The sword will disappear
Kyuu Kyou Abilities:
Aestus Domus Aurea--Aureas Theatrum Demens:
"Regnum Caelorum et Gehenna..."
(Kingdom of Heaven and Hell...)
"Meum caelo, restituit! Hoc est ubi lectus lucet!"
(My heaven, reconstructed! This is where the limelight shines!)
"Ecce gloria mea ... Audire intonat plausus ..."
(Behold my glory... Hear the thunderous applause...)
"Sede et laudare ... Mea Aurea Theatrum!"
(Sit down and praise... My Golden Theater!)
The Domus Aurea, the theater designed by Nero and constructed in Rome during her lifetime, given form and reproduced through reiatsu with a method extremely similar to that used by Reality Marbles. Rather than being a materialization of her inner world, it is High-Thamaturgy that only Nero, who believes without a doubt that before her status as an emperor she is "an artist who rivals Apollo" and "a chariot driver that rivals Sol", can perform. However, there are imitations of this grand theater roaming about. It is an "absolute imperial zone" which allows the owner to achieve their aspirations. When the theater was first opened for business, many of the spectators left midway through the performance, causing an outraged Nero to blockade all doorways once the second performance began and not let even one person leave until the curtains of the stage were down. As a result, escape - without Viviana's permission or cessastion of the theater - is virtually impossible. The main ability within Aestus Domus Aurea is Viviana's virtual endless supply of weaponry. Of course, the weapons are nothing past the time of Nero. The weapons are the props inside the theater, but given Nero's resources, there was a ready supply at any time. The weapons are thrown from the audience, as well as entrances to the underground storage. All of the weapons are exquisite and always in great condition, but they have no special abilities. Viviana can keep the theater standing for seven posts, and it has a once per thread usage.
Blossom of the Court:
The Final Act—Ensis Promissam Victoria: The final ability of Viviana's Kyuu Kyou. She does not use it until she truly feels that it is needed; that there is no backup, no retreat, no other way out. The main drawback of this ability is that the sheer strength of the blast will use all of Viviana's energy, even her residual reishi. After using the ability, the Duchess of the Lily will cease to exist after a single post. Her arms will break, her lungs will be empty, her heart will be slowed, her legs will collapse thanks to the power that it has released. Now that the bad part of the ability has been discussed, what is The Final Act? This is the manifestation of all that Viviana admires about Arturia. There is only one form it could take, which is the Holiest of Holy Swords, the Sword of Promised Victory•EXCALIBUR. Viviana can not keep the sword form of the shining sword for more than four posts. However, the shining sword is not just a physical copy of the original. Viviana's copy allows her to use Excalibur's main ability, a blast of energy that is exactly the same strength as the original's.
Alter Form
Alter Appearance:
Nero is a blond-haired young woman of short stature, who typically appears dressed in a military-styled red dress with a translucent portion in the front of the lower skirt. She claims the dress itself is not see-through, but rather she is letting people see.
Alter Personality:
Nero has a haughtiness that seems to more than compensate her short stature. She believes that anything she does must be perfect down to the smallest detail, such as a number of flawless victories to make her feel on top of the world after displaying perfection in her swordplay. She lived a luxurious lifestyle. She voices her disappointment over the scenery of the underwater arena, exclaiming that view it offers simply looks too much like the aquarium she owned during life. She has no direct interest in monetary gain, but admires the trappings of wealth and believes that treasure cannot be ignored.
Nero has a different definition for love as it was understood to her. According to her, her type of love was selfish. When she gave it, she expected something in return for it was not unconditional. To Nero, the more tender type of love was foreign and incomprehensible. She acknowledges that she has a different value system than the people. Nero's love burnt out offering and devoting everything. Her passion burned brightly, without regards to permanence. Nero loved her citizens as she thought was right. But, the love her citizens proffered was different, and the difference invited Nero's fall. Nero regrets that she could not share in the love that the masses embraced so naturally. Because she could not express her love in a way that can be understood, she did not receive love in return, "while this woman could love more than any other person, she could not experience the joy of being loved. Her lavish expressions of love were not enough to satisfy her people." The thought of dying without anyone loving her, could be one of the reasons why she hesitated pushing the dagger into her own throat.
She gives off the impression of a valiant young man in crimson, and she has a masculine bearing and tone of voice. She acknowledges that the reason she wears men's clothes is not that she is trying to project an imperial image, but because she actually enjoys wearing men's clothes. While her brusque attitude and gallant actions would imply that she values valor above all, she actually identifies her core as a maiden due to her adoration for beauty. She still does not allow gender to sway her preferences, and believes the true orientation of her soul to be half and half. Firmly routed in the middle of the two genders, she personally finds her ability to go either way admirable. She becomes attracted to the Protagonist regardless of their gender, and eventually even declares her love for them.
She believes that her true calling was that of an artist, truly thinking that she is the pinnacle of the arts and "an artist who rivals the god of arts Apollo." She boasts various accomplishments, such as working with marble, metallurgy, writing poems, and singing songs. She claims she mastered it all in the name of art, but there were not many people who appreciated or understood her artistic talents. She is aware of this fact, but simply suggests that her critics were not advanced enough to understand her artistic vision. Even if no one valued them, she was satisfied just having them made. Because she expressed her love for her people through her works. She declares that only through art she can express what she feels as she finds it difficult to do so in a normal way. She cherishes the theater the most, but she still proclaims to be an architect, songwriter, writer, painter, and fashionista. She does not like to be criticized, and will go to great lengths to protect her artistic integrity. She nearly killed her dear friend Tacitus in an outburst of rage when he criticized her literary works. Similarly, she is sensitive to praises and can be quite easy to manipulate when flattered. She would often perform for the masses at her Domus Aurea, but spectators would frequently leave midway through her performances. She was so enraged by this obvious act of disrespect that she ordered all entrances to the theater to be sealed, forcing the audience to sit through her entire performance until the final curtain fell. It was said that in her final hours she expressed her anguish that an artist such as herself had to die. Her main concern was that her act of suicide was punishing the public by having "such a magnificent artist disappear from this world."
She praises beauty above all, stating that "Beautiful young boys are good. Beautiful young girls are better. My singular preference is beauty!" She greatly expresses a desire to fight Greek Heroic Spirits like Atalante, because of their beauty. She has a certain fixation on Heracles, causing her to creating a legend after publicly strangling a lion with a rear naked choke in an attempt to emulate him by reenacting his exploits. While she was trying to prove her own might was as great as that of Heracles, her citizens were left unimpressed by the display and attempting to view Heracles as a rival causes Viviana to call her a megalomaniac.
Her characteristic anecdote is that she was an administrator for the citizens. She believes herself that she was a tyrannical emperor who injured the lives of many and met an ugly end. She does not deny that is the truth of her rule, but she is not ashamed of it either. While she has regrets about her life, she feels all that matters is that she was true to herself in everything. She is not one to cave to others' assessments, but she values the opinions of the Protagonist. She claims that even a poorly regarded emperor is still an emperor. Due to her legend, others refer to her as the "Whore of Babylon" as an insult.
She has great pride in herself and her actions. Even though she does not wish to give her name, simply being asked about it brings her great happiness. She claims that it is the pleasure of those with regal natures to dignify the queries of those around them with answers, and gets so caught up in the mood that she almost gives her birth name without even thinking about it. She feels that she must always speak with the air of an emperor, speaking according to her parents' expectations of her in childhood and how she was raised. She was never allowed to speak plainly since leaving childhood, and speaking casually would be denying what she has become, throwing away all that to which she has devoted herself. While doing so would allow her to regain her humanity, she speaks with certainty that such a day had never occurred and will never come.
Alter Powers:
Emperor's Perogative: A special ability that allows Alter Viviana to summon Aestus Domus Aurea • Aureas Theatrum Demens. However, even though it is her theater, Alter Viviana can only summon it for three posts because she does not have access to her full power. It does not have Blossom of the Court as a sub-ability. It has a once-per-thread usage.
Thrice-Setting Sun: An ability caused by Nero's special status as an Alter. Because Nero is not a true Alter, she can manifest before Viviana learns Kyuu Kyou. This is because Nero is the Nero. Yes, Nero Claudius Germanicus Augustus Caesar. She can also manifest outside of Viviana as a separate entity.
Past & Roleplay Sample
Character Background: Viviana is the last child of the Leonhardt family, the youngest of many sisters. She wasn't the spoiled one. She got everything handed down to her, the leftovers. In fact, Viviana was an accident, or as those behind closed doors say, a mistake. Because of some issues concerning her birth, her aunt took her to Earth to hide out while the problems were dealt with. The problems involved where Viviana was born, which was not at the castle. The Leonhardt family had ties with the Senatus Populusque Romanus, the Roman Senate. However, the ties were becoming less and less favorable with the Senate, so they had started to gain favorability with the emperors.
Viviana arrived in Rome during the last two years of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus's reign. Claudius's reign was cut short, and so his daughter, under the guise of a male, took over. Her name was Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. Viviana grew up watching Nero grow into power, and eventually got a seat in the Domus Aurea. Viviana loves the theater Nero had built. Viviana only met Nero once, where she ran to the now-adult Viviana upon being declared a public enemy.
When they met, Nero admitted that she had known about Viviana' appreciation of the Aestus Estus and asked for Viviana to commit suicide alongside herself, two artists to show what the Senate was doing. Viviana refused and Nero committed the act alone, dying in Viviana's arms. Soon after, Viviana was whisked back to the Sugiura lands amid being called Nero's consort. Viviana met back with her sisters, trying to gain favor with her eldest, Arturia.
