Advisor Hanako

There is no truth, there is evidence.
There is no trust, there is reason.
There is no pain, there is knowledge.
There is no gain, there is price.
There is no faith, there is only one answer.
The path I chose must be graceful, or I should be lost.

This is the mantra that I used to follow so diligently. However, it is in the past as it does not always work. In Early 2011, I began losing my strength in my mantra as I was introduced to one factor that was both a bane to justice and a bane to stagnation...

Emotional Content.

Professional

Greetings to all who read this thread with curiosity as to who I am and who my comrades are. For one thing, I am Hanako, one of three advisors of the staff as I am primarily responsible for dealing with emotional issues and social issues. I also make sure you would be going to the right people if you need something. An application checked? I'll direct you to an App-Checker. An unwanted intrusion or a cheater? I'll direct you to a moderator. As of now, I am trying to regain my composure after several...intense events that left me stressed. So if you are troubled, you can come to me, but if you need someone to help you confront someone, you would be asking the wrong advisor; Dai or Shirou will help you with that. Historically, I was once the Head Advisor, but because of the intense events, I stepped down and allowed my on-site husband, Shirou to take over as Head Advisor.

Personal

I was once a hardened justicar (in terms of attitude,) and some of that attitude is still in me, so expect me to appear dominating sometimes. When passed that, I am just a friendly person who cares about those around myself. When given the right circumstances, I can sound wise and supportive, but at times when given the WRONG circumstances, I can become aggressive and intimidating (being former hardened justicar, it happens.) At times (many times,) I end up with quirks like *Random Imagination* and punishing people by bonking them in the head with things like a paper fan or my favorite, a rolled up newspaper. Sometimes, these quirks would turn out very funny mainly I am just that bored.

Role-Player

My favorite subject! I am a decent role-player who can improvise with minimal details involved, but when I have to ask you, you're not putting in enough details. My style was primarily casual, so expect me to be consistently under five thousand characters in length, but when I'm getting serious, it would be possible that I can post as long as Frost in role-playing posts. I tend to do things differently, so expect me to eventually try something crazy and just play like you usually do because I no longer care if things are going as I expected or not, I just play along like you do. In and out of combat, I can be quite direct and sometimes leave out details, so ask me if you want details because what would be bad from me is me finding out that you're getting too fancy and get some details wrong; that is when I would come to you and talk to you about it.

Likes

First of all, the biggest plus I would give you is that you recognized your big downfall and actually worked hard to improve yourself without having a rubber band effect of snapping back to your old ways. I do like a sense of balance where there is some order, but with some excitements like Frost getting excited with his characters and a good session of Out-Of-Character-Role-Playing. Notably, I'm a sucker for true romance (the progression from acquaintances to friends and from friends to lovers,) and swashbuckling (something daring and purposeful like dueling for a woman's heart.) I am also a big fan of fantasy with rich story-line like Final Fantasy and Star Wars (may seem not good now, but back then, they are good.) I tend to get nostalgic with certain music relating to the listing below...
1. Game OST's (bonus if it is a good cover for Final Fantasy series)
2. Orchestrated
3. Classical (Primarily Frederick Chopin)
4. Rock (No... Just no to Jonas Brothers and Justin Bieber please.)
5. Light Opera

Dislikes

Notoriously, I can get serious with any form of role-playing, so sometimes when OOC-RP's have no point other than characters play the "LOL I'M TOO STRONG FOR YOU!" card, I just grumble and rant to myself before leaving the OOC-RP. I also do not like the cheap-smut where it is "I love you. I don't know~ Have sex. Okay!" and sniping (one hit, one kill without any theatrical taste.) I am not a big fan of horror flicks (think of SAW series,) or heavy action (think of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,) because they either lack story content or just bothers me greatly. The most disliked would be pop-culture music for character OST's (I'm looking at you, Chester of Linkin Park! Put em up! ,-.-,) because they are overused and cheap in my opinion, so if you have one of them as an OST for your character, expect me to not listen to that.
