[All-Star] The Gauntlet of Colin Washi
Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:00 pm
So the male was scared. That happened. But still : this place was foreign, as his cloak wished and whirled around him. His gaze looked around, almost as if afraid for a moment, but it calmed down. There was this sense of peace, as he looked up, his gaze caressing the sky with such a gentle and blessed look. He was happy to be alive, as he closed his swirling blue eyes, and breathed out. The blonde stands of his hair wavered in the wind, as he touched his blade, the thing slung on his back. It was a comfort thing, as the male just continued his walk. This area was massively dead : there was nothing here. Just a desert : like the way he talked maybe? The male shook his head, as the noon sun shone in the sky : he was coming here for a purpose, but he could not remember which. That must have been the aliens. There was concern at the lack of life around here, and he really hoped no soul was lost. If so, he may have to help. His quest was of no particular goal : so helping someone may be useful. He wished he had a steady companion : just so that something broke the silence. But as always, there was the saying of watch what you wish for. Because you might just get it. |

Colin Washi could only look out around him, as suddenly he felt a disturbance. Nearby, there was someone; he wasn't sure who, but there was definitely an opponent nearby. He stopped floating in the air, feeling as he fell to the ground. He felt... the sand. I am too used... FAR TOO USED... to this place... He thought as he looked around himself, zooming in with his cyber eyes as he saw the outline of a man. He vanished, as suddenly he appeared before the one he had spotted.
"Greetings! My name is Colin Washi; Co-Head of the Vizard Corps, the Eaglegod. I suppose you're around here to train then? If you would like, I could help you. Just as long as you think you can keep up!" He said, a bright smile on his face as he looked at the man. Wow. Weird get up. Although, I like all the green. Still... a little bit weird. Colin was here on orders to represent the Vizard Corps for Zin; but he wasn't exactly sure how he was going to go about fighting people he didn't even know. So, he had just decided to meet up with people and see if they wanted to challenge him. Thus leading to his current position standing before this man. This man with his...
Colin reached his right arm back, gripping the brim of his hat as he brought it up, and dropped it on top of his skull. There. Right where it belongs. Now, let's see what this fellow can do, eh? He thought to himself, fully going to allow Link to do whatever he wanted in this first round. However, the edge of his mouth rose in a small smile as he reconfirmed his own thoughts. Not that i won't react, of course...

Another one!? Link fell over with a small noise, and just got up again. He should be getting used to it, as the male dusted off his clothes. At the sudden rush of information, the blonde haired male seemed confused, and then frownded. Taking out a cellphone, he figured the best way would be to talk to the man via text. Within seconds, the male had a flurry of actions on his phone, those fingers moving without warning. With furious movements, the male held up the screen, the words reflecting back at the blonde haired male. And within that movement, he dislodged his hat back to it's sliding position. ''Hi there! I'm Link, pleased to meet you! I was just a bit lonely over here that's all. Co-head of the Vizard Corps? You must be really strong then : I'm just kind of weak in all honesty. But yeah, I'm Link, a Sugiura! Pleased to meet you! I probably already said that : but I don't have a fancy title like you do. I have to get stronger you know. I blame the aliens for stemming my growth. But no seriously, you'll help me train? That'd be really cool! Do you know much about swords?'' The male was staring, very calmly at the person. But inside was a nearly hyper active little kid, grinning widely at the male. Inside, Link was beyond excited! He might even learn something from all of this, and that would be amazing! |

Colin could not believe his eyes. This kid just displayed a pohone for him. Colin could barely make out the text, as his cybernetic eyes translated the coding that made up the phone first. After a moment, he finally sighed. "I sense many strong power levels ahead, Link. Would you mind if we make our contest now so that we may be on our merry ways? I don't wish to trouble you any longer than I must... but I can feel one power in particular that I have to catch up to." He explained, looking forwards into the zone as he gripped his blade, drawing it firmly out of its sheathe.
"Come at me from any angle. Just remember, if my blade should happen to find you, I will cut you. How about this? The first one to make a cut wins. That way we can settle this quickly and I won't have to hurt you very badly... but we will also make sure to follow the criteria of this All-Star Battle. So then, when you feel prepared, come at me, young swordsman!" He said firmly, staring Link down and awaiting for him to attack, glad that the formalities were out of the way and they could get down to business.
