The Kiyoraka

The Kiyoraka
The Kiyoraka are a clan of gifted humans : their main areas are exorcisms. Simply put, these humans are descendants of those that were taught techniques by a wandering monk. They are also of mixed bloods, which would explain their strong powers : that blood is now mixed to a point that these humans are more then human, but still human. There are several branches to this clan, and there is a ''throwback'' per branch : each branch was started by one ancestor, and the throwback is the one that is said to be their literal reincarnation. More branches may be added.

The Yumi Branch
This branch specializes in energy, such as manipulating it and draining it. Most of the clan was wiped out in a sudden invasion of it's outpost, leaving less then a handful of survivors. They seem to be eerily similar to Quincies with their powers.

The NASU
Neo-Absolution Servant Unit, or NASU for short, are the support for the branches of the Kiyoraka. These are other races, or humans, that have gone through the Program. This program re-wires them to fit a certain objective : all Servants, as they are called, have given their permission willingly and knowing of all costs, before entering the program. Each potential servant is placed through a screening process and is given a class according to their abilities.

The NASU program easily takes the user's natural capabilities and adds onto them. This allows the character to have an extra section on their app, for the NASU system : this system has no skill sheets, as it is ruled by other skill sheets. It is also simply an added ability outside of the user's race, much like KJ's PhantomTech : however, NASU is not as widely distributed. The only condition of NASU is that the Servant must find a Human Master to protect : to link themselves to other races is impossible, due to the very nature of the abilities. On the reserve, a Human cannot become a NASU because of that same reason.

NASU abilities are born out of a Servant's class, but also their bond to their Master. The more a Servant feels like they want to protect their master, the more the Servant discovers their powers. This makes the Servant highly adaptable, forming powers specifically around the master outside of their own race capabilities. Even more so, Servants have indestructible bodies : their very forms are like spirits themselves, always reforming to the Master, even should mortal blows be dealt. However, a mortal blow keeps the servant out of the reminder of the thread.

The downside of this, is that the Servant's race abilities, and their powers, is cut by half. So compared to a regular of their race, their abilities are not as strong : hence why Servants seek Masters, since their power will mostly come out of their bond. Should a Servant wish to retract their services, the body in which the Servant was originally in, is safe kept by the Kiyoraka for the Servant's return and release. However, should they choose this path, they will be memory wiped as well, as the memories of their body will not contain the memories formed by their ulterior form. Any attempt to do so has resulted in death of the Servant. This means, should they choose to sever their contact, their powers gained through bonds are also erased, returning them to their original form before they entered the program. However, some Servants have shown lingering feelings for their Masters even when they quit the NASU program, as feelings are beyond physical boundaries.

However, when a Servant loses their master, or remain without one, they are reliant only on their race skills, and these are in full form until they form a contract : on the down side, they are not offered the bonuses of their Class. The only thing that remains is the fact that they can be endlessly regenerated and reput out into the world as long as the body is still intact.

Formation of a Servant
A servant can be of any race or background, except for human. From there, the Kiyoraka evaluate the person, and then link them to a historical figure : mythical, or not, this figure will suit the person aptly. From there, they will reconfigure the Servant's actual system : by putting their real bodies to sleep, they shape the subconscious and projected self with a Class, abilities and heroic identity. The Heroic Identity is the root of the servant's abilities, and Last Veil. Some identities can be misleading, as several mythologies speak of it, however, some are clear cut as day. Some Heroic identities can have more then one class and therefore be duplicated. In the end, the willing Servant's natural abilities help differ this. There are several servants of a class : on majority, most of them are referred by class name, as if their identity is found, knowledge can be found to counter their style.

The case where a Servant with a Heroic Identity and then meet the actual spirit of said Identity has not happened yet, but it is theorized that said spirit could easily teach the Identity useful data.

How to make a Contract
To make a Contract with a NASU Servant and obtain the three Seals that give an absolute order, one must make a deal with the Servant. First, the aptitudes must be matching : as in Servant and Master must be in agreement with each other. Once that is done, the Master puts forth a wish or goal they wish to accomplish with the help of the servant : once that is done, the Servant may proceed to make a bond. That is the inital bond : once the bond has been made, the two have 48 hours in order to complete the ritual. The ritual differs from Servant to Servant, but it always involves the Master in some way. Once complete, the Servant and Master are now bonded.

Last Veil
This is a Servant's most signature ability. It can be anything : from an item to a skill, it represents the Servant fully. In general, each servant has only one : but they can develop more depending on circumstances, such as their real identity making surface, or meeting the actual Identity they are imitating, etc. The Last Veil is extremely powerful : however, each is customizable and as unique as the last.
