- Reasons For Upgrading: Well, since he's been with the "big boys" (ie. Shadin, Zin, Iori, ect) for a lot of his life, having been a member of the Karakura Defenders back during the big fights, and the fact that he hasn't been slacking off. Also the fact that he's gotten his ass kicked by Iori and lived to tell the tale.
