[Hinawa Kagami]

It was a rather sunny day. Some birds where chirping in the trees around a crystal clear lake in the Rukongai... even for normal souls, this was a beautiful day. But not for one certain Shinigami. Sighing heavily once more, a small figure was sitting on the small 'beach' of this lake, seemingly staring out on the water. But should you take a look at her eyes, one could easily see that they were not focused on anything - just staring into nothing, like the ones of a dead person. Whatever happened to this girl was unknown for anyone, but it seemed terrible.
Especially towards such a cute little girl. But actually, this only seemed this way to Shinigami and souls now knowing her. This blonde, sad girl was noone else but Hinawa Kagami, also known as the shadow of Captain Redwood from the 9th Division - an extremely strong Shinigami for seated Officer levels, still quite good when compared to your regular Vice-Captain... but compared to REALLY strong Shinigami, she was nothing. But all of that did not matter. Only one thing mattered... Hinawa lost. Against him, one of the men she despised the most.
What she lost? The game of love. April-sama would never love Hinawa... this was now clear. Completely clear. This nice little crush over the last 400 years had been for nothing... she was nothing more than a friend. Or was she even a friend and not just an underling that listened to everything? Slowly, the girl began to doubt herself. Hopefully, HE would be here soon, before Kagami decided to go drown herself in the lake. HE was the only man she did not despise at all, unlike him. HE was a man who had served the girl out of free will over nearly 400 years. Hinawa had called him out here today.
HE was... Kengo, the 'servant of the ice princess', how he was often called behind closed doors by other division members.

~Kengo~

As footsteps could be heard through the rukongai area, they were quite fast as a young shinigami Boy who was quite small, around the same height as his fellow division officer. Hinawa Kagami, the one that Kengo our Blonde haired was looking for as he was called by her. He was worried about her as always. After all he always wanted his "Queen" to be happy, no matter what the case was. He was always there to serve her or be her shoulder to lean on if someone ever gave her mouth or disrespected her. If they did he would gladly slit their throat right in front of her, if she wished it of course. But today scared him a little, he was worried about hinawa and her well being. From What he heard she was heart broken after knowing about the budding relationship of Hisagi and April. He didn't like hisagi much either, he believed that April could do much better and only hinawa-sama deserved her. Though secretly, he actually loved Hinawa, but he knew about her infatuation with April and just decided that he'd try his best to make her happy instead of try to be with her. At least that's how he always felt.

Honestly he was also angry as well, as he did not ever like to hear sadness or anything coming from Her and if anyone caused it, he'd be right at there door ready to bash their head in. He sighed as he continued walking and stopped to see her at the beach, he walked over slowly as he went to sit down by her at the beach side of the lake. part of him wanted to hug her tightly to make her happy, but he was to be a loyal servant and sit down patiently, he was more worried about her feelings and what he could do. his anger flared up a bit more as he looked to see her expression, it wasn't that of any happiness or even mischief, but sadness and emptiness, Damn that hisagi! he wanted to give him a piece of his mind. but he also knew that such a thing would burden him and his friendship with April. who he also viewed as a good friend because of her good attitude towards everyone, she was one of the non-fake people around he had ever met in his life and he truly viewed her as a very good friend above all. so in a nutshell he simply had to calm himself.

Because, part of him really wanted to rip Hisagi a new one and rip out every single part of his spine, muscles, tissue and have his blood drip in a fashion, which his queen would enjoy. However, now was the time to put anger aside and care for her the best way he could. Whatever she needed at this moment he would do it right now without question, as long as it was to see her smile and her's only. you could say he was kind of like his brother, but instead of fighting for everyone's smile's, he simply wanted t fight for this girl's smile. she was such a cute little devil, she looked cute from appearance but she could also be a rumble rouser if you decided to go and piss her off. That was the thing he loved about her most, maybe he had some kind of weird Tsundere complex, or maybe he was just plain head over heel's for her. he was truly obsessed in a way, if you viewed some of the signs.

Like the first time he came to the seiretei and found her, her dyed his hair and got blue contacts to look exactly like her, originally having brown hair and regular black eye's from birth and the beginning of time in rukongai. he also followed her around and kept asking for her to let him serve her, after some time of asking, she accepted him. From that day he did his best to attend to anything she needed, if it was extra paper work he would stay up to all times of the night. If it was handling some thugs or tried to cop a feel on her, he'd go in first before she even killed them and kill them right in front of her in a fiery passion. There wasn't one thing he wouldn't do for her, after all this woman saved his soul, from him becoming a hollow himself and from that time he was forever indebted to her, and till this day he still is and always be. He wanted to be with her forever and always whether it was her servant, or if he was ever that lucky, a Lover.

Right now, though it was the time to make sure he didn't lose her to this rising depression, as he moved his hand's through the water a bit while looking back up at her, he didn't want to get really close, just yet, unless she wished it of course. he just spoke peacefully and looked towards those dead, blue eye's of her's. "Hinawa-sama, i have arrived, if i was late, my apologies. Are you alright or is there a certain order you need me to complete?" he asked once again. he then moved over to her a bit faster and held her hand a bit. "if there is something else, just tell me...seeing you like this makes...me hate him....even more... but i don't wanna see you sad like this" he was nervous, was he going to be attacked or would she tell him the answer to her problems. It was up to time and fate it's self to answer these questions.

[Hinawa Kagami]

So he finally arrived. The one person who was always there when the blonde needed something, her 'servant'... For a short moment, her eyes looked up to him, still cold and dead, before he spoke his firsts words.
"You're late." Normally, a fist to the stomach would follow, but today, she just couldn't bother to stand up. Too much seemed to have died within Hinawa, it was as if something had hollowed out the girl. No reaction could be seen till Kengo actually took action and grabbed her hand. Normally a really offensive move, but maybe the only thing able to wake up the Kagami girl. Slowly, her yes began to look alive once more... it was as if someone in a trance was slowly awakening...
Like in slow-motion, a single tear ran down her cheek, before Hinawa, with slight force, pulled Kengo down besides her and grabbed him tightly, sobbing and trembling. In all the years he served under her, never had he seen the ice Queen in such a state before - a helpless state. It took quite some time till she actually spoke again, nearly into the ear of Kengo who she still held tightly.
"I'm a... terrible person, Kengo..." She whispered with the voice of a ghost. "It should be alright... after all, she is happy... isn't that what I promised? To make her happy? And now... still... I feel like it is just wrong... in the end, I even betray myself and my own feelings..." Trembling once more, her fingers nearly clawed themselves into Kengos back.
"All these years... what have I done in all this time? I lied to myself... April with someone like me? A fangirl? Yeah, right... I chased after a dream like a little kid... and now, everything is shattered... I am selfish, evil, and terrible... Even now, I feel hate inside of me, even though I should be happy April is happy... tell me Kengo... you've always been by my side, always understood me..." Hinawas grip around Kengo was getting a bit weaker, and she now brought her head infront of his again, with the teary eyes of a girl.
"Why... why do you put up with someone like me...?" it was actually a serious question. At this one moment, Hinawa could clearly see the last 400 years... she had been a bitch towards the 9th Division and other Shinigami, and only cared about April-'sama'. When kengo offered to serve her, Hinawa simply accepted out of annoyance - never did she thank him even once for all he did. In the end, she was a devil, and a really evil one at that...

~Kengo~

Kengo simply awaited for her expression as he looked at her, Hoping that maybe something would cheer her up. he didn't like seeing his queen like this ever, it broke his heart and pained him to see her with such a dead expression. He didn't care if she just came out of the blue and punched him right now and yelled at him for holding her hand or anything. He just wanted the Hinawa he always knew and always served back. the one who would always scold him for any, or hit him and slam him for being late, anything was good right now. Any sign, to show him she was still alright and not gone to her sadness. He knew Hinawa always wanted to do her best to make April happy and always follow her every orders. Like he always wanted to follow her own, no matter how much she scolded him or might of got on him about some things, he still followed her with no second thought to his own well being. he was literally a fool for her, praising her every second of the day.

Her smiles and Praise to him for carrying out an order was like a delicious sort of drug to him, he couldn't get enough of it. That's why, he was also hurt seeing her like this, he didn't really know what to do, everything was confusing. he didn't know the right words to say to make her happy, he wasn't like his brother in any shape of form, His brother loved to see people smile no matter what. Kengo wasn't good at doing that kind of thing, at least to his keen knowledge of course. this depression was something kengo knew all too well, it was something he felt from the beginning after watching hinawa and how she felt with April, even hearing some thoughts from hinawa of how she felt for the Pink haired sweet as cotton candy girl. Some of it killed him, no doubt. But, he was a strong minded person like his brother and never gave up on thing's no matter how hard the out come may have seemed, but in a minute or two, he was about to face the hardest challenge in his life. In just a few minutes....

Out of nowhere, from holding the young girl's hand. Kengo felt arms being wrapped around his own slender and small body. What!?; What was this feeling? Kengo flinched a bit, was he really just feeling this girl hugging him, for the first time out of the long Hundred year's he knew her. He never expected a hug from her, just some small praise from doing the deeds. he wanted to wrap her up in his arms and hold her and never let go, however he had too much of a nervous attitude, hell, his heart was practically beating it's self back and forth, his breathing got a bit heavy and you could see a little trickle of sweat fall from his head, he was nervous, scared, Mind Blown, among many other emotions. He, however would not for see the next few action's being made after this hug, he felt her getting a bit more closer, and with that his heart beat just a little bit faster, Boy he really hoped he wasn't having a heart attack, or maybe this was how it felt to be this close to a crush, who knows. But it didn't end hear oh not at all.

The next action surprised him, once again and made his heart rate go up a bit more, he felt the nails of her go a bit deep into his back, which made him a bit scared, was he to be attacked? he surely would have expected it. But, that was far from the action this girl performed, she was now starting to do something, that almost no one had seen before. Spill her problem's out too. But he didn't feel worthy, him of all people? he just thought of himself as her simple servant, nothing more. someone to be her own little crazy fan-boy who performed every action as he was told. Though he didn't mind being confided in, he felt very more important to her, he smiled a bit, but was saddened again to see her cry. she was expressing herself for the first time. He could understand how it was, for her to be shattered and heart broken, in fact if it wasn't to upset April, he would gladly go and kick hisagi's ass to kingdom come, but right now Hinawa was and has always been his top priority. he never did think bad of Hinawa for not thanking him for anything he did for her, whether it meant sacrificing his life or anything pertaining to such a matter. he simply wanted her approval and admiration and tried daily to make her happy and satisfy her. sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. But then she had hit him with that golden question.

"why do you put up with someone like me?"; this surprised him, he never expected to be stuck in such a corner, he was scared to tell her that the main reason for it all, was that he loved her. It was obvious to almost anyone who knew kengo that he was literally head over heels for the equally petite tsundere. But never once did he ever wish to confess that, in fear of getting a punch to the face and a broken heart. but now he was cornered, he couldn't answer her with a stupid question...like, oh i just wanted too, or because your just that awesome, he wanted to tell her something legit...and his mind was running with so many thoughts That it was hard to actually think of something to brush a question off like that. "u-um....uhhh...i" his mouth was a bit dry, his words stumbling back and forth, he didn't have a clue in a world to express what he wanted to say to her, but something told him this was his only chance. His only chance to tell her how he really felt, boy was his mind in shambles. he had to pull up enough bravery to tell the girl of his dreams, and the one who saved his life how he really felt, out of all the hand to hand and physical battles he had fought. he knew that emotional battles were the hardest to over come. no matter how you turned your way of thinking around it.

So, what was he to do? Confess or drive her off with a stupid and dumb question, For the first time ever, he imagined what his brother would do in this kind of situation. he would probably be brave and confess, something Kengo always had a hard time doing. he was the kind of person who liek Hinawa kept his feelings locked up. though except for when he was around her, his feelings were always out there, but he never expressed it verbally. he was pulled down by her and near her this close, The boy needed some idea to express it to her, and he was starting to come to the conclusion that he had to confess, taking a small gulp he let his arms hold her a bit tightly as he came closer to her.

He took a deep breath and then he began to stutter while speaking, "The re re reason....why...i... ha...ve...always served...you and....been around you....is....b...because...i....i....." his eyes looked at her with some fear a bit, but he had to gain the composure, "i....love you..." those three words were said compassionately, but with some fear as he didn't know what to expect, but he continued on about why. "I'm your biggest fan, no matter how much you hung around April my idea was to always see you happy over my own self...you were the one who was there for me when my soul was nearly about to be taken over and made for a hollow meal delight. But you came to my rescue, your the only one who hasn't judged me for anything...that's why it hurt's for me to see you like this, i am always here for you....because losing you would devastate me....to be honest your the most important person in my life, Hinawa kagami; i truly love you..." he said as he looked back with a fearing expression, and a heart beating as fast as a stampede of bulls. would his heart be crushed? would she be surprised? there were so many questions, but only the next action would answer them.

[Hinawa Kagami]

It was only maybe one minute, or two, in which Kengos thoughts were racing around in his head. But these two minutes were the worst ones in the whole life of Hinawa Kagami... All these bottled up emotions made themselves room now, and waited for a reply. Nearly anything would be fine by her, ANYTHING that pointed out that she was not just a demon in the form of a cute Shinigami... Even if he only served because he was afraid of his 'Queen', Hinawa would've accepted that. As long as she got ANY response, she could maybe go on... But what he finally said should literally blow away her mind.

Suddenly, he tightened the hug around her - something she would've never expected of him, and wouldn't have permitted normally. But now, she was in a regretful state, and was the one who jumped on him in the first place. Well, normally, even that wouldn't be an excuse for him returning that, but the circumstances had changed quite a bit this day. No 9th Division around, no April, no Hisagi. They where all alone on the shores of this crystal clear lake. Maybe because his grip tightened, she noticed her nails nearly buried in his back, and softened up herself, not clawing herself into him, but holding him - she needed something to hold onto, or she would break. Hinawa Kagami seemed strong, cold and cunning to others, with a short temper. But in the end, she didn't have the willpower of Kengo, or his brother that he told her about once - he was some kind of hero.

But it was not this tight hug that blew her mind away. It where those three words, coming out after a stutter that awakened her slightly tsundere attitude a bit... well, before the three words were spoken, that is. Three words that sometimes were the hardest words of them all... Words that could change lifes, break or heal hearts.
This confession brought some new tears to Hinawas eyes. Why? Only because she saved his soul? Was she really special enough to be loved by someone? How much did every action of the Shinigami girl hurt her servant in truth? Not the beatings, but the words... Like on the day when she finally accepted him as her servant.
He had fought a Shinigami Captain simply to prove himself - lying in the dirt, an annyoed Hinawa stood above him, and helped him stand up for the first and only time so far. 'Well alright, if you want it that badly, I'll allow you to serve me. But don't get in my way of getting closer to April-sama, or I will end you.' These exact words... branded into both of their memories for sure. He basicially got turned down multiple times before even having one chance of expressing his feelings... all of this just made it clearer. Hinawa had been chasing a dream, unable to see what was around her, till it was too late.
"Kengo, you idiot..." With a played annoyed sigh, she suddenly rested her head against his chest. "Falling in love with something like me... but I guess I'm the bigger idiot..." Why was her heart suddenly beating to fast? This hug that first was there to give her stability, was now conforming her completely... she felt save. A feeling she never had before, unless she was around April. it came with being a chased 'ice devil' as a human and a despised ass of a Shinigami when dead, but it also was her own fault for being so repulsive to anyone...
"Kengo, I... thank you... For everything..." She whispered, with a soft voice normally only April got to hear, when they where alone. She hurt him so much over the past hundreds of years... yet he stayed. Some would call him an idiot. Maybe everyone would - but most importantly... he was HER idiot. Hinawas personal little idiot with a heart out of gold - black gold, maybe, but still gold.
Resting her head against his chest, Hinawa could actually hear his heartbeat... fast and ravaging. She was sure her own heart was beating no slower... almost as if in synchronity.
If she remembered correctly... didn't he actually dye his hair? She thought to remember him with brown hair once... for a brief moment... the time where she rescued his soul? Maybe. But why now? Before, she had been unable to remember that event clearly... once, Kengo had been one of many souls saved during regular Shinigami duty. But now, he was a Shinigami... only for her. Looking up to him once more from below, the still slightly teary eyes of Hinawa... they had a happy glance in them. And life, that once again returned to her senses. If you didn't know how hard of a shell she normally had, you would think she was only a highschool student, and not a diehard Shinigami that could beat the shit out of you.

[Kamen Ride: M-M-Music Change!]

Could he actually hear her heartbeat? It wouldn't surprise the Kagami, after all, it seemingly was pounding like a gigantic drum. What was she going to do now? Her dream of April had exploded like a bomb, faded into nothingness. And for the first time, she looked at Kengo as the person he was... a person obsessed with her, not just for the heck of it. Never was a thought wasted on why he was following her before, because of her own obsession with the person who saved her in the past. Maybe this was what people called 'the irony of fate' - she chased after the woman saving her, and he was chasing the girl that saved him. Maybe there was a girl out there chasing HIM for rescuing her soul? Well, that would be too bad for the girl. Because this little circle of fate - if it even existed - would now be broken forever...
"Hey... can I..." Hinawa had trouble speaking while looking into these blue, beautiful eyes. If you didn't know any better, you could think both where mirror images of each other - a strange mirror, but still a mirror. "Can I be... selfish... one more time...?" Hugging him as tightly as she could - WITHOUT hurting him, that was, she had enough strength to accidentally snap him in half - she brought her own face a bit closer to his, still looking up. These arms kept her secure... and they had done this before, but invisible. It was good that he finally had the courage to speak up - otherwise, maybe everything would've gone back to 'normal', just with a more bitter and cruel Hinawa.
"Please hold me... and... and n-never let go again, Kengo... You will be here for me, right...? Be-becau... because I... I like, I... love you..." Words she could've never spoken to April. Why? Because... they would've been a lie. There was a difference... a difference between ideolisim of someone... and a real crush or love. Seeing what he did for her, thewed away all ice around her heart, for the first real time in her life. Kengo was not only a fierce warrior of the flames, but also the one who held the warm heart of fire that rescued her...

~Kengo~

Happy, Sad, Proud, surprised, and most of all it was mostly happy. The feelings that this young Blonde boy was feeling, What was this feeling exactly in that split moment, of thinking about his brother and what he would do in this situation, he started to come to realize what he truly meant all those year's, he looked up over in the sky, as tears began to soak in his cheek's. as he spoke inside his mind.... "Brother, i always wondered why you always acted so selflessly for others, just to make them happy, this happiness it feels....amazing...i finally...know what you mean by happiness..." He said as he began to see an apparition of his brother in the sky, it was like he had finally realized something, being in this moment with Hinawa, Love...something he never seemed to embrace when he was a human, No matter how much Yuusuke tried to show him. He was just a bit of a fool, he never knew why his brother wanted to see everyone happy and smiling, but now after this moment with hinawa he could finally open his eyes to true happiness. It felt so amazing...this feeling of being by someone's side and being that shining example to them.

He Smiled as the apparition of his brother he saw, Put his thumbs up into the sky and spoke to him in his mind.... "Now you may Realize the reason why i wanted to make you Smile Nii-san, Treat her well and prosperous and continue to live your life with a smile instead of a frown..." it then disappeared in a flash, a happy kengo smiled as he nodded, he felt like a bit of a fool, for not grasping onto the concept earlier, but he now knew how much it felt to be in love, but mostly to be happy again and find a purpose in life. With her, the one girl that made him feel important in life and wanted to be with no one else but him. He was glad and happy that his wishes weren't rejected, because now he would be a bit changed from this, maybe act a little like his brother, but instead of protecting everyone's smile's, he'd only try to protect the smiles of his main friends, knowing that such a thing was a hard feet...he was a bit smarter in that sense of his brother, but it was all good, he finally had the girl of his life cuddled up near him. Like Fate had chosen for him to be happy this time around.

"Hinawa, i'm so happy to be with you....Heh...i must look like a loser with these tears, but i am glad to have you return my feelings back and i promise that i'll do my best to protect your smile" he said as he smiled and grabbed onto her hand, he wiped the tears from his eyes and smiled back at her he then, speaking once again. "Because you know, your smile is pretty wonderful" he said, it was both out of flattery and truth. Smiling as he looked around just to make sure no one was around he smiled and then decided to pick her up, as he looked at the water not one of his favorite places to jump into, but for her he decided he wanted to liven her day up....while holding onto her, if she allowed him too of course. he smiled as he ran towards the lake and jumped inside the cold water, it felt cold on his skin but he didn't mind it that much, as he then smiled back at Hinawa, he was going to do his best to make her happy every day, no matter what anyone said he would still be the same Kengo, just with a bit of a more happier side then his usual dick-ish attitude may have been in the post, taking one more smile back at her he held the hand of the female in the water and looked out into the wonderful bright sun, the two helped each other in their own way, Kengo melted the ice from hinawa's cold heart, and she helped remove the Dark flame infested inside of him. there was only smiles and laughs, for the next chapter's of these two.

[Hinawa Kagami]

Oh my... THIS was new, indeed. Flattery - Hinawa heard something like that before. In just a second, she was as bright red as if she had a major sunburn. Never before had someone dared to say something like this, not even Kengo before he confessed what he truely felt - and if Hinawa was honest to herself, she knew that she would've hit him before for anything of this sort anyways. Just like Kengo was slowly starting to finally understand his brother in the human world - and picking her up, which made the girl let out a slight squeal - her heart made the last goodbyes to her living dream of the past 400 years. And right after that, she wished she could die for letting out something as girly as a squealing sound - but nobody ever cared to pick her up before. Clinging to Kengo, he didn't have any problem of holding his 'Queen', he was way stronger than his body looked.

//Sayonara, you long-lasting dream...// Hinawa whispered in her mind only. Her Zanpakuto Spirit, Chi, was giggling like a schoolgirl watching someone else kiss - she could be slightly annoying at times indeed. Anyone but Kengo would've moved on in over 300 years of not getting any positive response from the girl he loved... but well, maybe Kengo was stubborn, or an idiot. But that didn't matter much for her. As the 'boy' jumped into the water with Hinawa in his arms, she let out a slight giggle - it was as if someone had taken the old Hinawa, stuffed her into a black box and placed a new one out here. That she could still be one evil little devil would soon be obvious when there were actually people around, but here, when she was alone with a person she felt such a strong bond with now - why shouldn't she be nice for once?

The water was slightly cold, but that was nothing that could phaze the girl. After all, she had an ice-elemental Zanpakuto, and knew how to deal with the cold without real problems. In fact, she liked things a bit cold... even more now when she had someone to finally cuddle up to to warm up afterwards. The only annoying thing would be to get their Kimonos to dry again, which were now soaked wet. But that was not really important right now... Still holding Kengos hand, a now tear-free Hinawa was looking into his eyes.
"I don't care of you are a loser, or an idiot... as long as you are MY loser." Hinawa said with a slight chuckle, grabbing his hand a bit tighter... before leaning over in the water to him, with a wide, warm smile and a still existing blush. All in all, she nearly looked like an angel in that moment... the moment when she gave Kengo a kiss, only a short, shy one on the lips. It wasn't hard to understand who was going to be the commanding and demanding force of the two, but it still was clearly different from the servant and queen relationship before - because she now actually thought about him and about his feelings. "My Fire King..." Wasn't it only fitting that the 'Ice Queen' of Squad 9 now had found her own King with the directly opposite element? Maybe fate existed, maybe it didn't. But at the moment, Hinawa didn't give two damns about that, as long as she could be here, floating in this slightly cold water, together with him. He was no 'perfect hero' who was fighting for everyones smiles, but that was good in it's own way. After all, Hinawa Kagami was quite the demanding and selfish, traits as old as humanity. Neither the Ice Queen nor the Fire King where perfect persons - and that was alright.

~Kengo~

Life was finally perfect for the Young boy with the element of the flame, all he ever dreamed for was right in front of him. Maybe this life thing wasn't so bad that Kengo once thought it use to be, after all he got maybe one of the most tough nosed and ice cold girls in soul society to finally be his one and only. something that over these long 400 years he always thought would be impossible. Hell most kept calling him a big idiot for always serving her or always coming to her aid for almost everything. Even if she was wrong, or not. He was always there; Whenever she needed him to be and needed him to be at her beck and call. he was glad he was so stubborn back then, or else this probably would've been a dream about what's lost and what's gained. He wanted to continue days like these in the secret, Since people loved to gossip he would probably still beat people's face's in or would try to say that Hinawa cooled down and she wasn't her tough self that most people knew her by or that the cold bitch turned all googly. He wasn't going to stand for that. He may have had a new out look on life but Kengo still had some selfless traits and some anger issues about him that when he was really angry and pumped most normal shinigami wouldn't even want to come near him. He was going to make sure that no one dented her name or talked bad about her as he always did.

Kengo could not help but be protective of the cute Ice queen. he was head over heels for her from the minute she saved his life up till now. He just wanted to continue to hold her in this embrace until the night came or maybe, give her some present of the sorts. he didn't know quite what to do in a relationship yet but he could definitely learn later on. Kengo took some time to really take everything in, he couldn't believe that he finally got to be with her, but he knew one thing, he wouldn't do anything to ruin this or else he'd be devastated and probably have an angry Hinawa with a ice blade at his throat. He really wondered why he just jumped out into the water out of nowhere, Maybe he was acquiring his brothers silly and hyperactive attitude. He chuckled a bit and smiled at the thought he no longer looked at his brother with a hateful attitude. He had to be happy now not just for everyone but mostly Hinawa. Though he would wonder how people would react to seeing them both soaked in their kimonos while walking back. He'd definitely have to think of something to warm them up fast or else they'd both have to have a good Soul society blood fest rage, after cutting up any shinigamis who tried to make funny stories or rumors. Even though Kengo didn't mind the relationship or hiding it or not. He was just happy to even be near her like this in her presence. He truly looked up to the woman in a high regard.

But here was a good something he didn't expect, while holding the petite shinigami near him. She held his hand tighter, he slender fingers enveloping over his own, most could say or even wonder that they were spitting images of each other in both body and eyes and hair and everything. Though Kengo actually dyed his hair and kept it that way for most of the years throughout. his eyes went towards her blue orbs and he blinked for a second, oblivious to the action that was approaching next. Then in the blink of an eye she gave him a quick kiss, like a peck of the sorts. He stuttered and shivered a bit, not from the cold. He was use to that if he pissed off Hinawa and got a nice ice blade on the back side or another part of his body. He didn't expect that in the moment. A kiss! oh he must have looked like a tomato with how much his face was turning red it was if he had experienced a second of heaven. those lips had a nice feel to them as well, a bit cold with a hint of warm. He was flabbergasted with mouth agape and just about anything else one could think of from someone who just had their first kiss from their 300 year crush. his heart would warm up with this, "My Fire King" Wow, she had called him King? was he dreaming? if so he probably would've wished that this dream would last forever and he could never wake up.

he was just honestly as happy to be her loyal servant but his mind was rushing and going through so many turns that he almost felt like fainting. he held her closely to him. so she wouldn't worry about anything and spoke back to her as he held her. "My Ice Queen, the world is ours and as long as we're together nothing will get in our way" he said with a smile and he meant it, as long as he was by her side as he had already told her so many year's ago, he'd never let anyone lay a single finger on her and get away with it. it had manifested into his nature to be protective of this woman, most probably would view him as insane for liking someone of her type. But Hey, once you actually got to cut off the edges and indulge yourself into someone there true colors would show eventually. Most would probably be mind blown at a Hinawa like this. But Kengo, he was just happy to have her happy. if he could wake up to those smiles everyday he would wish for nothing greater. No one could see it but, besides the devilish or imp smiles she would have when she played pranks. they'd probably be afraid of this type of sweet smiling they seen from her, but to him right now it was as if a Angel, No, an Ice angel had come down from out of nowhere and caught his heart. She was his Angel, she may have not been the ideal angel one would expect, but they were not perfect and they were alright with that. What mattered was that they were there for each other and would continue to be for a long time.

Now Kengo had smiled as he brought her up from the cold water and stretched out, he knew they'd have to be back some time soon or people would probably get the wrong idea already. he was getting a bit cold from the water, he wasn't too used too it since he was a flame type and ice or water was of course a weakness to him. but as long as he was with her, he was content with any element whether he liked it or not. he then let her down so she could stand up while patting out any of the cold and watery spots. he looked her up and down a bit and could slightly see a bit of body from the wet areas, NO! bad ideas already he shook his head and look to the side blushing. He had a job to take care of as he released his zanpakuto and created a wave of flames around both of them, not anything too big but something to warm them up. he then smiled as he looked up at the shining light of the sun and then looked back up at Hinawa as he put his hand out and smiled. "Well let's get back, everyone's probably worried sick about you and me...." he probably knew not too many people were, but they did make some friend's and April probably was worried sick about where her third seat officer was and how her well being was right now. They had nothing to worry about after all kengo was here to protect her and he would do that until his flame of life lit out. speaking one more time before holding her hand softly. "You and me are eternally bonded, Now let's look towards the future and find the light" he said with a sweet and heart warming smile as he walked back holding her hand.

[Kagami Hinawa]

Getting out of the cold water again, Hinawa herself was also blushing - but the demanding and strong-willed girl was not embarassed about it. It was just a natural reaction of her body, and if it was going by her, she wouldn't care if anyone knew about her and Kengo... However, should someone start to talk bullshit about either herself, or her new boyfriend she finally found, a curbstomp would be in order. A BAD one. Hinawa wasn't known to take insults lightly, and now that she finally started caring for someone besides April and herself, she clearly wouldn't allow people to insult this boy who was now so close to her cold heart like nobody ever was.
Out of the water, Hinawa stretched herself a bit - she didn't mind the cold, as she got some of her light blond hairs out of her face, still dripping from the water. Being an ice type user, she could put up with the cold very well, without any protective clothing. This wasn't really true for Kengo, though - he would need to dry off, or else he would spend the next week in bed with the flu. Though this time, the girl he liked would never leave his side during that time. Not like it mattered, though - he had enough fire power to dry them both. Noticing his suddenly bright blush, Hinawa looked down on her own body. The soaked Kimono really did give off her form quite well, and revealed that she indeed was NOT as flat as most people speculated. Under normal circumstances, with anyone else, she would now be pissed. But what would happen next would most likely cause half a heart-attack once more. Surrounded by the nice, warm flames, Hinawa suddenly grabbed tightly onto Kengos hands again, wrapping her more slender and elegant fingers around his.
"Don't tell me you can't look at your girlfriend now?" Hinawa said with a smirk, knowing all to well what that word would cause in someone normally not outgoing, like Kengo. Looking slightly up to him - he was a bit taller than her, after all - she still had a slight blush on her face that didn't seem like it would go away in the next time. Feeling her heart beating faster once more, the Kagami girl leaned nearer to him. Even she in her now strangely outgoing and happy mode did have some problems saying what she wanted to say now - and so, she stretched the talking out a bit.
"They won't miss us that fast. I mean, whenever a devil goes missing I get worried right away, but I'm very sure that's just me." Using some slight sarcasm, she knew that most likely, April was now worried. But for the moment, it was very damn right that she was worried. She would have to deal with not always having her 3rd Seat to help her out in anything from now on to begin with. Maybe it was better that she never responded to the feelings of her subordinate after all, looking at Kengo and Hinawa now. AND some guys in the mission department needed 'convincing' not to send Kengo and Hinawa into different parts of the human world, but only together. Convincing meaning intimidation and possible violence.
"Please, Kengo... I..." looking at him with her beautiful blue eyes, Hinawa turned almost as red as a tomato once more. Alright, this was a BIT embarassing. "Please... look at me..." Pulling him a bit closer to herself, Hinawa tried to get him near enough for another kiss. The first, shy one already sent a gigantic, wondrous shock through her body... And they had to wait till their clothes dried off anyways. There was more than enough time for another kiss... or two. For the moment, she simply didn't want to let go of her new found love. "Show me... that light..." She knew exactly where she could see it... in his wonderful eyes, that looked just like an azure sky.

~Kengo~

Hinawa, when she was like this was definitely an amazing woman. Heh maybe somebody needed to melt the corners around her heart and ccalm that raging spirit down of her's. Maybe if people started to act nice to her and give her some time Like April or Kengo. they'd see she wasn't this flat out bitch that everyone made her out to be. Kengo was just lucky, and content to be with her. She was cute to him either way, whether it was that lovely pouting tsundere Face with the Fang. or this sweet soul he was experiencing right at this current moment and time. he just found her so cute that it sent his mind around in circles. Hinawa may have not been what most general public men liked about a woman, she didn't have the looks of her much more attractive at least to the other division members Captain April. but she was such a cute girl that it added to something to make her attractive, plus the angry attitude made the chasing after her all the more fun. He had a chase and some girl that was probably going to easily wear the pants and dominate in the relationship, but as long as it was her. He was content and happy. She was now his golden girl. and he wanted things to stay like that forever, from the bottom of his heart. His love came from being saved into something more after knowing the female and his persistence once him her heart.

While warming up in the flames, he chuckled a bit as he noticed how silly his comment was about people being worried, heh she did have a point there even though it was sarcasm he could clearly tell, but not at all obnoxious. After all what he said was pretty silly when he started to think about it himself. In Fact, he really didn't give a rat's ass if people were worrying or not. He was with his Lover. He was happy just to be around her and stay with her for eternity's and as long as they lived. moving some of his blonde hair from his face to reveal his natural blue eyes he smiled once again as the flames started to warm their bodies, this felt natural for him as the warmth was already a near natural feeling to his body, but this didn't give him as much nirvana as being with his companion of course, he had to admit her warmth was greater then any warm flame he could ask for, mostly because it came from the heart. It wasn't any made up feeling, it was genuine, a bit tough, but overall it was nice, serene, and sweet. Kengo smiled while chuckling at her sarcasm, it was a joke. He knew how hinawa could be sarcastic at times and he didn't mind that at all, he found it cute when others didn't.

Though the next action, would surely give him another rush in his body, like most of this day did, hell his heart was still beating as this moment was so surreal to him. he was finally close to his 300 year old crush and in her company and being friendly and all. even getting that first kiss which sent a shiver down his spine. The Small boy wasn't fragile but when it came to her he was almost like breaking glass. he wanted to curse his earlier action of catching a glimpse of her body in the light and in the soaked clothes as he heard those sly words;"Don't tell me you can't look at your girlfriend now" Woah, never in his mind would he expect such a sly and slightly seductive comment from her. It nearly made his mind go in knots and fly all over the place. a huge red blush had tinted up on his cheeks as he looked at her while she wrapped those slender fingers around his own, when she was near him like this she felt so soft and fragile but most would find that that was definitely tough with this little tough fire cracker. he cracked up a smile and looked back at her shaking his head, he loved to look at her but he wasn't sure if she was that open for him to stare at her body...like that at least. Hey, at least one of his worries was gone. still he was gonna be careful no matter what, until she gave him more signs to come closer.

he was brought a bit closer to the female, accepting more of the warmth as he smiled back at her and held her close, after sheating his balde of course as some of the flames were above them but not near them, they then soon turned into a heart under the both of them. looking like one of the beautiful sight's that one person would see and just want to take a picture. he then smiled as he looked at her and listened to her every word, and smiled as he gave her one more kiss, this time it was on his own, he decided that he wasn't the only one who could be dominated in this relationship, it could be fun, but still tasteful of course. it was a bit longer then the first. Her lips were like heaven on earth, his own personal heaven that if he played his cards right he could keep every day of his life. he let go and smiled back at her as he looked into those blue orb's of her's and spoke; "i'll show you the light, Hinawa, the light that exist's only for us" Two people who experienced their own personal Darkness, could now find a light that existed for them and no one else, their own personal light that they would follow until the end's of time if fate wished it so. He smiled one more time as he held her in his arms, he scratched the idea if things continued like this he would continue staying until even night, if more forever. this was definitely his own personal paradise.
