Carter is a boy who looks to be just shy of a highschool grad but in reality he has been alive longer than most highschools have been around. He stands at an average height of 5 foot 11 inches and weighs 150lbs. His auburn hair clings to his ears and will flash over his eyes from time to time in a soft wind, his eyes are an almost white blue color that seem to look past you and into your core, staring at him for some reason always makes the air around you fee colder and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It feels as if you just stepped outside on an frosty day and had a burst of cold, but when you see his crooked grin the cold melts away even though he has never been seen with a true smile in years.

If you were to touch him he would feel like solid steel, the muscles in his body like a metallic coil wrapped under his skin, but it is just pure muscle from spending the second hundred years of his life training his body day in and day out until he felt fit enough to carry on in this deathly world. Scars lace his arms and chest from past battles and most days he doesn't dress like the photo above. He tends to wear a button down flannel with slightly dirty boot cut jeans and his tan carpenters boots.

Personality: Carter is a happy go lucky boy with quick wit and loves to see his friends laugh even at his own expense. He never backs down from a big boy and has been known to laugh in the face of creatures that could easily have killed him, he find humor in anything and has never been seen to gulp or sweat in fear. But under all the happy and laughing rests a serious side of him who is haunted by the loss of his human lover, he could
have saved her but froze and now he torments himself daily over her death. He will never let anyone he cares for be harmed anymore due to his mistake. The loss of Megan ripped him apart inside and he never fully healed. But he won't show it. Carter moves on, he fights. He is quiet around strangers though since he fears outsiders but quickly warms up. Whenever he likes someone in any way he makes a pledge to himself to fight for them to death if need be. He's a quick thinker, in battle he moves before the attack lands. He loves a mental challenge just as much as a real one. His mood tends to make people enjoy him more often than not. All and all Carter is the life of the party. "Life's for the living and for the party"

Zanpakutō Name: Nacuto

Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance:

Nacuto is a slender woman bathed in white but with a cloak of black over her, she is the opposite of Carter her darker side showing over the lovely beautiful light half of her, her eyes are a scarlet red like wine and just as thick. she has never been known to smile since Carter and her have teamed up but she is not evil

Zanpakutō Spirit Personality: Nacuto is a sad woman, the star crossed lover like Carter. Instead of being strong when losing love she broke and now she draws in on herself, shy and distant. Only Carter's call brings life to her and even in battle she is loving and caring. When she brings death she is swift and kind about it.

Inner World: Carter's inner world is much like a forest, it's a floating island surrounded by a circle of mountains and a single river running through it and out over the abyss. The ground is always coated in a fine layer of snow and every tree is a northern pine, the needles green and fresh. The air tastes pure and crisp. Clouds hold back a bit of the sunlight making it feel as if it is night and day all in one and this inner world is shared with Nacuto who spends all of her days in a small meadow surrounded by roses that grow a rich violet color.

Shikai Information
______________________________________________

Shikai Appearance: In Shikai form Carter's skin turns grey to start off with. Black lines lace across his body forming a crossing pattern of no real device, his nails grow into 2 foot long onyx claws while bone shards grow outward from his elbows and his forearms lengthen by 6 inches and his chest widens. His Shikai form is almost demonic. His face sharpens to form a shallow snout and his eyes white out completely. Like some retro infected werewolf. Right before his energy up keep becomes too much to handle the lines on his body glow a deer violet and his energy power increases 6 fold without taking extra energy with it but it lasts for in incredibly short time frame, the out come of using so much of his energy at such an inexperienced level tends to cause him to black out from time to time after using it.

Shikai Abilities: Onyx Shadow: The claws on each hand morph together to form blades on both Carter's right and left hand, as they finish their morphing for a short time before the energy up keep becomes too much for Carter they burn with Energy as shadows fog around them, a simple slice would cut clean through any normal metal when they are energized.

Rune Regression: The Black Lines on Carter's chest heat up and seem to rip off of his body forming burning hot rods that encase him as he moves to keep hand to hand and sword fighting at bay for a short time before they become to much to upkeep as well. If an opponent touches the rods with his/her skin a small burn appears and as time goes on it grows throughout their bodies, the pus that forms from the burn is slightly acidic and burns deep into the skin at a delayed rate.

Shine Dim- the most taxing of Carter's Shikai abilities, it takes the sunlight and focuses it into a sword of pure radiant energy except around the handle so he may wield it, the blade only lasts for seconds due to it's immense power up take but if it comes into contact with flesh or blade it slices clean through it. Slicing through flesh is a death sentence, it doesn't burn close but eats away like lava where it connected. After using this power Carter cannot go on. even coming close to Carter when using this ability horridly burns the skin of the attacker due to the heat.

Inner Hollow & Mask

Inner Hollow Description: Carter's inner Hollow is a titan compared to his slight frame, it stands at 8 foot even, its head resembles that of a rabbit, its ears are bent back at painful angles and a bleached white bone crown grows from its forehead, its eyes are mirror images of Carter's but something chaotic looms behind them, it's face is fixed in a twisted grin and cracks slide down its face with blue light coming forth from under them, Carter has never gotten a good look at it's body. It always appears blurred around the edges and it alludes him. The Hollow is still to powerful for Carter's full control.

Inner Hollow Personality: The Hollow's mind is fragmented, it shares the pain of Carter and Nacuto both but it also drives love and lust from the sick things. It only wants to rip free and control Carter and Nacuto so it can make the world burn just like he burns in his mind.

Inner Hollow Powers: The Hollow inside Carter allows him to bring out his inner insanity but with a leash wrapped around it, it makes it so he can bend his body, making his speed amp up and his reaction time sky rocket(this is mainly letting out the pure animal side of himself in short controlled bursts). His Cero blasts become distorted and flux in on themselves sucking things into them that happen to be too close before exploding, the cero blast turns white with a negative outline when in Hollow form. In Hollow form his shoulders lengthen as his size increases to just below the height of 8 feet in height. The air around his being becomes denser making close combat harder for people close or even with his skill

Hollow Mask Appearance: Carter's Hollow mask is the exact same as the Hollow face except the crack glows violet instead of blue when he dawns it, and the crown shrinks a little bit. But the biggest change is the black brand the goes across the forehead like a band with a star in the middle.

Vizard Powers

Vizard Powers: By transforming into his masked state Carter can control his energy and create a sort of energy root system that springs up all along the battlefield and he can also create an energy "body" that allows him to leave his body and move at much faster speeds t he energy body can only be damaged by damaging the real body, and when in energy form the SP follows the energy body, it does not stay with the real one. But if his real body is killed he dies even if he isn't in it. The root system rips up through the ground like whips and lashes at the enemy, once grabbed it violently drains them of all energy and releases it harmlessly into the ground leaving the opponent a lifeless husk

History

Background: In human life Carter was an average student in an american high school. He was in between his mother and his fathers house and it was taking affect on his grades, he didn't care for anything except his chemistry class. He was half way through his last year in school when a new girl came to his class, he was attracted instantly. soon they fell in love and were with one another daily. On the day of their one year, Carter decided to take Megan to see an old house for sale as a gag and they entered. Not soon after they entered did a Hollow come around and attack them, she couldn't see it but he could. The Hollow wanted her and he stood by afraid as it started to rip into her. Not until she screamed for him did he act. Somehow or another he managed to kill the Hollow by stabbing into it's hole but he died in the process. This marked the being of his new life, he became a Shinigami of no real merit and didn't attract attention much until his tenth year when a Hollow attacked his group and the Hollow killed almost all of them. He didn't even see it until it came to kill him but the second he focused on it his mind went back to the death of his lover and he went berserk. He wasn't aware that this was his own inner Hollow he was fighting, but he fought all the same like a man possessed. In the end he was the victor but just barely and he gained the majority of control over his inner Hollow and this was when he became a rather low level Vizard.

Role Play Sample: Carter sat in his tiny room, it was modest with only a bed, mirror, dresser, closest, single window, and door. He rested on the bed with his back against the wall. His blade Nacuto was propped against his left shoulder and his head hung limp. He was in a state, he wanted to prove something to himself and to all the other Vizards. He wanted to break the boundaries and beat his Zanpukto before he was considered old enough. he found her in the rose meadow in the inner garden, he ducked behind a tree and pulled out his sword with a tiny click. Nacuto's ear twitched at the noise and she stood and ran past the tree sliding her right arm out as a blade cut through the tree right above Carter's head. He froze as she turned and face him, "You're not ready yet partner, give it time" she said in a loving voice mixed with a pain he understood too well. He winced as the tree behind him cracked and snapped falling over with a clean cut through it. "fine, but I will be back soon Nacuto. I promise you that."

He opened his eyes and wipe away his tears of frustration. Carter got up and walked away with Nacuto in his hand. He would conquer this blade truly or he would die trying.
