Hanako's Deep Slumber: Arrival to a New World
Sun Jan 15, 2012 9:25 pm
For all that Hanako knew, she just recently tucked the kids to bed with her husband, Koichi and went to bed with him at the pub. Hoshiko was sleeping in the kids' room as someone to watch over them and care to their needs. However all that changes after she fell asleep. She was extremely tired when she did and now she was renewed with energy, but finds herself in the middle of some desert. The sky above her was prismatic and the desert was like it could go on and on without an end to its smooth field of sand and quartz. She looked at herself and find that she is wearing her casual tank-top with jeans and work boots and fighting gloves. "I see you look like Lady Iramasha, yet you look different. I supposed that you are the Real Self rather than your Dream Self." A deep voice speaks out calmly from her right side. Hanako looked and noticed a tall figure in white arrancar uniform. He has blond hair and a stare that could cut deep into one's happiness, causing despair just by looking at him. "Who are you?" Hanako uttered out in curiosity. "You do not remember? Strange that you do not remember me." The arrancar toyed in response. "What do you mean? I could remember, but I do not recall you." Hanako replied with gravity in tone while raising her fists with right fist in front and in kind with her footing. "Does not matter. Entertain me with your futile attempt to defend yourself." The arrancar goaded at Hanako as he drawn his sword and pointed to the ground off to his right. |
Hanako looks at the arrancar with a stern look on her face while the arrancar observes her. "Are you going to attack me or walk around and show weakness?" The arrancar speaks to Hanako. "I thought it is the other way around. You should not keep a lady waiting." Hanako remarks to the question. Suddently, the arrancar disappears from Hanako's sight. Typical that the arrancar would use something like that and if that is the case... Hanako ducks down and rolls forward, evading a slash to the back by the Arrancar. "That was typical." Hanako comments to the arrancar. "Serpentine Cero." The arrancar invokes as he points his two fingers at Hanako. "That is not." Hanako retracts her previous comment as she prepares herself to dive aside away from the cero. The moment that the cero rushes out of his finger, the cero shoots directly into the sands below. Normally, this would mean the attack will come back up and bite her in the butt if Hanako does not get moving. Hanako runs towards the arrancar, making him think she is going to the offensive. The arrancar simply steps to the side as if he was expecting the feint that Hanako was about to pull as she dives right by him and rolls back onto her feet. Without warning, the rising cero blasts upward close beside Hanako, sending her off balance and tumbling onto the sand. Hanako pushes herself back up as she notices the arrancar walking towards her. His sword twists from his right to his left before raising above his left shoulder. Hanako shifts her right leg forward and bends it acutely. By the time that the arrancar was only less than three feet away, Hanako springs from her position and passes by the arrancar with nothing more than a pink belly smack. As Hanako rolls back on to her feet from that escape, she hears a strange beeping noise. Hanako looks at the arrancar as he turns around. To her surprise, there was a sticky explosive disc on his belly. Hanako was in a daze about how she acquired that device when last time she remembers, she has nothing more than clothes on her body. The arrancar looks down at the explosive, but it was too late as the explosive goes off with a bang. The arrancar stumbles back while the explosive only tore his shirt off while heavily bruised his belly due to his hierro. As the smoke clears, Hanako delivers a dropkick upon the damaged gut of the arrancar, worsening the imbalance further as the arrancar stumbles further. Hanako rolls backward and charges again to get as much strikes as possible while the arrancar was stunned. Hanako strikes thrice with three consecutive hard punches. As the arrancar stumbles, Hanako raises her left foot and steps on his right knee, giving her a boost for a somersault. The direct blow to the chin stuns the arrancar further. To cause more imbalance, Hanako spins clockwise which lands her heel against the arrancar's right arm. She spins back to stance and grabs the arrancar. With great stress tolerance, Hanako lifts the arrancar off his feet and turns him upside down before dropping down with a pile-driver. Hanako jumps back onto her feet while the arrancar was struggling back onto his feet. Hanako waits a moment for the arrancar to blindly get into the right position before delivering a leaping uppercut with the force to put a heavyweight to sleep if human. The arrancar takes two steps back as Hanako grabs him again. Only this time, she jumps high into the air with the arrancar trapped in her grasps. She then tosses the arrancar down to the ground, causing an impact boom that creates a crater in the sand. Hanako lands as the arrancar gets back up. The next thing he sees, Hanako's fist was gleaming with the prismatic sky before getting run through by Hanako. "Yeah!" Hanako utters out in triumph as the arrancar was caught in an explosion behind her. The arrancar glares at Hanako as he fades away. "Damn...you..." He utters out weakly before disappearing. |
"I wonder who that was. Does not matter for now." |

(NPCing as Dream Inuyasha Iramasha, 3rd born son of Hanako and Koichi.)
Inuyasha bit his right thumbnail, his palm facing outwards from him. He was sitting with his knees pointed to the skies on a large, flat rock. He watched as the battle between the two raged. Plick. Plick. Plick. Plick. Hmm... Weird stuff has been going on since Lord Ketsu reached that Sky Terror crystal... Plick. Plick. Plick. Plick. But... Is it truly the right thing...? Sometimes I just don't get what Lord Ketsu and his court are thinking, same as Madame Iramasha. He moved his hand down from his mouth for a moment, looking back at the fight, seeing the arrancar beginning to lose the upper hand. Who looks much like this stranger, I must admit. He decided, leaping down as he saw the arrancar disappear. He landed, his black robes that went up to his neck and down to his feet not obscuring his boyish face and his dirty blonde hair. He lowered his arms, which he had let behind him as he descended, and walked towards the strange woman.
"You know." He began in his soft voice, looking on intensely as he came to stop in front of her. His gaze was downwards; she reminded him of Madame Iramasha, whom he never looked in the eye. "There really was no point to killing him." He spoke mysteriously, looking up at last, meeting the woman in the eyes. He nearly flinched as he did so, but prevented himself from doing so, gripping his fists within his robes out of site. "He should have known that as well, but Arrancar aren't exactly the smartest of tools..." He finished, raising up his right arm. He turned his arm, pointing his palm at the sky, fully revealing the limb. It was covered with scars; from the wrist all the way to the shoulder. He began charging up a mass of Chaos Energy, moving at high speeds behind the woman at first, then from all 8 sides. Then he shot up dark flare, a brownish-black sort of color, that rose high up into the sky.
It exploded, revealing the form of a Lion. The Lion was growling, its face and mane forwards in front of the rest of its body, ready to strike. It was quite large, but then steadily shrank and ran down from the sky, coming underneath Inuyasha's waiting right hand. He stroked its mane, looking down at it. "You know, Lord Ketsu seemed to be waiting for this. He has never had us go on patrol like this before. Even me and my brothers and sisters. Normally he doesn't send us out unless there's a crisis going on, like right before he deployed his Air-Ship." He was talking Idly; simply waiting for someone to find the flare. He didn't really have anything against the woman; in fact, she intrigued him. "I don't personally mean any harm against you. HE" He spoke, pointing at the rubble that was left of the explosion. "Just jumped into the fray without thinking. Fool." He finished, reflecting on this woman. She was fierce, like his Mother, but yet seemed shocked when she had placed the explosive on the arrancar that was eventually his doom in the battle.
He looked at the ground again, thinking some more. Then he looked up, realizing something. "Your clothes are really weird. You're not from the Outer Realm, are you? Tell me, where ARE you from?" Inuyasha knew that everyone in the Outer Realm of Lord Ketsu wore robes similar to he: white for the lower classes, shadowy black like his own for the middle/higher, and a dark ebony for the highest. It was how they proved their class: as his robe told, the arrancar had been in a low caste as well as not very smart. He eagerly awaited her reply, she fascinated him, like his mother, and yet... much... different...

In the midst of her victory, Hanako raises her arms above her head, interlocking with her fingers as she stretches, and then separates them to move her arms back down and behind her. Again her fingers interlocks over her butt as arches back to loosen up her shoulders and back. Suddenly, three orbs appear before her. Each orb reveals a bit of treasure; a reward perhaps? The first orb reveals forty-eight coins with a "D" in the middle. The second orb reveals a denim jacket that she is quite familiar with. The third orb reveals a rather majestic bottle of a strange liquid. Hanako collects her rewards, wear the denim and stashes the bottle and coins. They may be useful later on. It was not long after the triumph that a new entity enters the former battlefield. Hanako shifts her eyes to her right from the endless sands and twists her head so her delicate chin was hovering above her pronounced right shoulder. Her eye takes notice of a man in a dark robe. Could he be another opponent or his friend? Seems too coincidental that another person would appear right after a fight like that. What tips her off about the new entity was the ruffling of the sands beneath his feet as he walks up to her. Unlike most teenagers and young adults, Hanako prefers softer music or music at a low volume because she knows that she will need her ears to detect something quickly and that will make all the difference between life or death, freedom or imprisonment. "There really was no point to killing him." The man speaks as he reveals his eyes within the shroud of mystery. "He should have known that as well, but Arrancar aren't exactly the smartest of tools..." He finishes as Hanako turns to him, looking at him with her innocent gray eyes and dirty blonde hair that was ruffled from the fight. "I guess you are a native here." Hanako assumes while her fists rests upon her hips while leaning forward to get a good look. When he reveals his scarred arm, Hanako realizes that person has plenty of experience in fighting. Seeing that the sands are moving in a peculiar pattern and there was a gathering of chaos energy, he is going to attack. Hanako shifts her right foot back with her right arm bending with the right leg. She raises her left fist to her eye level and forward with her left foot staying stationary. He charges at her and turns into a blur, but with Hanako's amazing reflex conditioned as a martial artist, the man was just moving very quickly and by the shift off to the side, he is going to attack from behind. Hanako quickly shifts her right side forward just slightly, wait for the moment and then strikes with her elbow while thrusting backward to catch the man off guard. Unfortunately, she was just not fast enough as the sand makes it hard for Hanako to get a foothold necessary for the technique, so her attempt fails in the process. The man circles around her, kicking up sand and causing a cloud that distorts Hanako's view. Before Hanako could recover, she hears a blast go off as she sees the brownish-black flare flies to the sky and explodes, giving away her position in matter of seconds. Hanako backs off from the man, battle-ready. "Who are you? Where am I?" Hanako demands for an answer, knowing she has little time to get away and avoid capture. The lion from the sky lands and the man caresses the lion's mane while looking at it. "You know, Lord Ketsu seemed to be waiting for this. He has never had us go on patrol like this before. Even me and my brothers and sisters. Normally he doesn't send us out unless there's a crisis going on, like right before he deployed his Air-Ship." He speaks, ignoring the question given. The name, "Ketsu" seems to ring somehow, but it is hard to put her finger on what. "I don't personally mean any harm against you. HE" The man continues before pointing at the ground zero of Hanako's barrage, "Just jumped into the fray without thinking. Fool." Hanako looks upon the ground zero while lowering her guards and trying to think of a way to get away, but the man seems to know something that was going on better than she does, maybe even something she cannot remember. "Your clothes are really weird. You're not from the Outer Realm, are you? Tell me, where ARE you from?" The man interrogates while Hanako was wondering about that as well. Something went wrong and Hanako cannot remember what it was. All she did was sleep and this happens. "I- I don't know. Last time I remembered was sleeping and then here I am." Hanako answers, yet still in enigma by the things she cannot remember. Why is she wasting time? Hanako has little time to get away before reinforcement could come, but where to go? Hanako looks around and find only sands upon sands, dunes by dunes. There could be no way to tell if she is near any landmark. Hanako guesses that she will have to try in order to avoid capture or worse, death, so she jumps up and slams her foot against the sand. The impact causes an explosion that kicks up the sand and creates a dust cloud, a cover for her escape. From there, she runs southward. |

Re: Hanako's Deep Slumber: Arrival to a New World

Inuyasha raised his eyebrow as he watched the woman's reaction. His right hand, which was still stroking the lion, went down to just one finger tapping on its head. It had its eyes closed; Inuyasha wasn't sure WHY it liked that, but it did. How can she be hesitant...? Does she not...
"I- I don't know. Last time I remembered was sleeping and then here I am."
Inuyasha opened his eyes wide, raising both eyebrows. "how... How can you not kno-" He was cut off as the woman spun around, kicking into the sand. He threw up both arms, defending himself from the resulting explosion. His lion was standing there, roaring and growling at the fleeing woman. Inuyasha frowned, his eyebrows lowering above his eyes, and pressed down on his right foot. Inuyasha vanished, using a chaos warp, grabbing ahold of his lions fur. He appeared next to the woman, on her left side. He realized that he would have to detain the woman, or give away that he let this woman escape. His lion appeared on the woman's right side, away from Inuyasha, and he threw out his left hand. He charged Chaos Energy within his hand, and his lion's mouth was widen open as it ran, level with Hanako. His hand glowed a dark ebony, and the space in his lion's mouth did the same.
"LION'S ROAR!"
He cried, releasing his Ramnyaku. Let's see how she deals with this. She may look like Mother, but I highly doubt that she has the same amount of ability... The blast went out, right at Hanako's direction, 5 feet in diameter with his hand as the epicenter. A similar blast as large as his own shot out from his lion, colliding with his own. It created a large blast in the shape of a cymbal, 10 feet in radius to its sides, moving as they ran and kept with Hanako for 5 seconds. He and his Lion leapt forwards, landing in front of Hanako.
Inuyasha began using a form of Taijutsu of sorts, performing a straight chop with his right hand at her shoulder level, trying to hit her in the neck and end things there. However, he had seen her last fight, and doubted that would do it. Inuyasha's Lion leapt forwards, moving its right paw in a swipe at her stomach, trying to claw her side. The Lion did this as Inuyasha' weight came down on his right foot, regaining his balance from the chop. Then, in the same motion, he brought up and back his left foot, shooting it forward at her stomach level, trying to knock her off balance from the strike. Then his lion leaped, trying to pin her down, bringing down all four paws outstretched in a leap. What a shame, hope Leo doesn't rip that nice coat... the errant thought crossed his mind as he brought up his right and left arms, pushing his weight downwards, his knees pointing straight out and level with his waist.
"Chaos..."
He began, bringing the arms into the air. He shut his eyes tight and a scowl crossed his face, bringing all the energy into his hands. He wasn't that old, but he had experience, and he knew this task would require a bit more energy than normal. Inuyasha's lion leapt off into the air, a good 2 feet, knowing what was about to happen. It leaped just moments before Inuyasha pushed down, activating his attack.
"SHATTERING!"
Inuyasha yelled, pushing his hands onto the ground. His hands pushed through the desert sand, as the Chaos Energy spread from him. It disturbed the sand, rapidly shattering the hard bits within it, sinking the two of them deep into a crater. Due to its sinking and loss of stability, anything that touched it would quickly be sucked up to their knees, depending on their weight. The crater was 10 meters across and 3 meters deep, with himself and Hanako at the center. Inuyasha looked up, one eye momentarily closed as he began to recover from the shock of chaos shattering. While it was used, it would have rumbled the ground around them, making movement difficult and perhaps disorienting his opponent. Inuyasha prepared himself; he still wasn't sure what to make of this strange woman, but he was decidedly ready to be prepared. He wasn't about to let her just run away, after all, it was theortically his job. That's all. She's certainly not Mother, and I'm just doing my job...
Just doing my job...
