Inuyasha Fanfiction.... Probably my best Story yet.

Two figures stood on a snow and ice covered beach with another sitting at the shores edge looking outward. The oceanfront was onslaught by a heavy blizzard blasting its fury on them. The one that had sat down was a female. If she would stand, she would be 4' 6". She was garbed in a blue and cyan wolf princess dress-skirt and top, extreme thin plated with diamond over ever piece of cloth. She was a slim female at 68 pounds. Her eyes were always gentle since her mother the now passed on Queen of the Winter Wolf demon's had taught her to always be gentle and as pure as the midnight snow before anyone touches it. Her eyes would stun anyone who saw them. Shizuka's eye's were both a beautiful frost bitten blue. Her forehead bared a azure snowflake-like symbol and a golden chain wrapped her forehead sparkling with the midnight blue sapphire's dangling from it at its place on her head. Her cheeks had red slight blush marks coming from below eyes; indeed these mark's were small but noticeable. Her neck was beaded with frost colored pearl's on a string of blue gold, blue feather's of the bird race they were eternally aligned with draping at her shoulder's and clamped to her arm's by Adamant bracelets, while also hanging from the beaded pearls.

On her forehead was a lush forest of beautiful azure-cyan colored hair, reaching down to the ground. She was the most beautiful child of the King and Queen of the Winter Wolve's. Shizuka being the lone princess out of seven other's was shunned by her brother's, few of them ever showing love for her. As the only female of her seven siblings, fathered by Yudeshi the White Wolfe Demon, she was to be taught to become a slave for the male she mated with. As her time was being used, torture, rape, forcing her to submit to the mate they had found her, InuTaisho was contacted by her mother, Yuki of the Wolves of Eternal Winter.

She begged Inutaisho to kill her mate, just to save her daughter. Inutaishou had meet Shizuka and Yuudeshi before, he felt that Shizuka was being beaten down mentally and he had already mated with Izayoi.

I must help them, Shizuka is a fine mate for Sesshomaru. But I will leave that to them.

InuTaisho challenged Yuudeshi to fight him for land, this was expected by Yuudeshi and his son's who were loyal to him fought along side him in a great clash. The blood scattered for miles, untouched as rain poured and miasma flowed. The battle had been over ever since InuTaisho drew Tessaiga.

"WIND SCAR!" InuTaisho commanded his blade as it carved into the earth, striking the fissure were demonic energy collided with the force of wind. Fives streams of light crashed into the ground, flying and rushing accross the ground towards Yuudeshi.

"Ha ha ha. You've won InuTaisho, my souldier's and family are your's to cammand!" Yuudeshi screamed these words out in pain as InuTaisho bowed respectively. The Great Yuudeishi had perished fighting InuTaisho for dominance. As InuTaisho returned without killing any of the sons of Yuudeshi, they were behind InuTaisho, following him to returning home to a dead mother who had been attacked by unknown forces. Covering her only daughter's body so she would survive. "Mama! MAMA! MOMMY!" the girl, Shizuka screamed out, sorrow deeply etching into her heart. Her brother's all appeared back from battle, stunned to see their sister holding their mother corpse and begging it not to leave her. Saying... she was alone. Her brother's hated her, she only wanted them to love her. The fur brother's, Yuuki, Hinomaru, Jigoku, and Auraun stepped towards their youngest sibling left. She laid on hr mother corpse, crying, praying tot he gods o bring her back, her brother Yuuki picked her up and held her close to him. Th other's soon gathered round as InuTaisho appeared stunned to see yuki dead. He shifted into wolf form and picked the scent... it was fowl. It was as if a demon from another time had appeared. His name was on the wall, NARAKU. Painted in Shizuka's mother's blood. Yuki was gone.

Shizuka adored InuTaisho for saving them from Yuudeshi since her brothers could not. She began to follow InuTaisho whenevr he came around, eventually asked for her to follow. At this she agreed and sat on his shoulder most of the time. Shizuka traveled with him for sometime, InuTaisho taught her many things during thier travel's, cooking as human's did, teaching her the things human's knew and did, combat and protetion, and how to find a mate. As they traveled on, InuTaisho took her to Totosai, the master smith to have a weapon or two made. InuTaisho provided her with his fang, three to be precise for the blade and claw's she wanted made. Totosai decided to add one of her fang into her claws and Shizuka agreed. It would be a few years for her weapons to be finished so she began to wander off sometimes. This usually occurred constantly since she wanted to explore the continent and so she did for around six months until she saw him again.

InuTaisho came to Shizuka on the continent to ask her to keep a sword for him after his death, along with the one's Totosai had him deliver to her. Keeping this sword on one condition; never use this blade until you have grown more powerful than he was then and make sure to remain eternally pure of heart. Shizuka's answer took four days to be thought out, then she agreed. Seeing Shizuka so hesitant convinced InuTaisho that Shizuka would not be a fool and draw this blade. He told her the name of the blade: So' Unga the Blade of Hell. She agreed once again with even greater hesitance than before.

"If Sesshoumaru should ever try to take this blade, flee while closing off your mind so that So'Unga does control your mind and soul. If I die, find Totosai, Saya or Meoga. They will show you to its hidden location." InuTaisho upon telling her he walked away and left. His final words being that he had mated with a human, she only smiled and wished him a healthy child. InuTaisho turned back to her and bowed, making Shizuka as neveous as possible.

"Shizuka. Princess of all Wovles. Izayoi is in labor and I came here to meet with you and Sesshoumaru originally to have you protect her child if I do not survive. I'd like for you to be the child's sister Shizuka. Could I ask this of you, Shizuka?" InuTaisho asked with his deep toned gentle voice. He hoped for a faithful answer and when she spoke he was very pleased.

"Of course... f...f...fath...father. You raised me.. I'd do anything for you. It sounds enjoyable and I love children... and hope to have my own with a fine male one day but... I doubt that will ever happen. Especially since th-"she stop as her master raised his hand to single Sesshoumaru's arrival. Shizuka went and sat on the shoreline as Sesshoumaru appeared behind his father.

He immediately noticed Shizuka and growled her.

"Father. Why is that wolf demon here and where is this 'apprentice' you spoke of? Don't tell me it's this worthless Wolf Demon." Shizuka smiled gently at Sesshoumaru like she always does for everyone but when its Sesshomaru she always blushed a bit, but never understanding the feeling she got form him. InuTaisho had a personal smile though. Shizuka had shown it to no one but InuTaisho and her mother.

"Shizuka is indeed that apprentice. She is much stronger than you are at this time Sesshoumaru, the reason lies with the person that Shizuka is protecting." InuTaisho's tone had turned hard but not cold.

Sesshoumaru stared at his father like nothing he said made sense then questioned him.

"Father. Do you insist on going?" Sesshoumaru's tone was plain, as the waves crashed below him.

"Do you intend to stop me Sesshoumaru?" InuTaisho reply with a question.

"I will not stand in your way. However, before you go you must entrust the swords Sou'unga and Tessaiga to me."

"And if I refuse...? Will you kill me, your own father?" InuTaisho paused onyl for a moment then breathe in to speak. "Do you desire power so much? Why do you seek power my son?"

"The path that I walk is the way of supreme conquest and it is power that will reveal the way for me."

"Supreme… Conquest" his tone now somewhat mocking. "Tell me Sesshoumaru, do you have someone to protect?"

"Protect?" Sesshoumaru questioned and paused briefly. "The answer is no." This Sesshoumaru has no need of such."

InuTaisho walked over to Shizuka and bided her farewell. "Goodbye. InuTaisho. I thank you for teaching me to defend myself. I swear to uphold you teachings and the promised I made. I.. love you... father." InuTaisho looked back to her a spoke his final words to both of them, "Seeshomaru, this is a request from me. Do not let Shizuka be killed. Shizuka... thank you. My beloved daughter." Inutaisho smiled genuine and turned away. Jumping into the air and shifting forms, only to disappear into the night.

"Sesshoumaru… may I tell you something?" Shizuka questioned sounding a bit pleading.

"What, woman?" lacing the words with venom.

"I am your sister. Father asked me to be you and the baby's sister. I truely wish Sesshomaru.." she paused to stand and walk closer. "That you would... accept me... as your younger sister. Goodbye, big brother."

Sesshoumaru glared at her for her response then quickly shifted and disappeared into the night. This left Shizuka feeling abandoned again.

Shizuka had been watching over her younger brother now for seventeen years and decided to finally let InuYasha meet his older sister. Her current location was a village to the north of the castle were Inuyasha and Izayoi were home to. She was in s small village she had heard a half demon lived in. She thought she heard it was Half Cat, so she decided to raise the child if she could locate it.

As Shizuka wandered into the village, her pale body and azure hair scaring many into their home's as she passed, frightened that as a demon, she would kill them. Wandering into the village square, three men approached her with blade's drawn. Shizuka stepped back, her face betraying her feelings of fear to her enemies. She spoke quickly, if just to have the child and remove themselves.

"Please... I only wish to take the half demon child from here. I do not want to harm anyone, so ple-" she was stunned by a shriek of terror, as four young boys with spears and swords chased a naked young girl who had shrieked out before. She dashed over to the child, kicking the for men out of her way while the child saw her running to her.

The child ran to Shizuka as Shizuka ran to her. The girl no older looking than nine and clamped to her leg while crying. The girl's hair was a titanium white in color and reached her ankles, her gentle green eyes held tears as village boys ran up to Shizuka and the Shizuka looked over to the boys they yelled at her and the girl.

"Dumb demon! I knew it! I knew she was a demon!" At this the girl cried harder and screamed from the torture of being hated. Shizuka drew the sword from the back of her waist to point at the boys neck. Blood trickling down from the spot were the blade caressed the boys throat.

Shizuka's voice became dark, the memories of her life returning. "You will stop this mindless torture at once. Your very disrespectful to females boy. I could care less if your human or demon. Hurting a girl or woman is an unforgivable act. You call yourself human... yet this act you are committing toward's this girl is anything but. You are a disgrace, your are a failure of a human. Leave. NOW!" the boy shook as Shizuka spoke, his legs shaking more and more before he ran. Shizuka picked the girl from her leg and held her close. Then, an elder woman from the village walked over to the girl and handed her a set of clothes from each of them.

"Little Yuzuki, hear. We made these for you for your birthday. It's today remember?" the elderly woman said, a smile potruding from her mouth. Not a false smile, it was genuiene. The girl, Yuzuki walked over to the elderly woman and hugged her. Tears came from her eyes as the elderly woman dressed her in a purple kimono, embroidered with hot pink rose patterns and edged with silver lining. Yuzuki looked over to Shizuka, whom just smiled as the old woman spoke.

"Yuzuki, go with this demon. I can tell she is... pure. This is an extreme rarity among demon's and she is the second one I have seen that had became so pure of heart. The other was InuTaisho, and this demon, Shizuka was a little girl when I first met her. Ahhh. I see you remember me now. Its been twenty-seven years Shizuka, the world had been kind enough to let me see you again. I'm sure many villagers recognize you as I was nineteen when we last met. you looked the same back then, never changed. Well your outfit changed, and you have weapons to 'Protect those dear to you' now don't you? You can trust Grandma Yuuki." Shizuka walked over to the elderly woman and hugged her close, weeping a bit. As they broke away, several villagers came out of their homes to greet her and question how she was, and how InuTaisho was.

At InuTaisho's name... her face dropped and she looked to the gorund.

"Father... father has... passed on. He.. was protecting hos love, Princess Izayoi from anyone who would try to kill her during her time in labor. But... I promised him I would teach as he did, reminding the younger demon's and half demons that human's would forever hate them if they did not become like him in some way. I.. promise dhim I would find Izayoi and watch over her and their son, InuYasha as his older sibling. I'm trying to find my way to her castle... might any of you know the way?"

The villagers laughed heartily and pointed to Yuuki's hut. There were guards outside it bearing swords and spears.

"She's been here for some time today Shizuka! Iza even brought her half demon son! Thats the boy your looking for right? Well then my old friend! THAR SCHE BLOWS!" a man in his high thirtys said to her, comedian-like and fun as Shizuka remembered him.

"Thank you Yuu-chan. I'll begoing then."

"OI! I'M TALLER THAN YOU NOW!" the man Yuu explaimed grabbing her and standing next to her. He was and ich shorter than her still. "You've gotta be kidding me..."

Shizuka chuckled and hugged him before heading to the hut with Yuuki and Yuzuki.

Shizuka picked up Yuzuki and set her on her left shoulder, Yuzuki mewed at this and her ear's appeared from her white hair. She was... half cat demon.

Six year's later... They finally decide to meet Inuyasha.

It was a seaside villagewith quite a population, and the huts were well built for the environment A quaint but large seaside village port, undisturbed by demon's for the most. Mainly people walked the dirt roads around the village, as its was very active. Everywhere you look there was another shop or stand selling their wares. But all stared as a Demon and Half-Demon walked through the market village, the azure haired woman seemingly looking straight ahead as a white haired girl in a purple kimono held onto the lower end of the azure-haired female's robe-skirt. The little girl, had white furry cat ears and looked afraid of her surroundings, while the azure haired woman hand one hand on the child's shoulder while her other had a white and cyan claw type gauntlet equipped to it.

A man approached them, he had a muscular build strong enough to pound a lesser demon into the ground with his fists. His hair was long and black, flowing in the wind as the sea breeze flowed through the ally's and roads. His eyes a complete green, something foreign in Japan. He greeted her in a language from the continent,

"Hello Mademoiselle, I welcome you to our village. If you can promise not to attack villagers like you promised in England than you may stay Shizuka. I'm sure you can remember me." the man flashed a toothy and goofy smile holding up his hand with his thumb sticking up while his fingers curled in his hand.

English? But.. how? I don't know him... wait.. Shizuka stepped toward him and sniffed him. Memories of him and England coming through.

"Ravrin! I haven't seen you in nine years!" she squaled, jumping onto the man in a hug and being spun around. She leaned up and him an kissed him on the forehead like she did when she watched him as a child.

"I see you remember now! I've already heard in regards to your Father. I'm sorry he has passed away, InuTaisho was a powerful demon but a savior to many. Come let us rejoice in his good name that you are still alive and well Shizuka-hime!" e exclaim loudly and proceeded to repeat everything to the villagers in Japanese. Many of which had sailed from England as well, some remembering her as she did them. Others... questioned her reasons...

"You are a Demoni yet you don't attack us human's and the village of slayer's has place their trust in you. Why?"

This took Shizuka a moment to think over. They are… scared of me. I know its to be expected but...

"Shizuka! Move! I have to get to her!" a woman's voice sounded through a circle of eight soldiers. The soldiers stood aside and a woman with long black hair stood with a half Inu-youkai child that bared silver hair and dog ears. "Don't you remember me Shizuka-chan?"

Shizuka was in front of the woman instantly and sniffed once. "Its really you!" She stood up and hugged the woman as she was hugged back. "I haven't seen you in so long Izayoi-mama! Can I speak with you at the castle after I finish here? Some of these are my frie-" she was cut off as Ravlen put his arms on her shoulder.

"Oi! Lady Iza-Iza! Long time Iza-Iza! We are hav'n a feast tonight for Shizuka's return! Would ya like ta join us Iza?" he jovially invited her. The whole village became an even bigger uproar as now the festival would host a feast for all as well. Izayoi told her gaurd that tonight they could relax, the entire castle to the north began cooking foor the festival and even the Lord of the castle and servants came for this festival. Demon's soon appeared, bringing dishes that they had created from their kills, asking humans to try them and all. Many were surised how good demon's could cook and asked for recipe's.

Dancing was everywhere as the large village was up and enjoying the festivities. Izayoi and Inuyasha had found Shizuka and Yuzuki at the dining area, out by the firepits cooking food for any human or demon that came. Today was a day were race didn't matter, the village elder came out at the end of the night alond with a demon who was well over ten thousand years old, they both noded to eacher and did a friendly jester before beginning.

The demon started first, while the human elder pulled out drawings of old.

"These are one of the few times when all of us demons and all of you humans except each other. Proving co-existance is an easy goal! But with demon's like the ones we about to speak of, and the un-needed killing and destruction, it is hopeless." He pointed to the human elder and he began.

"This is the age old story of... Horai Island. The Island were human's and demons could live happily. Giving children of the Half-Breed race. These children are sacred and are very powerful. The island was a peaceful place were demons could live with humans and never worry. Until demons attacked of course." He sat down and four demons posing as the 'Four War Gods' came out and everyone moved back as Shizuka, Izayoi and the elder motioned them back.

The red headed one spoke. " We shall continue this story with the assistance of Lady Izayoi, Lord Inuyasha, Shizuka-shotei and Yuzuki-hime." All the said names moved into the area, then the crowd followed them itno the field. They began to act out the final battle, Izayoi as a preistess to seal them away.

The elders narrated,

Elder Bael, the Story Weaving spider demon started, " The demons were powerful... the humans and demons of Horai fought bravely but lost quickly. The four war gods were stopped only by the priestess who took their jewels of power. Now FIGHT!"

Shizuka was attacking the false Juura as Inuyasha and Yuziki attacked the big Turtle demon Ichikan, playing of course but still effective to the crowd.

Izayoi was throwing certain streams of paper into the area as she danced a ritual type dance. In the end Shizuka, Inuyasha and Yuzuki were on the ground, false blood lowing from their costume's. Izayoi was being charged and she screamed and the demons used their superior speed to rip off the false jewels and trow them to her without anyone seeing. A lightning spell was used by a demon in the background for efect as the jewels were thrown into a box before the lightning his them.

The Elder Human spoke, "It is said that... these war gods still haunt this Island. throwing the half breed children into a flaming cauldron, sucking there souls into the gods for their powers to be restored temporarily. Ever fifty years far to the east of here, the island can be seen. We constantly pray someone can save these children."

The elder finished as Izayoi tumbled down to the ground. Finishing the story the crowd cheered and left.

The night went well, and many stayed up to help clean up the village after dark. Shizuka, Yuziki Inuyasha and Izayoi went to he castle after clean up, resting until morn.

After dawn, Shizuka went to meet Inuyasha formally and took Yuzuki with her. "Yuzuki? Inuyasha's a bit older than you. Do you want him to be you big brother?" Shizuka asked, her tone flowed with joy and happiness. Yuzuki looked to her and spoke, "But... Mama... okay." Yuziki mummbeled and nodded a quick 'yes' motion.

Around the time after Inuyasha met Kikyo.

Shizuka was gone in an instant and was following the scent right outside the village were her and Yuzuki decided to stop for the night.

She drew a katana that Totosai had made for her from InuTaisho's fang. It was like the Tenseiga but it was dependant on the wielders will to be able to kill or not and a human could wield the katana without fears of being possessed. The blade would kill only to protect. It could injure but never kill unless the sword deemed otherwise this was accompanied by its ability to resurrect the dead as the Tenseiga does.

She was now in the forested area to the west of the village were Jikaku, the demon boar stayed and the scent of the boar became closer and closer until she saw the demon.

It was indeed a boar demon but it was enraged. It was stomping tree's into the ground. Leaving long crevices in the ground. Shizuka jumped on top of Jikaku to see a parasitic demon on his back that was draining his strength and controling his mind. The boar roared its wish to her.

"Shizuka-hime! Please! Kill this monster that has forced me to slay the ones I protect!" The guardian boar roared, sadness and guilt in his voice. the false pain of slaying ones he swore to protect engulfing him. Though anyone who was hurt by him was left with minor injuries...

"Your mistaken! You've resisted enough to not kill anyone! Only minor injuries Jikaku, I swear this!" Shizuka stabbed her blade into the parasitic demon and stopped before she stabbed Jikaku too. This released the boar guardian and he ran too the village to raor and apologize. Shizuka walked hbehind his trail to the village. They villager's children ran to Jikaku and hugged him, Shizuka going into her and Yuzuki's temporary stay. shizuka lifted Yuziki onto her back and they left the village, leaving gold for the villager who allowed them to stay.

The cat half demon, Yuzuki-hime and the Winter Wolf demon Shizuka-hime wandered through the forest near the village that supposedly the Shikon no Tama was protect by a priestess named Kikyo. The forest was claimed by a guardian youkai of wolfs. Shizuka curled Yuzuki into her arms and began to slep against a large cherry tree was lying against a low tree to rest from a long travel.

This forest was lush with live and the stream that lied in front of her was sparkling in the sunrise. As her eyes felt heavy, she drifted slowly to sleep, with her daughter of sorts in her arms.

She was rudely awakened later by a woman's voice.

"Demon! Stand!"

Shizuka's eye's slowly opened and she began to yawn and stretch like a wolf. Her ears popped out from her hair and twitched when she heard a bowstring being pulled back. She opened her eyes to see a woman in a red and white priestess kimono. No... not this again. Ugh. Human's can get very repetitive. The hakima she war was red and her robe top was white. The woman wore her hair long and tied halfway down its length. She was a priestess.

"Why are you here, Wolf Demon?" her voice was demanding but kind. after Shizuka yawned rudely by accident, the priestess nocked the arrow at her but Shizuka held onto Yuzuki while jumping out of the way.

"Hey! Cut it out! HEY I HAVE A CHILD IN MY ARMS!" she said catching an arrow in mid air with her teeth that the priestess had nocked. "Stop woman! Ugh! You humans are so dumb sometimes!" Shizuka irritability yelled after spitting the arrow out. She smell's like... INUYASHA? Big freaking white dog demon that looks like a wolf says what now?

The Priestess stared at Shizuka in awe of the shock.

Who is this demon... none have ever stopped an arrow of mine! Let alone with their teeth..

Shizuka stood up with Yuzuki now awake and hiding behind her, scared that a woman knocked arrows at them. Yuzuki suddenly noticed her brothers scent coming from the woman and spoke, "Umm.. you smell like.. Inuyasha... is big brother here?"

Kikyo went a bit wide eyed at that as a voice sounded behind her, "Hey! Kikyo! I sensed a sacred arrow!"

"He's been here for some time. He promised to become a human with the power of the Shikon no Tama. I am Kikyo, its nice to meet his older sister." Kikyo quickly whispered to the two females in front of her with a kind smile as InuYasha ran up behind her.

POV 3rd person Inuyasha

InuYasha was running quickly to Kikyo as he noticed a familiar female scent and another familiar female scent. He felt a great impact from the front that shoved him to the ground then felt a warming embrace and something... soft and pillow like against his chest. He looked up at his attacker and his eyes went wide at the hair color he saw. Azure blue and cyan.

"Eh...?" was all that came out of InuYasha's mouth before he saw her.

The woman who had tackled Inuyasha looked up and smiled at him. "Hiiiiii little brother! Remember your big sister? I sure hope so, cause your little sister is here too" the female, Shizuka sing-songed out in cheer.
