"That's good." He said in reply to her, feeling as her lips pressed against his own. There was a large smile on his face as suddenly…
They were both covered in light, from head to foot. In fact, they had come out in a green house; or the side of one, anyway. This was one of the few places in the underground that got light; and Colin loved it for the plants that were being grown there, preventing their seeds to go to waste. However… that was not the only thing about this greenhouse, why they had appeared there. In reality, his office existed right next to the green house as the two of them fell… onto a tree. The tree's leaves, very soft but the branches strong, let the couple down as they slid of it from the wetness of the tunnel onto the ground, Colin smiling widely.
"You can let go now… if you want…" He said, looking around him. "This greenhouse is right next to where we want to go. I'm not entirely sure who runs it; but I do know that rarely does anyone come here." He said as he kissed her again, lightly, before looking around himself. "You can do stuff with plants, right? Well, I showed you what exists in the sky. Maybe you can show me… what exists in the trees." He said, glancing all around him at the wildlife around the two of them, wondering what it was that she could make these plants do, his wings slowly unfolding from around Marama and himself...

- And without warning, the world began to burn bright. Light invaded every inch of the area, almost like a burning flame : Marama let out a squeak, as suddenly, she was reconnected to nature : the entirety of her body actually let the male go the second they hit the tree. She landed on her feet elegantly, her fingers a brushing touch on the male, nothing more, as the sudden reconnection left her quiet a few moments. The kiss was met very softly, but no more : she was whole again. The fear was gone from her system as soon as it had been there, as the male mentioned something about seeing what she could do. ''You already saw some of it, when we fought.'' she said, referencing the giant roots and the massive trees : their attack on the demons, and the will that nature seemed to have. And then the healing of the broken land. Marama had been the channel for that, as her steps were quiet, as she venture in the green house.
Each time she passed a plant, it seemed to curve towards her, and then bow, respectfully, as she made her rounds around the entire place. ''I could easily work with this, if you wish.'' she said, her green eyes almost like emeralds, sparkling in the light. From the moment she had stepped on the earth, the entire area seemed more lively. Her smile was wide, as she softly stepped to him, and bound their hands together, closing her eyes. The voices of nature : their song, their dance, was moving in her. And bit by bit, he could come to hear it : hear the voices of the plants in their different tones and melodies : the very fabric of the green house seemed to have become magic. It was surprising, and yet it felt intimate. Vines creeped on the walls, blooming flowers that were remarkably breath taking : the scents and sights were colorful : but never clashing. It's like the entire area was working together, to paint the image of what Catholics could call Eden : and what Marama simply called The Garden.
Each thing was breath taking : the whole rainbow and then some was present. ''And..?'' she said softly. Her abilities weren't as show off as his could be : and they were less variable. But it was still beautiful, and anybody with a sense of beauty could just look, and understand that. Because this was a beauty that few could, or would ever see : the beauty of nature in full swing.

As Marama squeaked, Colin felt a small amount of red rushing to his cheeks, slightly embarrassed. In that instance, she had sounded just like a cat; specifically, a little kitten. However, he did not shre this thought with her as they landed, and as she reminded him of the battle, he nodded. "Yeah, I do." He replied simply, following her as she walked around the area. His cybernetic eyes took note of the plants, as they leaned in towards Marama, giving Colin some idea of just how fluent with nature Marama really was.
"Work with? In what way?" He asked her as she stepped in front of him, and bound her hands to his own. He saw her close her eyes, and decided to follow suit.
Very slowly, the Eaglegod began to hear it. The bits and pieces; all around him, a beautiful melody, as they brought to the forefront of his mind all of his memories; how he fought for nature, for things that couldn't protect himself. He remembered his anger at those who had harmed it, and how proud he was whenever he could protect it. The images that they inspired in Colin's mind were breathtaking; he could stay like this forever, he felt, just standing in the peace of the plants and the song they were showing him through Marama.
His eyes opened again, looking back at her, as he heard her soft voice. Her voice went right along with everything else; not disturbing it, keeping it in a perfect sense of harmony. "And I have no idea… how you could come up into the air and leave all this…" Colin said, closing his eyes once more. "It's truly… beautiful. A beautiful gift. Something to be treasured, I think." He spoke once more as he continued to stand there, before opening his eyes and realizing that his wings were perfectly closed on his back, like an angel's when he was at rest.
"Marama… you truly are… A most beautiful creature…" He trailed off, his voice filled with awe, awe created by her…

- The girl just gave a smile, her fingers letting go : and slowly the sounds would stop. Like an ending song, as her voice was soft and gentle still, the force of nature in her heart. The trees rumpled : and in one moment, she was back at one with her whole self, her green gaze focused on the awed male. ''No, you flatter me. It is nature that is beautiful.'' she replied, her fingers dancing, as she gently eased his posture, and without a sort of hesitance, began to escort him towards the exit. There was a softness, as she closed the green house door, and smiled. ''Now what..?'' she said, a bit shy about this. She wasn't quite sure what this feeling was, but with the plant's whispers now muted, Marama could actually think, instead of being crowded by all of their desires and noises.
It allowed her to think, much, much more clearly.

Colin heard as the sounds slowly began to stop; every action so gentle and so calm that he felt like he was in some kind of dream. The sounds came to a halt, as he clearly heard her voice. "Yes… but you are a part of nature; and thus, you yourself are beautiful as well." He said with a shy smile back at her as she guided the two of them towards the exit, softly shutting the door behind them.
He smiled back at her, before thinking for a moment to himself. "That's right… We were going to my office, for a change of pace…" He trailed off, before he snaked his own hand into hers, and pulled her along to the building directly next door, which said "Vizard Corps" in large, bright green letters. He took her along the hallway lobby, paying no heed the man at the door, merely throwing him a green feather; no other explanation or identification was required as he reached the elevator.
"My office is on the top floor." He explained, as he pressed the button, and leaned against the wall of the elevator. They were the only two in it, so it would give them actual time to talk. "So… what do you like to do?" He asked, honestly curious in the habits of the person he had been taken along with for the last two hours or so.

- She had blushed at his compliment : she felt weird being told that she was pretty, as she just gave a shy smile to him. She had never felt like this with anyone around her : it was almost strange, but her heart was beating faster. He seemed to be thinking, as he decided the next course of action for the two. His hand was placed in hers, and her heart was beating so loudly in her chest, as she felt almost.. comfortable. This idea of holding his hand : she wasn't sure what it was, but she liked it. The building next door felt weird to Marama, but she accepted it, reading Vizard Corps on it. So he was a vizard? She had read about those, and understood them : but at the same time, she knew that Colin was a nice man. So she couldn't judge vizards on what books wrote : after all, the Sugiura and their Alters were like the same usually. It was in green letters, she absently noticed, as Colin just threw a green feather at the man at the desk. She gave a courteous smile, even as she was just dragged along, her green strands flicking in the air behind her, green eyes taking everything in.
That's when he brought her into the elevator and pressed the button. Slowly, the gears started to wind and they were floating up : she felt her stomach float into her body, as she wasn't used to such a feeling yet. It was just them, and then his warmth left her hand, and it was aching to her for a moment. He asked her a question, as she just tilted her head, the lens of her glasses hiding her eyes and her hair covering her face. After all, she was blushing now. ''Not a lot.. train.. read.. and take care of plants.'' she said, misunderstanding the question. And she realized that, as she felt her fingers curl into themselves. ''I do like doing those things! I also travel a lot, because I like to learn.'' she said almost shyly. She didn't understand why she was so shy with this man : but she knew it had to do with how her heart was beating so fast.
Her face rose a bit, showing a blushing cheek before she brought it right back down to hide her face again. It was embarassing.. Marama had never been so close to anyone, ever, so it was all relatively new to her in such a way that.. it was nice. But she was still a bit confused, and yet it was okay. It was all okay as long as she was with Colin.
And that scared her just a little bit.

It never had occurred to the Eaglegod that she did not know he was a vizard. He could have sworn he had drawn his mask in the battle, if he was asked, but in reality it had not been seen. He didn't know if she was a racist like many of the shinigami had been; he did not believe so, as usually, people merely accepted that he was a vizard.
It's a good thing he didn't think to long on this fact. After all; all it meant was that people couldn't care for the kind of suffering that he and all of his kind had to go through. However, Colin was a positive person, and didn't like to think about things that got him down, so he generally stayed away from it. He smiled to her as they started going up in the elevator; he remembered clearly how she had been while they were flying around, and realized that she would probably feel similar now.
”Well, I figured the training and taking care of plants.” He said with a smile, leaning back on the railing of the elevator's exterior. ”But as for reading... I'm more of a fisherman myself.” He said with a smile, remembering the lunch they had shared that day as he began to drool slightly, but quickly cleaned it up with the back of one hand, focusing on her again. ”Really now?” He exclaimed, blinking at her as the gears in his mind worked. ”And yet you don't have that much experience with flying... I assume you must be able to get around on the ground quite quickly.” He expressed, not knowing if this was true or not; however, he knew how her body had felt when he first took her into the air. It was most definitely not used to those kind of sensations.
As her face looked up at him, he blinked, looking up at the top of the elevator. He didn't really know how to react to the red on her face; he did know what it meant but he had no idea what to do as he waited a few moments in silence, before asking her yet another question. ”What kind of hats do you like?” He asked her, as at last, their stop PINGED on the elevator, as Colin looked behind them quickly with a smile... as they were at the very top of underground karakura, clear from the view through the window he had had installed just for this purpose, before looking back at her, that excited smile back on his face...

- A fisherman? Marama smiled softly : someone that patiently waited like nature. Fishes.. were odd to Marama, but she didn't dislike them. However, she would assume he was a passionate flier : it fit him beyond all measures. In fact, the green haired Sugiura yearned to touch his wings, but she understood the nature of his feathers : that nature would prevent her from ever doing such, since it would not only harm her, but the pain he'd feel. But he seemed impressed, as the girl let out a small laugh. ''I should show you my travel methods sometimes. It's quite efficient. Although, on the ground is only relative.'' she said, almost mysteriously with a smile, as the red faded to pink : but it never left her cheeks, as she put a finger to her lips. ''As for hats? I tend to prefer more olden caps and rimmed hats like top hats. Just less tall.'' she said, her eyes almost green with light. Her feet were curious, but she wandered into the office to stare out of the window.
Her breath was caught, needless to say. ''... wow.'' she simply let out, her fingers touching the glass, as her gaze looked at everything the window had to offer. It.. felt personal. For a moment, sitting here in this office, she could feel as if she was in his mind : as if Colin's self was wrapped around her, showing her around his very own insides. It was strange to the Sugiura, although her fingers were trembling just slightly, as the strands of green were almost perfect : however, a stray strand was lain across her neck and face, begging to be placed back in a sense, as her eyes turned to him, almost liquid. She wasn't quite sure what more to say : it felt like she understood him, knew him on the inside.
Like a soulmate, if she would believe in concepts such as that.

He blinked, curious. ”Ground is relative? How so?” He asked, wondering what exactly it could be that she did to be able to “travel a lot”. He wasn't sure at all what it could be; since unless she traveled UNDER the earth, she would need to travel on the ground... Huh. Could that be it? He wondered, thinking to himself.
He smiled as she mentioned her favorite kinds of hats. He could feel the one that he had on his back right now; it was his tilly hat. In fact, not only was it a tilly hat; it was probably the oldest one in all of existence. He took excellent care of it; and while it had several small nicks in it here and there, he still loved his hat as he took it off of his neck, looking down at it as Marama entered his office. Then he actually laughed, a deep, boistrous sound from his strong mountain-trained lungs as a thought came to him.
”You'll have to show me sometime... you in a top hat.” He said, the smile still on his face. As he walked up behind her, he noticed her hair in the light. ”So your hair is always green then...” He noted as he traced his hand through the side of it, hoping she wouldn't mind, before blinking as he realized there was a strand out of place, and picked it up between his fingers, running it back along with the rest as he ran his hand through her hair, gently, before taking out his hand and seeing a strand of it on there.
He smiled, getting an idea as he took off his tilly hat from his head. He took the hair, and with his cyber eyes, zoomed in on the fabric, as he slid the dark green hair right into the front of the hat's brim. ”There... now I'll always have green hair, too.” He said, before bending his wrist back, plopping the hat smoothly back on his head, before sitting down next to Marama in a chair out looking the underground. His office wasn't that large; however, it was comfy. It had a desk with a chair behind it, these two chairs next to the window, and a counter with a fridge, microwave, and sink.
”OH!” He said, blinking as he realized his failings as a host. ”Can I get you something to drink, Lady Marama?” He asked her with a smile, thinking about how plants needed sun and water to grow. The smile dimmed, slightly, as he realized that there was no sun underground; however, there wasn't that much he could do about it. ”...I'll bet you like it better on the surface, don't you...” He asked as he got up, hopefully to get her a drink. However, he still felt a bit off... because it was bothering him now, the thought that she might not be comfortable down here. She's seen a lot of my world... but I've only glimpsed at hers...

- He asked her about her comment, as she just smiled to him. ''You'll see.'' she said almost mysteriously, as her fingers touched the window pane. She wasn't necessarily used to no sun, but this wasn't bed : she felt warm and safe, as if put into the womb of her mother. A strange analogy, but that's how she felt she supposed. His laugh was deep and loud : but the girl didn't mind the sudden sound. Anywhere else and she would have jumped in surprise : but the girl felt almost accustomed to him, although it honestly hasn't been long, a couple of hours at most. She let out a giggle at his suggestion, and just looked at him curiously at his comment. She wasn't aware that her hair wasn't meant to be green : or was it that weird? The girl wasn't sure, as she felt his hand drift in her hair. The Sugiura felt her eyes close, as she relaxed against the hand, letting it drift. It felt soothing, as she just breathed out a soft sigh : it must be like this the plants feel when she softly pets their leaves. The girl just hummed for a minute, and turned to face him when he said something strange : and her eyes were able to pick up her green strand on his hat, and blushed a bit more.
But her breath caught, as she shook her head. ''I'm no Lady, Colin. Just call me Marama.'' she said, softly, as she walked over to where he was sitting. She took the chair beside him, and just turned to look at him, as if observing him : her eyes were sharp, if he bothered to look, as she pushed up her glasses. ''This.. isn't bad at all. It feels nice and warm : like I'm safe under the ground. Like I'm a little bud, protected.'' she said, having read that he felt sad about something : she assumed it was about the comment to the surface. In fact, Marama didn't mind it underground so much. ''And water, if you have it.'' she said, answering his comment about a drink. Her gaze traveled the room, and she stood up, walking softly towards his desk, looking at some papers on them : and sitting herself, she couldn't help but look at them a bit more, her fingers touching some and moving them. She had forgotten for a moment that these weren't her papers for one, and second Colin was right there. The Sugiura was completely absorbed into reading and amassing the knowledge on the paper, her face relaxed, as she seemed to be concentrating heavily on the pages.
