Knight and....Knight

A Knight must do what his Queen tells him to. That's the only thought going through Tsubine's mind. Why would such an odd though be floating around the mind of the Knight of the North? Let's flash back two days. Shimura, in all of her infinite wisdom, spoke with her son. Because he had only recently returned from his ordeal in the North, Tsubine did not know much about the other Cardinal Knights. Now, these are among the strongest members within the Sugiura's rankings so it would be an idiotic thing to ignore their existance, so Tsubine was ordered/threatened to go and at least converse with one of the other two Cardinal Knights.
The Knight of the North chose the closer route, the Eastern Knight. He had heard few stories about her except that she was no laughing matter and deserved her title. Tsubine was hindered by one thing: unless truly needed, he could not summon his armor or draw either of his swords. Tsubine only brought Caliburn with him, which is kept on his left side encased with Invisible Air.
The blonde Knight was worried about one thing though. Called a gift by most but a curse by him, the Mystic Eyes of Charm were Tsubine's Mystic Eyes. They had a fearsome ability that was apparent even as a Shinigami. Their power revolved around attracting members of the opposite sex, meaning that this already handsome Knight was the envy of most men. Of course, Tsubine hated them. However, Shimura asked him not to wear his inhibitors that block their powers. It did not matter to Tsubine either way, he was ready to return the moment he left Shimura's Reach, the Castle/Fortress she resides in.
The Knight entered the city on a white stallion. Of course this was a tamed Guardian Beast and not an actual horse. The saddle was hand-crafted with a blue overlay with .9999 % gold trimming, which made him stand out a bit more. The beast snorted as it entered the city outskirts. The clopping of the hooves made a slight racket. Yousei could be heard giggling within Tsubine's head. He ignored the annoying fox spirit to move the horse into the holding pens outside the walls.
Tsubine stepped down from the horse and walked inside. It seemed like it had been ages since Tsubine had last been there. He actually let a small nostalgic smile curl his lips. He sighed, and began walking towards the massive fortress in the center of the town. Oh how he had missed this place actually. Of course, he had only stayed in this town for a few weeks before going to Acheron. Those weeks were of the best in his life, however.
Passing shops, houses, bars, apartments, and schools, Tsubine continued to just gaze around him ever so slightly. This was for two reasons. The main reason was to keep his guard up, since he did not have his armor on. The other was just to take in the sights of the people who stemmed from his own mother. The massive spiral in the center loomed closer. The blonde-haired knight looked at the white structure and the smile returned.
Tsubine put his hands in his pockets. The knight wasn't wearing anything fancy. Tsubine wore a black v-neck shirt given to him by Shimura that fit quite well. His pants were khakis in a deep brown color. On his wrist was a silver armband that had a leather strap holding it on his wrist. His shoes were black leather boots also given to him by Shimura. In fact, all of his clothing was given to him by Shimura.
Tsubine pulled out a piece of paper from his left pocket and carefully scanned it. Of course, Tsubine wasn't going to meet her inside the palace as the chivalrous actions he would do just to get in would take the entire day. The paper stated a place to meet her outside the palace walls at. Tsubine looked around to get a sense of direction. The knight then took a left and watched the walls for a place where a hole was recently repaired. Well, it was not a small hole. Instead it was like someone had driven a bus into the wall. Tsubine didn't care what the cause was as long as he could find the damn thing.
Tsubine kept walking around the massive circle until a discolored section appeared in his periphrial vision. He stepped in front of it and placed the piece of paper back into his pocket. He gazed around him, still with a slight nostalgic look on his face. The knight sighed slightly and waited on the female knight to appear. He had a feeling it would be an interesting experience.

Are you ready to face your fate?
Death may be my only freedom..

Come on, let's rock.

Ugh.. what a pain.
This was the only thought in Kameko's head as she stepped out of the royal offices. Was the queen serious? Hngh.. Kameko leaned against the wall by the door to the room, tsking audibly from the back of her throat. Here she was. Knight to a queen she had served, and been minorly in love with, for decades now.... and forced to play ambassador. Yeah, she knew it was beneficial to the clan, herself, and the relations between kingdoms, but ambassador duty was SOOO boring. And.. besides that.. she really wasn't in any fit mental state to be initiating anyone.. not after that.. issue with Daigoro... Kameko shuddered, she wanted that as far out of her mind as possible.
The knight growled softly to herself, stepping off the wall and turning down the hall, walking angrily into her room. Well, at the very least, if she was going to be forced to meet the northern knight, she would make herself look presentable. The knight searched her closet briefly, rifling through robes and armor, before deciding finally on a long-sleeve black shirt with a baggy front. The color against her skin, and the bagginess of the shirt, were to disguise her curves from any onlookers. She had to cross the courtyard to get to this supposed meeting point, lots of gawking servant eyes, and she really didn't feel like killing anyone else since that Iramasha back in karakura town. Descriminating a knight by their gender... tsk.. the nerve of it all.
After slipping the shirt on, having discarded her robe onto the bed for later washing, Kameko slipped on a pair of blue jeans, popular pants in the human world, that she had acquired from a close friend of hers some short time ago. They fit quite nicely, a bit snug in the back though... Gladly, the shirt would hide that, too. Kameko huffed at this thought, blowing hair out of her face. She shouldn't have to hide her body. A bunch of pigs, men. Why couldn't the lot of them be more chivalrous? Kameko sighed, slipping her hands in her pockets and her sandals on as she walked outside, dissmissively waving off the bowing of the servants as she crossed the courtyard, walking to the palace wall. She knew the spot that she had asked him to meet her at by heart. She did a lot of thinking by that wall. A lot of training, too. It was one of the only places here she felt that she could be totally alone, regardless of how public or in the open it was. It was just one of those things, you know?
The knight blinked as she realized that the man wasn't standing there, walking up to the wall itself and looking around for any side of him. Scratching her head, she wondered if he hadn't wanted to come inside the walls at all? She shrugged, didn't matter to her. The.. prisoner was currently inside, and the farther from him she was right now, the better. Kameko turned, walking to the palace doors and walking outside of the walls, turning and heading back to the same point, opposite the wall. And it was there that she actually saw him.
Tall, blonde, and a noble air that would make a king know instantly who he was talking to. This was definitely the Knight of the North. Kameko slipped her hands out of her pockets as she approached the man, observing him for any signs of a weapon. None. Not that she could see, anyway. Then again, not many sugiura actually kept their sacred materialized at all times. Inconvenient, but necessary. The knight extended a hand in greeting and for a handshake, bowing her head and tilting her knee forward, a silent gesture of the utmost respect. This was one of the most revered knights in any sugiura kingdom. Moreso than herself or the western queen's knight, Hisashi.
Kameko, after a moment, looked up, clearing her throat and speaking in the most commanding tone she could muster, "Tsubine Zarkonheinz, I assume." She chuckled, standing up straight and running a hand through her long green hair, the golden eyes that marked a Madoka-Sugiura observing Tsubine warily and curiously. "I am the Knight of the East. Not my only title, but the only one currently relevant." She smiled a bit. "So what brings you out here? Clan to clan relations? Or do you have other business?" Kameko asked casually, slipping her hands back into her pockets. If she had to talk to someone, this would be the guy she wanted to talk to most. She was intrigued about the battles he had fought, the queen who he had protected so vigilantly. How much information was he willing to reveal to her? A fellow knight?
Only time would tell.
