It... It had been a month now, hadn't it? One month exactly, she believed.. It didn't seem like that long, really, when you think about it.. the time had flown by, rather. But.. only because for that month.... Kameko Madoka-Sugiura.. had been in a coma, as far as the rest of the world was concerned. Uncaring.. unresponsive.. Staring ahead and dealing with the world as it came, never speaking, never looking at anyone. The only expression she had carried was an empty blank stare. One that carried four hundred years' worth of pain and suffering. As well as one that carried an entire life full of tragedy, the weight of which was finally affecting the knight.. after the recent tragedy that had made her realize exactly how much she hated her life..
Why was she feeling this way? What could've caused a noble night of honor such as her to feel depressed in this manner? What event could've prompted it? Well.. for the answer for that, one would have to travel back in time, four hundred years, to be exact. This was back before her full transformation. Back before she had Kyoubou, and back... long back.. before she was ever considered as a knight to the queen.
She had been exiled for.. what seems like forever. Stumbling endlessly on her own, she had wandered for a long time before finding him. The one covered in blood. A man, like any other, besides his scarred past. She was instantly attracted to him.. who wouldn't be? His red hair, matching eyes... She loved him, over time... Daigoro Ito, the one she had captured not long ago.. Back then.. things were different. SHE was different.
There was that one night.. the one that Kyoubou had ruined.. the one she couldn't show up for... and then.. she had lost him.. for four hundred years she didn't see him.. and then suddenly... he was there.. not even a month ago... on Chaos Island..
But of course.. he hadn't wanted her. Who would? She was just a broken shell of a knight. She had cried.. a lot.. and for what? A man? She had no honor left.. she didn't deserve to work under the queen...
Kameko kicked at a rock, dropping to her knees and staring at the dirt. She didn't know why.. but.. for once in her life.. she felt completely.. and totally..
Alone.

Gilgamesh|||The|||King|||of|||Heroes|||
"Fool. The only hero in Heaven and Earth who is a real king is me. The rest are a collection of mongrels."
For one knowledgeable in the geology of the Guardian beast lands, any skilled and prudent Sugiura knew that walking into their domain unprotected is as good as resigning yourself to death. Simply put, this is a land with a large array of ethereal creatures, those are none other than the Guardian beasts. They vary from size, shape, form, and appearances. Along the way, you may find one who resembles a human, or a large beast that one could mistake from the monsters spoken of in tales of fantasy and novels. Moreover, the risk comes from that variety, rather then the otherworldly beings themselves. To present a contrast to the earlier statement, one may find a humanoid Guardian beast who might well be very dangerous and very feral, poised on tasting their intruder's blood. One may surprisingly find the dragons, eagles, or birds, welcoming them with open arms and exchanging words of care and love as they help protect their future masters. It is truly difficult to gauge exactly what or who you will meet, and only an act of divine intervention will save you if you lack the necessary power to fight against them. Of course, none of this mattered to the man present within the lands at the current moment. The Almighty Hero King, Gilgamesh. He was no stranger to this specific part of his Sugiuran home. He clearly remembers multiple days where wild Guardian beasts with immense power would wreak havoc among t he lands, causing him and his soldiers to pursue the chaotic and ravenous warriors and beasts. His most memorable time, is when he wrestled the so called "Bull of Heaven". That was indeed one of his most difficult battles, but his persistence and his physical strength is what allowed him to seize victory. Those memories were glorious tales which earned him his name as the King of Heroes. He was an absolutely transcendent being; one who fought many vigorous battles and went through various trials and tribulations, each more taxing then the last. What caused him to come here, though? It was a visit, but couldn't he heave chosen a much better location one where he wouldn't be as likely as to fight someone or something? Whims can be strange things, he thinks as he continues walking through this land.
In a small clearing, as he walked, he could see a woman kneeling down on the ground. She looked quite appealing to the eyes, but her miserable state on the ground would probably cause any man to become discouraged. One could definitely discern that she was in a state of loneliness and depression, all mixed within one potent pot of agony and despair. With a composed and elegant gait, instead of leaving her to her own business he walked past her and spoke but only a few words, needless to say, none of them were encouraging but rather...insulting. "Oi, Woman, you might start to look as miserable as the bugs on the ground if you stay like that. " With a small and delighted smirk, he spoke just a little bit louder then before. "Or are you waiting to be ravaged, in that position? if so, i might oblige..." Little did he know, he most likely should have choose his words more prudently. Things were not going to end well, it seems.

Come on, let's rock.
-------------------
Kameko could not possibly have been in a worse state. She.. She had given EVERYTHING for Daigoro. Everything she had.. her LIFE... she would have died for that man.. She genuinely wanted to start a lifetime, a family, a future with him... but... was it truly not to be? If that were the case... then... then she didn't want to live at all any more... Kameko held a hand to her heart, issuing a silent prayer to her lady, Misaiko, and to all the people she was supposed to protect... all those who she would let down by doing this... She hesitated, the energy for her sacred to form swirling around her hand. That's... that's all it would take.. just summon it... summon the d..damn blade, and get over your f..fucking pride, she told herself.... J..just one simple mental command... summon the sacred... run your heart through... It'll all be over, then.. the pain, the heartbreak, the constant wondering and "what if"s... the regret... all of it.. Kameko took a deep breath, steeling herself as she prepared to summon the weapon.. to end this m..misery..
And then... she felt something.
Without paying attention, Kameko had let someone enter the area without her knowing.. now they were practically on top of her. Curses! How could she possibly have been that stupid?! She had never let her guard down in such a way before... That fool, Daigoro.. Cursed be him and his name for ruining her mind and concentration in this way.. that scum..
Kameko put her hand down on the ground, feeling the pressure as it came towards her. The presence felt... sugiura? But.. not like any sugiura she had ever felt.. It felt.. older.. than a lot of presences she had felt. It felt quite a bit more haughty too, as if this being was so self-righteous that even their spiritual pressure had a swagger. Fan-fucking-tastic. As the being drew nearer, Kameko steeled herself. Whoever it was, she wasn't going to trust them... b..but she didn't think she had the motivation or the will to fight if they were looking for a battle.. She didn't deserve another victory.. she didn't deserve to die honorably. If this person wanted a fight.. she'd just let them kill her. In all honesty, she was sick of fighting anyway...
As the being entered her line of sight, her peripheral from her eyes facing the ground, she could see that her prediction about what the state of mind of this being must be was correct. The sugiura was a male. Roughly her height, though a tad taller, by the looks of him. His hair was.. what could only be described as a golden blonde, that was spiked upward, as if trying to reach the heavens themselves. His outfit was.. definitely something of note. Completely golden, from neck to toes, with accents of blue here and there, and a red... was that a fucking cape? What was WITH this guy? Pauldrons bigger than his head didn't really help the matter, and made Kameko think he might.. possibly be compensating for something. As if that weren't enough, the presence of earrings on the man's body made Kameko wonder how.. aligned.. this man might be. His skin was rather pale, which was odd. You would think all that shiny armor would reflect enough sun to tan him a little. She couldn't see his eyes from here, but she could almost FEEL them looking at her as he walked into the clearing.
But then, the FIRST thing he did.. was make a mistake.... He spoke.
"Oi, Woman, you might start to look as miserable as the bugs on the ground if you stay like that. "
........................................
Kameko twitched, her eye jittering and her fingers clenching the dirt as she heard this. There were... so many things he could have said to insult her honor right then. But.. that was, quite possibly, the single most insulting thing he could have possibly assaulted her ears with. First of all.. what the blue hell did he know of misery? With his haughty appearance and arrogant walk.. how could he possibly know the pain she was in? He couldn't have ever known what she was contemplating doing before his golden ass strode into her business? Secondly, WHAT THE FUCK DID HE JUST CALL HER? She snarled to herself, he had about seven seconds to redeem himself, or take that back.. Or else.. or else.. she was going to explode. Fire. Brimstone. The whole nine fucking ya--
"Or are you waiting to be ravaged, in that position? if so, i might oblige..."
...
Kameko stood up, slowly. Handfuls of dirt trapped against her palms from how tightly clenched her fists were. She turned, feet scraping against the grass and the dirt, her entire body seeming to simply rotate on an axis as she faced the man. Her appearance right now would seem calm, but then again, her head was facing down at such an angle to where her eyes were obscured by her hair. If the man could see her eyes, currently, he would probably see the anger in them.. or the twitching.
She smiled, though there was no warmth or happiness in that smile, nor was any compassion contained within. That smile.. was one of a desperate rage. A rage brought on by a woman pushed to the very limit. A woman who had been driven almost to suicide from misery.. and then being insulted before jumping. Anyone who had known Kameko would be terrified of this smile.. but the man in front of her.. would not know exactly what it meant for him..
But he would soon.
Driven by this thought, Kameko dropped the dirt, calming herself and letting the smile drop, her eyes closing as she lifted her head, her eyes snapping back open in a cold gaze at the golden idiot.
"You dare.." she chuckled, "You DARE discern me by my gender? You DARE identify a knight by sexual placement? You DARE talk down to a warrior in such a perverse way?" She lifted the corner of her mouth in a vicious snarl as the seal on her forehead, a sigil shaped like an open-winged bird, glowed red, slowly disappearing into nothing.. Before suddenly, the entire area was flooded with her reiatsu, a force that had been sealed almost completely until then. The knight extended her arms to either side as her eyes flashed red three times, signalling the activation of her ziamichi abilities as she filtered through the three forms that the spirit gave her. She could already feel it, her skin resiliating, gaining a defensive quality equal to that of adamantium.. And the most refined effect.. A dome over the entire area, with a diameter of roughly two-hundred feet, formed invisibly and un-noticeably. A dome that gave her control over the momentum of everything but her opponent, himself. She slipped her hands into her pockets, smirking a bit and looking the man dead in the eye. "If you truly are so cocky as to call me pathetic, then make your move, golden one."
And with that, the battle truly began.

Gilgamesh|||The|||King|||of|||Heroes||| "Fool. The only hero in Heaven and Earth who is a real king is me. The rest are a collection of mongrels." ....Gilgamesh felt a highly ominous feeling looming over his entire body, from the moment she stood up to the moment she began speaking, he could easily tell that there was something undoubtedly wrong with this woman. Her visage which originally looked like a finely made doll who’s strings had been cut, possessed a wholly different look altogether. It was like there was a look of – insanity upon her face. Obviously, though her face did not match it, The King of Heroes had brought on Kameko’s Ire. For a woman who considers herself foremost to be a knight among knights to her queen, and a woman who holds her head up with pride, Gilgamesh’s words were an unforgiveable disdain. Furthermore, to insult her in such a dire state as the one she was in only moments ago, Gilgamesh had without a doubt, stepped in unwelcome waters. Luckily, being faced with warriors of past and present who had similar looks to these, helped to soften any “fear” he may have felt at her sudden reply. Though, just as suddenly as she finished, a surge of overwhelming pressure began to resonate around the golden knight and the knight of Misaiko. This energy felt extraordinarily powerful, anyone would discern that she was no mere weakling, nor some mere woman that could be ravaged, as the haughty man implied. Waves of spiritual energy emanated out from her body, as her physical form began to take on a new appearance altogether. Reaitsu filled the area, encompassing not only their location but the entire area around them. If any normal warrior stood before this overwhelming force and power, then it is probably likely that they would be feeling their oxygen being choked from their throats. That was how heavy this massive pressure felt, and Gilgamesh almost thought it was impossible for someone with her frame and her body to release such divine power. Still, none of it was enough to truly make him bend to his knees and beg for mercy. He had faced many warriors powerful and weak, and she was hardly the strongest he had come across – However, quite clearly, she was undoubtedly strong. The King of Heroes instinctively realized that the moment she transformed. This phenomenon did not abate until every part of her body was inverted, or rather, molded into something new. “…..” Normally, he would have resigned himself to walking away, but this woman facing him with potent vehement anger, seems as though she won’t be satisfied until someone’s blood spilled; most obviously his own. At this, he leaped backwards to about 20 meters, a distance she could easily close. Suddenly, golden glows started to appear in the air behind him, as those divine mysteries which had killed and dismantled many an enemy before, appeared in the empty air. There are bare blades. Spears and hammers polished like a mirror, divine and imperial pole-arms and spears of every creation imaginable, protruding from the golden circles. ‘Gate of Babylon’, the ability owned solely by The King of Heroes. Simply said, it is a treasury filled with various weapons and other items that form a massive, infinite, vault of divine armaments that he can use readily at any time he pleases. Needless to say, this was such an exact time. “You’ll pay for your insolence, you miserable knave. At least entertain me when you scatter away. “ At this judgment, 47 divine treasures bustled through the air like raging thunderbolts, each more deadlier then the last. However, while Gilgamesh was confident in a quick victory, in the next moment, this woman will betray his expectations and show the presumptuous king why it is foolhardy to underestimate a knight, and above all, a woman. |

Kameko couldn't avert her gaze. Her eyesight, her senses, her very being was focused on this man in front of her. This... this.. pretentious sack of arrogant malevolence that had suggested so lewd an action as to actually set her anger off. What kind of a man.. no.. what kind of a BEING would be so crude and repulsive to someone they didn't even know? It was INFURIATING. Kameko's insane smile widened as she continued looking at him. Oh but he would see. She would make him see. It was wrong to ever underestimate a knight committed to her cause. Though he did seem like the type to underestimate anyone, really. His arrogance, as far as Kameko could see, did not have boundaries or limitations. Just senseless bravado... and questionable sexuality. Seriously.. what was WITH all that gold? Oh whatever.
Kameko tilted her head a bit, slightly confused as the golden fruitcake jumped backwards. Gauging the distance, Kameko figured that a quick knight-step could have her in front of him in a second.. Nay.. an instant. Though... why he didn't choose to jump back farther was.. beyond her. Was he STILL underestimating her? Kameko twitched a bit at this thought, cracking her neck to either side before blinking. Okay.. what the blue hell was he doing now?
As quickly as he jumped back, a golden glow emanated from behind him. From said glow, weapons began to materialize. There were... quite a few. Of all different kinds. Were these... were these all sacreds? Kameko stood up straight, looking on curiously as the weapons formed. She wondered... were they for use in battle? Was he going to take one? Or... Kameko smiled maliciously. If he was about to do what she suspected he was about to do.... she would show him just how wrong it was to underestimate her.
“You’ll pay for your insolence, you miserable knave. At least entertain me when you scatter away. “ Oh he would see... she'd make him see.
As if on cue, a number of the weapons fired from the gates, closing the distance towards Kameko. Kameko's eyes darted back and forth, making a quick assessment of the number. Fourty-seven in total, by the look of it. Kameko threw her head back, laughing loudly as every single one of the blades slowed to a stop in the air, seemingly cut from all momentum. Which was, in fact, exactly what happened. Kameko returned her gaze to Gilgamesh, grinning and taking a step forward. "If that is your power.. if that is ALL you can do. Then I'm sorry to tell you.. but you're going to lose this battle." Before the last word even finished leaving her mouth, she used her knight step, a signature technique faster than even a shunpo, to appear before gilgamesh in a crouching position. Kameko brought her fist up, pushing off the ground with her feet in a jumping and spinning uppercut that was aimed for his chin, before immediately knight stepping backwards to her original position, letting the blades that had been fired before drop harmlessly to the ground. "Shoryuken, bitch."

Gilgamesh|||The|||King|||of|||Heroes||| "Fool. The only hero in Heaven and Earth who is a real king is me. The rest are a collection of mongrels." An impact. That's what happened. An attack intended to send its target into despair had connected. However, it was not Kameko who had experienced surprise. On the contrary, the one who experienced true astonishment was no one other than the mighty King of Kings. The array of weapons that should have mercilessly torn apart, fell haplessly to the ground. In the next moment, the powerful eastern knight appeared before him, executing a devastating uppercut that not only nearly crushed Gilgamesh's jaw, but sent him barreling backwards and into the closest tree. With his body sent flying, Gilgamesh could not even discern the sensation of pain until he hit the wooden pillar. Even after being sent back, the King of Heroes still failed to accept the reality staring at him like the headlights of an oncoming train. His mouth was now filled with fresh blood. It was a taste that had become foreign to him in the latter years of his life, yet was more prominent during his time as a king. It was a surprise that her full force blow had not outright killed him, but the haughty king - though now not so haughty - was not even thinking about his near death experience. Quite the opposite, the only thought running through his head is the question of how she was able to stop his primeval weapons from carrying out their purpose, and furthermore, how she had successfully did something no one had ever been able to do in decades. In that next instant, he experienced a flurry of emotions. Anger so potent that one could mistake it for that of the most demonic and feral beast, sadism so cruel that it would invite the disdain of even the most despicable of souls - and crimson red eyes that now shined with a sinister joy. Whether this was anger or simply insanity, one could not tell. But what was unmistakably clear, is that the King of Heroes was now hungry for blood. The blood of this wench who had succeeded in landing a near-deathly blow upon his magnificent form. He would make her pay. He was as sure of this, as he was that victory was still overwhelmingly within his grasp. In the next instant, 3000 golden circles appeared in empty air around him, each glowing with magnificence and marveling beauty. Each glittered with an awe-inspiring shine, and from each of the circles appears yet another array of imperial swords, legendary spears, and long polearms appeared in the empty air, each tip pointed towards their target--that is, Kameko. With a swing of his hand, the man sent each weapon whirling towards her in five arcs. One from the left, one to the right, the other towards her head, and the rest towards her arms and legs, aiming to leave not a single speck of her body left. |
