Red is Jenny. Blue are the guards/nurses.
”Somewhere beyond the sea… Somewhere waiting for me..”
”Shut the hell up, you crazy hag!”
”Crazy? Crazy?? I’m not crazy..”
Kicking about some, her flutter kicks did not intend to hurt and neither did she seemed agitated; at least not in a frantic and negative way. She was happy. She was really happy. But to be quite honest, was she ever not?
The night had been like any other. The day too. Honestly she never really knew when it was day and when it was night. Last time she was allowed out, she sorted of stabbed one of the nurses with a fork, and bit another one on the ear. It wasn’t her fault though. It really wasn’t. They just kept talking. They just kept talking. They just, kept talking. The talking continued and they simply just. Wouldn’t. Shut. Up.
On the floor, in a fetus like position, Jenny seemed to have been restrained for quite a while. At top, she displayed the typical restraining jacket common in mental hospitals for patients that were simply far too gone. The jacket seemed custom made to be able to resist her strength and the rather elastic nature of her body that would otherwise have aided in her escape. Then again, the jacket wasn’t entirely to be thanked for her restrainment. The wide variety of drugs that had been administered to her for the last five years had seemingly made her tame for short periods of time while driving her insanity even higher and to thresholds that had never been witnessed before.
She also lacked any shorts or pants, or even panties. It didn’t look as though she had worn any for any extended amount of time, judging by how long it had been since she had come out of her crazy room. The view served as an indication and a reflection to the minds that worked in the facility. While stable and sane as far as the law dictated, the bunch of miscreants were no better than the people they kept inside, abusing the semi decent looking ones like Jenny in ways that included but were not limited to torture, sexual assault, among many other things that would make most people cringe.
Several Hours Later
”Stop. Stop right there. No. No!”
There had been a lot of commotion during the last few hours. There had been explosions, and there had been death. At least she was pretty sure a hell ton of people died. She couldn’t see the blood, and she couldn’t smell it either. None of the people that kept her any real amount of spiritual energy so whether the shit stains died or not couldn’t really be sensed by her that way anyways. But. There was something that was very familiar and that truly allowed her to know better. The voices she heard. The way they talked. Frightened. They way they shrieked. Cowering. They way they whimpered. Begging. It had pain, death, and misery all over it. It was so cute! She loved it.
Unfortunately, whatever beast had killed and destroyed the mental hospital didn’t seem to have an interest in her. Phooey. It wasn’t its fault though. Something stronger had chased it out right after it killed all the attendants to the institution. With the walls and the door that kept her locked destroyed, Jenny would get up and literally walk out of her room. All around her there were dimmed and flashing lights from cut and broken wires. The corridors were lined with the corpses of both the crazy people and the even crazier assholes that worked there. Rather than fright however, her face was lit up. Like a child seeing the christmas lights set up for the first time after thanksgiving. She was static.
Using one of her hands to pinch the front of the jacket, she seemed to give herself some slack to loosen up space. Pushing her right arm towards the opposite shoulder despite the pain, and bringing the right arm up and over her head she was able to unbuckle the sleeve buckle with her teeth. From there she unbuckled the top and bottom buckles behind her with her free hand, while tugging her body out of the straight jacket. Though it took some effort, she managed it on the first try. It raised quite a lot of questions, as it seemed to show that Jenny could have escaped her confines a long time ago but had simply chosen not to. Whether it had to do with an addiction to the drugs she was fed, the occurrences that happened at the institution, or curiosity altogether, it didn’t matter anymore.
She would exit the place, making sure to kick like balls the heads of a few specifically despicable attendants. Not far from the institution, the then naked Jenny was able to find a convenience store. Within it, she grabbed whatever clothing was available and that she liked.
She didn’t remember where she was. She didn’t remember where she had been caught five years before. Hell she was lucky enough to remember her own god dam name.
”It's all good though. It's all good.”
Running one of her hands down her hair, she yelled out as loud as she could for seemingly no reason at all. She wasn’t happy. She wasn’t sad. She wasn’t upset. She was just her. Despite the lack of reason for the yell, a sudden smile got drawn in her expression. She had a few contacts she still had numbers for, or so she thought. They had toys. And they had means. And they had needs. And she had answers! There was a lot of things she wanted to do. A lot of people she wanted to see. And a lot of shit that needed to go down.
”One thing at a time.
Grabbing a bat right before she exited the store, she swung at the glass doors until they were completely opened and stepped out. It was a new day for her. And she was intent on living whatever she had left to its dammed fullest.
