Appearance:
He wears the standard shinigami uniform with a few changes. Instead of a white sash around his waste, he wears a dark blue one. Also instead of wearing his zanpakto on his side, he uses a sling to keep the sheath on his back, tilted toward his right shoulder for easy reach.

۞ P E R S O N A L I T Y۞

Personality:
Yuki is a somewhat reserved shinigami. He will only speak when spoken to and rarely socializes. Because of his manner, the few friends he has, he holds dear and will have their backs wherever and whenever. Although he displays his reserved personality while in the presence of strangers, when he is with his friends, he seems to step out of his way to entertain them and make sure they are having fun. He has a level head and rarely gets into arguments.However, if the unfortunate situation occurs when he does enter an argument, he swiftly works a way to either avoid the whole argument or a way to resolve it. Because he can empathize well, he rarely makes enemies. On the rare occasion that someone displeases him, Yuki always seems to forgive them in the end, not liking having enemies. Outside of his social life, or if that could even be called social, Yuki participates in solitary hobbies. He prides himself on his intellect and his artistic abilities, finding pleasure when alone in front of a panoramic view or working with his friends to fix a situation. He is quite the optimist, looking at the brighter side to things. This optimism, in addition to his empathy, makes Yuki a great consultant to his friends. Lastly, he also has a proficiency with electricity. He is always interested in how things connect and work together in any electrical device. (hinting towards his zanpakto's ability). He can take apart and reassemble any apparatus, as long as there is electricity involved.

۞B A C K G R O U N D۞

History/Background:
As a child growing up in one of the districts in West Rukongai, Yuki had no one to look after him, but himself. He spent his time scavenging for food and doing odd end jobs to get enough experience and connections to manage making into Shinōreijutsuin. Although there were many Rukongai kids Yuki's age, Yuki never really seemed to want to make friends. He prefered
to stay alone and contemplate. He would always go by a body of water and just stare into the deep blue body for hours, just because he could.

During his younger years, he became intrigued by art. He could always be seen drawing pictures on the ground using anything he could possibly get; sticks, pebbles, even food. He mainly worked under the tutelage of a local artist, helping him whenever he could. Because of the many times Yuki had helped the artist in tough binds, the artist wanted to find someway in repaying Yuki. Luckily for Yuki, the artist was related to a shinigami in the Gotei 13 and was able to pull some strings to get Yuki into the Academy.

One day, while he was drawing on the ground, he heard a scream coming from the woods near him. Because he was a curious boy, he raced over to see what was wrong, making sure he stay hidden, in case he got in trouble. He hid behind a tree and peered at what was making the commotion. What he saw, changed his life forever. It was an small little kid that was on the floor, but he wasn't alone. There was a hollow, an actual real life hollow. This was his first time seeing one, and it filled him up with disgust, seeing this monstrosity about to inflict pain on a poor child. As he was about to go defend the boy, he saw blurs of black coming from all sides. He quickly hid, but made sure he could see what was going on. The shinigami ambushed the hollow and began cutting it from all sides. Piece by piece the hollow began to diminish till it was gone. The shinigami helped the boy out and sent him to safety. As Yuki sat there pondering on what he just witnessed, he knew what he wanted to do.

When he entered the Academy, he was filled with excitement, but that soon faded. Because his lack of social skills at the time, he did not work well in teams, which really hindered him during his years in the Shinigami Academy because, although he excelled on individual things( kidou, and swordsmanship), he did horribly in teams. Because of this, he had to repeat a year in the academy, which didn't help improve his social skills, but at least made him adequate in team work. After he graduated his class, he was accepted as a Shinigami and is now currently awaiting his acceptance into a squad in the Gotei 13.

Hotaru ( Lightning Bug)
Appearance:
Although both he and Suzumushi have their namesakes from an insect, Hotaru has a humanoid appearance with Insect wings that glow. His appearance seems that of a 10 year old, but he has the wisdom of that who is much older.

Yuki's Zanpakuto is not a katana but a Wakizashi. With a dark blue handle and sheath.

Sealed Zanpakutô Abilities:
As a sealed Zanpakto, Yuki cannot manifest Hotaru's true powers, but he is able to wield some of it. During fights Yuki can send out small bursts of electricity through Hotaru ( a smaller version of Byakurai.

۞R P S A M P L E۞

Roleplay Sample:
The water on the lake glistened as the sun shown brightly overhead. The cherry blossoms fell lightly around Yuki as the wind began picking up in strength. With his head resting on the trunk of the old tree, Yuki continued moving the brush stroke by stroke on the canvas. With each stroke, the once blank canvas began to take life. The rippling water came to life at the end of his brush while the birds in the created an atmosphere of serenity for Yuki's imagination. His zanpakto lay to his right, in case a Hollow popped up and disrupted his peace. The sun glimmered against the golden lining of the sheath as a butterfly rested on its hilt. Suddenly it flew away as the atmosphere became inundated by the reitsu of a hollow. Yuki couldn't see it but he could sense it was near, and approaching. He got to his feet and began inspecting the area using shunpo to cover more area.

He finally found it. It's horrid body seemed to be an amalgamation of different animals with fur growing in random directions. The hollow was cornering a young spirit, who seemed to be in shock, against a small hill. The hollow hadn't noticed Yuki yet, which Yuki used to his advantage. Yuki used his shunpo to get ontop of the hill as he jumped up, ascending through the air as he unsheathed his zanpakto. Using the gravity to gain more momentum Yuki used a downward slice to try and cut the hollow in half, but it did not go as he planned. With a crushing blow, the hollow swung his fist at Yuki sending him flying against a tree, splinters flying everywhere. Had Yuki not braced himself using his zanpakto, he probably wouldn't have made it alive. Thinking to himself, *He isn't as dumb as I thought. I might need to try for this one*, Yuki brushed himself off as he stared the Hollow in it's empty eyes. As Yuki thought this, he grinned as he began strategizing his next move. He concentrated a bit of his reitsu into creating a small burst of electricity out of his zanpakto, aimed at the hollows knees. As it made contact, Yuki quickly moved. He began zigzagging, trying to confuse the Hollow. Yuki jumped into the air and said in a calm voice, "Bakodu no. 4, Hainawa". Golden ropes of energy bursted out of his hands as they went flying forward towards the hollow. Being caught by surprise, the hollow had no time to devise a come back and was left to the inevitable fate of being trapped. Still in the air, Yuki swung Hotaru down towards the hollow. As it impacted the hollows skull, Yuki could feel the resistance of the hollows being as it began separating into two. Yuki lightly landed on his feet facing the poor boy who had to witness this. He walked up to him and calmed his mind as he then began to perform Konsō on this boy as he vanished in a blue glimmering cloud up into the air.

He sheathed Hotaru and began walking back towards the lake. As he approached the tree next to his canvas, he gazed towards the lake. It looked the same as it did before the attack, but yet it was different. He walked towards his unfinished painting and looked at it. He thought to himself, *another wasted effort, thanks to a hollow*. He took the canvas up and began walking towards the edge of the water. He than gazed up at the sky, the sun shining brightly down towards him and thought to himself,* It's a shame that I cannot stay much longer to paint the beauty of one simple sunset*, and with that, he opened a Senkaimon and dissapeared in its embracing light.
