The Blade of Three.

Colin looked out over the wastelands, sighing. The wind blew around his T-shirt, as it was too big for his slim frame. I come here way to much. Ever since that first brawl with Akuma right before I joined the Vizard Corps. Ah, well... I do always find something to do when I come here... and today... He thought, sweeping around the area with his cybernetic eye. Suddenly his eye opened wide as he detected a Sugiura, a race he was now familiar with. According to his stress reader, they were itching for a fight. Eh, I got nothing better to do. Might as well oblige him. Colin seemed to vanish from the small patch of sand he had been standing in, the only place in the middle of a desert storm that wasn't being blown on.



He appeared directly in front of Hiroshi, seeming casual, his right hand casually on his zanpakto sheathe and his left hand in his jeans pocket. He took 2 steps back, giving Hiroshi some room. Then he leaned forward just a bit, observing his enemy a bit. Then he smiled, beginning to speak.



"Well. Hello there. My name's Colin Washi, or the Eagleman. I am the Lieutenant Colonel of Sector 4 of the Vizard Corps, and I wondered what exactly you were doing in the middle of nowhere. Now, I can also tell you seem to be itching for a fight. I would be more than happy to help you with that, as long as we both observe some guidelines. First, no killing. It's wasteful to the extreme and makes me insane when someone with potential dies. Second, try to keep damage to the enviroment to a minimum. This rule typically doesn't apply to the wastelands, considering there is nothing here. That's why I like this place. Now, do you accept?"


Colin could tell there was another energy signature approaching them, and he was fairly certain that it had heard his rules as well. He was ready for the fight, focusing. He began gathering energy, mostly in his right hand and in his feet, the things he would be using the most. To help himself focus, he sat down, unsheathing his blade, drawing complicated patterns of slashes in the sand as they waited for the third...

Colin stood there, watching as the man made his move. He unsheathed his own zanpakto, opting not to release shikai yet for the time being. He let it drift lazily on the surface of the sand, but not piercing it. While it seemed relaxed, it was only so past his wrist. Beyond his wrist and up his arm his body was completely tensed. Then his cybernectic eye saw something. In the distance, he could make out the shape of 2 beings, who had just stepped before them. He frowned, as he could tell they were not human. Or any other type of living thing. One was in the shape of a human, but he could not sense any type of reiatsu from it. The other seemed to be an animal of some sort, and from this he detected shinigami reiatsu as well as other ones. This confused him. He appeared before them, having sensed them appear with the demon. He stood before them, the wind tugging at the back of his shirt, which was far too large for his small body, as it was made for a 20 year old man, not a beanpole like Colin.

As he stood before them, he pointed his zanpakto at them, his eyes focused and determined. He was ready to fight, to stop these two, because he could sense the traces of demon energy they were immersed in. He disappeared again with a shunpo, having appeared behind the Android Boy. His zanpakto was at a horizontal angle level with the boy's chest, and if it hit would be strong enough to slice him in too. Colin flicked his wrist, bringing the blade to a diagonal angle with the hilt level with the right side of his waist, in a defensive postition to block the counter attack. Then he slashed down, beginning an attack combo on the Boy. He slashed left, using the momentum to spin around, then brought around his right leg, trying to slam it into him. Then he performed a horizontal slash down to the right. He brought around his left hand as he did so, trying to slam the Boy in the face.

Then he hopped back a few feet, looking at the beast-like thing with suspicious eyes, as he knew it would most likely attack. He pointed his palm at it, having said an incantation as he had leapt back:

"Burning Blade, I call for your aid! Cut down the walls that have been made! Hado number 52 Enerugiburedo!"

Colin's left hand was crossed out to the right across his body, and he had performed a feint. Nothing happened from his palm, but from his left hand spawned a sword of pure energy, as wide as his hand and 15 feet long. He slashed horizontally with it, trying to hit both Android Boy and the BH1 as well. If it hit, it would make them feel as if they were on fire. It was a solid object, and as sharp as Colin's own reiatsu, which is quite a fair amount. Panting a bit now, he disappeared with hoho, reappearing next to Hiroshi's left side.

"Well, we now have two options. We can either have a battle royale. Or, we could team up temporairly to take on those lackeys. What's your choice?"

Colin watched as Hiroshi aided him, smiling. It's always better to be working together for survival than destruction, like these 5... Well... Better prepare myself... He thought as Hiroshi defended him with his scythe and sword. Colin appreciated the gesture, and acted accordingly. He spun around, preparing himself. He saw the Android boy attack him with the energy wave, and pointed his palm out in front of himself. He began the incantation as soon as his eye had sensed the buildup of reiatsu into the android boy's palm. However, when he saw Hiroshi stop it, he began searching for additional threats, noticing the BH1. He kept the kido in his hand, not releasing it yet. He brought his right hand, the one free of the kido, up to his face, smiling eerily. He pulled down as the BH1 released the immense reiatsu it had been saving, at the same time crying:

"Bakudo number 39: Enkosen!"

From in front of Colin's hand formed a shield that quickly spread around him. He had bent his knees, allowing him to save energy by not having to make the shield too big. It deflected the blast, gaining many small cracks and such from the multitude of objects that had resulted from the BH1's assault on Colin's person. Colin watched as Hiroshi fought beside him, and he focused on the BH1, but only briefly. His eye sensed that the demon who was controlling these things had cast some sort of spell and summonened forth three strange beasts. They were like nothing that Colin had ever seen before. Suddenly, the yellow one attacked him, opening its jaws. He wasn't able to activate another kido so quickly, so he decided to up the stakes a bit. As he watched the beast open its jaws to fire the accumulated energy, Colin acted. He reached up to his face faster than even his eye could see, and he pulled down on his hairline. As the bolt flew at him, his mask slid out into place in all its glory.

The mask was blue, with its eyes and beak. It seemed to stare down the energy blast flying towards it as it fired a cero it had in its hand, using it like a drape on the attack. It was nowhere near strong enough to stop it considering how little warning Colin had had to the beast's actions. However, the hollow's and Colin's energies still managed to press against it, giving Colin an extra split second of time while it was delayed to escape from the attack. He appeared behind the beast and a few feet from the BH1, his palms outstrectched. He cried through his beak and if his face could have been seen his enemies would have realized he was smiling, his eyes bright and alive. From both hands fired 2 more ceros, directly at thier targets. Then he disappeared again, appearing next to the BH1, as it was his primary concern. He had seen the shield and the ground where the attack was deflected, and knew he would have to take this thing first. He came down with his claws, then stopped immediately afterwards, pressing on his feet as hard as he could and dodging around the beasts counter-attack, slashing it as he passed. Then he began a series of jabs not unlike a boxers in quick succesion, moving constantly. The claws on his hands shot out with each jab, attempting to destroy his opponent. Then he pressed down on his feet as hard as he could and leaped up into the air at his full speed. He called down to the earth below:

"Oi Sugiuran! If you can, come up and join me! This just turned into an air battle, and if you saw my bankai you would know why you should get off the ground!"
