Re: The King of Heroes vs The Platinum Wall

Song: Mass Rapture - Artist: Diablo Swing Orchestra - Word Count: 4027]
And so, just like that, the battle had finally reached its climax. There were no regrets, nor was there a victor. But if one had to say that Gilgamesh was angered, this conjecture was the furthest thing from the truth. Over his entire lifetime, there were only few whom he could definitely recognize as an “Equal”. And today, in an unexpected turn of events, he had found another to add to the illustrious list. Daigoro Ito. To think that such a simple warrior had been able to scar the King so strongly. Certainly, those allowed to pay witness to this battle would’ve surely thought it a farce of the highest bidder. No matter the case, Gilgamesh was satisfied. There was now another person worthy of using his full power against to gain supremacy. And even if it took the King of Heroes a lifetime, he would defeat him cleanly. However, such events could not occur today. Both were injured to a point where fighting would only drive them towards the death. Gilgamesh was willing to settle on a draw, there was no need to kill him anymore. After all, that would not happen until an assured victory could be gained by the mighty hero king. Until then, he would settle for this result. “If you wish, a draw is what we shall settle on. Do fix those wounds of yours, soon. Taking the full brunt of my Enuma elish was absolute madness, but it would seem as though it paid off for you in the end. “With a small shrug, Gilgamesh smiled as Dai went towards his exit, leaving this battle-torn stage. Gilgamesh stared towards the sun through weary eyes, sneering at the irony of today’s battle. A man who he thought would last no more than seconds, had brought him into such a situation where he had to use his treasured weapon; the star o creation. There were so many mysteries surrounding young man, and the King was curious to unravel each one, but today… he would settle for this outcome. Slowly, ever so slowly, his body started to disappear, dissolving into a golden mist. Soon, nothing but small traces of golden spiritual particles could be found as he, too, exited the stage.
And with that…. The battle was over. There was neither a victor nor a loser, but surely, these two had created a bond of rivalry that would last time immemorial.
