Relaxing of the Soul

~Yukiko Yami~
Ah, the wonderful rivers of Rukongai. How beautiful, calming, and relaxing they are. Especially to a certain 8th division captain. How she loved coming here to soak her aching feet after a long days work, or when she got the chance to sneak out of course. Yukiko was never much into the whole working concept but it was her job of course, she had to do it. Though doesn't mean Yukiko couldn't go for a nice wash in the rivers or sitting by the river bank, thinking of personal things and things for her divison. Much like thinking of who was going to her Lieutenant or what is her next mission. Or things to help for the Shinigami's Woman Association. Either way she'd end up falling asleep.
Though this as the time of resting up from her stressful day. Her long white hair tied up as usual with her right eye covered by side bangs. Her soft red eyes scanning the area. This was one of her secret spots which she cherished so dearly. Her zanpakuto resting on her left side. Though a small phoenix spirit was perched on her shoulder. It was Akeno, her lovable zanpakuto spirit. "Yo, Yuki. Did you sneak out again?" He questioned with a snicker as he fluffed his feathers up. "No, I didn't," she said as she looked at the desired spot and smiled softly as she placed her zankaputo sword on the ground next to her.
She took off her white cloak then finally her whole kimono. Underneath was a fishnet shirt with some tight black leggings covering her thighs and ending near her knee's. She sighed softly as she slipped off her sandals off and dipped her delicate feet into the cool crisp waters. A smile plastered of her face with the look of relaxation. Akeno watched her from a tree branch right above the spot Yukiko, keeping a close eye on her like a hawk as he preened himself slightly, much like any other normal bird. His head snapped up when he heard a twig snap and some bushes rustle. His burning flame colored eyes staring at the bush that emitted sounds of disturbance.

Re: Relaxing of the Soul

A young teenager had the day off from any work today, since neither Arrancar nor the Shinigami had anything for her to do. What a drag. 'How...Ugh. I hate not having anything exciting to do...' the young girl thought to herself offensively. She figured the only thing to do, since she's been helping out the Shinigami's alot more often than not, would be to visit the lakes and rivers she's heard oh-so much about. They were said to have wonderful, glistening waters, shrouded behind many trees and bushes. People visited them as an awefully large attraction site, but no fees paid. Alyx wishes they could do that in Karakura town, but that's definately not how it worked there.
Alyx continued thinking about the strange differences in Ethics between the Shinigami, Humans, and Arrancars as she started to enter the woods through the wrong enterance. She didn't notice this, of course, since she was off in thought. She soon found herself lost within the dense forest, seeing that even the shadows casted by the pines and leaves of the trees were faded shades of green. The brunette started wondering if she should head back, looked backwards, and tripped over a rock, and fell into the soft soil, but really...not dry, but not wet. She got up and dusted off herself and saw a few stains on her pants, but shrugged. It was better dirt than blood, she supposes. "Every drop of sweat in training and excercize is one less drop of blood on the battlefeild" is what she told herself, after hearing the wise words of a video game voiceactor. After thinking about that, she decided to turn this into a nice jog, rather than just a visit to the lake. She ran down the easiest openings of the trees, jumping across some akwardly placed ditches and gaps. She wonders why they were set there, but ignored it.
Soon enough she started hearing the sound of water, she thinks. Though, she could be wrong. Since her eyesight was enhanced, her other senses are a bit weaker than the normal person's should be. This didn't bother her too much, but sometimes it was agonizing. She shrugged off that though and headed towards the faint sounds of rushing water. She accidentally stepped on a twig, which in turn alerted a squirell that was picking up some nuts to eat. "Oops. Sorry about that, feller~" Alyx chirped her apology towards the animal, which most likely didn't understand her, but hey, whatever. She then saw some bushes in the way of the water and brushed her hands through them and opened them to see the river running at a medium pace, in a calmingly swift motion. Alyx loved the clear water, with it's white hands that hit the sides of the rocks and gravel, and the splitting folds it made as it hit the rocks that poked through the surface. Smiling, she scanned across the area with her eyes, to reveal a girl who was ...staring at her. "Oh--I'm sorry to intrude!" Alyx said, with a nervous chuckled ending it, hopeing things weren't too weird.

~Yukiko Yami~
The girl raised an eye brow at this girl. She was strange one indeed, but Yukiko soon shook her head and closed her eyes once more to relax in the cold water, which her feet were now accustomed to the temperature. Akeno looked at Alyx, his head twitching to the sides every few seconds like a regular bird. Yukiko opens her lips slightly, inhaling a small breath of air before words formed. "What brings you here, child?" she said as she opened her peircing blood red eyes at Alyx. Truely this was an imitating sight. Though she wouldn't mean to of course.
"Yeah, what'cha doing here?" Akeno chirped as he flew down from his comfortable perch next to Yuki's right hand, keeping away from the water slightly as he glanced at the girl, ruffling his feathers up again as he slightly pecked the ground, successfully catching and eating a worm while waiting for an answer. "You know, not many people know of this place," Yukiko spoke once more as she closed her eyes and untied her hair, the beautiful white locks falling down and ending to the ground. She opened her eyes again as she splashed her feet in the water a little bit.
