Killer Intent (Urufu vs Narku)
Sat Aug 27, 2011 6:49 pm
The streets were cold. A harsh wind blew, generated over the sea and pushed throughout the city by a lesser breeze that grew in strength the more it blew across the city. The dense heat that previously occupied the space just above the ashpalt helped to exaggerate the cold wind, causing many whom had previously dressed for warmer weather to shiver. Unlike those pitiful, unintelligent baffoons, Urufu was perfectly content in his black dress pants. They blocked the chilly breeze enough to allow the young man to remain comfortable. Nevertheless, his black tuxedo jacket and lengthy spikes of blond hair whipped in the cool breeze, the tips of his ears turning a light red.
Walking through the streets with calm steps, Urufu passed through a dark alley completely unharmed. Emerging from the other side, he brushed of his pants, and carried on. Inside the alley were seven large-built gangmembers, skewered to the point of unrecognizability. Urufu's clothing and flesh sustained 0 blood stains from the 'fight', not that it could be called one. It was more of a slaughter. As he continued walking through the city, the sun lowered just slightly in the sky, pinning the time of day at roughly 7:30 pm. Despite the chill, it was a pleasant day.
Marching through the maze of silver that made up the city, Urufu wondered if he could get into a real fight. His little experiment had given him a craving for blood. He wondered how someone with even an iota of power would stand up to him. Glancing down at the snow-white gloves that covered his hands like a condom for his fingers, he questioned his own might. Glaring back up at the empy streets with his mauve eyes, he walked faster. Someone around here should be able to offer him a challenge. As the clouds in the sky swiftly cut through the blue high-ocean, his intensity manifested itself through his eyes as waves of killer intent. If you looked into those orbs, you knew your life was going to end quickly.

The boy was dressed perfectly for the cold weather. His tough leather jacket was perfect for blocking the chilled breeze. His feet making a loud thump sound on the asphalt of the cities ground. It was beginning to look like he would never find a clue to finding Zane, but it was clear to him, he would find him near strong opponents. He was always one to surround himself near power. He could sense the strength of a strong men nearby. The boy's footsteps hastened as he ran to catch up with the power he was feeling. It was beginning to become a chase of cat and mouse.
He slowed as he came around a corner. The boy's eyes were widened once he saw the grisly scene. Several human bodies disfigured, and mangled. Their was nothing he could really do for them. It was too late for the human's, whoever path they had cross it was their unfortunate end. It was than that he came to the conclusion that he need to put this spirit or being to rest for this crime. They probably had nothing to do with the monster that did this. His eyes looked up with a sense of duty, before he chased after this being again.
It wasn't long before he ran into a man dressed rather nicely. It was beginning to look like he was the one that cause all of this. He stared at his blonde hair as he showed no signs of being weakened from his race to him. The boy was sure his presence would make it apparent he had something to say to him. Subtly breezes begin to whip in the direction towards the guy, his coat and clothes begin to shake slightly " Did you kill those men. I just need to know...was it you?" He didn't sound heroic more like an amateur kid that had no idea what he was getting himself into. Though his fist was tightening up, it was obvious in his eyes that he was seriously angered by the lack of care for the human life he had seen before.

DId he kill those men? The question came at him with an odd ring to it, as if the speaker wasn't sure if he wished to know the answer or not. Turning to face he whom voiced his opinion, Urufu was almost happy to see the nosy busybody. "Why, of course it was." The large smile on his face showed no hint of remorse or guilt. Those who died weren't important. They were simply failed experiments. The average human didn't have enough durability or skill to survive long enough for Urufu to receive any workable data. But... Taking another glance at the man whom had asked him a question, Urufu grinned. Perhaps he did.
"Is there a problem with that?" Holding out his hand, Urufu concentrated lightly. A puff of black smoke appeared in front of the hand with a pop, obscuring him from view. As the black smoke was cleared away by the cool breeze, Urufu was holding a long, black sword with gold trim along the hilt and pommel. "Because if there is, I would love to work things out with you." Grinning demonically, the seal-user cracked his neck. Although the white gloves had a bit of black on the surface from the smoke that was a result of the summoning, he didn't mind. It would wash out. It always washed out.
"Come at me, bro." The words dropped from his lip like honey, a sickeningly sweet tone ringing on the edge of it. It told all who could hear it that Urufu was going to enjoy this, like a particularly sugary candy eaten by someone on a diet. Swinging the sword once, Urufu adjusted his grip so the balance was right. The black blade cut through the air with a whoosh, before it came to rest. The tip of the blade, which drew up from the hilt with two waves, pointed at the ground beneath Urufu. Bending his knees slightly, Urufu concentrated on the soul of the ground beneath his feet, readying himself for battle.

The boy took a good look at the man's face it was almost like looking as if he wasn't sorry. He even answered it with a tone that said he enjoyed it " Why of course ?" A strong breathe of air blew out his nose, his breathing begin to increase as his fist tightened even more " You say that like you knew what you were doing, Like you didn't care for them having life at all" His white reiatsu begin to spark up around his body. The small veins that showed his anger begin to pop up on his hand. The brown boots begin to inch towards the men slowly as he begin to talk like it didn't matter.
" Is there a problem with that " He strained desperately not to jump on the men from afar. Kon wasn't sure if it was Michael's influence or his own sense of justice that cause this intense rage in him. A whisping sound was heard as ominous black smoke puffed in his hand, soon covering his whole body. This didn't sway Kon's vision from him, he continued to stare at men until the breeze blew it away and showed a blade in his hand. Ignoring the man's taunts; Kon simple held his hand out to the side, palm facing up. A white energy engulf his hand in a orb then shaped out quickly into a blade. Michael's blade " Orion "
Dropping the blade to the ground cause a loud CLANG sound to ring through the area. His crimson eyes sunk to that of a cold nature " You're so proud of yourself arn't you." The boy's feet slowly begin to move at a walking pace towards the men " Let's see just how proud you are once I'm done with you." It took a second for him to speed into a dash towards the man, holding the claymore with one hand, his feet tap quickly on the ground as he rampage towards the man. Large streaks of amber colored sparks jumped from the asphalt. The adrenaline pumped through him as he leaped up to his opponent, swinging the blade down on the shoulder of this demon. The white haired boy's free hand opened up and glowed brightly before he released a single shot of seraphic energy on the guys face. His feet landed on the ground as he ran forwards a little and turned back towards the guy.

The moment his opponent started coming towards him, Urufu summoned a very special little throwing knife into his hand. This dagger had three blades at it's end, and possessed a very fun seal. Throwing it to his side, the three blades sunk into the ground, biting through the cold earth and stabilizing. That would be for later, however. Getting ready, Urufu continued his conversation as a black reiatsu welled up on his gloves, thickening into an ink like substance.
"No, you misunderstand. It was because they were living that I attacked them. It is my personal honor to test everyone's limits. I want to see just how far they can be pushed before dying." Dropping low and curving to the side, Urufu slapped his hand against his opponent's blade, pushing it away from him. Of course, this wasn't the only reason he touched it. The hand that he slapped it with was the very same hand that his reiatsu had previously concentrated on. The blade of his opponent now contained one of Urufu's seals.
"So very proud.. for why should I not be?" As the seraph energy fired for his face, Urufu disappeared. There was a puff of black smoke, and the young man reappeared where the kunai he had previously thrown was positioned. That was the specialty of the seal placed on it. It was also the same seal that he had just placed on Kon's sword. Grinning, Urufu couldn't believe the ease in which the seals were responding to him. Holding out his hand once more, there was a puff of black smoke. Before it could be revealed what was summoned, Urufu activated the seal he had just placed.
Disappearing and reappearing in a larger puff of black smoke, Urufu had been repositioned in the air. Floating just above his opponent's sword, he swung his heavy blacksmith hammer at the boy's hand, hoping to shatter the bones and render his swordsmanship useless. Because of the black smoke that appeared, hopefully he wouldn't be able to react due to vision obstruction. Either way, Urufu was content. Using the soul in the air to help him stay afloat, Urufu swung his favorite sword, Faust, threw the air. The steel whistled, howling, as it arced through the space. It was aimed for Kon's throat.

Kon took great notice of the man's movements during the battle. It wasn't just something you would look over, when in combat. Every single move from the tossing of the three blade weapon, to the tapping of his hand against Orion. They all held some significant meaning behind them and he wasn't gonna let them surprise him. The man was very agile, it took little for him to dodge that attack and move out the way " So you toyed with them before you killed them huh? " His hand gripped the hilt of his blade before the man slide, feeling the small clap of him touching the blade. So he had some skill under his belt, it would mean nothing to the justice he planned to deliver to him once the battle was done. Beings like him was badder than demons.
He landed on his toes, turning around quickly to face the opponent that was behind him. Kon's face scowled up as he realized the waste of seraphic energy. As the black smoke begin to pile up, his eyes slowly cover itself in the translucent vision of an angel's. Being capable of seeing through it, nothing that the man would do behind the darkness was hidden from the boy. Urufu vanished from behind the puff of smoke and appeared where the previous kunai was. It didn't take long for the scholar to put two and two together. Those marking was obviously some seal for transportation or some kind of high speed movement. This would be difficult to get around, especially if he planned using them every time Kon was going to attack.
Kon started in a dash towards him but stopped once he seen the puff of smoke appear again. It didn't take long for him to come up with two possible places he would show up. Accounting in the probable fact that he placed a seal on his blade when he touched it. He could pop up somewhere close by, or it was just a ploy and he'll be near the kunai again. As he appeared again he carried a large hammer in his hand, Kon was right, he appeared right above his blade and this gave Kon his chance. The boy's leather boots repelled him away from the hammer to the side of the Urufu. Now it was his turn to attack.
Kon almost immediately turned himself towards the man and let loose a rapid succession of seraphic shots. His hand was place towards the man as he expected him to use one of the seals , he readied himself. Though he wasn't hesitant to go on full assault. He halted his blasts and rushed towards the man with a slash from his giant blade Orion." So you think it's okay to torture beings weaker than you." The more he talked to the guy the angrier he became. Kon hadn't showed this much anger in a long time and he planned to release it all on him.
