Starrk vs Kenpachi

(based on canon, no bias since THEY ARE BOTH DAMN AWESOME)

Simple question. Who wins?


Well I'll TELL YOU WHO WINS!

Speed: Starrk. Thats a given.

Strength: Goes to Kenpachi easily

Reitsu Size: Honestly? Best Guess: Starrk. Before Aizen, he killed Hollows just by being NEAR them in unreleased. By Fake Karakura, I bet he could be harmful to average/weak Arrancar. However, Zarakis Reitsu is considered monstrous even among captains.

Intelligence: Starrk. Even in Tite Kubos stats, Zaraki only has 50, ans Starrk is probably on Shunsuis level.

Durability: Starrks Hierro is monstrous, taking no damage from a direct hit by Loves Shikai. Zaraki has a low level passive Reitsu armor, getting cut by Ichigos Shikai -_-

CQC: Zaraki is fast and has MONSTROUS strength, but Starrk is faster. Zaraki would be hard-pressed to land a single blow (but if he did, Starrk could get fucked up).

Fighting Styles: Zaraki fights CQ, while Starrk prefers range. Zaraki isnt fast enough to get close to him. And Starrks Ceros would be very effective. Zaraki blocked a single, average Cero from an unreleased Nnoitra. Could he take 1000 Ceros from Starrk? Fuck no. And thats without considering Gran Rey Cero and Cero Oscuras.

Cero power=Reitsu size/power.

Larger Reitsu=Stronger Cero

Starrk has a VASTLY superior Reitsu than Nnoitras, as Nnoitra is the 5th Espada, and Starrk is number 1, ie highest Reitsu of all Espada (FUCK YAMMY), since Espada rank is based on Reitsu, otherwise Baraggan would be Primera cause of HAX Respira, etc. Thus, even a single Cero would be harmful to Zaraki.


Overall: Starrk. Sorry fanboys, but this isnt the best fight for Zaraki. But it would be a long fight.....since we all know ZARAKI KENPAHI DOESNT GIVE UP

Let me tell you this thing.

Tosen's Bankai = Could not even defeat kenpachi.

Sajin Komamura's Bankai = Could not defeat kenpachi.

Zanpakuto Rebellion = not even most of the zanpakuto spirit could defeat kenpachi.

Byakuya = Its unknown and maybe either a tie, kenpachi wins or lose.

Ichigo = because of his so damn reiatsu, even ichigo can feel a sword that was pointing at his neck.

Starrk = ehhh!Since his reiatsu and durability is so damn immense and like a damn monster, he could even defeat starrk.Starrk doesn't have the "strongest hierro".So, kenpachi's eyepatch and strength can easily overwhelm starrk with his strength, durability and speed.

Except for the fact that Kenpachis durability is low seeing as how Ichigos SHIKAI cut him. And Kenpachi is NOT fast. He has no speed feats whatsoever. And if you reference his ONE speed feat from the 3rd or whatever move, youll get shot. His speed is AVERAGE at best. And Starrk is much more intelligent as well.

I do want to bring up a discrepancy and a fan theory that I've heard that might clear up some of this, specifically pertaining to the Ichigo thing.

Compare the power of all of the Captains(Zaraki included) during the Soul Society arc and the Hueco Mundo Arc. All of the captains appear to be a great deal stronger during that Hueco Mundo Arc than they did during the Soul Society arc. Pertaining to Zaraki, I've heard several different reasonings are to how this happened; the ones that make the most sense to me are either:

1) Aizen was altering the outcomes of the fights, both to possibly weaken the forces he would have to deal with down the line and to see where Ichigo would go since he was the most recent Vizard seen. Some fans believe that either Ichigo was getting a boost from Aizen or that the captains were getting a downgrade.

2) This pertains to Zaraki alone, since the discrepancy in power is the most notable with him between the arcs. After his fight with Ichigo, Zaraki acknowledged the existence of his Zanpaku-tou, and even asked for its name. My thought is that the zanpaku-tou's response was "FUCK OFF" and that was all. However, during Ichigo and Zaraki's first fight Zangetsu notes that Zaraki's Zanpaku-tou is basically working against him, acting as a built in limiter on top of everything else that Zaraki does to limit himself. It is possible that while Zarkai did not learn the name of his Zanpaku-tou, his Zanpaku-tou may have ceased working against him, thus allowing him the use of his full power.

Now both of these are only theories, and good luck getting Kubo to answer anything about that. Its my personal opinion that the fight would be pretty damn even between the two; Zaraki has proven to be damn quick when he wants to be, durable like a boss, and absolutely destructive when he hits. Starrk has a great deal of power, speed, and guns. I just wanted to posit some ideas to consider concerning the discrepancy between the power levels of the characters between the arcs.

Those are some good points, but I personally believe Kenpachi would have one the fight against Ichigo, had he used Kendo to its max. And now that I think about it, using a fight against Ichigo is unfair, seeing as how Tite tends not to let him lose fights. But that doesnt change the fact that Nnoitra still damaged Kenpachi in sealed state, even IF Kenny was patched or didnt use Kendo.

I still believe it would be an easy win for Starrk, since he uses ranged attacks and very rarely fights CQ, meanwhile Ken ONLY fights CQ. And he hasnt shown any speed feats, so I doubt his speed is above average. Though, it would probably take awhile for him to go down.
