Personality: Deadpool, most of the time, acts like he has mental problems. He doesn't take ANYTHING seriously, and is constantly joking around and making references from the Real World (that nobody else gets). He's constantly doing something stupid at the most inappropriate time, such as trying to flirt with his best friend's secretary while he's missing, or stopping to read a comic book (about himself, of course) while being chased by a giant monster. When he's bored, he usually mocks boy scouts and kidnaps vegetarians to force-feed them with meat, just for the heck of it.

Under that disguise, however, lies a very serious and sly personality. For example, he'd betray even his own mother, if given enough money. And rarely, when the situation really, REALLY calls for it, he can also be very serious. As he himself put it: "The role of the idiot is fun until someone starts believing it's true". This "role" is most likely either a device he uses to fool his opponents and deceiving them into thinking he was weaker than he actually is, a tool to keep people away from his tragic personality, or both.

Zanpakutô Spirit: Deadpool's Zanpakuto spirit is a giant red-black monster, and, although it has a real name, Deadpool calls him "Hulkpool", due to his similarity with his fellow Marvel character, The Hulk.

His swords and guns merge, creating two big Gunblades
Shikai Abilities: He can shoot Spirit particles AND fight with them as swords at the same time.

Bankai Description:
Deadpool's costume is completely torn from the waist up (although, if he feels like it, he'll rip off his pants too, just for the heck of it), and the blades enter through his skin, making them retractable at will. (His appearance is similar to the one in the climax of "Origins: Wolverine")

Bankai Abilities: While in Bankai, he can teleport on short distances (actually, it's just very enhanced Shunpo, but he calls it "teleportation" to make it sound more awesome) and shoot lasers from his eyes (aside from fighting with his two giant blades coming out of his wrists). The lasers are actually concentrated waves of spirit particles, similar to those he shoots at while in Shikai, but only more powerful. The only downside is that his mouth is sealed shut, causing Deadpool to hate his Bankai with a passion.

History/Background: As a human, Deadpool had a very tragic life. He spent most of his life in the military, as a promising (and quite sane) young man. Soon, however, he was diagnosed with cancer, and his DNA had to be merged with a mutant's (Wolverine). That's how he gained his healing factor. But soon, the situation called for his firing from the military, and (as every other ex-military mutant) was sent to the Hospice, a seemingly peaceful place for mutants deemed too dangerous to return in society. In reality, however, the Hospice was a dark and terrible place, where a mad doctor did horrible experiments on the inmates. It was there that all of Deadpool's skin was horribly scarred as a result of an unsuccessful experiment. Despite the torture, the man bore his suffering with a smile. The shock came when the doctor decided to make it personal, and lobotomized Deadpool's best friend. This drove him into madness, and caused him to organize an outright rebellion in the Hospice. It was a success, and Deadpool left. With his true self (Wade Wilson) practically rendered unusable due to his damaged skin, the man took the identity of Deadpool (he took the name from a game the guards played at the Hospice, in which they placed bets on how long each prison will live). With that new attire, he quickly became the world's deadliest mercenary. And, as such, had many adventures and battles, until one day he decided to play a practical joke on a comrade by putting glue on his grenades. The joke backfired when Deadpool was the one who took the unlucky grenades, and even the world's biggest healing factor couldn't save him from the huge explosion that followed.

As he found himself in Soul Society, Deadpool found out he still had his memories, his battle skill... and his self-awareness. His first words in Rukongai were "DAMN YOU, TITE KUBO!!!!". From there, he continued his life as a mercenary, developing many new weapons for him to use, including two completely functional pistols, but no ammo for them (as he couldn't find any gunpowder in Soul Society whatsoever), so he usually resorts to drawing them and shouting "BANG!" out loud when he needs to use them. Surprisingly, it's super-effective.

Roleplay Sample: Deadpool was standing on a rooftop, observing the beautiful sunset in Soul Society, He carefully moved his eyes towards the two swords he had put near him, and the two guns on the other side. The metal was shining, almost giving the deadly tools an angelic look. The young man sighed. So many things were going through his head at that moment. His friends, and family, all left behind in the Real World. Even the girls from the bar across the street couldn't entertain him anymore with their huge "Ridler, can you please keep the narrating down? I'm watching the friggin' sunset here!"
Uhm, what...? How can you hear me narrating? Nobody can! "Yes they can! You're so loud! Even a deaf granny could hear you!" Uhm, I'm pretty sure that characters aren't supposed to "Alright, you know what, just shut up. Darn, you speak more than Oprah on an "Oprah's Show" marathon! You know what, just shut up, and I'll go do something by myself!" Uhm, how exactly does that "Can it! I'm going to find the plot! And you stay quiet before I shove this roleplay sample you put me in right up your..." Alright, geez! Why the hell am I even using a character that's self-aware! Fine, I'll just shut up, let's see how good you can do without me narrating everything!

Aha! I told you you can't do anything without me narrating! Now will you start acting like a normal character, or do I have to shut up again, completely cutting the action down? "OK, fine! But I have a condition! Keep it fast, and don't get into too much detail! It sounds gay!" Uhm, OK, whatever... So... With one quick movement, Deadpool grabbed both his swords AND the guns, then jumped down, landing effortlessly. With his newly-formed pact with the player to ignore each other's existences, at least for a while, Deadpool's quest to find the Plot was about to begin...

Edit: By the way, the "fair use law" basically says that I can use ANY copyrighted property as long as I don't cost money to the original owner or don't make money myself. That's how reviews and fan-stuff (fanfictions, fancomics, or even fanfilms) work. Just saying.
