Yoshiko has medium length hair that she keeps either in a ponytail or bun, and keeps her bangs down, able to cover her red eyes. She wears the normal shinigami attire with her zanpakuto strapped to her waist behind her, parallel to the ground. When in her gigai she wears sneakers, nice fitting jeans, a loose tshirt, and a comfortable jacket.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Personality:
Yoshiko is usually seen with a blank, bored, uninterested look. She’s a very complex person so to say. With her up bringing, she has theorized to the point that anyone who gets close to her simply dies and that attachments, rather family, friends, or lovers, only bring pain, sorrow and are weakness.

With that being said, she tends to watch how people react to their surroundings, or to other people. She finds that some people are more interesting and amusing than others, and will sometimes be intrigued on why a person acts and why they act for a certain cause. She tends to be perspective, noticing details that sometimes other people miss.

Even though Yoshiko keeps herself locked away, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have emotions, it’s just simply how she shows them. She tends to be reckless when fighting, pushing comrades out of the way and taking the hit, to save them and to only ensure that she’s the only casualty. In a way, that’s her way of showing concern for others safety. She tends to be blunt when she talks, however it’s only in the good intentions (I.e. “That’s just simply how life is, you can’t just sit there weeping, you need to get up and go. Time doesn’t stop, it never has and it never will, you and others need to get over that fact and move on.”)

Deep within, Yoshiko does in fact want to be able to open up, it’s just trusting not only herself but others before that happens. Because of her nature, she tends to have bad social skills, considering she makes ever encounter as if she’s about to battle, which tends to be blunt and upfront. It also does not help that Yoshiko tends to stay away from crowded areas, taking a liking to more secluded, quiet place, such as a valley or forest, where the only thing to bother her are the animals.

B A C K G R O U N D

History/Background: Yoshiko was born in 1753. Due to that time period, she died at the young age of six due to lack of food and medical attention. Yoshiko was placed in the 76th District and left to fend for herself. Alone, distraught and afraid, Yoshiko lived almost a month on her own before two couples, appearing in their mid thirties, decided to take Yoshiko in and care for her as their own child.

For a few years, Yoshiko lived a happy life with her ‘parents’ and she had no worries in the world. However, when the Quincy’s and Shinigami started to battle, it even set the lower districts in a mess. In a cross fire, Yoshiko’s parents were killed and Yoshiko was left to live alone again. Until Yoshiko entered the Shino Academy, she thrived off of stealing and cheating to get food and to stay in live in general. Before she entered, she became known as the ‘quick thief’ since people didn’t know Yoshiko’s name and they didn’t realize that she stole from them until she was long gone.

When Yoshiko entered the Academy, she found that Kido was her weakness. She struggled to get out even the simplest of Kido and finally gave up once the back fire of the spells became to dangerous. She found that her strong point was melee and her analytical skills. Yoshiko was more to asset the position of her enemy and put up a strong defense and observe her enemy before she would make a one hit move, if she was lucky enough.

Throughout her Academy years, she was able to make a few friends, especially a lover, Yokuen. Her and Yokuen were always seen together. They both had the same moral ideal, ‘to protect those who need protecting, to save those who need saving.’ Both came from lower districts and knew how hard it was to survive and how little to no help that each district got, both Yoshiko and Yokuen wanted to join the Gotei 13 and to strive for help for all, no matter race, district or age.

However, in their last year, Yokuen was caught in a tragic training accident and severely injured, before he wasn’t able to be saved and passed away. Devastated, Yoshiko tried to continue on, before she finally started to lock herself away from everyone and focused more on her training to get stronger to be able to stop something like this from happening again.

When Yoshiko was placed in the Gotei, she was placed in the 2nd Division for her analytical tactics, but was still a low, unseated officer. For several years, Yoshiko watched comrades die, not being able to protect them before she finally stopped trying to make friends and locked herself away from the world. It was only 50 years from the present time that Yoshiko decided that the Gotei wasn’t doing anything to help further her strength or ideal and in the middle of the night fled, believe that since she was just a low unseated officer, that no one would notice her or even care.

To this day, Yoshiko wanders around from town to town, kept in her gigai unless she goes to fight a hollow, believe that this is the only way she can to help protect those who cannot see the threat and to save lives that need to be saved.

Zanpakutô Spirit Name: Ansatsu ( lit. Assassin)

Appearance:
Ansatsu is a lean built, tall man that is clad in all black attire, with his lower face covered in black cloth. He has short shaggy black hair and his left eye is blue, while his right eye is covered by an eye patch, considered blind

Inner World: Yoshiko’s inner world is simply darkness. In the world of an assassin, they are neither to be seen or heard. Ansatsu shows himself, or brings Yoshiko in, only when he believes he’s needed or Yoshiko needs his assistance

Sealed Zanpakutô Apperance : A simple black bladed kodachi with a dark blood red hilt

Sealed
Zanpakutô Abilities: With one drop of blood, Ansatsu is able to get the enemy’s past, memories and fighting styles and able to relay them to Yoshiko within an instant. However, it is limited. If the enemy has amnesia or has placed a well placed barrier around their mind, then Ansatsu is unable to access their memories and such. (It should be noted that Ansatsu cannot predict what the user will do in the future, such as future attacks or plans, it merely shows the past fighting styles and what the user has gone through in their life). Ansatsu can only hold up to three people’s memories and such, and can erase them when need be.

Shikai Description: Ansatsu has the ability to take form of whosever he’s cut (within the limit of those three memories being stored) and can take their abilities, personality, physical appearance, and even voice.

Shikai Abilities: With Ansatsu being able to take the persons ability he’s able to fight just like the person, able to ‘give the person a taste of their own medicine’ type of power. However, with that being said, his power is limited just as much as the person he’s taking form of. For example, if the user doesn’t know bankai, then Ansatsu cannot access nor use the person’s bankai.

Sample:
It was a rather… bland day, Yoshiko thought. She looked outside the window the tea shop she had taken refuge in. People were walking hastily to their destinations, trying to be on time to their meetings, trying to not let their date wait too long, or just trying to get home. Cars passed by at such a fast pace, children played and laughed as they ran towards the park about three blocks away from the shop, holding baseball bats, balls, kites and such, all to enjoy the day. It slightly amused Yoshiko.

She glanced back into the tea shop. It was small, but there weren’t many people, only two besides Yoshiko, and they had taken up residence in the back, leaving the front open to the seemingly young girl. Yoshiko took another drink of her tea, before she placed the cup down and paid for it. Then quietly got up and left, making herself leisurely around the city.

She had been here for a few days, she figured after another three days, if no hollows or other threats showed up, she’d simply leave and go to a different town and see if they were in need of unknowingly assistance. This is what Yoshiko preferred; to help without people knowing. She zipped her jacket up, noticing how much colder it was becoming, maybe rain was coming. Looking up, she saw the once blue sky now a gray color that screamed it was going to pour down.

With a sigh, she made her way to a near by alley way, leaning against the brick wall. A tedious life she lived, one that she sometimes wished to break free, but that meant one thing; attachments. Something that Yoshiko would not allow herself to have, not with her knowledge anyways. She looked up as there was thunder, and a sudden drop in the rain. As long as shinigami didn’t come after her, she was fine with this life. Besides, no one would come after a low unseated officer, she was no threat to the Gotei 13 or any other royal families.

She was just a soul, saving other souls.

Comments/Notes: Everything seems fine with this app apart from the sealed powers. If you are gonna have an ability like that, you are going to have to go into much more detail about how it works other then just using a drop of blood. Please describe what all needs to done before hand, how the transfer works, one more limitation to it and lower it down to two people before going through with this technique.
