Personality:
Generally, Altair is seen to be quite serious and focussed on his work, yet with an arrogant side that most can become quite frustrated with. Although there have been times that he has forsaken what he knows as the Creed in order to fulfill his own goals, he has returned to it in the past, and now continues to swear by it, by the words that he himself created as Grand Master. He has great respect for the dead, choosing only to assassinate those who have brought it upon themselves, and making sure that he receives as much information from them as possible.

However, there have been times where Altair has been seen as "rough", and, as such, he has developed an ideal where he truly perceives the lines and motions of the world around him, having developed himself into a purely calm and focussed individual. That is not to say, of course, that he is incapable of love, or compassion. He has simply hidden these feelings for the greater good and the peace to all things. He knows that there will be time to fall in love when the world is finally at peace.

Superhuman Strength: As a primarily strength-based fighter, Altair has received a boost in his strength like no other; with full momentum behind it, his entire strength, and the wish to land a proper blow, Altair can exert up to one ton of force with the maximum power; however he generally averages anything from about half a ton to 0.6 tons of force. In terms of strength, he is far more powerful than Ezio.

Superhuman Endurance: To keep up close combat against multiple individuals, Altair required a high amount of endurance. The Apple of Eden has granted him that boost, allowing him to keep up physical endurance for a high amount of time, letting him stay at a full sprinting speed for over five-hundred meters at a time before having to rest.

Increased Speed: Despite not possessing any sort of "step", Altair has the physical strength to be able to run at quite a high pace. Although this cannot compare to Ezio's own agility and the like, he is still quite formidable when it comes down to it.

Increased Agility: Unlike his partner Ezio, Altair is not amazingly agile in terms of free-running. While he can keep up with some of his partner's movements, it is not easy for him to keep up with all of them; and, as such, he is usually left behind. However, in a straight line, Altair's charge is just as quick and formidable.

At several points in his life, Altair had the Apple. While he had originally used it to create, he found that it was also capable of recording. He wasn't completely sure how he was doing it, but he put the exact method he had used into his own Codex pages, hoping that someone would, some day, be able to add to it in the future. He had also found another thing he could record into the Apple, but decided to leave that way until he knew it would be good.

His first point of recording was just after the killing of the nine Templars, and his subsequent promotion to Grand Master of the Assassin Order. When he recorded his memory within the Apple, he found that it was easier to handle life like this, with the thought of the memories being held by something that he could protect with ease.

The next two times he recorded his memories, were when he had started promoting the Assassin's Order around the cities of the Holy Land, and when he finally finished his library in Masyaf.

His final recording, however, was different. On his deathbed, Altair chose to record something else before he died. He recorded his soul, and imprinted it within the Apple, his body finally dying happy, but his soul remaining trapped within his single Apple. The next time he would awake, he would be in a new time and place.

This Apple was taken through history, until present day, when a large force caused it to awaken within itself. They don't really know what it was, but the Apple suddenly formed itself into a core, creating the form of Altair around it to protect itself, staying as the center of his powers and his form. He met with another Assassin; a man who he supposedly was an ancestor of, and the pair began to explore this strange new world.
