The flash of light would have subsided, revealing Shindou in full takeover state, he was surrounded by a golden glow, looking very relaxed for his old age. "Ahhh, thank you Yuudoku." Shindou said with such a humble voice, even though he'd been cooped up within Yuudoku for a week straight. Yuudoku mumbled something resembling a you're welcome before he went to sleep, he rarely yet Shindou take over when he was awake. Shindou had been waiting an extremely long time, but he could feel how close he was to fully awakening. He held himself back however, it could still be 10 years too early to have such feelings, so he pushed them aside to begin training as he always did. He gazed at the beautiful vivid valley beneath him. The sun was just rising over the horizon, creating a picture perfect image as Shindou watched from atop Mount Malor. He had never trained atop the mountain before, and he found it to be quite the experience. He took a deep breath, saving the crisp clean mountain breeze before he closed his eyes. He re-opened them, calmed, his mind at ease ready to begin his training.
Immediately after opening his eyes Shindou geppo'd several hundred feet into the air above the mountain in a single jump. He then shoot on air using a platform of chi before lifting one leg upwards, bending it at an angle so it connected with his other leg, then bringing his palms together in front of himself in a concentration stance. "RE-LEASE" He yelled, emphasizing the second syllable. From that a massive amount of golden haze seeped from his being. It traveled straight upward as if terrified of Shindou's power. He then moved his hands blindingly fast powered by is muscular arms. After a flurry of palm thrusts a small ball of compressed air was in front of his hand. He had been compressing the air between thrusts and an invisible wall of compressed air. He then slowly moved his arm backwards, to fire a bullet-like punch at the ball, a massive explosion of air shooting forward followed. He redirected all the energy forward by tightly compressing the chi around the explosion. To anyone watching it would have seemed as if this was easy. But compressing air without physical contact merely by manipulating his chi was extremely difficult. He was able to do what he did simply because of hundreds of years of training.
But his move didn't stop there, he geppo'd, faster than the explosion of air, directly in front of it. There he grunted at the strain of his next move, re-compressing the blast of air back into a tiny white ball. He continued doing this back and forth for a good couple hours. Every day he put more energy into the ball, increasing the force of the blast, and strained himself to let less and less energy dissipate. At the beginning of his training his dissipation rate was 40% a couple hundred years ago. Now it was less than a fraction of a percent. After he was done training that, he shot the chi ball down towards the mountain top. It traveled at roughly mach four, impacting the mountain and literally ripping a 200 foot deep hole into the mountain. The hole was a foot in diameter, a good idea to how precise his shock-waves were. The first time he tried something like that, the blast simply knocked a huge chunk of the mountain off, no tunneling whatsoever. He thanked the world for allowing him to live this long and tone his skills this well. Every day he gave thanks for being alive, it was something he had to do. If he didn't he wouldn't feel he had the right to be alive.
Shindou then set out to create the strongest attack he had ever done, which he strives to do every day. He calmed his breathing, focusing his chi so that it flowed in sync, his chi patterns becoming orderly and controlled. From there he began to channel a massive chunk of his chi from his body, forcing it to slowly rotate in a wheel. It was a massive sphere of chi, 1000 meters wide, it spun above his head as he concentrated. He then smashed he palms together once more, grunting with effort, his face straining. The chi ball above him compacted extremely quickly, into a ball the size of a penny. A blinding sphere, made of pure chi, but he wasn't done yet, he yelled in determination" HAAAAAAAAAA.." The sphere slowly shrank smaller and smaller, to about half the size of a pea. It was blinding to look at, yet seemingly stable. But it wasn't, Shindou strained himself to keep it that size, pushing his limits beyond what he's ever done. His concentration was completely focused on the sphere, he continued like this for a whole 20 minutes. The sweat seeming to pour of his body as he did it. Once he knew he couldn't hold it any more, he let it increase in size by about half a centimeter, dramatically decreasing the strain. He kept it like this for 2 hours, his mind state was completely focused, utterly concentrated on a single thing.
He slowly enlarged the sphere, care to not let it explode outward, without much chi to shield himself it would probably have been fatal. He freed his mind as soon as the chi was stable, absorbing a large portion into himself to renew his strength. Once he had finished, he calmed himself once more, stabilizing his chi flows throughout his body. He suddenly geppo'd to the left, without a sound, his speed far too much for a normal eye to handle, appearing two yards to the left. He then did the reverse, shifting back to the right to where he first started. He continued doing this for a while, his body seeming to flicker along the 3 places he stopped at. Eventually he switched his direction, going forwards and backwards. He was practicing his Geppo strafing, doing almost all directions from diagonals to backwards throughout a couple hours. He practiced this often, as dodging was an extremely important aspect of fighting. Once he finished doing 200 repetitions of each direction he shifted began to Geppo in random directions, as if he had a die in his mind, rolling it each time so that not even he knew which direct he'd do next. When he geppo'd he gave no body hint as to the direct he was going, so even a keen observer would have had no idea which direction he'd go next.
His movements slowly increased as he got into the flow of what he was doing, as he hit the tip of his speed he continued forth for a couple minutes, he also laid a trail of chi wherever he went. He then stopped instantly without warning, taking a moment to analyze the scribble of chi in the sky. He found each direction choice was random enough, no favoritism to a direction which an opponent might pick up. He then began calm his chi one more, making it flow rhythmically throughout his body. As he did so a golden layer of chi began to envelope his figure in a Shunko-like technique. It, along with the large amount of chi sealed within his muscles gave his almost god-like strength, and ridiculous speed. One he was in this state, he calmed himself even more, the chi starting to seem beneath his clothing and hug his skin like another layer, focusing its effect. It also make his skin radiate in color, making him seem as if he was a divine being, his robe flowing delicately in the wind. He took a moment, standing there perfectly still, soothing himself with the morning breeze.
Suddenly he thrust his fist forward sending a shock-wave ripping through the air, following it with another and then another, the punches flowing one after another. The time in between each bunch began to decrease, his arms slowly blurring faster and faster. In barely any time at all he was doing a thousand punches per minute, anything in front of him would have been annihilated by the flurry of shock-waves. But that wasn't all, each shock-wave had its decibels dramatically increased to the thousands. A normal human easy goes deaf to something over 150 decibels within a few seconds, the force of the sound was also immense, almost like the shock-waves except he did not direct the sound. Normal clothing would have been ripped to shreds by this demonstration of power, but Shindou's robe had been infused with his chi and sewn by his own hands. Despite that it was thrashing back and forth, blurred like his arms with each punch. The mass of compressing and decompressing air along with the oscillation of it from the sound waves caused the entire area around him for a couple hundred meters to blur and increase in temperature.
If a normal human were to appear next to him while he was rapidly punching like this, they'd be torn around like a rag-doll before having their insides liquified and whatever was remaining ripped apart as if inside a blender. On top of all this, Shindou was doing something rather amazing, he was deciphering what people were saying from over 10,000 feet away. He's able to do this because of a special technique he devised to take care of his sound issues. All incoming sound has to pass a barrier outside Shindou's eardrum that he constantly makes, any and all sound is reduced to a specific clear volume for Shindou to process. A normal human would be easily overwhelmed by this, but through hundreds of years of training Shindou was able to separate specific sounds and discard unwanted ones. He was also able to find the origin of any sound by deciphering the direction of the sound-wave and it's distance by its volume. The indescribably faint sound-waves from the village voices further encrypted and morphed by the hectic atmosphere around Shindou. Nevertheless he was still able to single out conversations, then Shindou noticed something new.
He had found he was never able to actually understand what people where says when he did this, usually it was only muffled noises and a word or two here and there. But this was different, he heard their voices, their tones. He was awed by this and immediately stopped punching, doing this caused the sound to become even from vibrant. It was as if his level of hearing had doubled, Shindou was amazed, he took a couple minutes fascinated, listening intently to mortal conversation among families and friends, he felt like a god. Something must have changed while he was punching, he felt different. As if something was changing within himself.. but that was just the beginning. A tiny little fracture appeared on his arm, letting out a bright white light, Shindou turned his attention to it, surprised, he was about to touch it when the crack suddenly enlarged, stopping his other hands movement. Then the cracks suddenly started appearing all over his body "What's.. happening.. ?" he remarked with disbelief. The cracks soon covered his body, slowly widening as they let off a blinding light.".. A dream? No.. it can't be."
He was consumed by a bright light, shining forth out of the cracks, he was over-whelmed with a sensation of renewal. All his fatigue from the training seemed to slip away, as if it was removed from his being. Suddenly all time seemed to freeze for Shindou, he couldn't hear anything as the light kept getting brighter and brighter, except his eyes weren't hurting at all from it, he couldn't feel anything, he was paralyzed. And then, he heard the sound of glass breaking, it echoed throughout his mind as the sensation of his body returned. He held his breath, slowly lifting his hand to his eyes to see, his pupils began to shrink as the light returned to normal, his arm coming into focus to his eyes. It was glowing snow-white, the new color of his chi. He held his breath as his hearing returned, a high pitched ringing slowly dissipated. He felt lighter than air, as if free from gravity, free from constraint, reborn as a divine being. He slowly clenched his fist, a smile spreading slowly across his face as he chuckled slightly, Yuudoku opened one eye as if he'd been watching the entire time. ".. It's about time old man" He smiled, pretending to go back to sleep, Shindou deserved some time to .. enjoy himself. Yuudoku's lips smirked at the thought.
