Poliro Tensol.

(If your reading this, you need to play this while reading the post, it'll make a deeper impact.)

The skies were a radiant orange. It was setting down to be dusk time, as the sun was slowly lowering as the night time was soon to come. It made the landscapes also glow with orange, also making the colors of the sky seem more orange than usual. In Karakura Forest, the shadows were still being cast by the sun, so the orangeness wasn't really much to be found in this place. The lakes seemed to shine beautifully under the glowing orange sun, giving out its last bit of heat before fully leaving this part of the Earth to the shadows. On the many trees in this frost, a man in dark clothing and dark black hair was sitting on top of a tree, trying to watch the sunset. He looked rather depressed and alone, obviously it seemed he was here to try and reflect on something.

He spoke mentally to himself in his own depressed, cold voice.. "Why...Ayane.... did you leave me.." this man was Poliro Tensol. For him, he cannot measure the immense pain he has had to suffer. He had lost his true love, someone he had known since she was a little girl, and then becoming a full mature adult, that woman was Ayane Redwood. She was very childish in nature, but when Poliro met her, Poliro had no true friend or lover in the whole time he lived in the Soul Society. Ayane was his true first friend, then true first lover. But the very sad tragedy is that she was suffering from a illness that claimed her life.. and thats when Poliro changed forever. Not only around that time did Ayane die, but Poliro was transormed into a Vizard due to a encounter before that. Due to his hollow being born in the rage and anguish of having lost a love, its purpose was to protect Poliro's love at any cost possible.

And now, Poliro just wants to seek someone like Ayane to see if the void within himself could fill. He felt like he was alone in the world once more, like how he was before he even met her. Tonight he was caught up in his depression... and this was a constant for him throughout the day, he eventually couldn't bear to be around his fellow Shinigami comrades like how he was.. he ran off into the Karakura Forest to try and gain peace... but only found he could let out the inner sorrows and despair by doing that.

He looked onwards to the sunset, and began to cry a bit, as he finally gave into his inner despair. He wanted Ayane back, so much so that he'd do anything to get her back. As a Gotei 13 Captain, you wouldn't expect them to show this level of emotion and that is why he left the Soul Society, so no one else could see him this way. Right now, he hoped no one else could see him be so broke down and emotional, unless it was not a Shinigami.. he did bring his Zanpakuto with him though.. he thought that you never know when you might need to use it. Back at the Soul Society, Poliro pulled a lie, telling his squad members that he was simply going out on a mission only he could do, and he'd be back unharmed. He only did this to assure them that he'd be safe and not to stir up a panic back at the Soul Society. As he carried on sobbing, to him, the events of him and Ayane flashed back. The meeting at night, the market shopping, the training, the dinner where they fell in love, achieving Bankai with her support, Poliro losing his virginity.

He missed all of those memories dearly.. he could remember a time where he was happy and over joyful, but that was dead to him. And the biggest upset to Poliro right now... is the fact she died before... Poliro could marry her. Poliro had this idea for a while, but was rather too scared to go to Ayane and propose to her. He looked at himself and began some fierce shouting at himself. "POLIRO YOU IDIOT! WHY DID YOU NOT DO IT!? ARE YOU SOME KIND OF FUCKING COWARD!" he needed to calm down now.. those shouts could get peoples attention. He simply carried on to sob into himself. The despair was a lot to bear.. Poliro didn't know how he'd carry on with life when things were like this. He just hoped one day, this would all change by meeting someone who would show Poliro compassion and love yet again, such as what Ayane did. But of course, with Poliro in this state of depression and despair, he was doubting himself.

He wondered what kind of girl would go for a insane wreck like himself? His inner hollow had affected his personality in the long run. In combat he tends to fight like some kind of insane serial killer, and he is more emotional sometimes than on other days. He simply began to stare into space as his thoughts wondered elsewhere... trying to draw his mind away from the despair and sorrows. However, despite all of Poliros despair, he still retained the hope of meeting someone like Ayane.. and he cherished the memories they had together. Over all, if Poliro didnt have those memories, he would be in a severe unstable mental state. "I'm j-just glad she was there..." he sliently muttered in his despaired tone.

----------------------------

Karakura Forest at dusk. The orange luminescent glow that shone over the city, shadowed the forest, and streaked the sky as the sunset painted a perfect picture of the emotional display that was about to take place on this, a most tranquil of nights. The city life was quieting to a standstill as the lights that appeared in the windows, streets, and night sky as the stars twinkled to life above signaled the end of a day, and the beginning of the serene nightlife that existed in karakura. The minor activity of the nocturnal crowd could be heard throughout the city in the form of shuffling feet, low-speaking voices, late-night coffee shop meetings, trades in the street, or what have you. In the forest, the animals were also switching routines. Any creatures of the day were finding areas to rest. Creatures of the night however, were only beginning to wake up.

It was in this forest, the ground shadowed as the darkness began enveloping the area beneath the trees, the light from the city not being sufficient to allow anything more than a dull glow to penetrate the canopy into the woods below, that Vineria De Louge Roi was taking her evening stroll. She had grown excessively more and more bored with the sugiura lands, and with the help of her niece, the queen of the western clan, she had the liberties to leave into the human world as she wished. A liberty she took pride in exploiting. She loved the human world, every last inch of the terrain, the interesting people that took residence within, the sights, the sounds, hell, even the smells. No matter how foul, the human world was a place she most definitely enjoyed roaming. She liked the humans, even if they couldn't see her. It was fun watching them go blissfully unaware, stumbling around through their daily lives like they're actually worth something. It was adorable. Not to say she had anything against humans. She didn't at all. She found them amusing. In fact, Vineria didn't really have anything "against" any race. Her fair and kind-minded frame of thinking kept her from really holding a grudge against anything or anyone. She couldn't hate people for their race, not even the arrancar or espada. The only people she could truly bring herself to hate.. were those that killed in cold blood.. Those who killed without rhyme.. without reason.. just for the fun of it... Vineria twitched a bit just thinking about it. She shook her head, sighing softly. No, now was not the time to focus on such things. Now was the time to enjoy her stroll through the forest.

Vineria, sister to the golden king Gilgamesh, and pink-haired beauty, was one of those types that had power, but rarely had the motivation to do anything with it. She was a docile spirit, and the type of woman who would rather drink herself silly or explore than do any actual fighting. However, despite her slacker attitude and her disregard for her own sense of power, she still carried and dressed like a princess of sorts. Even now, on something as simple as an evening stroll, she wore an elegant top, a dull yellowish gold color that came up to her shoulders, the shoulders themselves being puffed slightly. It also came up to her neck in the back. However, in the front, it only came up high enough to cover the most revealing portion of her large bust, a very un-lady like amount of cleavage still showing. Not like she cared, she was proud of her appearance. Her pink hair, her pale skin. Every inch of her height. What was the point in loving anything around you if you couldn't be content with yourself, first? With her past, you wouldn't assume she'd be so laid back. She grew up strong, was raised strong, and proved her power by taking control of her guardian beast at a surprisingly young sugiura age. No one would question that she was strong, that much was certain.

This forest.. her stroll here meant a lot to her.. as the forest itself was deeply meaningful to her as well.. This was where she had met her first love. A man who rarely spoke to anyone.. but she managed to make him open up to her.. He had been her everything.. the only man she thought it would be possible for her to get close to.. and then.. Then tragedy struck... in a battle she had mostly been the cause of. The regret behind that event would haunt her for the rest of her life.. She knew though.. she knew he'd want her to be happy.. Wouldn't he..? She stopped walking, the leaves crunching beneath her feet as she did so, reaching up to wipe a tear from her eye and shaking her head. Yes. He would. He would want her to be happy. He would.. he would've wanted the best for her regardless of what had happened.. he loved her.. and she loved him. Now.. it was time to start moving on.. but.. it would be difficult to find anyone who could tolerate her dysfunctional past and various personality quirks.. Was there even anyone who existed who could? Was it possible? Vineria sighed, slipping her hands into the pockets of her black skin-tight pants, sliding her walking shoes gently across the ground. Lost in thought was the place she found herself most often...

It was then that she heard it.. A scream resonating across the forest. The words.. she couldn't make out. But she could tell exactly what direction it was coming from, and she could vaguely make out that the voice was male. Extending her senses in that direction, she felt the reiatsu.. definitely Vizard. Why was a vizard screaming up a storm in the forest on so peaceful a night? Vineria's curiosity got the better of her as she felt drawn towards the voice, stepping lightly through the foliage of the forest on her way to where she had heard it from. She wondered what kind of person this was.. Would she have to fight them? Was it a killer? Was it someone simple? Maybe it was just a wanderer? Or maybe.. maybe it was a vizard in turmoil? Trying to control their powers? Vineria had heard all about the race and their conflict. It was tragic, in her opinion, to say the least. In all honesty, her gentle nature made her wish there was a way for her to stop their suffering.. but that was wishful thinking. You can't edit a process that violent.. it was a fact. Sadly, she couldn't save everyone.. No matter how much she wanted to. Shaking all thoughts of redemption for the race out of her head, she continued on. Pushing through more foliage and tripping a few times in the dark before she reached where she had heard the voice coming from. Vineria looked around, blinking and searching for signs of the reiatsu. That's odd.. it felt like it was coming.. from.. above? Vineria tilted her head backwards, looking up into the nearest tree. There, sitting atop it, was the man she had felt. He looked.. well.. sad was an understatement for how the man looked.. Vineria tilted her head. Was that.. the sound of sobbing she heard. Oh no.. she couldn't have any of that. She raised her voice a bit, calling out loud enough to be heard from the top of the tree. "Hey! You up there! Get down here! I'll have none of that crying on my watch! Come talk to me, tell me what's wrong." She smiled sweetly up at the man. If she could help him.. even in the slightest.. she would. She hated seeing people in pain or upset.. she'd do anything to help people like that.. She kept her smile on, and awaited the man's response.

Poliro Tensol

For a few moments, Poliro didn't notice the presence of a nearby woman due to the fact he was lost in his own despair and sorrow. He was very hopeless at this time, but would the nearby person offer him some sort of sympathy? He didn't know at that moment, nor realise a guest would be present for him at that time. "Dude.. get it together.." He attempted to lift himself out the pit of despair he was currently trapped in, but failed and ended up crying again anyway. Never mind feeling hopeless, it looked like Poliro was going to be like this for a while. When he arrived here, he was at first, rather pissed, so he ended up slashing the tree, but not cutting it down. The tree he was perched on looked a bit cut up. He didn't really care too much about preserving the forest, he only really cared about his power and job. He didn't join the Gotei 13 to protect Earth or some heroic cause like that, he simply wanted the power to kill one person so he could claim revenge, and then decide how to carry on with his life from there, but another reason he loved Ayane is the fact she gave him more reason to his life, other than revenge.. now that he lost those reasons because of her death, he had only one reason to live. Revenge.. he was a dark fellow these days..

But then he felt it. The presence of another was nearby! He couldn't make out what race it was though.. it wasn't a Vizard, a Hollow, a Shinigami. He was glad atleast it wasn't a Shinigami that could see the Squad 7 Captain broke down like a little girl.. if that happened it be quite embrassing for Poliro to deal with the resulting consequences. He tilted his head upwards towards the sun again, rather than crying into himself. Suddenly, he felt the presence of the other person close to him, and was caught off guard when the person shouted.
"Hey! You up there! Get down here! I'll have none of that crying on my watch! Come talk to me, tell me what's wrong."
Poliro then realised this was the voice of a lady, a female. He wasn't going to be rude to a woman. He looked down at her and his eyes dropped. He found this woman to be... quite the beauty... already he felt something pump his heart into a state of adrenaline, but did find her to sound a bit commanding. He dropped down on the floor, assuming a stance to stop the force of the impact, to some extent. Poliro didn't come out here with his Shinigami outfit at all, but rather with dark clothing. A black jacket over a green blank shirt and he also seemed to have a pair of black trousers on. His fashion sense was kind of weird. He had blue eyes and dark, a tad messy hair. He walked over to her with a bit of his own smile.. trying to not make himself look dark or anything. He needed someone to talk to right now, so he decided he could just talk to this woman. "I'm.. just upset cause.. you see.. I lost someone very dear to me.. and I haven't gotten over it yet.." he spoke a bit quietly, looking visibly pained trying to get out what he was trying to say. He stood quietly, waiting for a response from the beautiful lady.
