Friend of a Friend

"Shit! what do you mean we're out of supplies?" Although the door to the office of the colonel of the Vizard Corps Special Operations Colonel was closed, his voice could be heard quite a good few yards away from his office. As usual, Ravana Ichiro, said Colonel in the Vizard Corps, had taken a portion of the day off to sort through paperwork and update their files and databases. Sure, while he was much better suited for field work, Ravana still had to take care of his sectors paperwork, as well as the paperwork on many of the other members of the corps. Maybe if he had more members in his sector, he'd have assigned this kinda stuff to them, but as it was, Sector 4 was kind of understaffed. Still, these issues were not the most important things on Ravana's mind right now; mainly because he had just looked over some papers titled "Supply Stocks". Now, this wasn't stuff like food or water, but special supplies known to be used by the Shinigami, and even the Vizards. Of course, because of the specialties, most of these supplies couldn't be found at just any store. In fact, there was really only one place to go to get any of these items; Urahara's shop. Sighing a bit, Ravana quickly got a list of all the supplies he'd have to get, before filing away his remaining paperwork and getting up to leave the Vizard Corps base.

The trip from Underground Karakura, where the Vizard Corps base was, to Karakura City was just as uneventful as always. Since the place was still technically under construction, not many people really went to Underground Karakura, and those who did were either working, or trying to escape from something. Soon, however, Ravana had made his way out to the surface, having to close his eyes for a few seconds to adjust to the light. Now that he was in good enough light, his attire could be seen clearly. It was what he usually wore, his own custom variation of the Shinigami outfit; consisting of a slightly old and tattered looking black coat, black hamaka pants, white sash belt, and the tabi and sandals. Unlike the normal Shihakushō which seemed to be one long robe, Ravana's was clearly two different articles of clothing. Standing in the sun, his ash gray hair seemed to be a bit lighter than usual, and his light green eyes stood out against his facial features. With his eyes now adjusted to the light, Ravana quickly made his way to the familiar little "shack" that was Kisuke Urahara's shop. Though it wasn't too much, Ravana did have some history with Urahara, mainly right after he became a Vizard. Urahara was actually the first person he went to after official resigning from his position as Captain of Squad 3.

Approaching the small store, Ravana noted that it seemed just as desolate as always. In all honesty, the store was the kind of place that you only actually "saw" if you were actually looking for it, or were actually taking the time to survey your surroundings. over all the years he had known the place, Ravana had never quite decided to think that it was either some odd kido that Urahara had used on the place, or just really good planning in its location. As he opened the door, the old style bell, literally a bell set up next to the door, rang, informing anyone home that there was a visitor. Although the shop was on the smaller side, it was still big enough that when he entered, Ravana didn't see anyone around. "Oi! Urahara, you working today or just being lazy?" he shouted out, hoping that someone would answer him. Though he knew Urahara, Ravana didn't really know much about the other people that worked in the store, and honestly, he had only ever really seen them once or twice. Now that he thought about it, it was actually kind of odd that he always got Urahara when he came here, and not one of the other employees, even though Urahara was know to have been quite lazy. Then again, knowing the man, he probably only did this to mess with Ravana's head.
