Sector 4 leadership meeting
Tue Jul 19, 2011 8:35 am
Colin yawned and got out of bed. He was in the vizard corps barracks, and had just woken up for the first time in his new bed. So, this is what it's like to have a home... It's been so long, I had forgotten what it was like... Being a wanderer for so long, Colin never had much of a place to call home. He had been in the Gotei 13, but after that experiment, he could never return. That demon... I hope he's been sliced into tiny pieces by now! He had searched for that being during his wanderings, but it had always eluded him. He got himself dressed and left the room, into the commons room outside. He was hoping that he could meet his fellow squad mate's today. He had been a bit dissapointed when he heard that it was just him and the colonel, but at least they were in a good position for other's to join sector four.
He went to the mess hall and brought his breakfast back to his room. He got through half of his toast and most of his scrambled eggs before he decided he was full. He took in a deep breath, held for a few seconds, then slowly let it out. He did this to calm himself, as he knew he could be overexcited easily. He didn't want to leave a bad impression on the colonel. After that, he decided he would stay in the common room for 2 more hours, in case the colonel showed up. He went back to his room and got his fishing field guide and began reading it, patiently waiting...

Ravana Ichiro~Ex-Captain Vizard/Spec. Ops Colonel~1-1+
It was just another normal day for the Vizard Corps, the same going for Ravana Ichiro; Colonel of Sector 4: Special operations (abbreviated Spec. Ops). Of course, an average day for Ravana most likely included overworking himself. Yes, while one might not have guessed so from his friendly and slightly laid back personality, Ravana took his duties very seriously, and did tend to overwork himself a bit too much. Then again, with a personality like his, he really did see his work as being beneficial to others, so he actually found some enjoyment in it. Of course, this enjoyment was mainly during the times he got to fight. Hell, it wouldn't be too far off to say that Ravana was your typical "hero" type. Then again, he did have his defining differences from the typical "herofag", though most of those were more internal, as well as what he had been through. Still, going back to the overworked issue, the fact that Sector 4 was still understaffed didn't really help much. It wasn't as if he had a problem with all the work, but Ravana really could use some more time to train...and even work on personal relationships. Shaking his head to get that last thought out of his head, mainly because he was still unsure about it. Right now, however, even if he had wanted to continue that thought, he had a lot of paperwork to finish before allowing his mind to drift. Of course, having taken a little too much paperwork, Ravana had forgotten about the meeting he had scheduled with his new Lieutenant Colonel.
As he shifted through the paperwork, either signing it or filing it to be added to the database, Ravana soon came across a sheet of paper that, honestly, he should have checked in the first place. Yeah, he had just picked up the sheet of paper concerning the appointing of his new Lieutenant Colonel. Calling himself an idiot out loud, Ravana hit his forehead with his palm before quickly getting up and heading over to the barracks. Sure, he may have been a lot more mature now, especially in the right situations, but he still somehow managed to forget things he should have remembered. Luckily, the barracks weren't too far away, at least given his current pace, and he soon made it to the common area. Of course, just as he had expected, the skinny young Vizard sat there waiting, a book in his hands. ...But wait, wasn't he actually older than Ravana. Looking back into his memory, Ravana couldn't he;p but let out a laugh at this fact. Hell, he was used to being a young leader leading others older than himself, and back when he was the Captain of Squad 3, he was one of the youngest Captains, almost rivaling Hitsugaya. Putting the nostalgia behind, Ravana quickly made his way up to the new member, not wanting to make him wait any loner.
"Oi, you're Colin Washi, right?" Ravana asked the other Vizard, though he already knew the answer to this question. "Well, I guess that it is my duty to welcome ya to Sector 4 of the Vizard Corps, the Special operations branch" Ravana continued, starting his little introduction speech. Oddly enough, his tone of voice was a mixture between seriousness and friendliness. "Well, since I am assuming you only know the basics about Spec. Ops, allow me to fill you in more on our duties" Ravana said, taking a moment to pause before continuing on. "Basically, we're in charge of assassinations, covert ops, and the punishment of traitors. What you might not know, is that we are also in charge of scouting ahead in situations that are too dangerous for the other squads; in fact, we may also act as first responders thanks to our skills" he added. "So, we're here to use our distinct skills and specialties to solve problems in ways that others would not be able to" he finished, wrapping up his little speech. Of course now, he was beginning to think that maybe he jumped into the introduction a bit too hastily, but there was nothing he could do about it now. "So, any questions?" Ravana asked, hoping to make up for that.

Colin closed his book shut as the door behind him slammed open. He got up to see what had happened as saw Ravana burst into the room, catching his breath. Huh. I guess that make's him Ravana Ichiro, huh. Since it was the sector 4 common room and he was explaining their tasks, that kind of disabled him out of being anyone else. So that's my new colonel. Seems nice enough. He thought as he listened to Ravana's hurried speech. Well, looks like I'm not the only one who gets ahead of himself!
As he listened to Ravana's schpeel, he found himself nodding at the duty list, as he had been aware of that. His eyes widened a bit as he heard the special duties and smiled a bit. Those were perfect for him. He did like to do things uniquely.
"Actually, I do have a question: Is there any good fishing spots nearby?" He burst out in a grin at what would probably be a bemused look on Ravana's face "Got'cha! Just kidding." He spoke in a friendly tone but still with an air of seriousness, "But really, I have a question for you. Do you know any demon scientists?" His face grew quite serious."It's fine if you don't, but I always like to check."
"Anyway, yeah, I am Colin Washi, but just Colin is fine. And I take it you are Ravana Ichiro, my new Colonel? Well then, it is very nice to meet you. I hope we can work together well. As it were, you wouldn't happen to have any assignments for me, would you? I get bored easy, as it were, and I'm ready to help anyway I can."
