Irikanis Hunting Mission

"Hhhmm. I could've sworn I sensed a hollow. Maybe I was mistaken........." Irikani looked around him, scanning the secluded forest for a Hollow that he had been tracking. "Looks like I better be heading back to Karakura Centro then......" Then he noticed an animal out of the corner of his eye.....no. Not an animal. Something far more deadly than any animal could be.........and with an audible sigh, Irikani drew his Zanpakuto, Reitō wa Tsundora from its sheath. As he drew it, the sheath disappeared into a small cloud of ice-like crystals. "HAAAA!!" A Hollow that resembled a samurai came charging out from a gap in the trees to Irikanis left. As their blades clashed sparks flew in every direction. "Weak Shinigami. I will kill weak Shinigami" muttered the armor-clad Hollow. "Weak? Hhhmm....underestimating your opponents can lead to your downfall. This is a perfect example, you poor, pathetic monster. Take THIS!" With a slash to the Hollows chest, he defeated the Hollow............or so he thought.

" Ugh.......Shinigami bastard. You think youve won, dont you?" "Think? I think its clear where this battle is heading....your defeat. Allow me to divulge to you the reason why I am here, fighting you. TRAINING. I need to be stronger, so I decided to hunt some good ol' Hollows. Like YOU." declared Irikani, while clenching his fist in the air. "Its too bad......that this battle has.....has gone to your head. I think....I need to change this. Time...to show you........my REAL power!!" With a flash of light, the Hollow stood back up appearing to be restored in energy, and stronger than ever. "HAHAHAHAHA! Time to die, Shinigami fool!" Still smiling, Irikani decided to point something out. "Hhhmmm...I didnt see this coming. Maybe I'll actually have to use some powers......or maybe even release my Zanpakuto. Well, I just thought you should know that I havent been using all of MY power either." "It makes no difference! Even with all of your power, you cannot defeat me! Come! Die by my hand!"

"Reitō wa Tsundora! Lets show him our power!" In but a moment, the Hollow appeared behind Irikani and proceeded to attack in a series of hits. However, Irikani managed to block and deflect all of the hits........except one. "Aaarrrgghh!!" Blood flew as the Hollows blade pierced Irikanis side. "HAHAHA! Feast on his flesh my blade! Drink in his blood!" "Uh-oh. If this keeps up the way its going, I may just die. Its a good thing Im not stupid. Prepare yourself Hollow!" As the Hollows blade was about to slice Irikani for a second time, Irikani shouted "Aisushīrudo! Ice Shield!" Ice formed out of seemingly nowhere and enveloped Irikanis entire body, forming an armor-like shield. "What is this?! Theres no way you couldve blocked an attack like that!" "Allow me to explain. My Zanpakuto has a natural affinity for ice. But not just any ice. Ice harder than steel. Not even your strongest attacks an pierce this ice. Now do you understand? You cannot win!" "AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!! TAKE THIS! AND THIS! AND THIS!" After launching a series of attacks that did seemingly nothing, the Hollow collapsed to the ground out of exhaustion.

"Kōri no hahen! Die by ice!" As Irikani thrust his blade forward, hundreds of small, razor-sharp, ice shards flew towards the Hollow. In an audible boom, the shards truck the hollow and completely destroyed it. "Well that was harder than I thought it would be. Looks like I need more traini-wait. What was that?" Irikani could hear crashes, slowly getting louder. After realizing where the sounds were coming from, he turned around and saw tree after tree fall as a huge Hollow came crashing through the forest. "What the hell? What is that thing? It cant possibly be an ordinary Hollow..." Slowly but surely they giant Hollow made its way towards Irikani and finally reached the clearing where the battle had taken place just a few moments before. "Do you know who that was? Who you killed? That was my friend! We have been working together to kill Shinigami and humans for almost a decade! I WILL KILL YOU AS YOU KILLED HIM!!"

The creatures voice boomed through the forest, causing birds and animals alike to flee in terror. "Size doesnt necessarily mean strength. Ice Shield! Protect me!" Again, ice-like armor formed on Irikanis body, creating a harder-than-steel shield. "THAT WONT STOP ME!" The Hollow threw its fist down onto Irikani, shattering the ice into millions of tiny fragments. "What?! How did you break it? Theres no WAY youre that strong! Youre just a Hollow!" :AND YOURE JUST A PUNY SHINIGAMI! TIME TO DIE!" Again, the giant threw its fist down, colliding with Irikanis katana. "Whew, you sure are a tough one. Looks like I'll have to release my Zanpakuto......Come Reitō! Show him your power!" In a sudden flash of light, Irikanis katana split and formed to azure Hook Swords. Irikani then proceeded to wrap his swords around the monsters right leg, pulling it to the ground. Then he pulled the Hollows arms up and proceeded to launch himself down towards the Hollow so fast, he appeared to just be a flash. When his swords hit the Hollow, Ice enveloped the Hollow. He then hit the giant with all of his power, causing it to shatter into pieces, and eventually disappearing completely. After sealing his Zanpakuto, Irikani sighed. "Well that was a good day of training. Ive never actually gone that fast before......hhmm. Looks like now Im even stronger than I was before."
