"Then it can't be helped. Drink, my friend! Since you won't turn back, at least stay here for a while. Just a little while. All the other captains must have made their moves by now. This battle should be over soon. Until then, please stay here and drink to your heart's content."

It was mid-afternoon in the seireitei and the sun was still high in the vast blue sky and showed no possibility of cloud cover any time soon as Shunsui walked to his favorite drinking spot under a nice shade providing tree not too far away from his old divisions barracks. As always Shunsui could be seen wearing his traditional shinigami kimono with a pink flowered kimono draped over his shoulders, his straw hat with the straps undone, an obi sash, with his hair tied up in a pony-tail with his expencive pin-wheel hairpins. Drawing closer to his destination Shunsui was greeted by a group of passing shinigami women who giggled as he waved back to them with squinted eyes, his rosey cheeks, and a welcoming grin.

As he made it to his destination Shunsui let out a sigh of releaf as the shade the tree provided casted over him, Shunsui then walked over to the trees trunk where he then sat and rested aginst before pulling a bottle of saki from his kimono and took a sip. "Aaahhhhh! very nice." he then said aloud as he looked around his surroundings before letting out a "sigh". "But it would be better if I was not here alone, I mean those females would have been great company." Shunsui then lowered his hat over his eyes as he placed the bottle of saki at his side as he relaxed to the sound of birds cherping in the tree branches above.

As the day grew a bit later Shunsui who was now asleep was suddenly woken up as a loud sound startled him. Jumping to attention as he layed there now proped up with his hands behind him Shunsui quickly began to look around to assess the situation but his vision was at the moment hindered by his hat thet still sat covering his eyes. After adjusting his hat he once again looked around as a lost expression crossed his face before noticing a young female running his way crying. Quickly leaping to his feet Shunsui ran over to the girl. "Whats wrong!" he asked in a concerned tone as he held the female by her shoulders before hearing her answer. Hearing what she had to say Shunsui let out a sigh of releaf as he droped his head and shoulders limp. "My, My.. Don't scare me like that.. I thought there was an explosion or hollow chaseing you." Shunsui then walked lazily back to the tree and floped into a sitting position. "So ya said there was a fight at the saki house huh.. Well, we should just let 6th division deal with that... Saki?" He then asked the female as he smiled and extended the saki bottle towards her.

After offering the saki to the female the young shinigami woman refused but was greatful for calming her dawn. Hearing her refusal Shunsui kinda froze as he blinked twice with a blank expression. Moments later Shunsui heard a booming laugh which caused him to slightly flinch before hearing a familure voice call out and greet him. "Well, Kyoraku-dono, you seem to be doing well?" Now with a puzzled expression Shunsui looked over in the voices direction only to see former captain of 7th division Sajin Komamura. "Komamura-San!" Shunsui then said in an excited tone with sqinted eyes and a smile as he raised the bottle of saki in greeting.

Shunsui then reached into his "Shihakusho" and pulled out two saki cups before pouring saki into them and placeing one infront of himself and extending the other to Komamura as he continued to sit by the tree. "Come Komamura-San, join me, and have a drink." He then said as he patted the ground next to him offering him a seat.

Just as he offered Komamura the saki Shunsui suddenly heard a group of shinigami before seeing members of 6th division run past on there way to the saki house to contain the situation. As he seen this Shunsui's smile widened before he let out a laugh as he continued to extend the cup of saki.

Komamura nodded a gentle one like he usually does for mannerism, however he never called anyone with a honorific unless they have something that changed his own life or something. Now, Shunsui Kyoraku didn't make that much of a difference to Komamura but it certainly leaded to see that he had confidence in his appearance that resembled a dog or a wolf. When the former captain offered himself a drink, he nodded one more time.

He slowly walked toward next to Komamura and sat down cross-legged like a man. He towered over Kyoraku for sure being over nine feet tall. Though, he wasn't as heavy as he looks. He took the sake cup with his two fingers due to the size he held with him hand compared to the cup. Komamura glanced as the sixth division members when into the sake house. He didn't really know what was going on, but he assumed there was a problem for sure. When Shunsui smiled as he extended his cup of sake, Komamura held his up higher to clang on the cup like people celebrates a victory.

"Ohohoho," He took a sip then looked up high in the sky, "You haven't changed at all, it seems."

After Komamura took the cup he sat next to him and even in there sitting positions Komamura towered over Shunsui who himself was not a small man by any means standing six foot three and half inches. The two former captain then clanked cups before sipping there saki and as Shunsui pulled his cup from his lips he let out a sigh before looking over at Komamurawith squinted eyes as his cheeks blushed a rosy pink due to his intoxication before hearing Komamura speak. "You haven't changed at all, it seems."

Hearing this Shunsui laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Nope, it seems I haven't have I." he then said as he smiled before takeing another sip from his cup and placeing it on the ground next to himself. Shunsui then looked off into the distance at the landscape of the seireitei "But it does seem there has been many changes happening since we were captains. I mean the seireitei has kept its outer appearance but it seems diffrent doesn't it." he then said with a some what stren expression.

After staring for a moment Shunsui smiled before grabing his cup and filling it with more saki. "What do ya think about another cup Komamura-san." He then said as looked over at Komamura withhe the bottle of saki in his hand.

Smileing as he offered Komamura some more saki Shunsui awaited his answer and before too long he accepted. After pouring him another cup Shinsui placed the bottle beside himself as he lifted his cup high in a toast. "To the Seireitei, may it always change for the better." He then said before takeing a sip from his cup before lying back aginst the tree and finishing his saki.

After a short moment of drinking Shunsui grabed the saki bottle to pour himself another drink only to find the bottle was empty as he swooshed the little remains around its bottom. "Uuoh Komamura-San, Looks like were outa saki." He then said as he pointed at the bottle with a confused and disapointed look on his face.

Shinsui then placed the empty bottle and cup into his Shihakusho before slowly makeing his way to his feet and let out a sigh after streaching. "Looks like I will have to make a stop to the Saki House, Mind joining me in a walk Komamura-San." He then asked as he adjusted his hat.

Komamura raised his cup after Shunsui's vow, then took it toward his mouth to tilt the cup in a few degrees to pour the sake in his mouth. He gulped it down in one swallow then sighed as he licked his lips like a feline-type animal who just ate some sort of liquid-like substance. His fur usually soaks up some liquid, so when he licks it up, he's picking up some of the ones that didn't go in his mouth. "Indeed, may it always change for the better." He said with a deep smile that would brighten anyone's day no matter how sorrowful they are or how the sadness was enveloping their mind.

He sniffed the air only to notice that the smell of sake was very weakened as if it wasn't there. That's when he realized there were no sake before Shunsui even attempted to pour the cup. He sort of chuckled as Shunsui tried to pour one and decided to remark that there wereno sake. "Yes, I noticed that." He moved his eyes to position themselves on to the smiling Shunsui who offered a walk to the sake store to get some more.

"Sure, if it's for your wellness." Komamura normally isn't a drinker, but he felt good today to meet someone he knew once in a while. It was a grateful thing to do as a fellow acquaintance. He stood up so that he towered a little bit noticeably over Shunsui. Eight feet was a pretty abnormal height for anyone. However, he was an anthromorphic dog, it might've been expected.
