Blade Versus Volgana{Private}

Blade lay on the ground under a shady pine tree in the middle of a huge field. His hands behind his head and his legs crossed, he was in total relax mode. He was supposed to have a friendly spar with a guy he had yet to meet, but he didn't care. It was going to be interesting to say the least, perhaps he could memorize some new abilities as well. Either way, it was going to be fun. However, before he could get up, he heard something that caught his attention, some meters down, across the way, a being was stepping out of the forest. Something tall, big and hairy.

Raising an eyebrow, Adam vanished in a whirl of shunpo and appeared right in front it, only to find out it was a bear. He returned to his original spot and yawned, he had gotten so worked up over such a small thing.

"I really have to stop drinking so much." He said groggily to himself, wishing that he hadn't drank himself into a coma the previous night. Stretching, the white haired shinigami jumped as high as he could, reaching almost a mile in altitude, falling back down at a fast pace, he crashed into the earth, causing a crater to be formed.

"I've still got it." He said cockily as he adjusted his black sunglasses and awaited for his opponent, who was someone by the name of Volgana. "This parties getting crazy, let's rock!"

Volgana awoke with a yawn and stood from the chair he had been siting in before he had fallen asleep. A email still sat on his screen about a sparing match that he had agreed to earlier in the week. He glanced at the clock and saw that it was only a few hours away from when he said he would arrive. He strapped his zanpakuto to his side, his chefs knife to his back, and loaded the holsters on his hips, upper thighs, and the sides of his chest and right below the sheath on his chefs knife with throwing stars shaped like cherry blossoms. The blades were blunted so the damage would be minimal but rather effective as a distraction. He slipped on his captain Haori, placed his glasses over his eyes, and walked outside, turning to lock the door behind him.

He traveled through the streets of Karakura rather quickly, reaching the forest in a few minutes. He traveled through the forest to the chosen location, an area that would be free of any human life. He spotted the other man he was suppose to be meeting in a rather large clearing a short distance away. The man appeared to be napping under the shade of a rather large pine but before Volgana could take another step the man stood quickly and vanished, his figure appearing in front of a rather large bear before disappearing once more and reappearing back in its original location.

Volgana smiled as he walked out of the clearing and over to where the man sat. "Hello." Volgana said with a slight bow. "I am Volgana Hybussa, Captain of the Third Division. Are you the man I was suppose to meet."

Blade raised an eyebrow as the man with the captains haori spoke to him. "Yeah, I've always wanted to fight a captain." He said with a smirk as he cracked his neck and crossed his arms. "Names Adam Blade, Just a humble traveling priest." he said with a smile as he extended his right hand in a motion of friendship, he didn't want to start this fight on the wrong foot.

However before he had his hand held out all the way, he retracted it and pulled out a bible from his jackets pocket. He cleared his throat and began to read out loud.

"The men who come from different backgrounds, the men who have fought on various battlefields, aren't necessarily the strongest, The strongest are the ones with the hopes and dreams to become strong, after all the greatest part of the dream is the chase." He closed the book and adjusted his glasses, before smiling once more and looking at Volgana.

"Let us have a great battle Volgana-Taichou, I'm interested in facing you, this will be a promising experience for the both of us, that's for sure." He said as he held out his right hand once more. This battle would be one that would be remembered.
