Shikai Abilities:
Makaze(Evil Wind)
When Fujin is released to Shikai, the blade shatters and is replaced by a blade make of high density and high velocity wind that is capable of cutting. This sword is incapable of blocking attacks from other material objects, but if it scores a hit it will leave a trail of criss-crossing slash marks as the razor winds slash the opponent. This is capable of purifying Hollows.

Kai(Reap)
Fujin lashes out by sending a wave of high pressure air/reiatsu. When this strikes an opponent it will slash them as though they were slashed by the blade itself. This is capable of purifying Hollows.

Tachiborou(Rise Up)
Fujin pulls the air around Genpaku up into a spinning sphere that will redirect and throw off most projectile attacks. If Genpaku invests enough energy in it, this can act as a shield against things like Cero for a very short time, but such a stunt is taxing and done only as a last resort.

Kagizake(Rend All)
Fujin explodes with scything winds in all directions, which enables her to take out groups of enemies or at least harm them. However, by doing this the wind blade dissipates, and it take a small bit of time to reform(One post with no blade and thus no abilities before it can reform).

Bankai Abilities:
Enhanced Durability
Due to the fact that Gekidou Fujin is a set of armor, Genpaku's durability is increased since any damage he would take is at least partially mitigated by the armor itself.

Flight/Speed Increase
The wings on the back of Gekidou Fujin are not simply for decoration; in a place where flight would not normally be possible Genpaku is capable of using them to keep himself aloft. In addition, they serve to increase his speed while released by a significant amount.

Fujin(God of Wind)
As the name implies, Genpaku gain complete control of the winds directly around him that is readily useable up to a 10 foot radius. When I say readily usable, I mean that the air must be free floating. He can't suck the wind out of someone's lungs simply by being near them. He is capable of using any of the attack from his Shikai because of this ability while in this state.

Raiden (Thunder and Lightning)

Zanpaku-tou Spirit Appearance:
Raiden is a tall man, standing over six and a half feet tall. He is broad shouldered with dark brown hair fall about his head haphazardly. He wears the uniform of a Shinigami Captain, though the divisional insignia on the back is left blank. He wears a sword at his side that is nothing more than that; a sword. He has piercing yellow eyes as well.

Shikai Description:


Shikai Abilities:
Sawaru(Hinder)
Once released, Raiden has the ability to overload the nerves of a body that it cuts, reducing reaction time by a small but noticeable degree with the hit. However, this ability does not stack up with multiple hits. The effect does vanish after a few minutes of not taking another blow or by an increase in power(such as a release to Shikai/Bankai, Resurrecion, etc.).

Denko(Lightning)
When Raiden is swung or thrust, it can release a pulse wave of electrically charged reiatsu. Upon contact the attack will leave a burn and, if a direct hit, the target becomes subject to Sawaru

Banrai(Thunder)
Banrai can only be used after Denko has been utilized. A loud boom like thunder echoes from Raiden, stunning those nearby because of the pitch of the sound hitting the ear drums.

Hiraishin(Lightning Rod)
By using this Ability, Raiden coats itself in electricity, making its attacks more potent. In addition, if an opponent is covered in metal, and the blade swings close by, electricity will arc to the enemy, shocking them.

Kyoumou Raiden(Fierce Thunder and Lightning)

Bankai Abilities:
Range:
Though Kyoumou Raiden blackens the sky, only a specific area of the clouds actually acts as Genpaku's bankai. This area is a half mile radius centered on Genpaku.

Denko & Banrai
Denko becomes Genpaku’s main attack once Raiden is released to Bankai, though the attack is now in the form of a lightning bolt fired from above. The bolts combine the effects of Denko and Banrai into a single attack.

Immunity
Genpaku becomes immune to the adverse affects of his own Bankai.

Haiden(Distribution of Electricity)
Haiden is a technique that Raiden gains when it shifts into Bankai. By striking Genpaku with a bolt of lightning, Raiden gives the opposite effect of Nervous Twitch by increasing the flow and speed of the impulses sent through the nerves. This increases Genpaku’s reaction time by a factor of 1.5 and allows him to channel electrical attacks through himself for a short period of time.
