This city was filled with vagrants, homeless men, and people who were obviously able to afford the finer things in life — As a park, this place was surprisingly able to house many individuals. The western and eastern cities in Karakura, were probably large, but for this to be a park, such a size, was completely unbelievable.
Through the hustle of this large park, a young woman who resembled in age, the appearance of a modern house wife, could be seen walking through the park, her eyes staring intently at this dog that she was asked, as a favor, to guide and direct around what that individual deemed as a "Wonderful park". Actually, the girl in question thought of this place as frugal and unworthy of interest.
Hime Hikifune, 5th divison's most recent captain, that was the identity of this woman who adorned herself in the modern clothing, that frequented the appearances of others. If one had a discerning taste for fashion, then her clothing wasn't very amazing, by a good bit. However, her intention was never to draw attention from others.
Hime was anti-social with strangers, and even something like men flirting with her, could cause an unneeded situation to occur. Yes, if one wanted to make this claim, Hime was inchoate in social matters concerning Karakura — After all, this city was once constantly antagonized and in some cases completely massacred by her. If she gave off her identity here, then she would be marred without so much as an ounce of explanation. Furthermore, Hime wasn't quite ready to meet anyone that she could consider "friends".
Hime walked over a bridge head towards Fuma park, before reaching her destination, she decided to partake in the elegant ice cream parlor, in the left direction before the bridge. Kicking her feet off the asphalt, the hard dense black street was enough to slow the pursuit of the golden retriever. This animal, perplexed the vixen to no end, just who could still keep these type of animal's? After arriving at the ice cream parlor she wrapped his leash around a pole outside and began to order her flavor, that she had become accustomed too when she decided to engage in eating human food.
Actually, even before she went to the side of good, she enjoyed eating the food that humans cooked. They were absolutely amazing, when it came to providing a wonderful meal and with the best restaurant that money could buy, wonderful service as well. Having paid for her, ice cold treat, she would return to walking the dog, that she was consigned too for some time now. Hime sighed and held the dog by it's leash, while she indulged in the wonderful flavor that seemed almost addictive, Strawberry flavored ice cream, was officially something she could not turn down. Her face was immersed in the alluring pleasure, and she could do nothing but lick each drop as it descended from the cone. Her manner's were still eclat, but resistance against such delicious delectables were something she would call blasphemy. Arriving at fuma park, Hime completed her job, as requested and then took a break by vacating at the bench throwing her empty cone away, she sighed deeply as if to refresh and revitalize herself as she stared into the deep blue sky.

Today was Zen’s day off. The beautiful sky had seduced his eyes and as the clouds danced across the sky he felt as if he should take a day for his muscles to relax. The breeze he felt as he woke up that morning, calm and almost lifting, told him that today was a day in which he should take it easy. For Zen this was no problem. He’d always loved his days off, sometimes he would go weeks without taking a break, this was definitely a rarity. And he would take full advantage of it. But how would he do it exactly? Ice cream.
He could let his body go for a day, and thus he decided to go to the park. He yawned and sat up in his makeshift hammock that he made roughly 15 feet above ground. In Karakura Forest he learned 2 things. 1. Never sleep on the floor of the forest, that was just asking for death. 2. Always sleep with one eye open. With all the hollows in the vicinity, he knew that if he wasn’t careful, he would be dead before he knew it. The very first time he tried to sleep in the forest, he awoke to mask with white teeth attempting to chomp down on his legs. Thank God for Yin.
After a few seconds of stretching he rolled out of the hammock and went into a freefall, he then flipped in midair, crunching his abdominal muscles which gave his lower body the momentum to travel over his head, he then began running down a tree until he was about 7 feet from the ground, he then tensed his thighs and pushed off of the tree in mid-stride and did a semi front flip and finally stopped his movements in mid air about 3 inches before the ground. He was levitating, which was one of the traits that Yin passed on to him. He then levitated towards the river; it was time for a bath.
After freshening up, his hair still wet he put on his clothes and began his journey towards the park. He had followed the river into the park. It was a little known fact, but he found that the river led into town and into the park, it branched off and was probably one of the main water sources of Karakura Town. Zen began tied hia long head of hair into a high ponytail and he wrung it out with his hands. The only thing going through his mind was chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. His mouth was watering at the very idea of it and he began jogging towards the park without his knowledge. He was lost in his thoughts again.
A few days ago he was asked what his purpose was, what he wanted to do with himself, and the boy honestly had no idea. He felt that he was placed in this dimension for a reason but he couldn’t put his finger on what, but he knew that the chances of him dying here was high. He wasn’t worried about that though, if he did in fact die he would just become a soul reaper. That way he would have something else to do, and he would potentially become stronger… but why? Why did he want to become stronger? He had no idea, then the idea of Yin crossed his mind. She was still asleep and he wasn’t going to wake her, but he couldn’t quite tell what she was to him. A sister? A friend? Who knows, maybe he was starting to deve-
He didn’t get to finish his last thought as he tripped over a bright golden bear of a dog. He landed flat on his face and as he got up he turned around to see it. His eyes immediately turned into hearts as he stared at the beautiful four-legged creature. He loved animals, every single last one of them. He wasn’t into bestiality or anything like that but he loved anything that big and cuddly or as small and furry as a cat. He then looked up to see a rather average looking woman. He couldn’t feel anything different about her but he immediately froze nonetheless. For it was a woman, a being with ovaries. Zen couldn’t handle human women, he had the social grace of a dying walrus.
“U-uhm… Hey, uh, hi… yeah… Nice bear… I mean dog… dog?... Yeah… it’s a dog.” He pet the animal avoiding the cold gaze of the woman. He couldn't bring himself to lat at her as he felt his stomach in his chest. This seemed to happen with every person of the opposite gender.

—It would seem as though, her pet for the day, caught the attention of an white haired individual. If she had to look closely, it would seem as though he seemed like a very normal male, compared to the city folk. However, she could clearly tell that he had something different, though she wouldn't discern such causes right now, she would use the second mask of her personality, and casually speak with him.
She could feel that, if she were to protect these humans, she also had to learn to love everyone as well. If she truly wanted to leave the path of a woman who had stained her hands with so much blood, and even took the lives of innocents, then there was no better time then now. Her crimson red hues flickered and flinched, as she gazed upon the male closely, before returning those crimson eyes to the large dog. Firstly, was he trying to make humor?; she was not used to the way that people greeted each other just yet, having only been around the world enough to be a bi linguist, she could not have possibly ascertained enough knowledge to be a social woman. If you could describe it clearly, one could possibly call her a child amongst children when it came to these sort of situations.
—Still, the more she thought about it, the more she could laugh, whether it was a joke or not, it was definitely enough to fill her with humor. "Hahahaa, yes, it's a dog. Though, with how things have progressed this much into the future, i'm pretty sure you'd see a man or woman with a bear on a leash too." She brought her hand too, her ear moving some hair so she could get a better vision of the male. "I was asked by a friend, to watch over him, since she has such a penchant for pets. I don't understand how their so hyperactive, especially for the entire day." She chuckled to herself and furtively pet the dog on the head, the golden retriever was definitely happy as he barked and licked the hand of the purple haired female. "Ah...Yes. they have so much endurance, that i myself feel like such a old woman, in the face of these furry adventurers." As if speaking to herself, she stared out into the beautiful park, gazing upon a few children who were engaging in sport's activities, with today's modern technology — Come to think of it, even the children were as energetic as this dog. Thinking of that thought, Hime could do nothing but sigh, how were they able to keep such energy?
Returning from her daze, she stared back at the man. When she started thinking, she believed that he had not introduced himself. He also seemed to be a bit rigid, since she was a woman. However, she herself could not discern that he would have such embarrassment and decided to continue the conversation. "Hm, my pet aside, what is your name, young man?" her intention was not too sound rude, but from appearance, he definitely resembled a young man. A handsome young man, with features that would probably woo young women. Her crimson gaze locked onto him like a censor, and she awaited his answer patiently. The golden retriever barked happily as it licked Zen's cheek, exuding a humbling and peaceful attitude to the man, a sure sign of acceptance, for any man or woman, who knew their pets.

Zen kept his gaze at the dog as he heard the woman talk.
This wasn’t to be rude or anything of that sort, but he just couldn’t look into
the woman’s eyes. He took one glance at her and noticed the woman’s looks
immediately, long purple hair, and deep red eyes, along with mentionable…
assets.. This was the kind of woman men talked about, dreamed about, maybe even
fantasize about. Zen decided that if he didn’t want to utterly freeze right
there on the spot he would have to keep his eyes focused on the dog and his
mind focused on her. This
shouldn’t be very hard though seeing as how, in the presence of a woman, all he
could think about was not looking like a fool in front of her.
"Hahahaa, yes,
it's a dog. Though, with how things have progressed this much into the future,
i'm pretty sure you'd see a man or woman with a bear on a leash too."
Zen couldn’t help but chuckle at this, for every word of it
was true. This immediately caused him to calm down a little, but his ability to
speak would still be something of a challenge. He sat Indian style in front of
the dog and began laughing even more as the dog licked his face, Zen hadn’t
smiled like this for a while. He hadn’t had much human companionship in a
while, unless it was sparring or fighting, and being here with a seemingly
kind, and definitely beautiful woman made him feel… well it made him feel a lot
more relaxed, something he hadn’t felt lately. He tried to speak but could only
nod as the words came out of the purple-headed woman’s mouth. Zen then looked over
to the woman as she stopped speaking, as he followed her gaze he smiled looking
at the children. They had been so happy and content at play, literally no cares
in the world. He sighed inwardly as the woman addressed him.
"Hm, my pet
aside, what is your name, young man?"
Young man? Now he was confused. The woman seemed to be only
a few years older than him, his age only being 17, but the way she spoke was
misleading. He didn’t mind being called young however, the boy new his place in
the world, and he was brought up to respect his elders, even those who were
only one or two years his senior.
“E-etoo… my n-name is Zen?... Zen Muso.” He nodded to
himself, happy that he got his name right. “N-nice to feet you. No wait! I mean
meet you!” He gave a sheepish grin, avoiding looking directly at her. He
scratched the back of his head as he continued to pet the dog. “W-whats your
name miss?” He said smiling at her, or he would be, if she was the golden retriever that was currently being pampered by them. He still couldn’t
muster up enough courage to look her in the face but he was starting to feel
slightly more comfortable around her.

She found enjoyment in the nervousness of other people, to some extent. It reminded her of her little sister, Kirio. She reminisced upon the times that she spent with her sister, and then recalled the memories which pulled them apart for some decade. Feeling that such a situation could not be helped, she sighed and quickly discarded the memories, as to not become depressed by such regrets. After all, this was why she chose her new path. So that she could find pride in herself, and be proud of herself, so that she would never feel jealousy or hate for another man or woman ever again. She looked to the young man, and began to speak gracefully, as she had done throughout this conversation so far.
"Hm....Well, it is a pleasure to meet you as well, Zen Muso. I am Hime Hikifune. " She introduced herself with a humble and demure posture fitting of the clothing that she was wearing, which appeared to be miko clothing that she was quite fond of. While she herself wasn't a shrine priestess of any sort, she did enjoy this outfit for some time. Eventually, it became a staple for her human world adventures. She would then look at her pet, as he began to paw at her legs.
To her, it was a sign that he wanted to walk. Feeling that it would be rude to just leave this man, as he enjoyed the time with both her and her pet, she decided to request something of him. "I know this might be rude, but may i request that you be my chaperon for the day, Zen-san?" She turned around, holding the leash of the pet, as she smiled back at him. For her, this was a simple and normal request, but for him the sky was the limit. Who knows what possible reactions would surface from this question.
Hime was honestly innocent, as she did not feel any oppressive aura, emanating from this man. She had an innate sense of feeling emotions and sensing or discerning mishaps, that most people with an open mind, would probably miss. She was both cynical and analytical, both of these personality traits meshed together perfectly, as it allowed her to sense danger from reading things on the inside, instead of face value.
The dog pulled on the leash, pulling Hime along quite a bit as well, as she softly placed her foot on the ground and looked back with an embarrassed blush. "S-So, Are you coming along?" She asked, in a somewhat embarrassed tone, this time around. It was most likely because of the dog almost going off without her. She was not a woman who made mistakes quite often, and to make one in front of a man, could possibly be considered all the more embarrassing. Quickly, she returned to her well kept posture and awaited the answer from the man.

He was honesty confused about this woman. So beautiful and
mysterious yet somehow still friendly, he felt as if his innate ability to be a
screw up around women didn’t even have an affect on this woman in the
slightest. He was slowly warming up to her, which was surprising even to
himself, seeing as how it usually took a few days to work himself down to the
point in which he wouldn’t
stutter. But he didn’t want to jinx his luck too soon. He knew that chances
were, he was probably going to do or say something to make this woman hate him.
It wouldn’t have been the first time something like that
would have happened to him. It seemed that every time he got close to a woman,
something… no, anything would happen just as he got close enough to her to call
her, friend. Alas he didn’t have time to worry about such petty things such as
the past. To him the past was the past, there was absolutely nothing he could
do about it but learn what he did wrong, why he did it wrong, and how the hell he
could fix it. But Zen was pulled out of his thoughts by the woman’s voice, as
if she was a rescue boat, and he was a drowning individual. Which he may as
well have been with his current thought process.
"Hm....Well, it is a pleasure to meet you as well, Zen
Muso. I am Hime Hikifune. "
Hime… He smiled inwardly as he muttered under his breath,
“Hime… so you really are a princess.” Knowing a little bit of Japanese he knew
that Hime was also an honorific for princess or queen. He didn’t quite remember
since his mind was still a bit fuzzy being, in the presence of a woman and such
and then she spoke again.
"I know this might be rude, but may i request that you
be my chaperon for the day, Zen-san?"
At these words, Zen’s mind completely froze. Absolutely
nothing resembling a thought process was formulating in his brain, and his body
went completely frigid as his mouth twitched as if he was going to speak. But
when he found no words, an unintelligible “Squeak!” escaped his lips as he
nodded his head yes. He had no idea what was happening, in his mind he was
messing up everywhere. Tripping over her friend’s pet, choking on words, not
able to make eye contact, and suddenly she asked him if they could spend even
more time together. The boy felt both a mixture of overwhelming joy, and a
sense of impending doom as the words lingered in the air.
Then, something happened that halted Zen’s panicking mind
once more. The woman tripped. Or seemed to have tripped, he didn’t really catch
exactly what happened all he saw was the woman trip, and the dog move a little.
He then felt much better about his current predicament. No matter if she was a
woman or not, she was still a person, who also made mistakes. Though hers were
somehow still elegant as he blushed scratching the back of his head matching
hers. She was just as elegant as ever as the thought of her being a princess
once again crossed his mind, he then smiled and looked up at her his hazel eyes
meeting her crimson ones, as he said, “You fit the bill.” He then froze on the
spot. He hadn’t meant to say anything, which was supposed to be in his head.
Under the lock and key of the prison that held every possibly embarrassing
action, with the highest security. He let one slip and hoped she wouldn’t
notice, as he quickly covered with “O-of course I w-will.” He then bowed and
hid his blush by standing up and looking straight down at his feet.
But despite everything that was going on. So far, he was
seriously enjoying his day.
