Sheer Boredom in the Tenth Division

Tyler Sliivan marched through the halls of the Tenth Division Headquarters aimlessly. Quite honestly...he was bored. Azulong prattled on at his side, making snide remarks about people as Tyler passed them- his comrades had long ago learned to ignore the chatty spirit, and so Tyler didn't bother to rebuke him.

So he walked. The past weeks had been utterly uneventful for him, and he had quickly torn through his entire personal library in his unending downtime. The few jobs he had been given were more appropriate for an unseated Shinigami than a Fourth Seat, and he had gone through them with exactly the attitude befitting them. Why, after all, should he play errand boy at his level?

He sighed as he moved into a courtyard within the gargantuan structure he called home, moving to sit next to a tree. He removed his sword and dipped the hilt into a small pond, shutting up Azulong for the moment. Even he couldn't speak coherently through several inches of water. He pulled a book from his clothing and opened to his bookmark, rereading Belgarath the Sorcerer for the second time.

Ah, well. It was a good book, after all.
