Return from the brink of the edge.
Wed Jun 01, 2011 5:51 pm
It was a very dark cool night, the moon was out shining like a pearl that has just been pried out of the clam. While the stars shined extraordinarily bright in the black sky. Other than those sources of light, the allies and roads were close to pitch black. The road glistened from the late rain before and the street lights shining upon them. And a man walked out from a weird flash of light. He was unseen by any human with no spiritual perception.
This man had pretty short spiky black hair, that almost seemed to blend in with the night. A black tattoo with the numbers 69 imprinted on his cheek. He stopped by a street light and it revealed is looks better. He had a decent tan skin, with a good build. He had a scar on one of his cheeks, and his eyes seemed almost dazed. He leaned against the pool and pulled a large sigh.
“why should I even stay in this organization if they don't even trust me for captain” he said as he sighed. He picked his feet back up and wondered throughout the town. His mind constantly on whether he should leave or not. As passing a nearby bar, he heard the song “should I stay or should I go” by the clash.
The man walked into the bar and sat at one of the chairs in the counter. Luckily to him, the bartender was spiritually aware. “anything I can do ya for mister?” the man looked up at the bartender and put some change on the counter. “just one beer” he requested. And the bartender got to work.
He took a swig of the brew and let out a sigh as he let the alcohol do its work. He spun to turn in his chair and scanned out the area. There was a jukebox still playing The Clash. And some other drunks. It looked pretty close to a bar fight about to break loose. He held his sword a bit tighter and went back to his business.
