Yoshiko Shizu could be described as an out-going person. She prefers to keep to herself, but she has a few close friends that she opens up to and pretty much doesn't hold back with joy over. One of these people being Ayumi. Yoshiko is generally nice to everyone, if she has never met you before she is likely to be all shy and barely talk. She could be considered as rather awkward if she is with someone she finds attractive and doesn't talk much to them, often creating an awkward tension in the room or area. To her surprise, people often find her quite a good person to be around, not to over board but collected and sensible enough to have a good time without going absolutely crazy. She is very, very smart and witty. Able to think up come backs or something on the spot.

Yoshiko doesn't see herself as 'attractive'. She is one of those girls that doesn't believe she looks good even though people constantly tell her. She is major self conscious. Worried about her weight and all, but she knows how to pull off a bathing suit. Many see her as a 'slut' just because she wears her uniform for school rather short (the skirt anyway) which makes her feel horrible. She doesn't go sleeping around with everyone, she is very careful about what she does and makes a few close friend by doing so. She is often teased and picked on for being bi-sexual but she is pretty much used to that now. Fighting is a big factor that she hates. She has seen physical fights before and she hates them, blood and breaking of peoples hopes and actual bodies... she can't being to imagine what she would do if it would happen to her.

From an early age, her family was always rich. Before she was born, they owned a multi-million dollar company that specialised in computer technology. At the age of 5, she had hacked into her first company and looked through all their files. Her family and business didn't specialize in hacking but due to all the knowledge of computers, she could do it with ease. Yoshiko embedded the knowledge about computers into her head from the early age in hopeful meaning to take over the family business one day, however Yoshiko had bigger plans than to take over the family business. While learning about computers, she started school rather late around the age of 8 and was so fast in her work and so excellently smart she advanced to grades and made up for mission the first to years of school. She had no brothers or sisters, she was a rather spoiled child at that as well. Seeing as she was spoiled others saw her as greedy and she didn't know how to share. At the age of 13, she started to learn martial arts which only lasted 2 months before she quit, in an attempt to be active failing. Normally, if you done no sports or anything you would waste away and become un-fit. That wasn't the case with Yoshiko though... for some reason she was always fit and good looking barely gaining a pound.

At the age of 15 her dad had died in a horrible car crash on the far side of Karakura. All their life, she had grown up with her dad and her mum in Karakura and now her dad was gone from this world... never to return. To be buried in the mud, his lifeless body to be lowered into the ground and never seen again. This upset Yoshiko heaps, for days on end she cried not wanting to come out of her room. She didn't sleep for 1 whole week, she didn't even leave her room for basic needs like food or water, her mum had to bring them to her. In her mind, she find it crazy. How someone can be alive and kicking one day, and the next they are dead and lifeless. Eventually she overcame this and got on with her normal life. Now at the age of 17 she had met a woman named Ayumi who she instantly fell in love with. She didn't care what anyone else though, she loved this woman. She was beautiful, everything she ever wanted. Personality and everything was great, and to this present day they are still together and loving each other to no extent.
