Books a Plenty

Zen was sitting in the Greenhouse Cafe like always when Hoshi wasnt in town. "Man Hoshi is such a scatter brain. While he goes out and travel the world for plants im stuck here watching both of his stores not to mention my own" Zen said to himself. He was reading one of his favourite books "A tale of two cities" while he waited from customers.

Outside of the store there were signs that there were rare books to read inside of the store. The reason why Zen did this is because ever since Hoshi left business had gone down eventhough Zen's skill were up to par with Hoshi's but he didnt have a few of the abilities Hoshi had. So Zen waited inside of the cafe for someone to come cheer up this rainy day in Karakura City.

Craig was trying to figure out some kind of plan for his new team idea that his cop friend was cooking up really their wanted to clear up the streets. He thought their were some strong people covering that part really he didn't know how many people were playing the superheo bit a lot. Their was the soul society which seemed like the new police around here, Craig didn't know why Ian made him an honorary patrolman. The guy needed to calm down and maybe train his reiatsu power when he gets the chance but perhaps taking a break wouldn't be bad either. He walks inside the Greenhouse Cafe seeing a whole lot of people talking the cafe thing really wasn't a good setting for him. He did remember the last thing entering a cafe and his ex-girlfriend was cheating on him with his best friend Leroy, he didn't think that would happen. The past had really put some bad memories into his plate which was why he hated cafe but he did love entering that other cafe years ago.

Craig started looking around trying to figure out what he wanted to order still the guy had a lot of paperwork to finish before the day was done. Ian had stack a lot of work at his deask knowing the new boss he wanted that work done and in a hurry. He wonders what he was going to buy a person couldn't have a normal cheesecake and mocha but still, he was undecided on the order.

"I know Ian wanted me to finish up my work but even guys like me need some rest however work is what gets a man his money" he thought.

"Welcome to the Greenhouse cafe" Zen said reading the book. "If your here to steal something dont even try". "The specials for the day are a chocolate dipped strawberry shortcake and battle" Zen said getting up and going back to the kitchen while still reading the book.

Zen came out of the kitchen with a delicious looking piece of Chocolate Strawberry Shortcake. "Here you go" He said putting it on the counter. "Specials are always free" Zen said as he sat back down.

The guy was looking for a fight not some peaceful moment bu you could ask for somebody to throw down but nobody seemed strong enough. Another reason is that he's an honorary patrolman meaning he couldn't just disturb the peace, Ian would yell at him he shouldn't have taken the offer in the first place it gives him bad mojo when a fight takes place. In the past, Craig would just break up fights the bestway he knew how with a baseball bast and special delivery of punishment. Now the guy has to do things by the book still the money was great and he felt like he could handle any situation which comes his way. Anubis could help out too but the demon mummy had his own scores to settle before helping any person out in battle.

He ordered the special and started sitting down and eating the cake thinking something needed to change before he freaks out. Craig thought this wasn't going to be easy like before a lot had changed.

"I can sense you have alot on your mind sir" Zen said. Does a battle not please you? I assure you no one will find out about it" Zen had a feeling about the man he had never seen or laid eyes upon because he was still reading his book.

"The reason why i offer you this is because i havent done anything in months. Im afraid im getting rusty if you know what i mean. Then again you are just a human you wouldnt know what im talking about." Zen said. It was very unlike Zen to instigate fights but he felt like he needed to train and do something exiting soon and picking a fight might just what he needs to break his month long rut.

Someone wanted to fight? He thought was this even happening at least somebody has some balls at least the guy was willing to throw down. Craig wasn't going to let an opportunity like this slip from his fingers this will give the chance to see what needs improving. "About damn time, I was about ask an stranger but with the Soul society protecting people it kinda bad for people like me to get some work for my powers" He said. He started cracking his knuckles he couldn't let the fight start in this cafe, he had some bad memories from last time. He cracked a guy's skull maybe taking the fight would the nice thing that he ever did from an establishment instead of tearing the whole place down.

"Fine, by me if you wanna be a better fighter but let's take it outside because this a fine cafe don't wanna have UFC floorshow here" He said.

"Fine by me lets take it outside sir" Zen said as he walked out of the cafe and walked to the back of the cafe where there was a very large private plaza. There he sat down on a chair as an ear microphone formed on his left ear and a thin blue musical Stave formed around him not displaying any music at the moment. Did the other man know what he had gotten himself into, did he know that Zen was an ex-captain for the gotei 13, did he know that if Zen fought without his gigai on the man could explode?

Zen the spoke in a very arrogant tone "Hurry up I dont have all day"

Craig was thinking maybe he should go all out on this guy but still this was a shinigami who seemed worn down a bit. Craig started walking to secure spot this seemed perfect enough for a fight seeing that the human was a little out of shape. The guy should go all out seeing that this was a shinigami and the better his training would go if his best moves were first. "Ok then I guess....We should start and leave the introductions for later" He said. He started off with his final reiatsu transformation. Everything on Craig's left turned white and everything on the right turn black. Both white and black with infuse upon him. The process is painful as he'll start to scream but the end he'll look something like an fallen angel. Then Craig's reiatsu gauntlets appear as he started looking at his opponent wondering what should be first. This was kinda funny because this was the form which was created when his best friend died in his arms, he never thought to use it again.

Craig started flying in the air looking some targets as he used his ranpu psychokinesis on a few trash cans. The trash cans started floating into the air and then he threws them at the shinigami. "If the guy uses bankai then this is going to be trouble..." He thought.

Zen just sat there as the trash cans came at him and then he said "Breve". Zen sent out a reiatsu wave that would restored the other mans reiatsu back to normal levels if it hit. This wave was circular and flying at an astounding rate as Zen just sat there. Then little orbs of condensed reiatsu flew at the trashcan blowing them up before they hit Zen. "Bakudo 63 Sajo Sabaku" Zen utteterd. A chain of reiatsu flew out towards the other man following the Breve wave. If reve should hit the other man he would love his super-human reiatsu and then would have been entangled by the chains.

Craig saw the chain coming and started flying upward hoping the chain wouldn't come after him thinking it would take enough willpower the guy was willing to gamble on it. He used his ranpu psychokinesis on the chain stopping it but this thing felt strong it was giving him a big headache. Craig sent the chain away with a wave of his hand and started holding his head that hurt it took his willpower and reiatsu just to stop the thing. He tried shaking off the feelinf but the headache was still their trying to think of another attack, Craig wasn't ready to use his final attack against the shinigami.

He flies right into the shinigami tackling him into a wall and floats up looking at the damage getting ready for the shinigami's next move. The human heartbeat was at medium pace still he was hoping he could win this fight...
