No More Auto Shikai? (Global Discussion)

No Auto Shikai

As most of you saw in the Racial Discussion thread or for those who have been here on the site long enough, the idea of eventually disabling most new Shinigami applications with automatic Shikai has been tossed around once a certain amount of Shinigami were made on the site. I believe that time has finally come and I think we should start enforcing that sometime this week. Thus, since this is a major move, I want to get some discussion going about how others feel about it before we go through with it.

I simply believe we have enough people with Bankai, enough with Shikai and enough seats filled within the Gotei 13 to start allowing others to work their way up to Shikai. If they are still hellbent on having that, then they can either make a Vizard or Ziamichi to help increase the population of other races. Since, after this goes into effect, most Vizards will still be able to start off with Shikai. Some with Bankai in order to fill up spots in The Vizard Corps and The Monsutā. So if you still want to have that if this goes in effect, make one of those two races.

I also intend to do the same thing for Vizards once their numbers are up there. Around the 50 or 60 mark, we may start making most Vizards work their way up from Shinigami in order to become one and eventually stop allowing auto-shikai for Vizards as well. The same can be said for most other races on the site so everything will eventually become balance. We need a wide cast of characters to keep the site going and things balanced. Besides, if you stick with us for awhile, eventually you will become strong. It's a matter of also weeding out those who join for one week and then disappear as well.

I should also mention that those who put good effort into their applications may also still get Shikai. Since if someone is putting in the hard work, I believe their efforts should be paid off. So if you are still hellbent on making a Shinigami, you better put in quality work to keep that Shikai. Who knows, you may even get Bankai. It's just a matter of keeping things under contorl.

Anywho, those are just some of my thoughts on it. I wanna hear what others think before we go through with this like I said. So leave your input, opinion, solution, idea or whatever in the next post and we will discuss it. If nothing happens in this thread, I will probably go through with it at the start of this week, May 23rd or May 24th.
