S H I N I G A M I
B A S I C I N F O R M A T I O N
Name: Yokkyu Amai
Gender: Male
Age: 1000
Appearance:
Yokkyu is very different compared to most Shinigami, despite keeping
normal racial normalities - he is very different than the others in
almost every aspect. First and foremost, he has long, shiny midnight
black hair that is draped down to the end of his back, while most
Shinigami have a much more normal hairstyle. His arms are very long, as
well as having a beautiful set of claws on his hand. His clothes are
however not very different from the rest, as he wears the typical
clothing of the shinigami - black robes with a white trim, of course
under his glorious Captain Haori. To be more detailed, let's start from
the top and work down. His face is sort of ovalish, yet keeps a sort of
round appearance on the sides, and comes to a narrow end at the chin.
His cheek bones sort of jut out, but nothing that ranges out of what is
considered the "norm". On his forehead rests a thin scar that would take
up about a quarter of the space of his central forehead. His lips are a
light pink color and seem to never get chapped. His teeth are all
normal, aside from the canine teeth, which on both the bottom and top
set are respectfully long, and deathly sharp, as if he had the teeth of a
wolf. His eyes are a golden-yellow color, and his skin is a creamy
pale-ish color.
Onto his torso, but this time around, we'll
exclude the clothes he wears and come back to them at a later time. His
chest is pale and completely bare, with muscles in most spots for a man
of his build. Both of his pecks are 5.5'', perfectly square, leaving a
1'' gap between them. Below his pecks lie his rips, which do not jut out
like most others. Yokkyu also has six 2inch2 abs, three on the left and
three on the right side of his abdominal area. Like the rest of his
torso, his skin is bare and pale. His chest is covered by his armor,
which is able to ensure moderate damage before busting. It should also
be noted that Yokkyu gets about 52% of his height from his back.
Yokkyu's
legs are normal, having both, unlike his arms. Each leg is roughly 3.5
feet long, which is typically long for legs. Both are pale like his
body, yet muscular like an athlete's, giving him amazing running speeds,
and even greater shunpo speeds than he would get were he any different.
His calves are large and defined, as well. Both feet would be a size
13.5 in men's, however, other than the stated information, the lower
part of his body is not unique in any other way, aside from a large scar
being located in the center of his left foot, which is odd, seeing as
many wouldn't typically get attacked at the foot...
His clothes,
on the other hard, are a bit different. They make up most of his unique
appearance. He wears a white kimono, with a large, spiked iron
shoulder-piece followed by a black steel armor plate for his chest, and a
yellow and purple sash worn around his waist to secure his Zanpakutou.
His clothes cover all of his body, aside from his hand and the very tips
of his claws, however, to start with, we'll do this like we did his
appearance - start from the top and work our way down until we reach the
end of the description of his clothes. As stated, his wears a large,
mainly white kimono. It covers all of his chest, goes over his shoulders
and drapes down his left side (his armless side). However, on his right
side, the kimono goes down, just barely passing his hand, barely
exposing the tips of his claws. Towards the top left of the kimono is a
white and red pattern, which has a large red spot, filled with white
squares. Over his left shoulder rests a large, spiked iron piece of
armor, which connects at the middle of his left shoulder plate, over his
shoulder, and onto his left peck, and onto the corner of his black
chest plate. On his right shoulder rests a large pelt of wolves fur,
which on his backside drapes down to almost the floor and flows behind
him, but on the right it only goes to about upper-mid chest level. In
the center of his chest rests his black chest plate, with a gold and red
trim, used for nothing but looks, seeing as spiritual characters are
much stronger than ordinary characters. It is merely for the looks and
the feel. On the back side of his left sleeve is the same pattern that
Yokkyu has on his upper left neck-piece, a red splotch with a white
block pattern. Towards the lower end of his chest plate is a purple and
yellow sash, which is tied tightly around his waist, leaving two
streamers in front, none in the back. It is used to keep Yokkyu's
Zanpakutou in place, which is securely fastened on his left hip. He
wears long white pants, with black & pointy shoes.

Personality:
Yokkyu is and always has been a very hard person to please and to
satisfy. It has always either been his way, or no way at all, or he'd
end up getting either frustrated and/or pissed. It was difficult for him
to get his way, so he often shown himself as a rude, arrogant and
easily-frustrated male, though always showing expertise when it came to
being a leader. Being a Leader, he was always stern and believed all
those under him should and would obey him, or they'll suffer the
appropriate consequences to learn right from wrong, and to spot a
mistake before it could happen. He was generally a jerk to everyone,
even the other Captains, but knew when and how to show respect when he
absolutely needed to, and didn't show it unless he knew he needed to do
so. It was just his way of life, it was his way of living. He has many
likes, and many dislikes, and he is normal like everyone else and has
habits like everyone else, sharing common beliefs, though his attitude
was a bit different from everyone elses.
To start, he liked
things to go his way, this meant his subordinates listening ATTENTIVELY,
paying attention to each and every word he would say, and if they
didn't, they'd suffer the consequences. He also liked when he had the
ability to help the unintelligent, always lending a sharp tongue to whip
them into shape, and if they didn't listen for whatever reason, he
would be done with trying and simply give up. Unlike most Captains, he
thoroughly enjoyed doing paper work, as it gave him time off to focus on
the important things, and less time to chit chat about pointless
things. He, like most Captains enjoyed his privacy and time alone
especially, as when he was alone he had time to think and concentrate
about important decisions. Now this doesn't mean he didn't like being
around people, he just enjoyed some time alone every now and then - a
bit of focus time. He also liked to train, whether he trained himself,
or a subordinate, which either one he'd train as vigorous as
shinigamily-possible, pushing himself and his subordinates to their
utmost extreme limit, to ensure that the both of them achieved the best
result as possible. Though, oddly for a man like Yokkyu, he liked
spending time in the World of the Living, as he felt a strange
connection with the realm... a connection he could not explain.
With
many likes, a man like Yokkyu is bound to have dislikes as well, and he
strongly... "disliked" these things, in fact, he had a pure hatred for
these things, and they could easily set him off into a giant fit. For
starters, he absolutely looked down upon and utterly despised cocky
people, as he thought that they believed they were superior, while in
the end them being cocky proved that they were in fact inferior beings
who simply believed something they couldn't achieve. He also despised
being interrupted, and when interrupted, Yukkyu will quit what he is
saying and simply glare at his peer with a look of disgust and disregard
for manners as he could possibly muster. He also strongly disliked when
people spoke too much, as he believed it as a weakness, as the person
who spoke too much did not realize it, but if it were a battle, while
they spoke their giant forever-long book, they could of had their neck
slashed, and have their blood spilled all over the floor. He also hates
it when inferiors are disrespectful to superiors, especially when it
came to a Shinigami <-> Captain relationship, as he thought each
Shinigami should show the utmost respect to a Captain, whether they are
or are not the Captain that they serve under.
Even though Yokkyu
is a bit different from the others in terms of likes and dislikes, he is
somewhat similar to others when it comes to having the typical habits,
such as - he tends to think much about his existence, he doesn't know
who he is, or why he is where he currently is. He does not know why he
chose to become a Shinigami to slay hollows, nor does he know why he
even kills hollows, as they react to pure instinct. He also has a habit
of tending to look down upon others, even though he dislikes it when
others look down upon anyone else, he thinks it or more correctly, he
does not notice it yet, but he thinks it is okay for him to look down
upon others, as he secretly believes he is superior to most, if not all
in some way or another. He also has a habit of walking fast, which is
irritating to his peers, as he will be walking at his normal fast pace,
and they will not yet be use to it and struggle to keep up with his odd
form of stroll. He also tends to jump to conclusions too often, usually
not waiting to hear the whole story before he begins to accuse others of
things he is not yet 100% sure of, though he is only... part human, it
is as expected. He also has an odd habit of laughing at his own jokes,
which due to his personality makes it awkward for his dry sense of
humor-self to laugh at his own joke, which others tend to make fun of
him about.
Like most Shinigami and Vizard, Yokkyu believes in
proper justice, though for which side is unknown as of yet. Him, being a
Vizard can see it from both perspectives with equality and fairness to
both. Having hollow powers, he understands partially what it is like to
be hunted by the Shinigami by something you cannot control, and his
hollow part makes him despise the Shinigami for doing so. Likewise,
Shinigami side sees it the opposite way, that the hollows must be slain
and murdered simply for them following their instinct and eating the
souls of others, as it is what they naturally do. He believes in
justice, though in this case, it couldn't be considered justice, more
like twisted justice, which is greatly confusing. Being a man who
believes in justice, when if he is straight, he believes a man and a
man, or a woman and a woman have the right to be together if that is
what they wish to do, as there is nobody who wrote a life-binding rule
that it must be the other way around, and Yokkyu believes that all those
who oppose the idea are just in denial of being gay or bisexual
themselves.
Though Yokkyu as a person is hard to get along with,
as he is easily frustrated simply by doing some of the things he does
not like, such as being disrespectful. He is frustrated easily by going
against his beliefs, and will be quick to raise his voice or shout if he
does not get his way. Along with being easily frustrated, he is also
quite ignorant, not usually paying full attention to a situation before
he acts upon it, even though that is not proper justice, he is just
somewhat confused. Along with being ignorant, he is also very arrogant
and overconfident in his abilities, which is a major flaw on his behalf
and can cost him greatly if the time calls for a serious battle. Like
most of his seemingly mean personality, he is also a jerk, being the
first one to use bad language, and the first to insult for simple
prejudices, which is unjust and unfair, which inevitably makes him a
hypocrite, as he goes against his own beliefs and dislikes, which as
said above, he does not yet notice.
Yokkyu can be very cold,
callous, dispassionate figure, and is rather aloof, brooding, and
indifferent, willing to harm both his comrades and enemies should they
ever get in his way. He refers to anyone he does not find interesting as
"trash" and treats them as expendable. Despite this, like most of the
other top Shinigami, he is not particularly violent and will only fight
when provoked or ordered to by his leader. His cold demeanor allows him
to stay completely calm and in control in most situations, and he is not
easily surprised or caught off-guard. However, he does not seem to
comprehend the Human trait of fighting against all odds or the very
concept of the Human heart; when fighting any person who seems to
contain a 'heart', literally, symbolically, or anything of the such, he
always looks down on them because they allow their emotions to get in
the way of their fight.
Yokkyu is also lazy and an unenthusiastic
character at times, who, apparently spends much of his time thinking
and which no one appears to try and stop him from doing. In fact, he
rarely directly addresses any being below himself. Despite being one of
the highest-ranking Shinigami, he is not eager to take a leadership
role, shown when he easily allows others to take over a battle of
insignificance. He is not particularly interested in whatever is going
on around him, although he is surprisingly observant and a capable
analyst. Unlike many of the Shinigami, he is not violent or overly
arrogant. Yokkyu has also shown himself to be extremely aggressive, but
still calm. When taking little field trips around the world, whoever he
faces he utterly defeats, or tries to. Despite his current villainous
status to the Espada, and current position of authority, Yokkyu is a
surprisingly polite, soft-spoken intellectual, often addressing his
subordinates by their given names. He rarely shows any sign of alarm or
distress and often has entire situations planned out well in advance.
Whenever confronted, Yokkyu is casual and uncaring, attempting to draw
out a conversation and make small talk, which often infuriates the one
he is talking to. He does so because he believes them to be unnecessary
to him at the current time, and he, in truth, tries to draw out their
emotions, as he believes emotions to be a large flaw, and the more flaw
he can draw out, the more of an advantage he believes he can have over
his opponent, and in the end, kill them.
Yokkyu is a rather quiet
person. Talking isn't his thing. He believes he has a mouth for a
reason, to express an opinion and not to talk things through. He
believes his blade is the one who does all of the talking. He isn't rude
or anything, its just that he doesn't like to talk and he is a rather
... irrational person at times. Though when he does speak, it isn't very
many words, and its rather quiet, almost a mumble, or a whisper. At
times, Yokkyu is forced to talk, and when he is forced to talk, he talks
rather quick, and rather rude. Though he doesn't mean to, he gets fed
up with the chit-chat he's being made to do. As said before, he just
doesn't like to talk. End of story. Period. He uses small, simple words
in times when he is 'required' to talk, if-you-will.
Yokkyu,
though quiet, stands for what he believes in. He's always there to fight
the long battle, always there to take the journey to Right and fight
the "evil" people. He protects his friends because he believes
friendship is the key to strength. His strength is drawn from his
friends. Not literally though; as in he fights for his friends, and his
friends are the reason he fights. It's not to be a Shinigami, or a
Captain of a Division, no. It's for the people that make his life and
his job easier, his friends. He believes that if there is a path to more
power, there is a path to keep your friends safe - but himself
personally wouldn't aspire to get that power. Which is exactly why he
doesnt look down on the Vizards, he believes they have greater power,
which makes them more capable people. He doesn't mind that they
"betrayed" the Soul Society, because in truth, Yokkyu would do that too.
Yokkyu would take that offer up in an instant if he could, its power,
baby! Who could refuse?
Hobbies:
- Being the quiet type,
Yokkyu likes to be alone and by himself, it gives him time to think by
himself. He usually doesn't like to be disturbed while he is in thought,
but he wouldn't particularly mind if someone were to interrupt him. He
simply likes to be by himself when he thinks, as when he does, he tends
to speak out loud and to himself, softly, however, he doesn't want
people to know his inner and personal thoughts, so that is why it is a
hobby to be alone: to think by himself.
- This sort of ties in
with the first one, however it is a little different. Yokkyu enjoys to
go on long walks throughout the Dangi Realm. He'll leave Soul Society
and walk through the realm, basking in the cool midnight air. During
this time, he often goes back to his previous hobby of thinking,
however, he mainly walks to relieve himself of the prescience of others,
and when he goes on a walk, this is the time he WOULD mind to be
interrupted. It's not as if he'll snap at you, as his voice is always
calm, but he wouldn't particularly like you, and he would view you as an
annoying pest in his personal conscience.
- Yokkyu inevitably
has a hobby to fight - he is, after all, a Shinigami of significant
power. He got his hobby from fighting so many hollows in his time. The
two races are known to fight, and have been known to fight for thousands
upon thousands of years. Despite his calm nature, Yokkyu can't simply
abandon his racial urges to fight and to kill. The more he fights, the
more he gets consumed in battle and the more he is consumed, the
stronger he becomes, and the stronger he becomes, the easier it will be
to destroy the the enemies of Soul Society. It isn't a personal thing,
rather, it's something that is based off of instinct for him. It's his
Shinigami instinct to fight and to kill, to fight and to kill MAINLY his
racial enemy - the Hollows.

- Yokkyu's favorite
place in all of Soul Society would have to be the Forest. He absolutely
loves to visit that place, it brings him satisfaction galore. He enjoys
spending time there because there is a multitude of dead & thriving
trees, crystals of all sorts, trees that contain the occasionalsquirrel,
and an entire dead forest teeming with unseen life, and if one is
lucky, even an old friend!
- Unlike most Shinigami, and unlike
most any sentient being, Yokkyu loves a good challenge. Being a high
ranked Shinigami, he rarely gets a challenge, unless it is from a
superior, which there are very few Yokkyu knows of. And whenever Yokkyu
gets the chance, he will fight an opponent that is exceptionally strong
compared to him, however it doesn't always have to be in strength.
Yokkyu is also a very smart and talented Shinigami, knowing enough
science to qualify him for that of Squad 12! - and he would accept an
intellectual challenge, or possibly a historical challenge, even a
location or speed challenge. Any challenge is a challenge, and any
challenge is worth trying because to Yokkyu is equals fun!
Dislikes-
First, let it be stated that simply because Yokkyu is a quiet and calm
person doesn't mean he doesn't have a fair share of dislikes.
-
Yokkyu has a strong dislike when it comes to people who refuse to see
the truth. For example, if a person is fighting him, and Yokkyu had the
advantage and is winning, yet the person on the other end of the battle
is over there talking about how if only they can pull through, if only
they could do this one thing, they'd win the battle, regardless of how
impossible it seems. That is a person, to Yokkyu, who's eyes aren't
capable of seeing the truth, a person who is guided by false hope and a
person who should have their eyes removed and killed for the mere
thought of doing such an impossible thing when it is clear they are
unable.
- For racial reasons, Yokkyu has a strong dislike when it
comes to a Hollows. He doesn't understand why he loathes them, however,
his instincts tell him to, whether it's blind hatred or clear hatred,
he hates them nonetheless. He tries to see from both sides; the
Shinigami side being: 'They kill innocents mindlessly', and the hollow
side, 'We have minds, we kill because me must do so to survive', and
once again theirs, 'It is our duty to protect the innocent and purge the
evil', and his once more, 'Who are you to declare what is good and what
is evil, what is just and unjust? Who gave you permission to protect,
what if it is us you should be protecting, but don't realize it due to
your own ignorance'. No matter what side he looks at it from, the side
of hatred is always the overpowering side.
- Yokkyu also strongly
dislikes Vizards - or, a Shinigami who has obtained Hollow-Like
powers.. They gain their hollow powers in some odd, mixed up topsy turvy
scenario that turns their entire life around, while a hollow has a
natural process: Menos, Adjuchas, Arrancar. Or possibly, Menos,
Adjuchas, Vasto Lorde, Arrancar, depending on if that specific hollow
has the capability to become a Vasto Lorde in the first place. Vizard
transformation involves them hollowifying off to gain more power, which
is an abonimation to any shinigami.
Goals: In truth, the only
goals Yokkyu has is to ensure he keeps his power within his division.
He wants to ensure this Squad is under proper command for as long as he
has the ability to. He also hopes to one day be able to reach a
compromise with his Zanpakutou, thus convincing it to allow him Bankai,
which for the given time - it will not allow him to do. Like achieving
bankai, which is a way of gaining more power - Yokkyu does wish that one
day his skills will be adequate enough to some day lead the Gotei in
its entirety - as the Captian Commander. That goal, however, it one
Yokkyu isn't too ambitious to pursue.
Fears: Yokkyu is a very
cold person - thus only cold things can scare him. The only cold thing
that scares him is people being colder than him, which would be moreso a
surprise than a fear. However, his ultimate fear is loosing his
Division and the Onmitsukido to one of lower potential then
Positive Traits
Lawful - Yokkyu is a extremely lawful person, and will stop at nothing
to ensure justice is served. He believes the laws were set there to
ensure the safety of the Shinigami. He will stop at nothing to ensure justice is carried out...
Confident - Although this could count as a flaw, to Yokkyu, and for
Yokkyu, it is something somewhat on the good side. He is confident in
his powers and abilities, and sure that he can find some way to do what
he needs to do, one way or another. He does, of course know he is not
the best, but he knows for sure he's not anywhere near the worst.
Dutiful - Like being extremely lawful, Yokkyu will stop at nothing to
ensure his duties are fulfilled completely as asked. Even those who work
under him, he will try all in his power to ensure they too perform
their duties properly. There are two things Yokkyu doesn't mess around
with: Law, and Duty.- Respectful - Yokkyu knows when to show respect, and when to make others respect him. He knows he is mean, and he wont b
mean without proper reason. He understands that the easiest way to get
others to follow you lead is through respect, but knows that an iron
first is the way to go sometimes as well. He tends to keep more to the
respect side, however. - Knowledgeable - Serving in the
Onmitsukido for quite some time, Yokkyu i a trained assassin. Being a
trained Assassin, Yokkyu has learned quite a number of useful tactics to
use in combat. The most notable of those tactics is the knowledge of
the Hand to Hand Martial Arts Tradition: Koshijutsu, which uses the
fingers as the weapon, striking points on the body to render other parts
immobile. On top of that, he knows the areas of the tendons and
ligaments quite well, and will use those to his advantage as well.
Negative Traits
Lawful - While being a good think to Yokkyu, it doesn't make it a good
thing FOR Yokkyu. In performing the laws to the letter, he obviously
risks danger. He could easily get too confident and overstep his bounds.
Anger - While Yokkyu tries to remain respectful as best a he can, his
temper if very short. His anger is a small wick with the match always
close by. He can easily begin to boil over the smallest things and go on
a large rage about respect and duties and all other things other people
don't want to hear.- Confident - While Yokkyu does know he
is not the best, his confidence might be a little too high. If he thinks
he can do it, he will try. And normally this wouldn't be a bad thing,
but however, when applied to battle, it could easily become a bad thing.
Even a fatal thing. - Duties - Like mentioned above, Yokkyu
is very serious about law and duties. With duties, he puts them above
him and those around him. Being Shinigami, he knows he was made to
complete a specific duty, the mission gave to him. Those around him were
as well, and he will risk his life, not so much those around him's, but
his own to ensure he gets as close to fulfilling his duty as
shinigamily possible. - High Self Regard - Although this seems
contradictory to what is above, it's not meant in that way. He believes
himself to be great, not so much battle wise, but stature wise. He
believes he should be very respected, and while he gives respect, he
won't take anything BUT respect from those around him. Simply because he
gives respect doesn't mean he thinks others to be above him. He just
knows it's the best way to go, and he expects similar things from those
around him.

History/Background:
Yokkyu's eyes flashed open, as he laid where he was dead, and without
a seconds thought, he jumped up, feeling his legs, back and head,
noticing he had no arrows anymore, and was somehow alive. With a
confused expression, his gaze turned down to his chest, where he noticed
a giant chain, which had two chain circles on it, before it was at his
chest. It didn't hurt him, but it was there, and he couldn't remove the
chain, as he tried to force it off from his chest. Confused, he thought
he was in a dream, he began to wander around, noticing his hunger and
fatigue were long gone - this couldn't be a dream, it just couldn't be.
Things were too great to be a dream, he FELT this, you didn't FEEL
dreams, you SAW dreams, but you never felt a dream, and this was sure as
shit no dream at all.
However, as sure as Yokkyu was, he couldn't
have been more wrong, for his eyes flashed open once kmore, revealing
the luxurious room in the Amai Family Manor. With an irritated grunt, as
well as a sigh that revealed his obvious frustration, he rose from his
bed and wandered down to the large kitchen of the Amai Manor. Little did
he knew, he would be faced with a decision, a very important decision.
Perhaps the most important decision his life has ever seen, and ever
will see. He, however, had no way of knowing such a thing. He continued
in his innocent ignorance, having the kitchen chefs fix him up something
interesting. It was a ceation wrought of many spices with rice and duck
sauce. It wa delicious, but Yokkyu was interrupted by the Third Male of
the Amai Clan. Yokkyu was the hier to the clan, and did not like bing
interrupted. He was very young at this time, just celebrating his 100th
year of life.
His brother had a serious look on his face, and
explained that their father was making all males in the family join the
Shino Academy. The Amai clan had many members of the clan in the Gotei,
and it was time the sons, the future of the Amai clan joined. However,
would Yokkyu accept? It wasn't something he was interested in, though he
had indeed thought of it before. He didn't think he had the potential
to be anything good, but knew that one day he would lead the clan, and
for that, like his father, he would need power. And respect. What better
way to get power and respect than to be a high ranked officer in the
Gotei? Yokkyu knew for a fact it wouldn't be anything easy, and nothing
that would go by quickly. If he did this, he would have to devote his
time to his training and to the Gotei, and less of the Amai. However, he
knew he had time. His father had many years left of his life, so his
duties as Hier could be put on hold for some time. Yokkyu had decided to
join, and the males were to go to the Shino Academy and enroll first
thing next morning.
The males did exactly that, going straight to the
Shino Academy first thing in the morning. They had told their purpose,
and who they were. There would be no delays. The Amai were feared
greatly throughout Soul Society. They were known to be violent, though
some could be kind, that is simply not what they were known for. He was,
however, promised that this would be no easy task - completing the
academy and all. It required ones utmost dedication to learning the arts
of a Shinigami, which many surprisingly do not have. Yokkyu was of
course undaunted by this fact and decided to continue on with the
registration, knowing good and well exactly what lay before him. He was
told he could spend up to ten years in this place, depending on how he
progressed in comparison to the others. To his relief, the real work
wasn't beginning any time soon, it was more or less simple classes,
teaching the students exactly what the Shinigami's main enemy was... the
hollows...
These were mindless creatures who were unfortunately
never saved by the Zanpakutou of an honored Shinigami, Yokkyu learned.
He had felt some connection to the beasts, as though he had seen them
before, and as if he understood them more than most others... but it was
just a feeling. The lessons in hollows continued, teaching the students
the different types of hollows, and also telling them that their powers
vary. Supposedly there were 4 classes of hollows - the normal hollows
which usually plagued the Realm of the Living. Next up in the latter of
power were the Menos Class Gillian, which resided in another dimension
known as Hueco Mundo, the realm of the hollows. If a hollow were to
somehow gain individuality, they would be able to consciencelessly
continue up through the ranks, devouring their own kind to gain power.
Yokkyu learned that they only had ONE chanc, and if they messed up,
they'd revert to mindless beasts and be forced into a state of
subconscience. If they however made it, they'd gain a more humanoid form
and become known as an Adjuchas. Adjuchas were about Vice-Captain
power, and were not something to take lightly. If the Adjuchas was born
to become the next class, then they would indeed become the next class.
Regardless, an Adjuchas must always feed on hollows, else they'll return
to a mindless Menos. If they made it, they'd become known as a
formidiable Vasto Lorde - a form of hollow that most resembles a
humanoid figure, and possibly beyond Captain-Class.
Those studies
took up two years of Yokkyu's time at the academy, and next began the
real training. He would be presented with an ordinary sword and would
learn the art of Zanjutsu - the art of weilding a sword. This sword
would become his zanpakutou, a being that he had yet to connect with. He
continued his studies and training sessions with the sword, entering
the Academy tournaments from time to time, usually ending up in second
or third among the entire Academy, due to his skills with he blade. Soon
after the studies with the blade were complete, he began with the art
of Hoho, which would later develop into shunpo - a shinigami's
fast-movement. All shinigami must be able to perform the simplest
variation of Hoho: Shunpo before they could graduate. Most students,
Yokkyu included, got the hang of this pretty quickly. And Yokkyu, like
the blade, was very proficient with it, however, this time, not anywhere
near the best. He decided his shunpo needed a lot of work. After the
studies of Hoho were complete, the studies in the Demon Art: Kido began.
This was a Shinigami's main magical weapon aside from their zanakutou.
They could perform a multitude of things with Kido - from making a
simple light to aid you in your travels to summoning six rods of bright
light to completely immobilize your opponent. All the academy students
needed to do for now was to perform Bakudo 1: Sai, and Hado 1: Sho and
they would make it out fine. Yokkyu, like the others, performed Kido to a
satisfactory level.
The final test of the Academy was to send
him far off from the protection with the Academy, and allow them to
demonstrate their skills they have learned within the Academy. No leader
was chosen among the group, but they would have to fend off the
weakling hollows that had managed to enter the Soul Society. This is
usually where Shinigami acheived their Shikai, and where the Academy
would decide to place them. Cast out of the acadmemy a week after the
notice of the final test, the Academy students were confident, save for a
few who believed they would be at the mercy of a mindless hollow.
Yokkyu was placed with a squadron of 5 other Shinigami. He quickly
decided it was his duty to lead them, and grabbed their attention with a
flick of his sword. He demanded they follow under him for the time
being, and that they act as a stealth unit instead of one unit of brute
strength, where they would be wide open. With that in mind, the academy
students quickly agreed and listened to Yokkyu's orders each time a
hollow neared. With particularly quick flash steps, Yokkyu and his
squadron quickly decimated any hollow that came near them. However, the
next challenge wasnt so easy. A group of 3 hollows had appeared and
began to prove too much for the little Squadron. Yokkyu like the rest of
his team were thrown about, and clawed at by the beass, until Yokkyu
uttered some strange sentence, and his blade transformed to that of a
whip with six snake heads. He had done it without realizing it - he had
done it in a moment of great need - he had called upon his shikai. The
six snake heads danced and bobbed wildly at they were flicked to and
fro, , tearing the hollows to bits and pieces.
The squadron retreated
back to the academy to report their progress, as well as end their
test. They were all praised on their effort, especially Yokkyu which was
the only one to acheive Shikai in his Squad. They all, however were
placed within the Squad 2 barracks, as Yokkyu's leadership had shown
their talent in stealth. Yokkyu however learned quickly that his
zanpakutou hadnt returned to its sealed state, and felt as though he
should find out why. He meditated for a long while, until he entered a
dark domain with a coiled black python waiting for him, in striking
position. After questioning it, he learned his zanakutou was a very cold
and evil being who refused to be sealed where she could not taste the
blood of battle. With his answer given to him, the spirit forced him out
of her domain... and Yokkyu returned to his training in Squad 2,
working much on his Kido and Flash Steps, as well as learning and
mastering two techniques his Shikai offered him.
Upon graduation
and official employment as a Gotei Officer, Yokkyu had learned what had
happened to his brothers, who he had not seen since they joined. They
fared well, and were in seperate Divisions. Yokkyu did not care to know
who they worked under or what they did. From this day forward, he would
pay attention to himself until he achieved high enough prestige to make
his father proud. He was fit for Squad 2 for now, so he focused on
training his skills in hand to hand, as well as Shunpo. Of course, now
that he was in the Gotei, he was nothing special. All those above him,
all the seated officers were o much better than him at everything he
did. Sure, he was good back in the Academy, however, these guys were
much better. Their shunpos were so much higher, and their hand to hand
could beat Yokkyu silly. He knew he would have to focus on training for
many many years. Becoming a seated officer was the next thing he had to
worry about. He had to train, primarily with his shunpo, hand to hand,
and kido. And so he did.
Yokkyu trained for many years, around 400
years, gaining him the strength he needed to become the Divisions next
fifth seat. Yokkyu, being about 540 years of age, give or take a few
years here and there, was now a well respected member of Squad 2 and the
Onmitsukido. Of course, in comparison to those above him, Yokkyu was
still not too great. He knew he had to continue to train, and so he
would. He was sent on scouting parties to the World of the Living,
exterminating many many hollows, while gaining experience and
effectively training and pushing themselves past their very own limits.
Throughout the experiences s a fifth seat and the trips the World of the
Living, Yokkyu had undoubedtly gained more power, being able to surpass
the fourth seat during his duties. He was slowly gaining a more
prominent hold on the Division he believed to eventually be his.
With
the next 100 years came obviously more training. However, more
importantly, Yokkyu had began to look at himself. He was crule, and very
crazy in comparison to the others. during his time, he had studied
those around him, comparing them to him. He knew he had to bring a
change. He couldnt gain any mor power doing things as he did them. Over
the years, his personality slowly morphed into that of a more respectful
man, slowly pushing aside the fact he was noble. He had learned that
his duties were extremely important, and gained a more firm
understanding of the law, interpreting it and studying it for many
years.
Instead of gaining raw experience and gaining new levels that
way, he had began to train with members of his division, training them,
and being trained. He was turning 700 soon, a relatively old age
compared to those around him. However he continued, he continued
training. He continud to gain more power.
With his new personaliy
brought new desires. He had decided it would be best if he had joined
Squad 6, the Law Squad. Similar to Squad 2, they would exact the law to
the fullest. The skills he had in battle, as well as the knowledge he
held made him absolutely perfect for the Squad. He put in for a Division
transfer, and continued his training, focusing mainly on Kido, Zanjutsu
and Shunpo. His hand to hand was superb, his Zanjutsu just needed a bit
more work. He often went to Squad 5's Barracks and trained his skills
with the sword with their members, seing as they are the combat squad.
Eventually his request for tranfer to Squad 6 had been acknowledged and
accepted, moving him to the Squad, as well as upgrading him to the
unoccupied Third Seat. Excited, of course, he did not stray from his
training. He knew it would be the most importnt change in his life.
His
personality began to solidify, becoming harder and more dense - it
seemed as though this was the new Yokkyu. He had served the Squad for
nearly 100 years and his skills with his sword were surpassing his
Lieutenant and being presented with the Vice Captain position under the
Captaincy of a particularly interesting man. With a favored position and
much respect, Yokkyu continued his training and continued to serve in
the Sixth Squad third seat, oon to be 2nd seat Leiutenent. His shunpo
quickly rose in speed and the distances it covered became larger. Yokkyu
had decided to train mainly in the art of Bakudo as he realized he
would need more Bakudo than he would Hado. He had eventually fought for
the rank of Vice Captain of Squad 6, defeating his opponent with a
moderate struggle. He believed he had deserved this rank, and knew it
was right for him. Eventually he would be the Captin of this Squad. He
simply knew it.
Being about 800 years old now, Yokkyu had a firm grip
on the Division with his Captain. Rarely did they have to fight any
shinigami aspiring to leave, but the Captain had taken Yokkyu into his
apprenticeship, something he had never done before. The Captain began to
personally train Yokkyu in the art of Shunpo, Hand to Hand, Zanjutsu
and Kido, teaching him pretty much all he knew. The Captain had also
told him that he would step down, as he knew for a fact Yokkyu had
surpassed him as the years went by. The only thing Yokkyu needed to do
was to attain his bakai, which was no simply feat. Hebinoyo would simply
not work together with him! He knew he had to do it though, he knew he
would have to! H knew this was for him, and with his fathers passing
soon coming, he would be the head of the Clan, and he needed a prominent
position to work with. It had to be done, and he wouldn't sit for a
"no".
Yokkyu's age now fast approaching 870, he decided the time as
now. He had enough training to surpass his Captain, but would respect
his wishes and take the Division under the circumstance that he obtained
Bankai. He visited his anpakutou Spirit one night when all was quiet
within the Barracks. He ventured deep into his conscience and into his
Inner World where the beast awaited. Yokkyu stated why he was there,
explained what he needed and why. Hebinoyo simply wouldn't have it. She
wouldn't give it to him, and Yokkyu understood what he had to do. she
did not believe in his skills, and did not believe he would use her
properly. The two knew each other perfect enough to know that they both
were beginning to fight. And so it happened.
They fought furiously,
each striking at each. They proved to each other they were of equal
standing, but Hebinoyo still wouldn't take it. Yokkyu, with a broken
arm, began a furious tongue lashing, attacking the supposed bond between
the two. Those words were what had defeated Hebinoyo and Yokkyu knew
it., and so out of respect, he left. The two didnt speak to eachother
for around a week, until Yokkyu ventured back to apologize. He met her
there, and the two spoke, and Hebinoyo admitted she had no idea what she
was doing, and told Yokkyu the truth that what she was doing was out of
not truly trusting him. Yokkyu had indee proven himself, and she had
agreed to train him with bankai. She presented it to him and allowed him
to train with it for the next 50 years within the inner world ONLY, and
to not present it to any others until she felt he was ready. He trained
for those 50 years, obviously mastering the Bankai. Through the
personal training , Yokkyu and Hebinoyo had established a firm bond. She
was not so much a bitch anymore, and was more understanding. Yokkyu had
thanked her many times, and presented himself to his Captain, telling
him he had finally obtained Bankai.
The Captain gave up his position
and went into retirement, knowing th Squad was in right hands. Mor
capable, more powerful hands than his. Yokkyu has to this day continued
to serve his Division, gaining power of course. He is a highly
respected Captain, with great power and vast insight. He commands the
Onmitsukido happily, and leads his Squad to greatness, following any
order he gets without hesitation, as it is his duty to serve and protect
in what ever way he could. He was a trained Assassin and a trained
warrior. He was prepared for anything that could come at him. However,
events had turned to the worse when Yokkyu was requested to return to
the Amai manor for an emergency meeting with his father. Yokkyu knew
exactly what it was about...
He arrived deep into the night, and had
met with his dying father in his personal room in the manor. His father
explained this was likely to be his last night, and he formally bestowed
upon Yokkyu the honor of being the head of the Amai Clan. His father
passed later that night, and all the clan knew of it. As the Hier, he wa
now the head of the clan. He would lead the clan to greatness in
whatever way he could. He was Yokkyu Amai, Head of the Amai Clan,
Captain of Squad 8.

Zanpakutô Spirit Name: Hebinoyo
Appearance:
Hebinoyo takes the form of a massive python. She however, is not the
ordinary different-shades-of-brown-and-black like most other Pythons
are. Instead, she is a lucid black massive Python with deep red eyes,
ready to stare into the sole of a victim as she slowly constricts and
swallows whole. Her scales are enormous and very durable, being very
difficult to break through. She has two large holes for her nostrils,
and a large mouth which is capable of unhinging at the jaw, to help her
swallow her prey if needed. Her tongue, like all snakes, is long and
fork-shaped, which is also lucid black in color
Inner World:
The inner world is a large and foggy bog. Unlike most bogs, the water
is not dirty, but black in color, matching Okuno's scales perfectly.
With no trees and only a moonlit, cloudless sky, this realm seems to be
one from a person's worst nightmares. With no trees in sight, and no
land anywhere to be found, the entire world is Okuno's domain, as when
she rises from the water, she seems to be the water itself taking shape
to a large, red-eyed python. Except for anything mentioned, this realm
is pretty bare.
Sealed Zanpakutô : Yokkyu's
Zanpakutou is a Katana fit for a king, and is beautiful down to the very
last detail. Unlike most, he treasures his Zanpakutou as if it were his
actual life partnet, and has added little modifications to his
Zanpakutou throughout his time as a Shinigami, adding gold here and
there, as well as Japanese writing. The blade while in the sheath
measures 32" in length, and the sheath is a beautiful dark blue color,
with three japanese characters symbolising his trust, companionship and
the honor of working with his Zanpakutou. About two and a half inches
towards the opening of the hilt is a dark blue wrapping which is used to
fasten the zanpakutou to Yokkyu's waist. In the center of the dartk
blue wrapping is a small circular ring which is used to hold the
wrapping in blade, ensuring that the wrapping does not leave Yokku's
waist.
The hilt of the blade is nothing extraordinary, though it
is still as elegant as the entire Zanpakutou, with the hilt being about
one and a half feet long, ensuring for a good grip, and much space to
change grips when in a tight lock. The hilt is wrapped in blue wrapping,
much like the exterior of the sheath, but the wrapping used on the hilt
is wrapped in a diamond formation, which creates multiple diamonds
throughout the length of the Zanpakutou, spanning from each end of the
hilt, which on each end is ended by a small golden cap. The cap has
small designs of a dragon around the perimeter of the golden caps, and
is as shiney as water on a midnights' beautiful evening. The gaurd, like
much of the sheath, has gold, which is in a small, 1-inch-in-diameter
circle around the hilt, which is defined as the gaurd, which has
engraved a tiny dragon that encircles the entire perimeter of the gaurd,
making it seem as though the blade has its very own bite to it.
Remove
the sheath from the Zanpakutou and you get the blade itself, which is a
beautiful silver color, with a wave design on the blade, that can only
be noticed in the darkest of nights, as when in the sunlight, the blade
is too reflectant to notice such variations on the blade, as Yokkyu
personally keeps the blade as shiny and beautiful as it could possibly
be. Like the sheath, the blade is 32" in length, and throughout the
length of the blade, it is razor sharp, having the ability to cut leafs
simply by touching them, cutting them as if they were absolutely
nothing. This is due to the Zanpakutou's personality being very... very
sharp, which is reflected upon by the sharpness of the blade. At the
very end of the blade, the tip is curved slightly at an acute angle,
making the tip of the blade deathly sharp, very sudden, unlike most
Zanpakutou Yokkyu has noticed thus far.
- Spoiler:
Release: Sejinwoodorokasu (Strike terror into people's hearts)
Shikai Description:
Heb is magnificent whip - with six lovely snake heads on the end of the
whips stem. The whip itself is coated in a lucid black substance. Like
all zanpakutou, it is very durable and seemingly indestructable (but as
we've seen, can in fact be broken). The stem (handle) of the whip is
about six inches long, giving him enough room to comfortably hold the
whip in one hand. The whip is connected to another leathery black
substance that connects the stem to the part that does the damage, the
whip itself, which that part is about 3 feet long. On the end of that
connecting lies six 8 feet long snakes, which are as black as the python
in Yokkyu's inner world. With lucid black scales, blood red eyes, a
black flickering tongue, and two long and sharp venomous fangs to each
snake, they are quite living indeed, giving them the opportunity to
fight ALONG with Yokkyu, attacking where they please unless Yokkyu
issues a mental command on exactly what to do. The snakes fangs are both
fit for stabbing and shreding, allowing Yokkyu to issue the snake a
command to inject venom with a bite, then tear out, leaving his oppnent
with a large bleeding gash. Typically there are multiple bites with
multiple gashes.
Shikai Abilities: The ability
of Okuno is to have access to two forms of venom - one numbing which
will eventually result in temporary paralysis, and the second venom one
of deadly break-down venom, capable of breaking down tissue and muscle.
Okuno is a very deadly Zanpakutou, but must be used right in order to be
effective. So, all in all, the ability of this Zanpakutou is to inject
different types of venom to sufficiently aid the wielder.
Techs: Name of abilty/technique: Paralyzing Bite
Description:
When either snake bites down into the opponents flesh, they deposit a
light green venom which then begins to numb the opponent, eventually
paralyzing whatever section was bitten. The more snakes bite, the more
effective the poison is.
Duration: Here is a chart showing how many
posts an infected area will be numbed and paralyzed for each snake that
bites. The ability can used until each snake is out of venom. So if all
but 1 snake bite, then the ability is still able to be used until that
last snake uses its paralyzing venom, but only by the snakes that havent
already used it. They recover from the ability once all the venom is
gone from all the snakes, and ONLY then. The paralyzing portion of the
venom will only kick in if its in a concentrated area. If the venomous
bites are spread out over a large area (six bites around the entire
body) the entire body will be numb, instead of a portion of the body
being paralyzed.
Cool Down: 3 posts after all 6 snakes have released their venom.
Preparation: No prep needed.
Name of abilty/technique: Deteriorating Bite
Description:
Very similar to the ability above, this venon replaces the paralyzing
venom. It can only be used during the cooldown of the ability above.
When the snakes bite into an infected area, the skin and muscle will
start to dissolve into nothingness. It takes awhile to do, and will ONLY
work in paralyzed areas. If used on an area that is not paralyzed, it
will have no effect absolutely whatsoever. The more snakes that bite,
the more skin will dissolve.
Duration: Like above, depends on the
amount of snakes biting. Like the venom above, this is only effective if
it's in a cencentrated area. For the venom to deteriorate properly the
venom must be injected in high enough relative area to the other bites,
else it'll only deteriorate the first few layers of skin, and wont bring
any serious damage.
Cool Down: 4 posts after all of this venom is used up, and AFTER all the venom from the technique above has been used.
Preparation: The first ability must be used before this one will possibly be able to activate.
Bankai Description:
Yokkyu's Bankai is a very unique one, as it represents two different
aspects of the snake. The two, however, are not in effect at the same
time. The first is a 40 foot long Kusarigama, and is the original weapon
when bankai is activated. Five snakes from the shikai merge to form the
chain, and the last and sixth snake forms the blade, but keeps its
head, and bites into the kusarigama blade, augmenting it with poison. It
is used for fast strikes, as well as using the chain to trap an enemy
effectively. The second is a 6-foot long scythe, which represents the
snakes strength. It is formed from the kusarigama, and the blade of the
scythe is of course longer, with the snake biting into it to augment it
with poison as well.
Bankai Abilities: The ability
of the bankai is to have the two poisons from shikai act in two
different weapon forms. The Kusarigama is augmented with the numbing and
paralyzing poison, while the scythe is augmented with the poison that
breaks down tissue and muscle.
Name: Suraisu
Effect: This is
the technique that turns the Kusarigama into the scythe. It means "To
Strike". With the scythe comes the poison to break down tissue and
muscle. Likewise, the poison depends on the opponents level to ensure it
effectiveness.
If an opponent is two or more levels below, two inches within the infected area will be dissolved within 2 posts.
If an opponent is one level below, two inches within the infected area will be dissolved within 4 posts
Same level, the infected area will be dissolved completely within 5 posts.
One level above, the infected area will be dissolved completely within 6 posts
Two or more levels above, the infected area will be dissolved within 8 posts.
Duration:
The scythe is active until Yokkyu ends bankai, or switches to the
Kusarigama. The poison lasts as long as Yokkyu strikes with the scythe.
Cooldown: None.
Name: Sutoraiku
Effect:
When in Suraisu, when Sutoriku is said, the scythe morphs back into the
Kusarigama. The Kusarigama is the same, 40 loot long chain, with a
sickle attached to the end of it. The poison works the same as the break
down poison, just instead of breaking down tissue, it numbs then
paralyzes infected areas depending on level. The chart for how effective
it is is above, just minus the part where it breaks down tissue.

Re: Yokkyu Amai

Role Play Sample:
- one:
- Hayami's greeting
was taken by a few seconds of absulute silence, as Hayami watched the
female fiddle with a cross in her hand. It seemed as if it was somewhat
amusing to the Quincy to do so, though Hayami couldn't possibly say for
sure - all Hayami knew was that she at least got her acknowledgment.
Even though Hayami wasn't expecting it, the female returned greetings by
saying the same, just directed at Hayami instead of herself. This
brought surprise to the inner thoughts of Hayami, though she didn't
allow these thoughts or this surprise to manifest itself upon her
psychical being, and instead, remained standing in the air, slightly
above the ground. Hayami just sat there, looking at the Quincy, saying
nor doing anything in particular - on purpose of course, for dramatic
purposes.
A slight gust of wind made its journey through Hayami's
hair, which blew it to the right as if it were but feathers. As well as
her hair, her robes also fluttered in the slight gust, which made a
slight "fwop"-ing noise, which, against her will, made Hayami giggle as
it reminded her of a Nursery Rhyme for some ridiculous reason. Along
with the physical manifestation of the being called Hayami, the nearby
trees, tree branches, leaves and shrubs also were being tampered with by
the gust - though unlike Hayami, to a much greater degree. Leaves were
flying in the air like it was some sort of miniature tornado, and
branches were blowing and making these long, dreadful creeking noises as
they were relatively close to completely snapping and falling. Though,
for some reason, no matter what happened to the trees and everywhere
else, it happened to a much much less degree on Hayami - though that
could possibly be because of her high reiatsu, naturally protecting her
more than normal...
Hayami, with her right hand, squeezed the
hilt of Zangetsu, and smiled as she felt the cold steel become slightly
colder the harder the squeezed it. With ease, the lifted it from her
shoulder and twirled it around on her ringers only to smal it into the
ground vertically, which made a relatively loud boom and crack noise.
With a smile, Hayami seemed to float higher in the air, and she placed
herself on top of the hilt to Zangetsu, while the tip was pressed deep
into the ground. Just like Zangetsu. Hayami thought as she
dropped both of her arms to her sides, making it look as is she was a
mass of fwopping robes with a dead attached to the top. She placed her
right foot on the hilt, and her left foot on top of her right foot,
making it seem as if she really only had one leg, when of course, she
had two. Her eyes shifted around for a few seconds, looking at the
Quincy, then at the nearby trees, then back at the Quincy, and at the
ground... and finally, rested her eyes upon the cross she held in her
hand.
She eyed the cross for about a minute or so, though her
face remained expressionless, she was in amazement, as she knew exactly
what that cross was, and exactly what it did. That is the famous
Quincy Cross... what the Quincy use to manifest their Spiritual Bows to
fight the hollows... I would really love to know how it worked... how it
gathered Reishi... and how it created the bow... Hayami thought, as
she wrinkled her nose is displeasure as she wasn't content with her
current knowledge of the Quincy Cross. If Hayami could figure out how to
recreate an item such as the Quincy Cross, it could be relevantly
satisfactory for herself and all that follow under her, as she could
create for them weapons that could literally generate themselves at any
given moment. That would be a grand day indeed, as well as a day to be
remembered - not to mention a day that would likely never come, as
Hayami knew, the Quincy - as a people, as one; Keep many of their
secrets hidden somehow beyond the eyes of even the most intelligent, and
to figure out such a complex item would require cunning and
intelligence beyond current standards.
Hayami hopped off from her
sword, and landed to the ground as silent as a mosquitoe lands on a
human's arm; as silent as a ninja falling from a tree. With a deceptive
smile towards the Quincy, she disappeared in a shunpo, leaving only a
slight "fft!" as she disappeared, leaving Zangetsu where it was in the
ground. She appeared several meters away, hidden by many trees and
bushes, and began to walk towards what felt like a hollow. As she walked
through the trees, and held out her hand and with one word, became
invisible, as well as completely masking her reiatsu. Kyokko.
Hayami said, speaking the 26th Bakudo. As she approached, she looked
through the thick branches and leaves and observed the hollow, which sat
there in a seemingly confused and nullified state. No doubt this is because the Quincy and myself are here. Our reiatsu is enough to paralyze such a weak hollow. Hayami thought to herself as she brought her invisible hand up to her invisible chin. When
one becomes a Hollow... they are first a Plus, which is the Spirit of
their human form. When they turn, they literally change... taking in the
reishi around them and bringing it to their body to aid with the
transformation... Hayami thought, knowing that if she thought hard
enough of this subject, she would eventually figure out how to recreate
an item such as a Quincy Cross.
Hayami, still invisible and
completely undetectable, bowed at the hollow, showing (well, not
really...) a token of thanks. She then jumped into the air, and made her
right hand completely flat, and turned it sideways as she brought it
down full force at the hollow's mask, slicing it in two vertically. Just from seeing you, hollow, I have realised the first step in recreating an item that would be extremely beneficial to myself.
Hayami thought smiling an invisible and undetectable smile while
turning around and walking back towards the Quincy. One foot after
another, then once more, and raise the right and left arm and move the
branches, and there you go. Hayami stepped out of the thicket of trees
and bushes and began her descent back to the Quincy, which was a long
walk considering she used a shunpo to go to her destination while
leaving. This short, yet long walk would certainly give her time to
think about her new possible experiment, though she chose not to think
about it, as now that she had a general idea, once she returned to the
Warehouse, she would have a seemingly unlimited amount of time to
research and experiment with her new theory.
And with a Shunpo,
she appeared right on top of her blade once more, still invisible and
still undetectable - though Kyokko only hides the target from sight and
detection - they are still able to be heard. So, when Hayami landed back
on her blade, the "fft" of the shunpo could be heard, as well as her
straw sandles contacting with the cold steel made a slight "tsst" noise
as she landed. With a smile on her face, her arms by her side, her hair
and robes flowing in the wind, she allowed the Kido to completely ware
off, slowly, and little by little exposing herself to the Quincy once
again. When she became completely visible, she gave the Quincy a
sheepish grin and a tiny laugh, Sorry to keep you waiting.
Hayami said, noticing that all of what she did should have at LEAST
been ten minutes at the LEAST. And while on top of her blade, she gave
the noble looking quincy a slight bow, only to look back up at her with a
grin. I suppose now would be a good time to try phase two of my newest theory. Hayami thought to herself. And now down to business...
Hayami
said, falling from her blade with lighting speed, grabbing the hilt of
it as if it were a misbehaved child, and tore it from the ground,
grabbing it with both hands. Her dominant right hand was placed higher
on the hilt than her left hand, and the blade was pointed - at an angle -
sort of towards the Quincy, sort of towards the sky. Hayami's right
foot was placed futher back than her left foot, and her back slightly
arched. She bore on her face a wicked smile, as if she was somehow
possessed, but didn't mind it one bit. You shall be my little helper today Quincy. And after you help, you die.
Hayami said, releasing her left hand from the blade, and using her
right hand at full power and full speed to pull forward a giant
horizontal slash at the Quincy's hand that held the Quincy Cross. Hayami
let loose a gigantic grin as she wasn't very far to seeing if her new
theory could or even would work in an experiment.
- two:
- Yokkyu
was very disappointed to see that his hado did minimal damage, but it
was as expected, as Yokkyu knew the extent of this man's power, though
he was unable to grasp it completely; he just knew this man was entirely
too deadly to let live, to let return to Soul Society. So, still under
protection from Kyokko, Yokkyu used a few Shunpo, lurking around the
battlefield, looking for anything that would be of use to him in any way
possible. Not wanting to waste any time, Yokkyu looked at the arrancar
that said Kurosaki would have to fight if he continued, and decided to
do Ichigo a favor while he was still hidden with Kyokko.
Yokkyu
rose his left hand and pointed it at the Arrancar, smirking under his
invisibility and undetetcibility, and smoke silently, Carriage of thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six, bakudo 61, rikujoukuro.
Yokkyu spoke, unleashing a full powered, Bakudo 61, Six Rods Prison of
Light. This was by far one of Yokkyu's more favorite kido, as this
attack was virtually undodgeable, as it literally moves entirely too
quick, and is relatively powerful, binding the most powerful foe for a
short amount of time, leaving the allies enough time to act, and
hopefully win. Alright, Kurosaki. Please, work with me here... I'm counting on your cooperation! You are now my subordinate!! Yokkyu angrily thought as he remembered exactly how Kurosaki usually acted: hardheaded.
He
looked at the rest of the battle, and let out an audible sigh, not
wanting to remain hidden any longer. The sigh gave away his position,
while he allowed the kido to discontinue, revealing his body, slowly and
little by little. As his body had been revealed, it was easy to see
Yokkyu had been building up a lot of reiatsu around him, because his
haori as well as his hair was flowing violently. After about four
seconds, his body was completely revealed, to show Yokkyu holding his
zanpakutou, as well as his complete black and red haori, and the look of
death in his eyes. Kurosaki, take care of the
pesky Arrancar. Trust me, Soul Society does not need you going what you
did when you fought Ulquiorra in HERE of all places. We will not be
happy. You leave this man to me, Kurosaki. Do NOT disobey me, because if
you do, I will not promise i won't open friendly fire. It is for the
best, now obey. he said, glaring at Kurosaki, meaning every word of what he said, as he had already had a specific battle plan.
Almost
instantly after speaking, Yokkyu rose his blade into the air, which
began forming pitch black storm clouds, and unbelieveably loud thunder,
and violent lightning could he heard and seen, which had the force to
shake the building around them. As the storm clouds loomed overhead,
Yokkyu's blade was struck with black lightning, which in turn turned
Yokkyu's blade black, which was now swirling with purple and black
reiatsu, slowly transforming. Bankai.. The
transformation of his blade was violent, though it was as expected,
seeing as not only was he angry, but he also had built up a ton of
reiatsu to aid him in his bankai transformation. As he went bankai, the
thunder rose to an eardrum busting roar, and the lightning struck all
around, striking buildings, the ground, and pretty much everything in
sight aside from the people that were on the battle field with him.
After
the bankai transformation, the pitch black clouds faded away, leaving
the battlefield almost completely black, only allowing a little bit of
light, making it to where everyone was just barely able to see, and the
wind and thunder made it to where they could barely hear, as it was
ferocious and undeniably loud. Knowing that speaking now was almost a
stupid idea, Yokkyu looked where he could just barely see the old
Captain Commander and smirked, Daunkōru!
Yokkyu shouted, even though nobody could of dreamed to hear him.- as he
yelled, a giant blast of purple (almost invisible due to the current
appearance of the battlefield) lightning came falling from the sky in a
ferocious demeaner, heading straight for the old Captain Commander at
literal full speed.
- three:
- Ahh god damnit!
Yukkyu shut his eyes tightly as he hopped on one foot in the center of Karakura Town's park. God! Where did these damn benches come from?!
he thought angrily in his head, holding his left foot with both of hid
hands as he hopped up and down. He was walking, looking up at the sky,
which was pitch black due to it being night time, and storm clouds
loomed over head, and all the street lights were out, so he hip his toe
RIGHT on the metal part of a park bench. Come ON! Since when did a stubbed toe hurt so bad!
Yukkyu thought, releasing his foot from his grasp, allowing it to
slowly reach the ground, putting little pressure on it so he wouldn't
end up causing himself more pain. With a deadpan on his face, he
straightened up his body and with an angry sigh walked away from the
bench, attempting to see if there was any activity in the town.
As
he limped through the park, he kept an ever vigilant eye on everything
he passed, everything he saw, though there was not one thing out of
order - not the cry of a hollow, not the wimpering cry of a Plus. How unusual. Though I can't really complain, it just makes my job easier...
Yokkyu thought to himself as he continued his walk throughout the town,
scanning everything he passed. Although he thought this was a blessing
on his behalf, in the back of his head he knew something wasn't exactly
right, though he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Since he couldn't
figure out what it was, he had no choice but to disregard the feeling
and continue his walk throughout the town which was proving to be quite
dull, and he was beginning to think of returning to Soul Society to meet
with the Captain Commander for the first time in awhile.
Alright, this isn't even right. This is outrageous in fact.
he thought, the deadpan expression returning to haunt his face as he
walked back to the park. He heard a horrible tearing noise, and felt the
pressure of a hollow, and he quickly turned to find where it was coming
from. High up in the sky was a giant rift that looked as if the sky had
torn-stitches, and a giant black figure slowly stepped out of it,
followed by three others. Oh! Menos-Class Gillian! This should be easy...
Yokkyu thought, as the three of them stepped completely out, as the
Garganta closed quickly. They each let out a synchronized cry, and began
to step in different directions, making loud thuds as they did. The
Menos in the middle was the first to stop Yokkyu, and instead of moving,
it charged a red cero and fired it at Yokkyu, while the other two Menos
walked in two different directions.
With a smile, Yokkyu used a shunpo and appeared in front of the speeding Cero and helf out his left hand. Bakudo 9, Seki
he said as a small blue orb appeared in the center of his palm, which
the Cero collided with. Using a low level spell like Seki versus a Cero
usually would be no match, but seeing how much more powerful Yokkyu was,
as well as his Kido Expertise, it proved to be in the favor of Yokkyu,
meaning the cero collided with the Seki and sat in its place for a few
seconds, only to be fired back at the mask of the central menos,
colliding with its mask, blowing the head of the menos off. Yokkyu
smiled as the menos dispersed into mere spirit particles, and jumped
into the air, running for the menos to the left. Alright, if i got this right, i should be able to kill both of these menos at the same time. he thought as he ran in the air, directly towards the menos to the left.
He
closed in on the menos, and used a shunpo to complete his surprise on
the menos that had not yet seen Yokkyu. With a smirk, Yokkyu quickly
unsheathed his Zanpakutou and shoved it in the mask of the Menos, making
a hole the size of his Zanpakutou, though he did nothing more but keep
the blade inside of the mask. Kyōfu de sutoraiku, Raitoningu!
Yokkyu spoke, initiating his shikai, as reiatsu began to swirl around
his blade. Since he initiated his shikai while his sword impaled the
mask of the menos, the reiatsu that swirled around his blade ended up
slicing the Menos's face into oblivion. The menos had been reduced to
nothing but blue spirit particles, and without a seconds thought, Yokkyu
held his blade tightly with his right hand and yelled, Uzumaki burēdo!
As
he yelled that phrase, his blade swirled with purple and black
electricity, which he then turned as fast as he could and pointed his
blade at the menos, releasing all the electricity that was swirling on
his blade at the menos, engulfing it by the mask, reducing it to
oblivion, much like the other menos he had previously killed. With a
smirk, he closed his eyes, reverting his Zanpakutou back to its sealed
state, while holding out his left hand. Since in shikai the sheath
disappears, as he reverted his shikai back to sealed state, his sheath
appeared in his left hand, and after the revert, he sheathed his sword,
placing the blade, in its sheath, on his left hip. And that is how ya do it. Yokkyu said in a cocky tone as he walked in the air, slowly approaching the ground beneath him.
When
he reached the ground, he quickly unsheathed his sword and stabbed the
air, creating a large wooden gate which slowly opened up, revealing a
bright white light that Yokkyu walked into. The light of the Senkaimon
always hurt his eyes, but after he walked past the light, he appeared in
the dark Dangai, and continued his walk to the other side of the path,
where Soul Society would be located. He sighed as he sheathed his blade,
and began to walk to the other end of the narrow, yet long path. I
wonder how i will be treated when i re-enter Soul Society... hopefully
Commander Tenkai will allow me back... though i have heard rumors of a
new Captain Commander, i'm still not exactly sure. he thought over and over as he approached the end of the path.
When
he reached the end, he was engulfed once more in a white light, only to
be re-entered into Soul Society, which at the time was at about
midnight. He walked through, trying to remember where exactly he was, as
it has been quite some time since he has been here, he walked a little
bit, attempting to catch the glimpse of something that would refresh his
memory. He looked to his left, and then to his right, allthewhile
keeping the same dead-pan, serious face he always had, when he finally
remembered where he was - He was by the Squad Barracks, but quickly felt
the pressure of a nearby Shinigami, and decided instead of continuing,
he would wait for the unknown shinigami to approach and greet him,
hopefully in a nice manner.
- four:
- Yokkyu waited
at the place for quite some time, noticing that he didn't let the
Senkaimon close, and he began to wonder where the Shinigami was, but
quickly realised to turn around and look at the wide-open Senkaimon. How careless of me! I could have let anybody in!
Yokkyu though to himself, sort of a self-scold type thing, and quickly
backed up away from the Senkaimon, awaiting the Shinigami to come out of
it. When he stepped out, Yokkyu noticed some odd features about the
man, though it wasn't bad, it was just odd-looking for a Shinigami. He
had long, unkept looking brown hair, with either green or an odd shade
of blue for his eyes. He had a thin layer of facial hair, from what
Yokkyu could tell, it grew from his ears to his chin on both sides.
Ignoring
his usually jerkish attitude, he decided it was best to show proper
respect, and placing both hands in the sleeve of his black and red
haori, crossing his arms within the confides of the sleeves, he bowed. Hello, Shinigami-san. My name is Yokkyu Fuman, former Captain of the Gotei 13. he spoke, fighting back his urge to be rude to the Shinigami, seeing as instead of closing his Senkaimon, he walked through. You
know the proper thing to do would have been to close my Senkaimon,
instead of walking through it. Definitely not good on my behalf.
he said squinting his eyes in a half-glare stare at the Shinigami,
though tried his best to hide the obvious attitude in his voice. Anywhom...
he said as he walked to the Senkaimon and held out his hand, pulling it
out from his sleeve. As his hand reached the opening, the Senkaimon
slowly closed shut, and Yokkyu walked back over and faced the Shinigami.
I
can tell that like me, you are not a part of the Gotei. Know that
following me here might not be in your best interest. Two rogue
shinigami of at least Captain rank coming to the Barracks together will
never look good. They'll want justice, and more than likely try and kill
us. I have came here on a simple mission, to join the Soul Society once
more, and if i knew any better, i would kill you for being a rogue, but
i am a rogue as well, so in doing so will proove i am a hypocrit, and i
have a false sense of justice. Yokkyu explained, warning the
Shinigami that their expedition to Soul Society will more than likely
result in the gathering of Gotei Captains, seeing as there were two
Captain-Class Rogues in the confides of Soul Society. Not
to mention they already know we're here. Don't forget, Squad 12
monitors the Dangai, which we both used to get to Seireitei. We
penetrated Soul Society's defenses, and right about now, the alarms will
begin to sound in the 12th Division Barracks. And in a few seconds, the
battle alarm will ring...
And as expected, four seconds
later, a loud beeping noise was heard, and there were numerous hell
butterflies flying about, going from Barrack to Barrack, each screaming
All Squads, proceed with Battle Plan A, this is NOT a drill! Two
Captain Class Rogue Shinigami have penetrated Soul Society's defense!
Man your battle stations immediately! they each said, flying every which way. With a sigh, Yokkyu looked at the fellow Shinigami and sighed, Now
that you're here, as a former Captain, i'm giving you advice. Keep your
Zanpakutou in your sheath at ALL TIMES or we WILL be killed. Only
attack if we are attacked FIRST and not a SECOND BEFORE! Yokkyu literally commanded, speaking as if the Shinigami was his Lieutenant, and he was the Captain. Of
course, you don't have to follow my advice, but if you end up getting
us attacked, do not mistake me, rogue or not, I will prove my worth and
kill you on the side of us-not. Yokkyu said, removing his folded
arms, exposing his hands, but not his arms, which were still hidden
under the black sleeve of his Haori.
If you're going to come with me, then do so. I will not wait.
Yokkyu said, as he began his slow-paced walk towards the First Division
Barracks, which the two fellow Shinigami were at the farthest point of
the Barracks section, they were by the 13th Squad's Barracks, and had 12
barracks to go before they would reach Squad 1. From barrack to barrack
would probably be at least a 15 minute walk, unless they decided to
Shunpo, which would not be a good idea, as one looking from far away
would think that they're trying to get somewhere to make a formulated
attack. Damnit. Why did this little Shinigami have to follow me?! Such bad LUCK! Yokkyu thought as he continued his walk, waiting for the Shinigami's decision to either follow or go his own way.
