New Dawn

Amane smiled while she looked at seki, listening to his answers to her questions, of his personality, and what was right and what was wrong. "Good answers, that's a question i always ask myself sometimes, so i wonder what i would do, if it were people close to me, or if it was complete strangers..." that was quite honestly true. Amane always asked herself what she would do in the situations the she asked seki about, and what it would do to her mentally. She seemed to be rather fond of his logical stand point, though she would try to make him lighten up more, and probably not look at too many things with logic, if he wished to be in romance with a woman, she could definitely imagine that being a huge turn-off. She then replied to him on the situation of him having a Emo stereotype, she had certainly heard that a few times, probably due to Zin who was known to tease quite a few people around the vizard corps. "Ya see, i don't try to get caught within any stereotype, i just like to live life, and be me, yanno?" she took a look over to scope the area, and made sure she prepared herself for the meals. She did smile, at his attempt to compliment her back. "Well thank you, i do try my best, or so i think i do..." she would say with a fully relaxed tone, she was definitely getting used to hanging around him so far.

After 30 minutes had passed, with some conversation, the waiter came over with the meals of the respective male and female. The meals were cooked to perfection and the drinks were ice cold, Amane smiled and clapped her hands as they lit up at the sight of the food. "Sugoi! they never do cease to amaze me..." After this gesture, she wasted no time in eating a piece of her burger, along with a few French fries. She couldn't help but look at him and hopefully wish that he would enjoy his meal as well, it certainly looked good, at least to her eyes.

Seki smiled as he thought he hit the answer which Amane wanted to hear. He really just wanted her to enjoy her time with him, as he had found a friend he thought. Despite his logic standview, this is one thing he couldn't apply logic too, because friends and love is something that you can't really apply logic to. He smiled and thanked the waiter politefully as his meal arrived. He looked at this meal closely, and had a big smile on his face suddenly. "I can tell this is cooked properly.. this looks nice! His voice peaked to a more happy sounding tone this time, rather than his cold tone. This showed Seki wasn't always cold-sounding, it might be a accent or something. He smiled again as he saw his Pepsi brought in a glass. "This drink. Is the best drink in the world. I seriously love it.. He didn't sound as cold and logical, showing he wasn't like this to everything. He then drank a bit of it before he realised something and put it down.

"Amane-san, what about the money and such? I could pay.. I do have the money at hand. Or will you pay, Amane-san? I should be considerate about the fact i'm being treated out like this because this doesn't come around often for me, so I am already thankful. But it is your choice, Amane-san. I wouldn't mind paying though. Seki sorta dropped his logical attutide towards, rather opting to focus on being polite to her, because thats what mattered in a social suitation, Seki thought. He was right for the most part. He looked at Amane and awaited her answer.

Amane smiled and simply enjoyed the fact, that the logical Seki, that she was beginning to know, was opening up more. It even made her happier, as she enjoyed his reaction to the food that arrived for him. She could tell that he had some love of Pepsi, and blinked. "Hm....i've never tried it before..." she looked at the brown sparkling liquid, within the cup, looking over every detail of the soda, the bubbles, and everything else. She then looked at him and forwardly asked. "Um...Well...can i try some?" she was embarrassed to ask the question, simply because she had her own drink, but she couldn't help it when her curiosity sparked up at times like these. She would await his answer, of allowing her to sample the drink, which caught her interest, and then caught one of his questions. She looked backed at him and blinked.

"Silly, i'm treating you, i'll pay..." she said with a kind smile, as she patted his head. It was a welcoming gift of sorts, if he liked the offer and would like to join, she could imagine coming with him here often and enjoying more dinners like these, this time of course, she didn't mind paying as she was well off, when it came to matters of money.

Seki didn't looked too shocked when he learnt about Amane not knowing what it was. It was over 400 years old or so, so it was just his little addiction that was kind of obscure. So he figured he'd let Amane try it. "Alright Amane-san. Just don't drink most of it or... Ill end up buying more with my own money. And I don't want all my money gone in one blast.. He smiled again and passed the glass over to her, allowing her to try some of it. He was more happy to hear about the fact he didn't have to pay for this, which he thought was quite generous of her. He smiled again, showing more of a emotional side. He hoped she would enjoy the drink.

While she was going to drink his Pepsi a bit, Seki began to eat his food. He eat like anyone else, using his knife and fork to eat his food, and after eating some of the chips and a bit of the steak, he put his knife and fork down to announce something. "Amane-san. The food here is top-quality. I feel this is a very big treat alright. Thank you for it, Amane-san. He smiled again and carried on eating, until she drank a bit of the Pepsi.

Amane gracefully smiled, as her eyes lit up, when she was offered to enjoy the pepsi drink. She had never tried it, most likely due to never having interaction with earth world, until now just about it. She didn't have much knowledge on popular beverage drinks, or hot spots found in america. So she was happy that he was gentle and nice enough to offer her some. She was definitely enjoying his company, and was not regretting letting him come with her to eat lunch. Grabbing the Soda, she began to put her mouth over the cup, and begin to let the refreshing liquid soothe her body, she was tasting only a sip, but the taste was enough to make it turn into gulps, and after so many gulps, she had noticed that the delicious flavor was gone, and now what she was possibly drinking or having fall into her mouth, was ice. "....Um...." She blushed with an embarassed expression as she stared back at him. She had did something that was very un-lady like, and not only that she had did what he had asked her not too. She slapped her head as if to curse herself for her stupidity. "I-I'm sorry Se-Seki! it was just....how do i put it..i've never had a beverage that tasted so refreshing and sweet before" She said as she scratched her head, letting out a somewhat uneasy chuckle at her little predicament.

Seki looked startled how she drank it that fast. He also felt annoyed that she went and did what he didn't want him to do. He wasn't angry however, as he knew what made Pepsi addicting to begin with. He felt he would explain about it, and also do something that would make both of them happy. "Amane-san..... I wasn't expecting all of it to go.. I should of known. No matter though.. I did say I had money. Don't feel bad, i'm not the kind to get angry and grudgey over trivial things like a soda. He stood up and walked over to the bar that this restaurant had. After a few minutes of waiting, Seki came back holding two Pepsi glasses, and he smiled and sat back down.

"Amane-san, I payed for both of these. I suppose since you enjoyed it, you would enjoy another glass. I'd reccomend you drink no more though. Soda does have Caffeine in it, which is a drug that will just make you want more and more.. and a overdose has potential side effects, a major one being death. Don't be scared though, enjoy it for what it is. He smiled and began to drink from his own. And then he resumed eating his food, leaving Amane to do whatever with it.

She took a deep sigh of relief, she was definitely sorry for drinking his beverage down like that, but she couldn't help it, it was delicious!; she would have to pay him back somehow, or some way, before this day was over. She then blinked, as she was surprised at him not being all that upset, about drinking his Pepsi. On the contrary, he was actually quite kind about things, as he only made a simple sigh or two, then went over and bought them two separate drinks.

She smiled, and patted his shoulder, while using that time to plant a small little peck over his head, he could think of it as a sorry for her drinking his cola, as well as a small interesting that she was taking in him. She was definitely impressed with how wel lhe reacted today, keeping a calm and cooled demeanor with her, but now she wondered, how well would he react to that peck? She would giggle a bit, while she moved back to her food, and her Pepsi, which was now beside her tea, that she hadn't quite touched yet. She had to admit, now that she tried the burgers and fries with that new drink, it went down much better then before, and added a nice taste to her mouth as well. She had to admit, she was impressed with how well things had progressed today.

When Seki felt Amanes lips pecking him, his eyes shot open like he had remembered something he had forgot that was urgent. His face also shot blood red. It was a very, very clear shock for him, as Amane could see. He didn't say anything back, but he remained red. He carried on eating like normal, taking gulps of his drink like normal, before he finally finished the dinner he was eating. He laid back and stared up at the celing. He felt full, like anyone else would from a meal like that. "I don't think eating any more food would be wise for myself.. I feel full from that..

Seki still was red from before though, although really he thought that peck of hers was like a taste of heaven. He was wondering how much Amane liked him. He thought now would be the time to talk about himself, so she could understand him more. "Amane-san, I wish to tell you what I live for. I live for the Universe. I want to discover its secrets. Its vast, and I want to know more about it. It has always interested me. What do you live to do in your life, Amane-san? He was curious to see her answer, so he waited patiently.

"What do i live for?" It was said, as if she was asking him a question to his own question. However, She was actually pondering on an answer, it was a interesting question. From birth up till now, just what had Amane wanted to live for in life?; She was always fond of both the soul society and earth, and had always aimed to strive and protect, for a noble cause. She wasn't much of a super hero, at least not by her own standards. Casually she sighed, happily and then grabbed her Pepsi, while sipping it down slowly this time, wanting to enjoy the full flavor and taste, without gulping it down, like some untrained animal. She was a normal girl, when you got to know her very well, however she had some classy habits due to being adopted by a noble clan. It surely wasn't anything high and mighty, like some of the nobles presented themselves, but nonetheless she still kept a demureness and adamant respect, that she would not let anyone soil. Moreover, just what or how would she be able to answer his question?; had she even given it any thought? - She certainly believed that Seki's cause, was definitely a interesting endeavor, he seemed like he wanted to seek more knowledge, while being a slight bit adventurous on the way. However, had she ever given any thought to what she wanted to do with this large world, in front of her? Her mind was definitely left in a dim state, after this question. If she could come to a conclusion, then what she really wanted to do was to have fun in the world.

"Well, I live for the excitement of every day, pushing forward each time, and making sure that i do my best at everything that i take part in, I want to have adventurous times, amazing journeys and just about anything else you can think of, that's what i live for..Mmn, i guess you could call it the thrill of the day, or however that saying goes..." she tapped her chin a bit, as her index finger went over to her lip, while she began to try and come up with the term. "Oh yeah! i've got it now, live for today, because there might not be another tomorrow" She said, as she quickly reversed her gestures, snapping her fingers, after successfully coming to the conclusion that she wished for. "I do also want to be a bit like my mother, who adopted me, and then some day i would like to settle down, have children, and give to them, what she gave to me...." she said, as she looked up at the ceiling, whilst sipping on her beverage. "I really want to live and then die, without any regrets. that's all there is to it" she said, removing her lips from the straw, and speaking back to him. After she finished her meal, she pulled out her money and put extra yen over the amount that she was paying for, for their meals. It was a tip, as most would call it in american terms.

Seki listened to her answer about what she lived for. He saw it as a normal persons desire to live, he thought. "Mmm, that is a good thing to live for Amane-san. Its what a lot of people like to live for, and theres nothing wrong with it. I just wish some people didn't spend their lives living for ill-moral things.. but theres nothing you can do about that I suppose. Seki leaned back on his chair, leaving it balancing on two hinges. He did this a lot when he sat on a chair.. "Today has been good for me. I made a friend who is good at heart, I can see. I don't have many friends.. its something i've been used to in my life.. even as a Shinigami and a resident in Rugonkai I felt rather.. lonely.

He then looked up at Amane and smiled gleefully. He didn't seem so cold now that he actally got to know her. He seemed normal, from a emotion stand view. "Amane-san, i'm glad today happened. I won't feel as lonely any more if your around. Dusk was soon approaching for today. The sunny Karakura Central would soon be covered by the orange haze of the sun as it went down.
