Hanako Shikijou's Story
"The Pool Room"

"Wow~"
Hanako uttered that single word when she noticed three pools in one room so far off the ground. Usually, these things are usually built into the ground and never was considered cheap to be done this far up without any special applications and expenses into making sure the pool will not collapse through the ceiling of the rooms below...and that was just for one pool alone! Zane must have paid a lot for such a custom structure such as this house alone. "You might want to get the right things to wear to use this room though." Zane spoke. Before this, Zane mentioned that his...BH1's cannot enter this room because they cannot perform in water at all. So Hanako will have to have someone with her before entering this room again. Luckily, both her and her father are great swimmers when her mother usually flies than sail on a ship due to her sea-sickness. Zane must have another thing to show her before she could get some clothes. So a swimsuit is in the mental list of clothes to acquire to be comfortable.
"What else you have here? A hidden lust room?"
It was clearly a joke since Hanako was treated like a girl being introduced to a guy's home before becoming the guy's gal. A guy who gets the joke often are the kinds who are safe while those who do not get the joke are probably a little insecure themselves. It is basically how Hanako usually can tell if she is safe or not by cracking a joke and listened to their response. Since she is in a miniskirt and tank-top with denim jacket, she also run the risk of becoming a potential target of lust. She walked to the basic square pool and knelt down instead of bending down. If she knelt with her back facing Zane, her underwear will not be revealed and give Zane the wrong impression about her joke. Her right hand touched the water and it felt cool. Definitely real water that she can swim in. Kokuryuteishi was definitely just like Earth, but the society could be different. She stood back up and turned to Zane. She walked to him and held her hand up to him as if she was expecting him to take her hand like a gentleman would.
Hanako is ready to be escorted to another room that Zane wished her to see.

Zane watched as Hanako moved over to the biggiest of the three pools. It seems that she was testing the water for something. He guessed that somethings would be different in dimension but actully it's not really any physical difference except locations and how the land is form with different climates. But during this time she said that he had a lot of rooms. She also asked jokingly if he had a secret lust room in this mansion. The obvious answer would be no but with a person like Zane he tried to make it a joke as well. But it is fun to not give a yes or no question to this. It leaves the asker pondering inside of them. He obviously knew what lust meant and knew it had a very young age through his studies so he fully understood what she was asking even though he was only 15.

"I don't know it's a secret isn't it,might not even be mine." he answered and wondered what her reaction would be.

"Also in the next room you'll meet my BH1s so expect another big one thats all I'll tell for now." he added.

As she walked over to him and showed her hand and expected to be escorted. He took her hand and led her down back to the main room that connected all for of them. But before he reached for the last door, he turned around and faced her. He wanted to know if she would think how old he is since he is so mature yet Yako who is far older acts so childish.

"Before we continue I want to test something about you. Since you have no Idea about mine or Yako's age i would like for you to guess them and to give you some assistance in the matter, I will tell you right away that we are both human." he explained to her.

He wondered if she would try to do this by appearance,personality, and anything else that is a resorce even through it's unlikely she'll guess Yako's age he would like to asked how she came to that conclusion. The question he had just asked was a test and a mind game that shouldn't be able to be won with the info given.

"The Mind Game"

"I don't know it's a secret, isn't it; might not be mine." ~ Zane
Apparently, he did not take the joke well as Hanako thought. Zane acted like he was still a virgin and that was a dead giveaway for when he was going to play his little mind game with Hanako. Mind games do annoy Hanako, so internally, she wanted to shove him against the wall and shout his soul out, but externally, she remained civilized. "A test, eh?" Hanako inquired as she began looking at Zane, size, outfit and personality; all are taken into account in her educated guess. Of course she is not the smartest of the alliance, but she can handle traps like no other due to her experience as a bounty hunter. Zane was matured while Yako was a tad childish. Since Yako came to her back at the slums, he has a hint of pride when it comes to games. Zane was polite, proper and rather indifferent. For Zane, he must be in the teenage group due to his sense of strict self-expectancy while he is more matured because of that self-expectancy. Of course, there are teenagers who are cocky or even idiotic, but they are the minority of this time. As for Yako, he must be older than Zane due to size, unwavering calmness and a free-spirited outlook. Usually, older adults who managed to get their head together and have a successful career, they emanate that successfulness with a seemingly childish expression. Her father was one of these adults who would rather play with their children rather than worrying about a chance of a slip-up. However, like any other adult, Yako can get prideful and may do something stupid when something has gone wrong.

Hanako looked directly into Zane's eyes, trying to personally learn about him without saying anything. Since she is a people person, she can see through liars and tell the difference between the pokerface and an honest person. Zane does put up a pokerface, so this is a mind game. To a trained eye, any person's eyes will give away a lot more than just color; they can reflect memories.
"From the personality that Yako has demonstrated, he is no child and was definitely a lot more experienced than most adults. So my guess on him will be on his late-eighties. For you, you posed high order while the joke I previously made recently did not get a laugh out of you, it suggested that you are too young for sex. My guess will be that you are fifteen because most kids your age will be at your level of maturity due to high expectations."
If she was correct, then Zane would realize that she is more perceptive than he would give credit for, but that does not mean that Hanako will be receiving any pocky stick as a prize. He may see it as a threat to the operation and have to either kill her or to keep her locked up in the guest room. Nothing was ever certain for her now she gave away her intellect instead of playing the know-nothing that she is supposed to.
This is a reason why she loathed mind games...

Zane was impressed that Hanako could pinpoint both of there ages very well. But learning this wasn't to much of a advantage for her to worry about. There were still many secrets in house that she hasdn't even close to uncovering. At least 3 were very important secrets for Zane and the most important was that his last name was Fenier. As she finshed her answer he began to clap slowly. Then he began to speak in his normal voice nothing was different about to show that she had been put in a bad posistion because of he answer.

"Good job, Now I see why you did well as a bounty hunter for the Iramasha. You learn about a person very quickly and try to find weaknesses to use to your advantage. But now that the test is over we might as well move on."

Zane moved over to the last of the doors and opened it wide for her to see from where she was standing. In side the room was a gym like a dojo but there was a section in which it was things like weight lifting set and other various workout machines. but last things in the room was a mat for martial arts and other sports and stanting on it were his five BH1s. They weren't best looking things to pass as freindly but they only did as Zane commanded. Even through they were as smart as a wild animal but with his tactics they are deadlier than imagine with there power.

"You'll be able to use this room daily and whatevers in it but you should also get clothes approite for it as well. I don't think you ever will but if you do spar with one of the BH1s then please expect that they will not hesitate to got for inguries and way to subdue without killing. It's how I set them up for sparing." he explain.

He would wait for her to enter the room and then zane would follow her in.

"Training Room"

"Thank you for the compliment. It was not very easy to read a person unless you have the experience reading the more complex patterns of emotions, expressions and tones all at once."
Hanako knew what she told him was basically a vague (and incorrect) amount of information that cannot guarantee to work on that alone. The real technique was to mention something and examine the reaction. So all for the scheme, Hanako was just guessing while eliminating possibilities on a whim. It is a real talent to be that precise on an educated guess. Tina Tal'Vohla taught her the technique of reading people and even gave her homeworks along with a five-page essay on the elements involved in reading a person and guessing. Mind Reading 101 is the name that Hanako joked about when learning this technique.

When Zane opened the door to the dojo, he spoke, "You'll be able to use this room daily and whatevers in it, but you should also get clothes appropriate for it as well. I don't think you ever will, but if you do spar with one of the BH1s, then please expect that they will not hesitate to go for injuries and ways to subdue without killing. It's how I set them up for sparring." What is wrong with sparring those who will not hesitate to attack her until she is out cold? She was trained to fight because of marked criminals who have so many ways to kill her on the spot if she is not careful. However, she is dealing with things rather than humans, so they are as good as their creator...unless there is a malfunction; usually a malfunction could end with her dead as a possibility. So Hanako will have to be ready to break them if it comes to that. Technology would be average to her, she is no hacker, so if that is the case, she will have to break them instead of trying to rewiring them or overriding their algorithms.

Hanako walked into the room to inspect, seeing the weight-lifting machines and the other objects of the dojo. As a martial artist of the agile and rapid branch, Hanako needed to know her surroundings so she can come up with a strategy to take down her foes without having to be at the brunt of the attacks from her foes. The sparring idea was interesting since she is not fighting a human, but dogs instead. To her, dogs are well-balanced in speed, strength and ferocity, plus they cooperate well with each other, so it is likely that she would get swarmed by the BH1s if she just tried to escape blatantly. She needed a strategy on how to get out. One option was to deceive Zane into recruiting her and she could build the trust, so when an opportunity comes, she can gather information until her rescue come or escape when she has a chance if she went to Earth.

However, there is a chance that she would be denied of it and be isolated until her rescue comes for her. If that is the case, she achieved nothing other than learning little about Yako and Zane. They are nice, but Hanako was only cooperating because her life is on the line when she is behind enemy line...well in a world where her enemies are ruling and if she was caught, she would be executed on the mark. Well...That was unsettling...
"What's your difficulty level, Zane? Five outta ten? Seven outta ten?"
Hanako asked this so she could learn of his strength at least so if she has little information, she could at least tell Koichi how much of a fight Zane would be. If Zane caught on to what she is talking about, the sparring difficulties are rated between zero to ten; one is novice, ten is master while five is adept. In truth, Hanako was more of an eight since she could handle enemies who are fast and strong, just not three at once. At least she could fight pretty well for her physique...considering that Koichi still did most of the muscle work, she can also hold her own. Koichi only came with her on bounty hunting because she needed his speed and a second person to watch her back because most of the time these days, humans with powers that they used for bad things now came in pairs or gangs due to the bounty hunting business blooming.

Looking back, she realized that she learned more than just what Zane is, it could be who Zane is. She connected the dots while looking at the BH1s, looking like she was checking for quality when she is actually putting pieces together. As much as she could read people, she can mislead others away from her intended ideas by displaying any emotion except for the obvious like the opposite. Only an idiot would smirk at random. One of the dots in it was his last name. Fenier... That is the password leading to the door separating the first floor and the second floor, but what if it is something more than just that? Hanako would have to ask, but at a tone that Zane would not raise a red flag about. Hanako picked the tone that sounded like it could be anyone's while sounded casually random so Zane would suspect that she is just testing his awareness about the outside world.
"Zane? Is it true that some passwords are indirectly related to the original holder's personal life?"

Zane watched as she looked at the BH1's and the various things in the dojo. Then he heard her ask how good he was at sparing and that was a tricky question because is she asking on the normal scale or the scale in which he use abilities that boost his skill. It was difficult to choose but it was simple to see since she was talking about martial arts that it was normal scale. Which in this case he'd be 8 or 9. He wondered if she wouldn't spar with the BH1s but him since she was asking. It would be logical after what he said about them not stopping until subdued.

"I'd put myself at a 8 or 9 with out abilities but me and about every other commander would break the scale with them." he answered.

Then Zane heard her final question and that was not a opinion answer she wanted to have a fact answer. Which in his case it was opinion but he could word this to where it's not true/false or yes/no. It seemed that she was asking if a password was connected to the owners personal life. But then again some people use something that has nothing to do with them.

"Depends I would say because a lot of people do use personal stuff but people can know about it to use it but some times people use something that no where near any relation to them and then there are things in between that is connected to everyone's person life and is so obvious that no one would guess it." he explained.

"Fenier..."

"Ah. So that means Fenier is something related to you or your family. Since you're human, it has to be close, but painful enough that no one would suspect it...maybe a sibling?"
Hanako said it with little fear of what Zane would do. She knows that he cannot simply kill her and expect her friends would not suspect it. Her circle of friends is powerful, even though she is a weak human being. Hanako finally pieced together that Zane is capable of killing her if she does not come up with the right tactic. Being too careful will make her too jumpy and more likely to fall into a checkmate while being too reckless will just be a death wish for someone of her constitution. Despite Zane's and Yako's kindness to her, she has to not fall for their generosity and focus on the fact that she is behind enemy line and can die at any time if she made the wrong choice. She projected a sad expression as if looking back into her life. "I wished I have a sibling. I am an only child back on Earth because my father said that having just me is enough for him. So I filled in that gap by having friends." Hanako commented like she did not suspect a thing from Zane's answer.
"I am getting weary from all the surprises, so I'll go get some rest. Zane, you and Yako can go ahead and try to pick out clothes for me; my height is five feet, two inches while my frame is light and my shoe size is a five. I don't care what you picked as along it fits your fancy."
Hanako walked out of the training room and into the guest room which is now her bedroom and her comfy cell. Given the measurements to Zane does show him that she trusts him and would cooperate, even though secretly, her intention was to learn more about Yako and Zane through their choices of outfits for her. By the tone, any human would have felt a bit of sorrow from that and it would be likely to her that she would inspired Zane to try and pick out the outfits that (in his belief) would make her a bit more happy and therefore, even more cooperative and making it easier for him to recruit her. Hanako may not like to play games with boys, but she has to play the game of Risk to find a way out. She shut the door of her room, making it all private for her. This can help her think up a plan to escape while restoring her energy by resting. Hanako sat on the side of the bed and kicked her boots off before laying on the bed.
She soon drifts off to sleep for the day.
