It was dark out at 9pm as training finished about 5 hours ago. Thing's went relatively well and now the two that were training were taking a break for the rest of the evening and Ayane thought it would be nice to go to a fancy restaurant She made sure she wore the best clothes she could find for the night because she wanted to make sure she could look presentable rather than wear her school girl outfit or her shinigami garbs. So she decided on a blue dress:

Now in the living world, Ayane stood in the middle of a dark street in front of a building with a large sign on the front denoting that it was a restaurant. Ayane stepped towards it and finally through teh doors to find the place looked absolutely amazing. everything was red in colour with tables separated out everywhere like one of those fancy places you would see in movies back in the 1960's.

"Wow...." Ayane stood in the doorway before a man ina tuxedo walked up to her. "May I help you mam?" Ayane looked at him and smiled. "Yes can i have a table for two?" the man approved and turned. Ayane followed him down an aisle of tables with candles on them with a rose in a small glass before he stopped near the table at close to the corner of the room. "Is here alright for tonight?" he asked her. She nodded and thanked the man before looking around. He must have arrived by now...

Poliro was with Ayane, but he was kind of clumsy so he got lost again. He was wearing clothes that teenagers from the 2000's wore. He knew wearing shinigami robes in 2411 in the human world wouldn't really make much sense. He was wearing a black jacket with blue jeans, with a shirt on under his jacket. The jacket wasn't zipped up either. He figured this is what teenagers look like in 2411. He was obviously not with the times, now was he? He managed to find the restaurant in the dark streets of Karakura Downtown. He walked into the restaurant, to be greeted by the waiter in the tuxedo. "I'm with um, the girl there. He wasn't so good about how to refer to Ayane in a polite way. [/i] [b] He was guided to Ayane by waiter in the tuxedo before sitting down on the table with her, smiling. He then gave his thanks to the waiter.

Poliro looked at Ayane in awe sort of, he thought that she looked pretty in her dress. "You look really pretty Ayane.. He smiled at her as he said this, knowing she'd be happy about it. "This place looks really fancy. Have you even like, got the money to afford eating here? I know I haven't. I can tell this place looks like its really old fashioned.. but thats not a bad thing. So what do you like to eat in places like this? As he asked his question he felt ached from the training he had before. He did overpush himself a bit. He sat back on his chair and tried to relax, looking at Ayane with a smile still.

Ayane was pleased to see Poliro had arrived. however she was also slightly annoyed when he turned up after she did. As he got near, she bonked him on the head with the back of her hand. "Hey, the man is supposed to be early not late." Ayane giggled afterwards though and sat down opposite Poliro. however when she heard Poliro compliment her appearance, she went bright red in the face again. However this time she made sure not to splurt out any random noises like before at the market.

instead she just looked away momentarily. "Th...thanks." Ayane was a really easy person to read. She was easily flattered and was quite dumb to heart but had those little sparks about her that must have been what made Poliro like her. Then the topic of money came across. "Don't worry about money. Captains are paid quite nicely so I'll get this one. But next time your treating me out, not the other way around." Ayane smiled and looked at poliro deeply. She surely liked him...

Poliro looked a bit sad over the fact he got backhanded by Ayane, he wasn't really a believer in things like the guy coming first and little odd things like that, he never really saw the point in it. "Sorry Ayane, i'll make sure to get here first before you do if we ever come here again. He gave her a reassuring smile. He noticed that she went red again but was in relief over the fact she wasn't muttering random words. He kept his warm hearted smile with her. Poliro was happy he had got this far with a friend. He felt truly happy inside himself, he felt like a good person, a change from his normal depressed moods that he used to have. Then the topic shifted to the matter of money.

"Captains get paid? I didn't even know I got paid? Or is it just captains, if so.. thats not fair, don't I get anything for being 4th seat atleast!? Thats a bit.. mean. I do a good job as a Shinigami I think. He had quite a fair bit of pride as a Shinigami, so he wasn't going to easily not stop arguing about this. "Next time i'll pay, alright? I'll treat you some time, I promise. He smiled back and looked at her deeply. They both ended up staring at each other without it being interupted. He sort of fell into a trance, and said in a soft whispering voice. "You look... sweet.. He carried on to look at her deeply, as she was doing too.

Ayane giggled when Poliro seemed to flip out when he found out she was richer than him. "Of course we get paid. This isn't charity work you know." just then, the waiter from before walked up to the table with a bottle of wine. It was red wine but Ayane didn't care for what colour it was as long as it was nice. he palced it on the table and poured out a glass for both of them before leaving the bottle on the table and walking off.

"oh how nice..." But as soon as she started to pick up her drink, Poliro complimented her again causing her face to get red once more. She took a sip to get rid of her nervousness and looked at poliro. "You seriously like flattering me don't you...?" Ayane was certainly pleased she was being complimented but this guy did it all the time. As she smiled at him, she thought to herself 'This guy must be serious about me...'

Poliro looked at this red wine, he hoped it was good and tasted nice. But he then heard Ayanes comment about flattering. He suddenly felt very nervous and couldn't speak. In irony, he was now muttering like what Ayane did in Rukongai.. he was as red as blood, his face was anyway. While he was like this, he tried to get some words out to try and explain himself, but his stuttering would make it hard to say properly. "Er-Er.. It-Its... the t-truth.. thats.. a-all! He sounded like a broken machine trying to speak because of how nervous he was..

He tried to smile. He managed to do so, but it was a very shaky smile. He was suddenly very nervous in saying anything at all to her. To try and relieve himself of this nervous feeling. He picked up his wine glass and began to drink a bit of it. He tried to relax while he was here.. He was shaking slightly too.. he put the glass back down to try and sit back and enjoy what was going on... he felt his heart beating faster and faster in the tension..

Ayane sat there holding her wine and looking at Poliro with one eye open and one eye close. Reason for this, was she was looking to the left with her left eye shut and right eye staring across the table while she drank her drink. Thenm Poliro seemed as though he was struggling to say even the most simple of words to ayane. This actually made her feel rather happy as it wasn't her this time that was melting.

"Don't worry Poliro, you don't have to be shy." Ayane grinned widely and laughed a little, almost choking on a bit of wine. But then she looked back to see the waiter had magically appeared out of nowhere with a menu list. "Woah!..." Ayane was caught off guard and almost fell off her chair. "Don't sneak up on us!" The waiter apologies and placed two menu's on the table for them. "Ayane let out a breif sigh before looking back up at Poliro. "That was... embarrassing..."

Poliro simply didn't try to speak at all now, rather than get embrassed by him trying to speak. He did indeed feel like he was melting, but why? She was only a friend, right? Poliro then slowly came to see the truth.. he wouldn't act this way in front of her if she was only her friend, meaning one thing. Poliro loved her. Poliro looked even more nervous and shaken upon realizing this. Could he really tell Ayane this? Could he really? He wondered if he was brave enough to do this.. but then realised why he did love her. She was his friend, and her first proper friend. He felt more than just liking her though. It really was love, but he felt like he didn't have the courage to admit it. But then he remembered something. He had the courage to fight for Gotei 13, the courage to try and be sociable. Was this really such a huge deal to him compared to what he has to do normally? He decided to try and be brave about what he was about to.

He felt more confident about it suddenly, and didn't stutter anymore. Poliro wasn't going to be shy anymore, he was going to be brave like he was going to be in any suitation, he'd make him look better if he wasn't stuttering during a emotional speech after all. "Ayane, I won't be shy anymore. Let me explain something to you, please. Ever since I met you, and the days following that, I felt this growing sensation in my body as time went on with you. I barely felt it at first, and now I can fully feel it.. It was the feeling of love. I felt it because you were my first true friend.. and you made me feel truely happy for the first time in years. Thats why I feel the way I do. I just couldn't understand what it was at first, but I now why now. Because you actally, have done something for me that no one else up til now has done for me. And as he spoke the last few words, a big smile cropped on his face that looked natural. "You gave me someone to care about. And thats why Ayane... I love you." Poliro stopped there, waiting for Ayane to probably pass out on the spot or something, but he felt brave for managing to let this out. Now all that was on his mind was Ayanes reaction.

Ayane put down the Menu and lifted her glass again. It was a little funny how just a few days ago she was the one acting all nervous. However it did raise questions as to why he was suddenly acting up like this. Was something wrong? After taking a sip of her wine, Ayane noticed exactly what Poliro had changed the topic to. She sat there and listened, frozen to the spot. Then as soon as he finished his little speech, Ayane heard the words to stop her heart from beating momentarily. 'I Love You'

Her heart stopped for a moment as she slowly lifted her glass to her mouth. However as soon as she tried to start drinking again, she couldn't move any further. Then she started to talk or at least tried to. "L...l....l...l...lo...love....m...me...??" Ayane stuttered like mad this time. She couldn't help it. Then her hand let go of the glass but rather than gently putting it down, the glass dropped onto the table spilling the wine everywhere before rolling off and onto the floor causing it to smash. Ayane, completely out of her mind in both fear and her nerves getting the better of her, stood up and knocked the chair backwards.

"I... I need to go..." Ayane then turned and bolted it out of the restaurant. However, as she ran she walked into many people, tables and even the doors to get out. All the while she had tears streaming from her eyes with little reference to if they were tears of joy or not...

Poliro, at first looked pretty damn depressed again. He thought if he did anything wrong, or if he creeped her out.. he was more concerned about that rather than the state of the table. But then he realised Ayanes nature, she was just in shock, he thought. So rather than being depressed about it, he would go out and chase her, rather than sulk about what had just happened. But first, he cleaned up the table to the best of his ablities, and then headed for the door. He walked out, hoping she was okay. He looked around the dark streets of Downtown Karakura, looking for her.

Poliro thought about what had just happened, how would Ayane take this if she finally calmed down? Did she really think he was a creep? All these questions were going to be answered soon. He looked around the street he was in, hoping for a sign of Ayane being there, because he was slightly paranoid about what would happen to her in the night, but he knew she was strong anyway. He kept his eyes peeled for her, then called out. "Ayane! Ayane!"
