Personality:

Yasuo Makoto at first glance portrays a laid-back individual. The impression left upon the locale of Yasuo is that of an eerie yet calm and friendly ambiance. His natural facial expression reveals nothing to anyone; just as blank as a board. Beneath this facade is caring and loving man. Though he appears to be one without a care for a thing in the world, this misleading appearance hides a caring, loving personality and a cunning man. Yasuo is a mastermind and has the capability of manipulating others and also manoeuvring his way through tight situations. He is strict when the situation calls for it and tends to discipline his subordinates for being rude or dim-witted. He respects everyone no matter their rank. He shows kindness mostly to those who also reflect the caring emotion. When it comes to food, Yasuo isn't picky and eats what is provided to him when he's hungry; albeit he prefers ramen, soup, chicken and sake. In battle, Yasuo tends to use any means possible to bring down his opponent in a short amount of time; as he believes a long-lasting battle is useless and not worth his time. He tends to use his inventions on his opponent and skilled in all aspects of combat, not favouring a particular style.

History/Background:

The deep prolonged, loud noises caused by the fixed-wing aircrafts soaring overhead was seemingly without end. The sound of violent impacts caused by the breech-loaded projectile-firing weapons was of no help. The explosive devices deeply rooted into the ground exploded, the violent release of energy bursting outward with violence and noise. The ground shook and vibrated, resulting from the extreme disruptive disturbance underground. The dwellings of the villager’s collapsed rapidly, the reason being that of the condition of the homes - which were insufficiently developed. The sky became plagued – soon enough - with the unpleasant smell of the combusting materials below. Voices called out amongst other voices, footsteps proceeding hurriedly across the smouldering streets of the village. Children could be seen shedding tears at the lost of their loved ones; profanities could be heard coming from the adults. Bodily fluid gushed forth in a sudden stream out of body parts. The violent explosions and outburst of projectiles brought disorder upon the villagers. Though the villagers were in disarray, all had one motive: getting to the clear expanse before them, which was abounding in lofty narrow-leaved green herbage. Unknowingly of the fate that waited them, they rushed forward into the field of mines. Within seconds, a mushroom cloud was visible. It rose into the air, some 10 kilometres into the sky above the site of the explosion.

The assailants were misinformed of the location the Malik family now dwelled by the - now deceased – mass of the village dwellers, would be oblivious to the wailing of the woman in labour. Undergoing the efforts of childbirth wasn’t a trouble-free task. The head of the newborn first emerged from the womb of the woman and then being escorted by the rest of the body parts. The faces who witnessed the birth of the toddler beamed with joy. Though amidst crisis, the birth of a newborn always seemed to lighten up the mood – no matter the situation. It was truly blissful to witness the birth of a baby. A new baby is like the beginning of all things-wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities. Though the world seemed to be coming to an end, the birth of the child was an indication that the world was to go on. The female cradled her son in her arms, tears of joy streaming down her face. She was surrounded by her family: the first born Lance, two years of age - stayed put beside his mother sitting on the bare ground. He simply stared, naive, unaware of what was going on; but he though beamed with joy. The father, the elderly one with muscular build crouched before his family, delighted. The father stretched out his arms, wanting to embrace the newborn boy. Cradling the baby in his arms, the man of Asian decent spoke, his naturally deep voice seemingly carrying the name of the newborn into the very skies.

"Xavier Yasuo Makoto Malik."

“I love the name,” Mrs. Malik stated, laughing softly.

“Hehe,” the man chuckled before handing over the child back to the mother. He picked up two heavy bags containing provisions and money that would be enough to last them their journey abroad. Though Malik had traveled overseas and to several foreign countries before, his family had not. He was sure they would like the foreign country, as long as they avoided the public; in other words: keeping a low profile. The man would be wanted in the country they were to travel to and endangering his family, especially his newborn wasn’t exactly what he wanted. After cleaning up the mess caused by the birth of the newborn and also cleaning up the baby child, they would head out of the village, taking an altered route – the route the soldiers who were walking the main streets of the village weren’t aware of. Malik laughed within, at the chaos caused by the soldiers – just because they were on the look-out for one man.

Five years had raced by in haste. Their transport overseas had blown up midway to their location. The aircraft could be seen producing smoke before becoming a massive flaming entity airborne and then the explosion had occurred – seconds after the navigator of the aeroplane had made a descent towards the ground, a chute possibly slowing down his descent from the plane. The navigator was no other than a family friend who Xavier’s father could depend on; but alas, the gleam of hope the Malik family had faded, becoming nothing but a space devoid of light. No one was to get off the segregate, large island. It seemed the Malik’s family cover had been blown, sky-high. It was reasonable of one to assume such – as Malik was one, if not the only one with great build in the small isolated village, located on a rather spacious island. It would simply take a binocular and a couple minutes of searching to find the Malik family – who’d taken a huge risk by travelling down a deserted and clear expanse. The military had been playing a game all along, just waiting for the ex-marksman to figure them out, play the cat-and-mouse game with them; which he did, but it took five god-damned years to figure it out.

“I haven’t got time for your cat-and-mouse bull shit! Give up already... I’m still going to munch on that sweet meat of yours, eventually. So, give up already! Wasting my time just infuriates me even more! Ugh! You know what... screw it! I’ll just cut your damned head off!” Xavier uttered in a loud voice at the long-tailed rodent who scurried around, making each attempt five year old made to capture it unsuccessful. One would expect the words to come from an older one, perhaps one in their adolescent. There was a clear reason for this, an explanation that was quite obvious to the onlookers. Xavier was a born master mind with outstanding abilities for a kid his age – he was a genius, having exceptional intellectual ability and originality. He picked up the basics of the human language while at the age of three, learning his cultural languages at four and then now – being taught by his father the Japanese language. Xavier’s father had plans to travel over to Japan after being informed of the vessel heading over to their location. He’d devised a plan, one he was sure to be flawless. Profanities Xavier had picked up after overhearing several rants of his father, which he had while discussing with his friend – the pilot, who it seemed to take two years to finally arrive on the island after the aircraft which he navigated had exploded.

Xavier reached behind him, into the holster strapped to his waist. The tan-skinned boy grasped the handle of his knife – small in size. He stretched out his right arm, aiming at the miniature body of the rodent before pulling back his arm, and with a swift movement he sent the two edged blade moving forward through the air rapidly, impaling the rodent dead-on its neck; out the other end, detaching the rodent’s head from the rest of its body. Apart from possessing his mother’s brains, Xavier also possessed his father’s physical ability and power. Possessing all these remarkable, noteworthy qualities often made one a perfect being – but one also needed to possess the attitude as well, which Xavier did not have. He was lethally short-tempered and had a brutal, cold personality. Xavier was direct and most of the time sarcastic when he spoke, becoming a sadistic one when he killed animals. As time progressed, Xavier eventually developed calmness of mind – his cold demeanor allowing him to stay calm and in control in most situations. Xavier approached the deceased creature, picking up his knife from the ground and then the body, smashing the head with the underside of his footwear. He grinned wildly at his accomplishment.

“Warned you, but you just had to be prude!” he exclaimed at the deceased rodent, scurrying off to the location of his family – all but his brother who had constructed his own personal fishing rod and unlike his brother, chose the easy path and fished rather than chasing after little rodents, inflicting injury on your body in the process. Similar to his brother Xavier, Lance was strong but smarter – being two years older than his brother Xavier, it was expected. Their father had already begun to educate and coach Lance before doing so to his brother. Lance was the calm, collected and kind one – who recently begun to develop the crazy, wild side of his brother. Lance, unlike his brother Xavier was aware of his father’s involvement in the military and why he was wanted by them. It was typical for one to turn crazy after witnessing many deaths of loved ones’. Lance though seemed to be under control of his emotions and actions despite the situation – he just found a way to keep calm. The parents favoured the eldest brother of the two rather than the youngest because Lance was level-headed and was much more logical about things than his brother... he was a demented freak! Or so it seemed.

The sun gradually disappeared below the horizon, it was setting; night time was near. The Malik family collected in a place, around the fireplace that provided luminosity brightened up the darkness the tall sturdy woody plants provided. The period of gloom eventually befell the family, the source of light being the moonlight and fireplace. The dry and dusty western african trade wind blew by, causing the family to cover up their air hole – preventing the fine dust particles passage into their body. Their eyes were shut and dug into their arms, this way the dust couldn’t get into their eyes and thus, cause irritation from doing so. Holding both ends of the thin long stick, Xavier would eat the meat of it. The skewered meat and fish served with ground pepper and onions was one of Xavier’s favorite snacks. This though would be the last well-cooked snack he would have for a while. The last of the family’s ingredients and food were currently being digested. The only source of food now would be the fish in the water and rodents around. A moment of silence befell the group as each and everyone of them savored the delicious, mouth-watering snack.

The next day the assembled before the vast expanse of water. They were waiting to embark on their journey; the ship before them their source of transport. Climbing aboard, they soon very well acknowledged the fact that they had been tricked. Xavier's parents were executed before him while he was forced to watch, immobile and stunned. Not much occurred as Xavier spent most of his time as a slave, before he'd also been executed. The soul burial was performed on him and he arrived in Rukongai, forgetting his history as a human. Soon after, he gradually begun to dream of his life as a human; mainly his child hood and thus was aware of his born-name which he immediately took on. Gaining interest in the Shinigami race, he passed with flying colors; having genius intellect and having knowledge of chemicals, skilled in kido and swordsmanship. He soon became a part of the first division.

Zanpakutô Spirit Name: Hisui
Supaida (Jade Spider)
Appearance:

Spoiler:

Hisui Supaida takes the form of a tarantula, though the size of that tarantula is not always the same. He has presented himself to Suo in many different sizes, from fitting in his palm to crushing him under one of his legs.

Inner World:

The world of Suo's zanpakuto is a spider's burrow, webbing stretching across, back and forth, forming walls, creating tunnels and amphitheater's all within an even more massive cavern. To this day, he has still not determined the exact size of Zanpakuto's world, and suspects it goes on forever. If he asks Hisui Supaida, he merely gets laughter and an evasive answer.

Sealed Zanpakutô :

A luminous silver-hued blade extends forth from a guard of dark hue, attached to the hilt also of black hue. Little and triangle-shaped protrusions are visible on the dark-colored hilt, but of a different hue: diamond. Apart from that, there are no apparent designs on it; just a plain weapon. The hilt extends and stops short at ten centimeters. The blade reaches the length of eighty centimeters, curved slightly at the ending point. The blade's width is that of two centimeters; with sharp edges. There is no "blunt" or "dull" part of the blade. The Zanpakutou is stored in a sheath of white-hue, seemingly having a silky appearance.

PhatomTech: No...

Release: Sink away and bless the earth, Hisui Supaida.

Shikai Description: To release the shikai, Suo drops the blade into the ground. It will fall in seeming slow motion, sinking into the earth, waves radiating outward through the earth. It will take about three seconds for it to sink all the way in after
he lets go of it. That is the last of the blade that's seen in Shikai, However he will sometimes use the sheath of the sword.

Shikai Abilities:

The shikai's ability is rather hard to guess. The name of the blade doesn't give it away, the release phrase doesn't do much either. He will usually just use it here and there at first, only really bringing it out if he feels he needs.

The blade's hard to guess ability is rather simple. Suo has the ability to control a multitude of vines that have now been formed underground, make them burst forth from the ground, lash and whip at unsuspecting enemies. He has quite intimate and fine control over them, able to make them swirl and twirl quite easily. The vines can be any size, from little vine lings, to ones as thick as a man's thigh. Each one is tipped by a spike, making them quite poky.

Each vine is coated in reiatsu, making them rather tough and giving them a hierro like armor, meaning they can take a sword slash without breaking stride. Seeing as the reiatsu is Suo's own, he has some control over it, and can sharpen it into an edge upon the vine's, allowing them to create cuts. They won't be deep, but shallow. However, they don't need to be very deep, as the the main point of the reiatsu is to deliver a poison.

The reiatsu coating the vines is suffused with a poison, so that upon contact with an open wound it will be imparted into the blood stream. It is a localized poison, affecting the area where the cut is and a short ways down in the blood flow. If a shoulder or hip is cut, the entire limb will be suffused with the poison. If the trunk of the body is struck, it will be a more localized affect, merely affecting the area around the cut. The poison causes the nerves in the flesh to be hypersensitive to pressure, amplifying pain by between five and ten times. This means that the pressure caused by just standing on your feet is uncomfortable, running becomes painful on your entire legs, holding a sword hurts as well, and defending with it causes extreme pain. The poison will wear off after about two posts, but can easily be reapplied, after a two-post cooldown.

The sun shone vividly in the plain blue sky, spreading its warmth throughout the village. Guttural sounds of frustration could be heard every now and then, as the villagers expressed disapproval of the high temperatures in Sunagakure; a hint to the season that was to ensue, the lengthy days an addition to the summer season. The Inuzuka was out on a leisure stroll as usual, a book clasped in his hands. With eyes fixated upon the literature, he managed to weave his way through the crowded streets of Sunagakure; knocking against villagers a few times. A simple exchange of apology barred any conflict to arise; instilling tranquility once more between both victims. No hint of perspiration was visible on the boy’s face, though unusual with the heat that overwhelmed the village - he managed to cool himself down with the fresh beverage located in the satchel on his back. Despite the high temperature and for reasons unknown by outsiders, he settled on wearing his casual baggy clothing. It would be a bad choice if he was
planning on staying out for an extended period of time, but he wasn’t – so the
baggy outfit wasn’t much of a problem, since he planned on visiting the cool
environment of his home and staying put there for a while... at least till the
temperature cooled down.

It was apparent that the boy had a good frame of mind, an unusual occurrence. The brown-skinned male usually scampered around causing problems for the villagers. He put down into writing random lyrics, words popped into his head as he sauntered, not precisely certain of the path he walked; with his centre of attention being on the literature in his hands, more precisely the words he wrote down. Accompanied with the rapid movement of his wrist was the constant nodding of his head as the male’s skull moved in several, consecutive trend. He recited the lyrics mentally, attempting to compose a song. Contrasting to other youngsters his age, the Sunagakure menace possessed remarkable abilities: his artistic and musical knowledge which he placed to good use, though in ways that frustrated others. He came to a halt, sealing the book and placing it back in the bag located on his back. He took out two cans filled with paint before sealing up the satchel. The brown-skinned male was going back to his standard practice. With both cans held in different hands, his left feet dragged across the floor, to the left; his body moving along, in a twisting pattern and then back to his straight posture. He executed the same movements, but rather than moving to the left moved the contrary way; the right. He repeated those actions as he walked forward, humming a tune.

The village dwellers looked upon the youngster, aware he wasn’t up to anything good. A scowl appeared upon their faces as they monitored the academy student’s movements. Naru was not bothered by their angry stares; he simply went on about his brief, incessant dance movements. A low, dull rumbling sound emerged from the boy’s attire. Adhering to the forewarning, he came to a halt, revolving swiftly on his left heel; now in the countering direction of the oncoming projectile he ducked underneath it, launching forward at the assailant. He chuckled in a frenzy manner, expressing his amusement: “Aha... AHAHAHAHAHA; it’s you ... again? Haven’t you received enough beating?!”
With his arms crossed, he leaped high into the air, descending down upon the
youngster who had decided to assault him. The youngster, like many others, were
just obstacles Naru needed to overcome if he was to rise to be a great Shinobi.
They stood no chance against him!

As he neared the youngster who held a long, large object in his arms, he spun; forcing is right foot upon the object swaying towards him, stopping its track as he trailed his retaliation against his opponent’s attack with a powerful kick to the chin, forcing his opponent off his feet, hurling backwards into the ground. “Victory!” he exclaimed as he landed on his feet. He turned around, just to acknowledge the mounting group of villagers gradually encircling the brown-skinned ninja. Acknowledging the upset looks on their face, he grinned shrewdly. “Ain’t this a bitch...!” he spoke indistinctly; in a low voice. “Aha!” he chuckled as he spun, a cloud of paint concealing his figure and halting the movements of the villagers. Ceasing the opportunity he dug his nostrils into his arm, dashing forward – out of the cloud of paint before leaping up into the air, over the villagers and successfully settling upon a building’s top. He turned around, facing the villagers. “Eat that, suckers!” his words were accompanied by a mocking laughter as he departed from the location. Prior to his departing, he vandalized the buildings as he left; with his artistic abilities.

With controlled and steady footsteps, he eventually arrived before the building. He placed the paint containers into his satchel, sealing it up after. Gazing at the construction with the collection of literary documents, sources, resources and more; he approached the entry and then came to a halt. Something else had caught his attention. He turned his figure so his back was against the building. “She’s hot...!” he complimented the lean, dark-haired female walking down the streets of Sunagakure. He rubbed his hands, chuckling as his palms rubbed against the other. He dashed forward – a short distance, turning around to face the path the female wandered whilst gliding across the soiled ground. He trailed the female’s tracks, his eyes fixated upon the rounded portions of the female
located at the posterior of her figure. “That’s really hot...” he complimented
her once more, in an indirect manner. He reached into his satchel, grabbed his
beverage and gulped it down. He placed it back into his satchel, pulling out a
book. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a writing implement as he begun to
sketch the figure of the female; the final product would be an inappropriate
image. If he was lucky, he would finish sketching the image before the female
noticed she was being stalked.
