Message in Blood [Hana/Mara]

With the death of both her parents, Hana found herself having to deal with more than she ever wanted. Luckily, she was left a small fortune that contradicted quite a few things her parents had been claiming over the years, so she was able to straighten some problems out. With that small fortune, she was also able to higher two guards to escort her between meetings and whatever other affairs she needed to handle. The chaos in the Rukongai and Seireitei was not exactly allowing for an easy journey home these days, so she was a little scared.

With a stack of papers in hand, Hana walked down the street, her focus on the bureaucratic vocabulary of different contracts she was considering for her family's businesses. Her two guards, Kenji and Akio, were from a specific guard company nobility used. Kenji was large, strong, and focused on close quarters combat. Akio was slender, athletic, and clearly more adept in speed techniques. They were both nice, if a bit rude at times, but Hana felt safe with them, even almost daring to call them friends. Of course, this was pretty naive...
