A Hollow that takes a shape of a crow, Pluma Mortal seems to lack a true form, ever changing in its appearance based on the situation. However, its body is always covered in black feathers, and its mask is always white regardless of it is sports human limbs or an avian body. The main attribute of it is sickly visage at all times, a hunched back large figure with frail limbs that reeks of death and decay.

The Perfect Knight:

The messenger, spy, and poison of Criella, Pluma Mortal is a creature that cannot be trusted. Every breath it takes, word it speaks, move it makes; is all for the advocation of Criella's dreams. However, perfect at its job, it lacks any true direct power, being a creature of deceit and false grandeur. It will not refrain from fleeing a fight at any given moment to preserve itself. The only being its life is worth giving up for is its Queen.



A creature that knew no light, its eyes only watched the dark horizon of Hueco Mundo: spying, hunting, and preying on the weak and dead. Small as it was, Pluma Mortal could only survive by infecting other groups, pretending to be an ally until it was time to feed, and when that time came, it wasted no time betraying and leaving its so-called allies to rot, returning to feast once death fell. Its life, however, took a particularly strange route when it dared tempt an Arrancar woman and her monstrous knight.

Much like before, it watched from afar, waiting and praying for the group's downfall until it came time to cause mass hysteria and take what a scavenger could. A success like all other hunts, it retreated to its nest of bones where days passed before it felt an intruder nearing. It did not understand why something would come after it, but it soon learned as the noisy Arrancar threatened to kill it for causing one of her ilk to die. The monstrous knight fell upon it, death soon coming for it.

That is until the Arrancar had stopped her savage dog and gave it an offer, a chance to use its skills for something a bit more fulfilling than eating leftovers and unfulfilling meals. There wasn't much choice for it, but as it soon became acquainted with its new role, Pluma Mortal was introduced into a world beyond its imagination. It was respected, given a home that wasn't made of skulls, and had... friends... Friends that it did not wish to betray for the first time in its life.

Her network to everything happening in the world, Pluma Mortal has nothing but respect for its Queen, serving her every word without fail. Others are nothing more than interchangeable allies while she is the only true constant in its life.


Of course, with its rank, Pluma Mortal has control over many of Criella's servants. However, it is only outranked by the dog she keeps by her side.



Monstrous Intellect: Not sporting much strength, Pluma Mortal relies solely on its inherent intelligence, sporting a keen understanding of how the world works beyond most other Hollow around it. As it is a being that loves watching, its mind is capable of processing information leagues faster than normal, especially with its powers.

Avien Physique: Bird shaped, Pluma Mortal's body is not physically strong, its bones being hollow to allow it to move faster than a normal Hollow.

Deceitful Fighter: A fighter only for its own sake, Pluma Mortal's fighting style is simple. It does whatever it takes to escape a fight unless victory is already in its favor.



Cero and Bala: Pluma Mortal actually has its own unique Bala techniques. Due to its power, it does not utilize Cero for anything grandeur because it is usually never at full power or a high enough power for a Cero to be as threatening as it normally should. However, it has developed a plethora of Bala techniques that make use of its speed and quick thinking, even sharing some of its knowledge with Criella.

Flocking Bala: By gathering energy underneath its wings, Pluma Mortal is able to fire multiple balls of energy with every beat of its wings, scattering them all around itself.

Painless Bala: A fake out if you will, Pluma Mortal can create an effigy of a Bala that has nothing inside of it. This Bala does no damage and allows Pluma to spend practically no energy to fire it. Its main purpose is to only deceive an opponent.

Crow Bala: Since each crow is made of Pluma Mortal's energy, it can self-destruct them. This move isn't particularly strong, but it does allow Pluma to destroy a crow if necessary.



Pluma Mortal has the ability to shed its wings and create miniature versions of itself that take the shape of mundane crows. These crows barely give off any energy, making them completely harmless but also hard to detect. The main tell sign that a crow belongs to Pluma Mortal would be that the creature gives off a nauseating vapor into the atmosphere that distorts the air around it like a heatwave would. This affliction is only noticeable if a person stares at the birds for longer than one post.

Due to Pluma Mortal shedding its body to create these crows, it also becomes harder to detect the more feathers it has shed, losing its own power in the process. This, however, goes into its next ability. Since the crows are part of its body, each one has the ability to record information whether it be visual, scent, or physical. This information, when returned to Pluma Mortal, becomes part of its consciousness. Pluma Mortal is also able to pass a feather onto another willing individual and share information with them. Though, this can only be done through individual feathers, meaning it can only share what that particular feather has learned. It must then grow a new feather.

Another interesting aspect of this ability is how it interacts with souls. The crows are capable of eating people, and once eaten, if that crow is allowed to return to Pluma Mortal, it is then capable of absorbing said soul, much like how Hollows feed. This ability is mostly used to clean up behind other Hollows and eat whatever scraps may remain of a soul.
