Violent Day, Quiet Night [Catherine, Sola]

The crackle of fire lit the space of safety amongst a land of nothing, night having fallen long after their tussle. The redhead was quietly singing to herself as she held a headless skewered snake over the fire to cook, a small variety of reptiles already cooked and mounted around the firepit - was the only kind of protein she could find out here, with only salt and pepper on her for flavor. She’d been eating at a charred lizard, a disgusted shudder running through her as she’d bite and swallow - less the flavor of the meat and more the texture, no matter how much she stripped the scales the meat felt weird to chew.
She’d occasionally look over at the only other person here, her opponent - of whom she’d patched up and set to rest on her bed pad. Just because he pissed her off didn’t mean she wanted the guy dead, after all. The ginger didn’t look in as great a shape either, bandages covering her face. Her brilliant orange locks were cut short - not that she cared, it’d be back to it’s prime length in a week with how ridiculous it was, but she hardly wanted to do the work of reshaping it then, so might as well have all of it the same length.
A pile of used bandages and empty cartridges were by her, shirt removed to reveal an ugly blotting of the skin, more scars than healthy tissue. The only thing really motivating her to stay awake being the lingering paranoia the Arrancar would wake up and stab her in her sleep or something…

With all the time and having somehow avoided injuries that damaged any organs, except an eye which was going to be a bitch to wait out. So when he woke up and looked around to have a total lack of depth perception he was furious, how the fuck was he supposed to fight like this? It wasn't even worthwhile handicap since it would inevitably heal and all the time he spent needing to adjust to it was wasted time. He looked around for the culprit with half sight until he saw her.
"Alright, listen here bitch. You're gonna regret that stunt."
Would a sneak attack have been the proper play? Yes, absolutely, but he wasn't the sneaky type during times like these. He was going to get some payback for this screwed up eye. That's why he lunged straight past her and crashed into the dirt since his loss of depth perception made their relative positions off. Despite his lunge missing it didn't mean that he wasn't going to reach out in her general direction to get a handful of whatever he could.

"Quit moving. You'll just make your injuries worse and yourself more tired."
That was a bitch to properly dress and wrap, but she didn't feel like making it about herself right now. Sighing, she'd grab his wrist - not with any amount of aggression or tightness, moreso to get him to cut it out.
"Real sorry, okay? You had me pinned, I did what anyone in that position would. My bad, that what you wanted to hear?"
Huffing, she'd let him go, off to grab one of the skewered critters from their perches and presenting the "meal" to the Arrancar, "If you prefer Hollow, I got blood concentrate for you to drink. Not interested in fighting right now, so cool it. Don't want to be knocking you out cold again if I don't have to."

"Fix it lady or I'll beat you stupid."
He warned and ignored the negotiation. Why'd this little brat think she got off on interrupting him while he was trying to take a nap, fight about it all boisterously to a near-death battle, and then say she wasn't feeling it after she got the win? Nuh uh. Rematch time, it was always a rematch in the endless quest for competition. Even if he had to flip the script on her for it. Getting a lucky win and then acting all blasé about it wasn't cool.
"You don't wanna fight, then I'll take yours too and then we'll see who wins with one eye."
Yeah, that was a brilliant idea and so he gave her another wide swing with his free hand while looking for her cheek.

Alright. Knocking him out cold again seemed to be on the table. Well, she had the advantage her she well so thought - full belly, had time to rest, most of the injuries she'd gotten earlier were healed up or were well on the way with her wrapped up and having treated them with healing ointment.
"I can't fix eyes, genius," She'd gently sneer, "Given you didn't seem all that strong, looked like you hadn't thrown your regeneration out. I just wrapped it up so you wouldn't bleed to death in the meanwhile."
She'd catch his fist with her free hand, squeezing it with enough strength to simply cause discomfort - a warning grasp, "You know, I gave it a bit of thought while you were out; You're quite the brute, even to be fighting me now when you're missing an eye and weakened. Why haven't you released your power?"
Her gaze would skirt his form just a little as she'd hold his arm, modifying her strength as needed, "Actually, now that I think about it, you don't seem to have an external weapon or accessory or... Anything, really. You're definitely an interesting one."
Making sure to keep her upper body further away from him and senses alert for any tricks or surprises he could pull, she'd narrow her eyes - he definitely read as the average Hueco Mundo-roving hollow, so maybe she should play into that mentality a bit, "Yknow just ruthlessly fighting about isn't gonna get you what you want... You're more likely to get gulped by a bigger fish than become one yourself."
She looked to the side for a moment, as if she was remembering something, but brushed it off quickly, "Point is, you should take the moment to relax. If you wanna get your aggression out at least wait til you're healed up. The salve I put on should've helped your eye along with healing. At least eat while nothing's trying to kill you."

"Haven't been gulped up yet."
Her hand squeezing his might've been a warning but he was also retarded. If anything, her grasp just served as something to help guide the other hand that swung in the general direction of where her face should be. She was asking all these dumb questions, which frankly, he didn't know the answer to even if she wanted them. What did she want to hear? Yeah, I don't have a weapon. Yeah, I didn't release. Then what? Ask why? Sounded like a stupid conversation to be had that went nowhere.
"So I'll just keep going until it works. Dumbass."

"Your sorry ass is asking for it."
Yeah, it was screamingly obvious at this point the type of Arrancar she was contending with; he was the bulk that only cared about power and ability over substance or thought. She'd dealt with so many more 'domestic' ones recently she must've wrongly assumed the idea would apply to this one too. Well, that answered a question or two, and in turn told her to truly go all out this time if she wanted to win out.
Another arm was thrown up to block his incoming blow, the hand already gripping his fist suddenly twisting with all her might to break his wrist in a surprising show of strength that would make the fragmenting of bone perfectly crackle in the air.
"Cmon then pretty boy, take my eye if you're so confident," She'd taunt in her true accent, that wavering song-like tone from her home country.
