Re: Forged in Guilt, Part 2 [Koga/Hana]

As his blade came around to her shoulder, Hana attempted to moved her sword in a way to block it. For a moment, metal clashed, but his strength was beyond hers and so his blade went through, cutting open the top of her shoulder. Taking a breath, Hana did not stop, she shunpo’d behind him, continuing that dangerous intent to cut her opponent, her enemy, into pieces. Swinging her blade in an upwards direction, she planned on cutting open his back. Her eyes were focused, almost too focused, like everything beyond the battlefield had disappeared, and she still wasn’t seeing Koga.
‘Calm down, Hana.’
‘I can’t.’
‘You can hurt this man. Calm down!’
‘I need real combat experience, so I have to fight like it's not Koga!’

HABAKI KOGA | STRAY DOG
"Sheesh. Someone's excited today, huh?"
Koga was no stranger to being cut, truth be told. He'd experienced it plenty of times, but there was something that felt inherently off with the way Hana was approaching it. It felt desperate. Hell, it felt murderous. Which was also something he was accustomed to from other opponents, but not Hana. Hana's blade would merit her intent as a cut opened across his back.
However, she wouldn't get to celebrate the success for long. Koga flash stepped behind her to cut at her hip. This strike was less rudimentary than the last. It was the sort of blow where he wanted to display what came with live combat versus a simple spar. If she was going to be fighting seriously moving forward, he needed to show her the type of violence that came with fighting on the battlefield.
