Show You What Devotion is[Kenichi, Sabre]

After that prolonged period in Brazil, Kenichi finally recognized that he had been foolish. He had built this entire mountain of guilt in his mind only to realize that he still had support—and most recently, love—in the end. That's right. He was in a relationship with Sabre. Months ago, he would've never imagined that, but that was his reality now, and he was elated every time it dawned on him. Remembering their little moment spent on the beach still made him warm and fuzzy.

Of course, it also made him nervous. After the tense atmosphere and the situation with Priscilla, Kenichi came to another realization. He needed to understand Sabre better. No, he wanted to understand her. More importantly, he wanted to spend time with her. After all, he hardly intended to make their date feel like an interview. That'd be stupid.

Inviting her out on a date in Okinawa - the place where he was born and raised - Kenichi mapped out how the day would go in his head and text. They'd have a spar in a nice mountainous region where they couldn't disturb the civilians, a small affair to get the blood flowing, and then they'd enjoy a nice meal and sit down together. And maybe they'd even swim together in one of the rivers if she was up to it! Clapping his hands together in excitement, probably dressed for the occasion, he eagerly awaits Sabre's arrival. Some small part excited to see her again.

"Of course I am. When it means I get to spend time with you, how can I not be?"

Kenichi chortled softly as he felt the prompt stroke of that tongue across his face. He found the gesture endearing, warmly caressing the side of her face before she took a moment to look around and survey the area. He was half tempted to sneak in a kiss, but he could reward himself with that after the date! That was the honorable approach, after all. Hazel eyes swept over the area as he surveyed the terrain. It was spacious enough for them to conduct a light spar before they enjoyed a bite to eat and relaxed for the day. Stepping forward, he'd nudge his arm against her leg as a finger rose upward.

"I thought a spar would be a good way for us to converse, too. Most dates are about getting to know the other, and I hope I've made it abundantly clear that I want to know all there is to know about you so I can show you how devoted I am to making sure you know I love you this much."

To emphasize that, he'd humorously spread his arms wide with a sheepish grin. It was true. He'd grown unabashedly fond of her over the passing days. He liked what she'd grown to be, and, even before they were in a relationship, her new appearance was gorgeous. What wasn't there to love?
